Ten Shadows Technique

Yeah, let's talk about the Ten shadows technique. Again.

Ten shadows technique is derived from the lore of Tokusa no kandakara (十種神宝) or Ten sacred treasures from the Shintoism lore. These are the symbols that depict them - and most of these can also be found engraved on the shikigami summoned using the technique

Okitsukagami (Mirror of the Deep) -- Toad (Fushiguro's)

Hetsukagami (Mirror of the Shore) -- Max Elephant (both Fushiguro's and Sukuna's)

Yatsuka no tsurugi (Eight hands Long Sword) -- Makora (not engraved clearly like most, but literally in its name when Fushiguro summoned it)

Ikutama (Jewel of Life)

Makarukaeshi no tama (Jewel of Resuscitation) -- Round Deer (Sukuna's; very perfect with its use for reverse curse energy)

Tarutama (Jewel of Plenty) -- Black Jade Dog (Fushiguro's)

Chikaeshi no tama (Jewel of turning back on the Road) -- White Jade Dog (Fushiguro's). The combination of Tarutama and Chikaeshi no tama's symbols make up the symbol on Kon Jade Dog.

Orochi no hire (Snake[-repelling] Scarf)

Hachi no hire (Bee[-repelling] Scarf) -- Piercing Ox (Sukuna's)

Kusagusa no mono no hire (Scarf [to ward off] Various Things)

That leaves Nue, Escape Rabbit, and Serpent. Serpent should be ikutama by the glimpse of it, but it's unclear. So Nue and Rabbit would be Orochi no hire and Kusagusa no mono no hire.

After a few years of guessing game, we finally have the full roster of shikigami army that the Ten Shadows technique can summon. Although with unexpected twist of not one, but two users.

Leshy – ‘Forest guardian’, the lord of the forests

The Leshy is a tutelary deity of the forests in pagan Slavic mythology. He is the spirit who rules the forest and the hunt, and the master of the forest animals.

Leshy had well developed polymorphic skills. Mostly, he was appearing as an anthropoid creature, old  man with a beard, sometimes a one eyed cyclops. He could change his sizes due to the height of the forest. Moreover, he could take the form of animals such as wolf, bear, eagle-owl, or even transform into wind. Leshy’s helpers were  various small demons, ghosts and forest imps, such as auk (the ghost of echo), puszczewik, Mochowiks, (guardians of mosses) Lugowoj and Polewoj. There were also caring creatures, for example grybicz (mushrooms), jagodynicz (blueberries), pczelicz (bees), whose names clearly show what kinds of forest “inhabitants” they were taking care of.

Towards people, his behaviour was changing, from neutral to hostile. It depended mostly on how people treated the forest and its creatures. Leshy was especially unfriendly to hunters and lumberjacks, who were clearly violating his inhabited lands. Depending on his attitude, he could either misguide people, or help them to find a way out from the forest, play pranks by, such as scattering forest undergrowth from the basket, or protect them from wild animals attacks. Formerly, the place, where Leshy’s presence, or signs of his activity, were observed, was considered as a sanctuary. It was forbidden to come in to that part of the forest, but more importantly, to cause damage such as cutting down trees, hunt, or collect fruits of the undergrowth like nature reserves.

If you are walking through a deep, overgrown forest and feel someone looking at you or following you, it could be a Lshey. If you turn around to look at him, you cannot see him as he’s much quicker than you.

He may try to misorientates travellers entering the forest and lure them deeper into the forest, but if they wear their shoes backwards and their clothes backwards and forwards, the Laceys will be confused and their magic will be easily broken.

レーシー 〜「森の番人」、森の主

レーシーは、異教徒のスラブ神話の森の守護神である。彼は森と狩りを支配する精霊であり、森の動物たちの主でもある。

真っ白な頭髪と長い髭を持ち、足まで届く頭髪と髭で体が隠れている。 森の中では樹木と同じように大きくなり、森の外では木の葉に隠れられるほど小さくなるともいわれる。

レーシーはよく発達した多形能力を持っていた。最も一般的なのは、人間型生物、髭を生やした老人、時には一つ目のサイクロプス、不自然なほど白い顔の人間として現れることである。また、森の高さによって大きさを変えることができる。さらに、狼や熊、鷲のような動物の姿になったり、風に変身したりすることもある。レーシーの助っ人は、アウク (木霊)、プシュチェヴィク、モホヴィク、ルゴウォジュ（苔の守護者）、ポレウォジュなど、さまざまな小悪魔や幽霊、森の妖怪たちである。また、グリビッチ (キノコ)、ヤゴディニッチ (ブルーベリー)、プツェリッチ (ミツバチ)など、世話好きな生き物もいた。その名前は、彼がどんな森の「住人」の世話をしていたかを明確に示している。

