BJ is the type of guy who wouldn't confess so easily

Yet, he tries to give a little hints to say "yk what, i love you" but in his language it would be like:

"lookin' good hotstuff." "ya should get naked rn" well, in general he would be so much flirty

He often imagines himself cuddling up with you,

Totally not paying attention when you two talk, he would be busy thinking how sweet your voice is, or how good you look.

No matter what body type you have - he will love you.

I mean, he's a chubby man himself, if you were like him, hell! He would love you even more

Something that has always interested me a lot about Musicaljuice specifically is trying to figure out who or what exactly he is.

Let me try to explain...

In the movie, the rules of the Netherworld imply that everyone who has passed away was once a human at some point in time, Beetlejuice included.

While we still don't know much about Moviejuice's past, we at least have an idea that he is a several-hundred-year-old ghost with demonic powers.

While I would consider Moviejuice to be more of a demon in terms of power, I would definitely consider Toonjuice to be more of a demon overall (as in both power and physicality).

The Neitherworld was designed in a way where while the associations of death are occasionally there, it acts more like an alternate realm of otherworldly creatures rather than a full on realm of the dead. Most likely done to make the show more appropriate for its target audience. This makes Toonjuice feel more like a creature as a result.

And then... there's Musicaljuice - a consolidation of both ideas merged in a way that gets... kind of confusing?

We at least know that in the musical, Beetlejuice has never lived in the past, thanks to The Whole "Being Dead" Thing. That would mean that Musicaljuice is a bit more adjacent to Toonjuice, in this case.

This now just begs the question - What exactly makes a demon in the musical?

From this point onward, I will be getting into more non-canon/theoretical territory-

In the earlier stages of the musical, Juno was originally going to be called "Mrs. Shoggoth". A shoggoth is a fictional monster in the Cthulhu Mythos.

If you follow the idea that Juno and Beetlejuice's last name is always intended to be Shoggoth, and that it implies that they're Loveraftian-like creatures in some way, then this adds a whole new layer of interesting...

Lovecraft's monsters were described as creatures unlike anything a human being has ever seen. Creatures beyond our comprehension. If this is the case, then what does that make the Shoggoths...? Where did they even come from?

I don't think we'll ever know for sure what exactly Beetlejuice is intended to be in the musical, unless... y'know, they decide to expand upon it via some form of post-musical media? Like a cartoon?

Right now, the idea that Beetlejuice and Juno are these strange, unknown beings genuinely intrigues me.

From everything I have found so far, it wouldn't be far fetched to believe that Beetlejuice, the way that we know him, is only a masquerade of his true form.

A strange, unknown creature hiding under a human-like skin.

At least... that is my headcanon.

Hey, I don't know if you've answered this before or not but, what do you think the colors in musical!beetlejuice's hair mean?

Like what colors mean and ur personal headcanons for them?

We're gonna start with the obvious

Dull forest green is his default, you can see bits of black and brown mixed in there, and it's just his neutral mood

Green, more vibrant and full of life, even for a dead guy, when he's happy and excited, or just having fun, like in "that beautiful sound"

Purple, sadness, of course, depression, just feeling down, sometimes can be a bit blue depending on how shitty he feels, when he cries, his tears are black and gooey, they'll stain your clothes

Red, anger, I mean duh, can resemble fire when he's really furious, but that rarely ever happens

Pink, love, when he's smitten, soft, love sick

Black, despair, usually accompanied with black gooey tears, and struggling to hold a physical human form

Yellow, for the longest time, I had no idea what to do with yellow, and a lot of musical Beetlejuice writers tend to go differently with it, but personally, I landed on yellow means confused, it's not a colour that appears often, and never really fully blooms on his form, normally springing up in small patches

Magenta, horny

Advanced lessons, the black stripes on Beetlejuice's suit CAN change colour to match his hair on rare occasions, but he REALLY has to be feeling it

His first genuine kiss with you? His hair, tie, moss, and stripes are now pink

His mother is chewing him out in front of you, saying how you could never ever love a disappointment like him? His hair and suit are now purple, and he's struggling to hold a solid form, almost melting

I do like the idea of negative emotions affecting his physical appearance as well. Musical Beetlejuice is a demon, yeah? Who's to say his human form is his true form? Maybe when he gets so angry, his teeth get sharper, his hands more claw like, his eyes more snake like, ect ect it's get worse as he gets mentally worse

If the DR2 Cast is performing Wicked, what are the THH and V3 Cast performing respectively?

This is a really complicated brainworm so let's start with this: every year the 3 classes competed for best musical performance every year, and the 3 winning ones are:

Dr1 class: Heathers, year 1 champions. Slightly altered censored version, Junko wasn't acting she was just being herself.

Dr2 class: Wicked, year 2 champions. Made as faithful to the source as possible (homoerotic undertones) and a real jet-powered broomstick.

DrV3 class: Beetlejuice, final year champions. Special effects cranked up to 1,000, HOW DOES HIMIKO FLOAT? (fx) MAGIC.

I am so excited to share my first ever drawing of Bettyjuice!!! ✨️

I originally did not have plans to draw her, but thanks to a good friend (and huge Betty lover) of mine, I gained the motivation to draw my take on a musical version of her! I used both my original Beetlejuice reference and creaturologie's version of Bishoujo Beetlejuice to create the design! I'd like to make a digital ref for her, just much later down the line.

To me, musical Bettyjuice would act as the older sister (or possibly cousin?) of Lydia, taking on the form of an adult woman in her early to mid 20s, rather than a teenage girl like the cartoon. She is supposed to keep Lydia safe while she's out, but instead gets into numerous random fights with teens, parents, and anyone else daring to challenge her. This obviously embarrasses Lydia, but doesn't stop her from calling Betty a part of her family. 💚

Random Beetlejuice Musical Headcanon:

With how crafty Barbara and Adam are, they'd likely have small cuts and scrapes and callouses on their hands.

Adam probably has a couple nicks on his hands/forearms, and callouses on his fingers, plus a couple of splinters.

The side of Barbara's hands (the side opposite of the thumb) would essentially have been rubbed raw and red due to many lessons on a throwing wheel. (With how good her vases are, I'd estimate a few months of lessons, which would rub her hands raw. This is coming from someone who works on a throwing wheel.) She also probably has clay and glaze in her hair/on her dress and keeps lotion on standby to rehydrate her hands after making pottery on the wheel.
