I liked his design until I realized it doesn't make sense. his name is bluebeetle --- he's brown. uh. I think I might re-do this? at least recolor him. nonetheless he's very sweet-looking.

@dandylovesturtles I thought it would be fun to draw a crossover between Sidelined AU and Minor Interference. MI Donnie is deaf/hard of hearing (he has hearing aids built into his goggles), and he would love seeing other forms of adaptive technology.

I'm a Persona 5 fan, and I also love putting my favourite characters into other settings... especially if they're a bit less despair-inducing than Danganronpa lmao.

So, Gonta as a Phantom Thief (because why the hell not)!! I've had this in mind for a while, and it's definitely not a final design or anything, but I like how it's turning out so far.

His Phantom Thief codename is Beetle :)

I wanted him to look classy, but also a bit intimidating and warrior-like

As for why his Phantom Thief outfit has some intimidating vibes when Gonta hates looking scary... I think he would eventually realise (maybe through an awakening scene?) that he can still do good by using that "intimidating” side of himself, and that he should embrace his whole self to help more and more people

Thinking about it, in a final design I want to make his undervest? Underjacket? thing more armoured, and give him more insect motifs and armour overall

Designing a Persona for him... that's gonna be a challenge if or when I get to it lol

Gonta’s very protection-oriented, not only with the armor on his outfit, but with his Persona abilities. Group defense buffs and group heal skills are a must for him. Is there a move in P5 where a character is 100% guaranteed to tank attacks aimed at others? If there is, he has that for sure. Also his element would be wind and his weakness would be fire

The shield-spear combo was inspired by this quote which pops into my head occasionally:

The Phantom Thieves in P5 all have one gun and one weapon each, so an idea I had for Gonta was that his “shield” would actually be a large beetle-shaped armoured gun, that’s strapped onto his arm like a shield because using it as a gun feels dishonorable. ...But I completely forgot about that when drawing this orz I’ll get it right next time

I also have some ideas for a Kokichi P5 design... we going court jester with this one

Clanmew Masterpost

Clanmew is a constructed language made for Warrior Cats that I, @bonefall, run with my buddy @troutfur! I make the vocab and he does the grammar. I hope that this post will become a good, central place to keep links to everything we've done so far.

CURRENT VERSION: 1.0 LAST UPDATE: 6/3/2023

Clanmew is an OSV-order language, made with the sounds cats make in mind. "Base Clanmew" is built around the Clan Culture updates of the Better Bones AU, which means it is made with the ecology of southwestern Northern England in mind and only contains words for plants and animals found there. It also has phrases for cooking and crafting.

(specific regions modeled: Lancashire, Chester, Manchester, Merseyside, Clwydd is modeled for river biomes specifically)

You are free to use it for your own projects! We encourage you to consider how this language would evolve in your Clan's history, and add or remove words to make a dialect that reflects the culture's feelings and needs.

Additions to my warriors au!

LU AU | Power Shift

A strange dungeon challenge forces The Chain’s items/powers to swap with each other! Oh my! Aka an idea I had that started with me thinking about what would happen if Warriors drew the 4Sword after reading “My Heart’s Forsaken Me”, which then spiraled into this, somehow. Speaking of Wars, let’s start with him:

Warriors - Four - The 4Sword has spilt him up and he can’t convince his other selves to rejoin. His different colors represents different parts of a Five/Four man band, instead of just different emotions.

Green - The closest to the original and The Leader. Very embarrassed by his other selves. He wears the regular Hero’s Clothes, a green tunic with a blue scarf. The rest of the color’s clothes are based on other Hero’s Clothes outfits in the HW game.

Red - The mischievous one who’s always butting heads with the others, he’s The Lancer. He loves to use all of Four’s items, and if the dungeon didn’t ban him from using other people’s weapons, he would steal borrow all the items he wants. He wears the red(since there’s two of them)Wind Walker version of the Hero’s Clothes, a red tunic with a teal scarf.

Blue - The one who would be the sweet one if not for getting constantly frustrated by the other colors. He’s very friendly to Time and Wind, but mostly Wind. He looks kinda sad around Time, and is generally very expressive. He’s insistent on helping anybody he can, he’s The Heart. He wears the Grand Travels version of the Hero’s Clothes, a blue tunic with a red scarf and yellow pants.