人間に対しては、人々が森とその生き物をどのように扱うかに大きく左右された。特に、ハンターや木こりなど、明らかに自分の生態系を侵害するものに対しては、レーシーは非友好的であった。彼の出方次第で、人を迷わせたり、森からの脱出を手助けしたり、バスケットから森の下草を撒くなどのイタズラをしたり、野生動物の攻撃から守ったりすることができる。以前は、レーシーの存在や活動の痕跡が確認された場所は、聖域とされていた。自然保護区のように、その場所に立ち入ることはもちろん、木を切り倒すなどの被害を与えること、狩りをすること、下草の実を採取することも禁じられていた。

深く生い茂った森の中を歩いているとき、誰かの視線を感じたり後をつけられている感じがすれば、それがレーシーである可能性がある。 姿を見ようとして振り向いても彼の方が素早いので姿を見ることはできない。

森に入る旅人の方向感覚を狂わせ、森の奥に誘い込もうとすることもあるが、靴を逆に履いたり、服を前後逆に着たりすると、レーシーは混乱し、魔法は簡単に解けてしまう。

Hu Tao was setting up for her little party in the lodge chamber furthest from the expedition basecamp when she realized Kaeya was leaning on the open doorframe, watching her with his arms crossed. Recalling an earlier conversation, wondering if he had changed his mind, she paused in shaking out dusty blankets to greet him.

“Haven’t you been a little busy bee?” he remarked. “You know, I might just feel a little left out.”

“You could trade for your own snacks,” Hu Tao suggested. “And you’re perfectly capable of hosting your own little party for the boys. We won’t need you all night.”

Kaeya chuckled without much humor. “It wouldn’t be the same, especially with what passes for alcohol out here.”

“It might be worth a try, though,” she encouraged, because she could imagine some of the boys actually opening up to Kaeya, even now. He was good at that, even with a second soul looking over his shoulder.

Kaeya seemed to consider it before shaking his head.“Nah. It wouldn’t be a fun time. Most of those fuckers have forgotten how to laugh.”

“Kazuha and Xingqiu laugh! That’s half. You three can remind the rest.” 

“Eheh, Xingqiu’s a good kid, but Kazuha is a little scary these days. Haven’t you noticed?”

Hu Tao considered this. Just as with Kaeya, everybody seemed aware of the shift in Kazuha’s temperament. The intensity that he normally managed so well had been on full display since they escaped the Moongrave, mostly focused on Zielle. He didn’t have the supernatural abilities some of the expedition could call on, but he held an unexpected power of his own. Hu Tao hadn’t been the only one surprised by the skill and speed he’d displayed in the flower duel with Dainsleif. Xingqiu had actually been shocked.

“I mean, how has he managed to keep that a secret all this time?” Xingqiu demanded of nobody in particular.

Lumine shrugged. “I knew.”

Xiao, perched beside Hu Tao, observed, “He nearly disabled one of those ancient Khaenri’ahn manufactories alone.”

Xingqiu opened and closed his mouth, and Lumine added, with just a touch of malice, “Did you see how he cut through the Ruin armor plates with a common steel sword?”

“That was him? Not Xiao? Not you? How did he do that?”

Xiao shrugged. “He understands his weapon perfectly, and in return, it acts an extension of his will, diamond-bright.”

Still, the only people he’d had a strong reaction to had been Albedo and Kaeya, so Hu Tao asked teasingly, “Ah, and you’re scared of him?”

“No,” Kaeya conceded. “But trust me, he’s not going to laugh at any jokes I make. Not while Zielle is in play, anyhow.”

Hu Tao noted his phrasing, finished folding a cloth and tilted her head. “Does anything scare you?”

“Not anymore,” he said, so casually that Hu Tao’s blood ran cold.

I'll answer these for Phoenix, Franziska, and Edgeworth. Would do Maya, and maybe Gumshoe as well, but I haven't been able to think of much for them as I'm writing this. :(

3: NoTP?

For Phoenix: I'd say Kristoph, and Maya... Their dynamics with Phoenix are quite interesting, but reading those dynamics as romantic simply isn't for me.

For Franziska: Any men... I think, if she's romantically for anyone, she's here for the women. It's hard for me to comprehend the idea that people would ship her with a man to begin with, but there's probably someone out there, logically.

