OK so everyone makes parallels from gingi to callum but it's more of like a Gingi-Callum-Mingus they're ALL in his shadow even if Gingi doesn't realize it. That's why Mingus hates gingi so much! SHE has to be the next callum not this green THING which she sees so much callum in! This is obviously all unconscious. Gingi and Callum have pretty obvious parallels even to the point where Gingi is able to accurately see things from Callum's perspective on multiple occasions. Even so far as to hallucinate him and take advice from the hallucinations (as seen in Roger's route). It's almost like Callum got split into two parts: a conscious and an unconscious. Where Mingus would be the conscious, always TRYING to be like him. Always seeking his approval. And Gingi is the unconscious: like him but not on purpose. Taking stuff from him, but not because they aspire to be like him. More on a deeper level

Hi. I don't remember everything but I remember that you can land in a third room whilw visiting Vlastomil's estate. And there are red beetles here. Nadia says something about those being used to make dye jn vesuvia before the plague if I remember correctly??? And well I didn't remember the part about birthday parties ( I will have to reread that tale) but this makes even more sense now... Well the beetle person associated with beetle tribe also loves parties...

ohhhh I'd have to replay it because I dont remember the party being mentioned but I DO remember Nadia mentioning that the red dye from the beetles was in fashion at the time, and the book also confirms that "Vesuvian Red" was trending at the time... it's like gee I wonder how people were getting the plague so bad 😭 and it's like gee I wonder where this came from. it can't possibly be the Count who's favorite color is bright ass red- but to be fair I don't think they knew at the time the beetles were carriers of the plague

god. i just remembered i found a beetle crawling around in a public bathroom today so i compulsively grabbed it OFF THE FLOOR put it in my bag washed my hands and then took it outside and dropped it in the dirt. i fear i truly am just a weird feral beast from the woods. that was really strange behaviour.

helloo you mentioned that jackles has a bug power, but what exactly is this power? is it manipulation of any bugs or like bug-like characteristics or something else? trying to consider more factors to think about what is a good opposing power to have :D

ok trying to remember what I typed up in my notes a while back — he has this belt loosely fitted on his waist that has bugs in resin tied(?) on it and when he throws them to the ground, they break and the bug in said resin comes out and fights for him (he fights too obviously but his big help).

The power that's used is based on the bug. I think I for examples I said bees are like poison, spiders can slow the enemy with webs (or was this one poison??) but I can't remember exactly what I put. I remember mentioning more bugs like centepeeds (is that how you spell it?) but these are the two I remember fully (and idk if bees were poison so 💀💀)

He does have to make the bugs in resin himself and that's the downside bc he might have to leave battle bc of lack of bugs if it's too much but I hope I explained this well and answered your question caz 🙏🙏