Whitney - Similar to Vio, this guy has more of a normal person name, a combination of White and Pinkie, the first two nicknames that were suggested to him. Like Vio, he was also named by Red. He wears the Koholint version of the Hero’s Clothes, which is almost fully white, with the scarf being a light pink and some pink accents on his tunic. He’s the silent tactician of the group, he’s The Brains.

Four - Sky - He is not at all used to carrying around the Master Sword, it being practically the length of his entire body. Once he can successfully swing it, he is able to do a Skyward Strike, but it’s a bit of a challenge. Quite a few of Sky’s items are similar to some of his own, so he mostly knows what he’s doing. He loves the Beetle, he uses it all the time and tries to figure out what he can do to upgrade it. So far, he hasn’t figured anything out yet. But unfortunately, he now he has to deal with Sky’s limited sprinting stamina, sadly not being able to use his Pegasus Boots.

Sky - Legend - Now Sky’s the one who can run to his heart’s content. He has face planted into many walls however. He also has many magical items that he has no idea how to use. It’s a little overwhelming to say the least. Why does Legend have so many rings? At least the Tempered Sword is cool.

Legend - Wind - He can use all of Wind’s items perfectly well, but whatever amount of paranoia he had has now gone through the roof. His items, his precious items that could easily kill Sky if he’s not careful with them, his precious items that could get lost, his precious items that he can’t use-needless to say that he’s not having a good time right now. But he’s holding on, just sticking close to Sky’s side to make sure everything’s okay. And also to laugh at him when he keeps face planting into a wall.

Wind - Twilight - Wind is having the time of his life right now. All of Twilight’s items are so fun to use, he loves the cute little Bomblings and uses the Spinner a lot with Red!Wars. The most exciting thing is that he can turn into a wolf-a sea wolf/coastal wolf specially-with the Shadow Crystal. It’s not too different than experience than using a Hyoi Pear on a seagull, in his opinion anyway. He is very wrong. He also now has Twilight’s marking on his face, and he thinks he looks cool.

Twilight - Time - The markings on his face have been replaced with the ones Time have. He is…kinda confused on what they mean and Time isn’t really giving him any straight answers about it, but the masks are very cool and fun to use. But the strange feeling he constantly has, the strange, almost whispers that he can barely hear, he knows something is wrong. The spirits of Termina are awake, trying to get him to fight literally everything. The Lens of Truth is pretty useful, and magic is cool.

Time - Wild - This wouldn’t be the worst set of items for Time to have, if not for the fact that he also got Wild’s curse of everything just crumbling in his hands all the time. It sucks and he is not at all used to it. Everyone’s a bit more sympathetic towards Wild now. Time’s also a whole lot better with a bow now. He wasn’t bad with them before, but now time seems to slow down when he jumping down from a platform, bow drawn, raining down arrows on the enemies. But now he can’t even tread water without wanting to collapse into himself like a pile of goo. Damn you stamina.

Wild - Hyrule - He was excited about the unlimited* arrows at first, but unfortunately, he was struck with the tiny wallets that can only hold up to 999 rupees. The magic and the rest of the items are amazing though, even though he keeps burning through his magic meter since he keeps thinking it’ll refill on its own. It does not.

Hyrule - Warriors - Since in HW you use items from different games, Hyrule can just use whoever’s items he wants. Basically ignoring some of the limits set by the dungeon. He didn’t understand the combos, weak point smashes, focus spirit, all of that stuff until Wars tells him about it. He still doesn’t really get it but he tries.

I don’t really have a story for this, just spun a wheel and thought this would be a fun idea. Anyone can take any part of this concept and run with it, please @ me so I can see. I also think the name Whitney is inherently funny.

what's your hollow knight au... woah i;m so interested already

WOWOWOW hello :) I'm so glad u asked! Forgive me for the long post friend

1) Lost Kin Food Adventures/Also Hallownest Restored AU:

Part of me wants to keep it brief since I've story boarded a whole chapter of this I've kept but I got to edit it first (if I ever do ;-;)

- Lost Kin being a student and having an informal child/father type relationship Nail master Oro

- Lost kin learns that it's Nailmaster Oro's Hatchling day coming up soon, and they are invited by Sheo and the Nail Smith! Both teach them about birthdays/Hatchling day traditions

- They intend to make a cake! But learns that not many people in Hallownest don't know how to

- Although Lemm is a Relic-Seeker, Lost Kin learns that Lemm had heard of knowledge of adventurers cooking and baking, so they venture out to find the ingredients themselves together

Sideplot skirmishes/Character Moments:

- Hallownest is being rebuilt, and more bugs are flooding in! Hornet makes Quirrel an informal advisor to The Hollow Knight to help organize the kingdom a bit much to Lemm's chagrin

- Lemm × Quirrel: Lemm worries that Quirrel is not thinking about himself after seeing him devote more time to restoring to kingdom. This leaves Quirrel kind of hurt and they fight over it sometimes.