For Edgeworth: ...Women. It's outright stated by himself (and by other characters, if I recall correctly?) that he doesn't feel anything close to romantic for women, let alone feel willing to date one. Sure, Gumshoe misinterprets him and/or his situation a few times, but ... That's Gumshoe being used for comedic relief. I can only think of one (1) dynamic with a woman where it could reasonably be read as romantic, and Faraday is ... Reading that dynamic as romantic isn't for me, either. (EDIT: I completely forgot about Oldbag. He doesn't reciprocate it, sorry.)

17: What's a book, movie, or show you think [character] would like?

For Phoenix: I can't think of anything other than the common headcanon that he loves Legally Blonde. It's a common headcanon for a reason.

For Franziska: I think she would like The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd...? I'm not 100% sure on this, though. She would probably feel ... angry? distraught? about May, due to how close to home it all hits for her.

For Edgeworth: I'm not sure if he'd be into Pokémon as a whole, and the time it was in theatres + on TV means he probably wouldn't have had the opportunity to see it, but I like to think if he was dragged into seeing 神速のゲノセクト ミュウツー覚醒/Genesect and The Legend Awakened, he would have Emotions over it.

22: Give us a headcanon for [character]

For Phoenix: After seeing and experiencing everything he has, I wouldn't be surprised if there were times where he refused things like food and drink that he didn't see prepared himself. Maybe some medicines that he didn't acquire himself, too. It might be paranoia, or it might be reasonable skepticism. Trust is not something he can give so freely, anymore, and we know how ... selective he is about taking clients (defendants who are guilty deserve a lawyer's representation, too).

For Franziska: I think, after everything, Franziska considered changing her last name, and decided to keep it for the symbolism, and out of love, and out of spite. She very clearly loved and respected her father, and he loved her back, but ... after his arrest ... Well. Karma came to collect his debt, and she refused to be held responsible for his actions. She is far more than simply Manfred's daughter.

For Edgeworth: I know the series likes to joke about how much Edgeworth thinks Gumshoe sucks and should have a miniscule salary, but ... I believe he genuinely thinks of Gumshoe as a friend. Gumshoe is kind and helpful and genuinely respectful to him, and there are moments where he reciprocates that. I think about how Gumshoe was likely the only person he trusted to tell the truth during the time when he “chose death” a lot.

Brief Personality: Kaguya is a very monotone person. He has a tendency to push people away from him by making himself as boring and unapproachable as possible. But in reality he’s just really awkward. He is the type of person who much rather stay at home with a bunch of books than go outside and hang out with his friends.

Brief Backstory: Kaguya was born without a name, somewhere on the moon. His parents kicked him off the moon and he plummeted down to earth. He was found by a local orphanage due to his crying.

He never really knew why his parents abandoned him.. But he did know that humans weren’t much better.. His peers would bully him for most of his life due to him not being like them.

He lost himself in fairytales, reading every book he could. He thought if he lost himself in the stories and his role as a god, everything would be alright.

However, now Kaguya is very standoffish. Not even giving people the privilege of speaking his real name. Instead wanting to be referred too as “Kami” or “God”.. He is a bit of an odd ball..

Many people have hurt Kaguya over the years, causing him to retreat further and further into his shell. However lately a few cracks have been shown.

Summary

Zhongli puts on his shoes with some mental resistance. The moment he places his now covered foot on the ground, it’s like the world goes numb and hazy around him. It’s a little easier once he’s outside the building and he begins to walk on the stone carved path. On the other hand however, it does become more difficult to listen to the tremors and vibrations of the ground and walls. Liyue Harbour is a loud, lively, busy, eccentric city. The movement of people walking around, their conversations and the constant jingle of Mora being exchanged sounds like a hive full of swarming bees to Zhongli.

It’s a beautiful, cacophonous and vibrant harmony. But it too puts strain on the mind of a man just trying to find his way to work.

熱終わりの水滴

この調子なら明日もう出勤してもいいのではないか？とりあえず今日はいつものスタバに勉強しに行くか、と思って昼前に家を出たが、15時頃に突然体が熱くだるくなり、腕が赤くなってきて、やばい発熱だ……と思って帰ったが、熱を測ると36.4℃しかなく、帰りの日差しでやられたのか、その後部屋で寝ているうちに熱中症になり、18時頃から死ぬほどの頭痛にくるしんだ。こ、この調子ではとても明日の出勤はむり…と思い職場への連絡は断念した（早く治ったら連絡してねと言われている）。頭を冷やしつつ、空腹で変な映像が見え始めたので、また半ば緊急的にピザを注文した。前回貰ったクーポンで、Sサイズを1500円で買えた。クワトロニッポン（炭火焼き鳥、テリマヨ、3種チーズ、明太もち、の四種類で死ぬほどうまい）。ばくばく食べて2切れ冷蔵庫にしまい、しばらくベッドに座って休んでから、寝た。0時前に目覚めて「熱が下がったあとの感じ」になっているな…と思いながら、頭痛が消えていたので、最果タヒを3編書写してから1200時ほど燐一の導入を書いた。本当に学習しろという感じなのだが、また保存しようとしたところ、直前でポメラが落ちてデータが消えた。悲しみの中なんとか覚えているところだけを打ち出して（表現はかなり変わったが致し方なし）、新書ページメーカーで進捗としてTwitterに上げた。上げないよりは上げた方が満足度が上がるので…。あとはこれに夜のパート、というかここが本来の本筋なのだが、をくっつければお題2つ目は一応クリア。でもそのあと3つ目のシーンを入れるかもしれ��い。すると少し長くなる。R-18にしたくないが、話の都合上そうならざるを得ない気がする。Twitter上で載せていきたかったが、privatterを挟むか…リンクを踏まずにいきなり画像で小説を読めるのがTwitterのよいところなのに。

