This was news to me…although a part of me suspected that the person who inspired Jealousy also inspired Being Boring. Just adds more layers to the PSB mythos.

Are typhoon days exciting?

I've never seen a typhoon in real life, so when our teachers warned us about one (Krathon) getting closer to Taiwan, I was surprised by my classmates' reaction. They were celebrating as, it turns out, it means that the classes will be cancelled when it reaches the land.

I'll admit, I was kinda excited too, at first, but the day (2, in fact) arrived, and we were told to stay indoors, I realised just how boring it is. Sure, I have movies to watch, as well as video games I took with me.

So for 2 days, I've read Edith Hamilton's "Mythology"and finished rewatching Harry Potter movies, as well as registered for the TOCFL exam (mainly because our teacher said that those who pass it won't have to write the final exam in January, as well as recieve a gift from the university). Someone might even say I was very productive. Or I'm just old and boring, that counts as well.

I've met a few new students whom I've seen in our "Exchange students" group chat, but never talked to in person. Realised that my German language skills are not as bad as I thought — while the two of my new acquaintances talked to each other, I could understand 90% of what they were saying, just couldn't reply.

The classes started again on 04.10., but at least half of the classroom was empty — it seems some people decided to extend their "vacation."

Came across…this performance of Being Boring…and it was something. I think I came across this look by Neil before and I am a fan. It does look out of place…but that is typical PSB. But the trim down of the song….hmmm.

Makes me curious to see other performances of Being Boring around the time of its original release.