- Lost Kin figuring out themselves battling trauma between the Radiance and Pale King, trapped between void and light.

- Canon Drama: There's still tension between Oro and Mato and the Nailmaster family is tryna fix that

- Minor Drabble: Quirrel and the Hollow Knight reminiscing over their trauma and how they heal to being scared about rebuilding the corpse that is Hallownest

**(I'd imagine Quirrel here thinking fondly of Lemm when he says "it's okay to be useless" from the Stag Beetles and Broken Legs fanfic and somehow paralleling that to the Hollow Knight's new responsibility as king to not have as much pressure. That fic by Aryashi and relationshipcrimes on Ao3 is amazing, go go go)

Notes:

- I'D ASSUME Sheo, Mato, and Oro are all triplets since they're practically identical but for that AU they've hatched on different days

- After installing Tumblr, I've seen SO MUCH food AU Stuff and I'm excited I'm not alone :_) I can't remember the exact creators that I've seen tho sadge

- Its funny since with this AU it assumes that Hallownest's gastronomy (at least in the baking department) being underwhelming as heck. I mean most people in Hallownest are warriors so I don't expect them too kek.

- Battling the fine line betwixt reality and fiction because I've done baking research on what Lemm and Lost kin CAN cook realistically but then like can bugs digest milk? Can bugs make a human cake and eat it too? Or do I have to use realistic substitutes? (Help I learned cockroaches can make milk, now you can know about it too HAH but yea no don't want that)

- Finally, definitely wanna flesh out Lemm and Lost Kin's relationship but I'm not sure how they would bond over in story. Maybe over Lemm's curiosity over the Pale family history and why these bugs look all the same and Lost Kin wanting to just experience life suffering from possession from radiance and such.

This my most beefiest au that I will probably not fully write out (maybe)? Since writing is not my strength at all but thinking of character interactions is so fun. I have more different AU stuff but saving them for other days yes

iirc the Main Matchup for MLB is Ladybug vs (Peter Parker) Spiderman but I also know a lot of people don't care for it. Admittedly Peter kinda just doesn't really have great/popular opponents surprisingly? Like Miles has some fun ones but Peter it's mainly Her, Ted Kord Blue Beetle or a Batman runback.

There's almost certainly other ones but I don't really hear about them. A fun one for Hawkmoth in my head is against the Power Rangers Dino Fury villain Void Knight who has a lot in common with him (both seeking immortal spirits/weapons as a way to revive their dead wives, purple themed, both essentially do the whole 'summon monsters' thing where they also have to convince the 'monster' to work with them, both also battle against their own children but do so unknowingly and use the same equipment the heroes do). Has a fun contrast of Summoner vs Warrior and could have an army battle. Easy to justify too with Void Knight trying to get the miraculous to bring his wife back and of course the 2 fight over that.

Related to that: Power Rangers AU that transplants that season's space aspects to MLB in place of the Kwami. Alya and Nino are the 2 starting Rangers (Thinking Red and Blue), Adrien is #3 (Probably Pink), Chloe and Marinette join later as the green and black rangers (presumably with them having to work together to rescue the rest of the team early on for drama).

i know nobody on here except a couple people knows anything about crowpaw story (my beloved warrior cats stories that i love a lot) but i did a patrician au of them inspired by @troutfur's patrician au

so the basics of Standard Crowpaw Story are: four clans in the baja california/baja california sur/sonoran desert region, first book follows Crowpaw (ShadowClan healer apprentice) being trained by his manipulative, xenophobic, cruel mentor Larkspurleaf who gets him exiled and then he comes back and deposes her. but RiverClan, WindClan, and ThunderClan are also all quite developed & get more relevance in book 2 when Beetlefang, Crowfire's brother, severs the territory's connection to StarClan using a profane ritual.

Crowpaw Story's base healers are: Larkspurleaf and Crowpaw (becomes Crowfire) in ShadowClan, with Larkspurleaf being exiled at the end of book 1. She was preceded by Quailstem, who was preceded by Ashroot, & she became a healer in the first place after killing her abusive warrior mentor & forging an omen.

Spidersight in RiverClan, the World's Oldest Man. he's had several apprentices but he's outlived all of them. Does not currently have one. (this becomes a problem when he gets murdered in book 2)

Harepounce & Thistleheart in WindClan. These two are secretly lovers. Harepounce has severe OCD and Thistleheart's favorite hobby is throwing himself in harm's way to save others.

Tawnyowl in ThunderClan. Originally she's a former loner who the clan rescued from an abusive situation who has become a sort of forbidden mother figure to a litter of 4 kits, one of whom is destined to eventually become ThunderClan's leader.

I started by making Spidersight a 2nd gen patrician, making Sharktail (RC's deputy)'s mother and his niece a 3rd gen patrician. I made her one of Spidersight's dead apprentices, so Sharktail is 1st gen and his daughters Petalfang (got mauled by a coyote and survived Brightheart style, has a TBI and several other issues) and Lizardfoot (G-d's spunkiest ace lesbian) are 2nd gen.

WindClan's family tree is a BIG mess due to some genetic bottlenecks so in order to avoid having 70% of the clan be patricians but still let both Harepounce & Thistleheart be, I made some not terribly interesting bloodline decisions

Tawnyowl... not really sure what her deal is in the patrician AU. Probably she's half-clan, potentially even being born outside the clan, so her heritage is in question despite the fact that her outsider mother and clanborn, patrician father both insist that she is a legitimate patrician. and now she's a healer, yaaaaay. Her kits are probably still the adopted product of a lesbian situationship however; this means they're not officially patricians and therefore she will be eventually expected to produce some legitimate heirs, even if she wants to insist that her kits ARE patricians and have them regarded as such. ThunderClan might be forgiving of this behavior, but the other clans... not so much. Esp not ShadowClan.

Quailstem is Brindlebear's father, making him Crowpaw's grandfather. This means Crow & Beetle are patricians. this is a fun dynamic because Brindlebear has a lifelong rival in Dustchirp who she literally never thinks about, to the point where Dustchirp had kits with Brindlebear's mate and caused a divorce about it. Cricketpaw (the half-brother/surviving affair baby/Dustchirp's son) already has a chip on his shoulder about Crow&Beetle, them being PATRICIANS while he is not only NOT a patrician but also so deeply reviled by them would be such chefs kiss drama (esp because Crow & Cricket end up reconciling later in life and Crow starts to recognize him as a brother). Larkspurleaf is the child of one of Quailstem's siblings or cousins; there were a LOT of patrician kittens born in Quailstem's era.

Now that we've established who's a patrician... ARRANGED MARRIAGES.

The first thing to get out of the way: WindClan and RiverClan have had a flourishing alliance for several seasons and relations are excellent. With WindClan's severely low population, RiverClan would have absolutely given them a patrician to marry off to their healers; Sharktail & his sibling (similar age to Harepounce & to a lesser degree Thistleheart) were both AMAB though so there was no way of getting kittens out of them. Sharktail has kits, though-- two daughters, so naturally... one of them is getting married off to Thistleheart, who is twice her age. Petalfang has a seevere anxiety disorder as a child so she's not the pick: it's Lizardfoot.

So now WindClan's healers, who are secretly in love, have a molly who is interested in neither of them, who neither of them is interested in, forcibly married to one of them. And there's an expectation of kittens, especially once Spidersight dies in the 2nd book & Petalfang is forced to become a healer.

Crowfire is also going to be needing a mate soon, as is Tawnyowl; the 2nd book sees the end of Yarrowstar and therefore ShadowClan's policy of increasing isolationism, so ShadowClan is willing to play ball again. I think it would be interesting if Beetlefang is arranged to Tawnyowl in this time with a promise that one of their kits will be delivered back to ShadowClan to become Crowfire's apprentice, perhaps also with Tawnyowl insisting upon one of her adopted kits being treated as a full patrician and paired up with Crowfire. Not decided on that one yet.

The patrician au is fun. I like it.