『資本主義の〈その先〉へ』（大澤真幸）が2章の4-5まで来た。剰余価値の生産の核心に迫る部分。たいへん面白い。キリスト教の予定説と重ね合わせて資本主義や投資について読みといていくのだが、『資本論』の初学者向け解説にもなっており、非常にありがたい。何より私は大澤先生の言葉選びの上品なことが好きだ。文学的ですらあると思う。普遍化（＝より広範な社会的領域での承認）というのが今日のポイントだったと思う。昨日は寝る前に『侍女の物語』も進めた。小説は最初の設定のようなところを抜けると、あとは背景を使いまわせるのでわりと読むのが早くなることがわかった。序盤を読んだ時は特に何も思わなかったが、言われてみれば結構えぐいというか、暗いところの描写が細かい小説かもしれないと思う。とくにウエットな質感ではないので淡々と読める。

働いていないとさまざまに悪い思考に囚われてしまう。それとは別に、はっきりと、今日頭を冷やして目を瞑りながらわかったのだが、私の人生はこれから何をどうやっても「当初の『幸せ』」は達成できないということだ。自分が幸せになれないのなら、他人の幸せのために生きるので別に全然いいのだが、そうか、人はこうやって自分が幸せになれたかなれなかったかを判断する時が来るんだ、と感じた。今年36歳になる（正確には1月なので今年度）。私は結婚して出産して家庭を築きたかったタイプのシスヘテロの女なのだが、残念ながらこれは未達成で終わったということだ。そもそも結婚はできないうえに（ただし、32くらいでできるようになった）、治療薬のため出産もできない（奇形児になる可能性が高い）、さらに週に4日までしか労働できない、かつ非正規雇用しか精神的に耐え得ない、となると、もうパートナーを見つけることが絶望的に難しい。でも、それでいいと思う。できないことはできない。できることをやって生きていくしかない。人生は希望通りにはならない。悲しいという思いもあるが、それでも生きていく方法はあると思う。あとは早ければ8月に受給可否が決まる障害年金が降りてくれればまだ希望がある���、降りなかったら、どうしようかなあと思っている。資格が取れないとこれ以上自分の希望通り生きていくのは難しい。でも、今はやり方がわからないだけで、夢に近づく方法は色々あると思う。ともかくは週に4日の労働に復帰することだ。これは給与のためというより、体力維持のためである。どちらにしろそろそろ生活保護の申請はしなければならないだろう。ぎりぎり生活保護費支給対象（支給されても1〜2万）になってしまう気がする。が、これ以上この体で稼げないので仕方がない。もう1日14時間働ける体力は無い。アルバイトを掛け持ちできる人生の期間は終わった。公助に頼り、許される範囲で生きていくしかないが、それでもやはり福祉系の資格を取りたい。通信制の大学に行きたい。障害年金が降りなかった場合、その道は一旦閉ざされるが、なんとかどうにかして資格を取れないものだろうか？または、週5日の勤務に耐えられる体になるとか、障害者雇用でそれなりの給与のところに転職するとか、諦めずに粘っていきたい。

あんスタで今日からニキなずなのツアイベが始まった。まずニキのセットリストが凄くいい。Vermilionは29レベルでまだフルコンできないものの、かなり叩けるようになったのでBP0で何回か練習した。Be The Party Beeはフルコンを逃したのでこれもBP0でフルコンまで叩いた。ほかは割と順調。今日は目が疲れたのでDAY3までで終了。欲を言えば1日に5DAYくらいは進めたい。

Golden gorse is an evergreen shrub that takes root almost anywhere in grassy meadows in Britain and western Europe, growing in clumps, with sharp spines on its twigs and smaller spines on its leaves. Strong enough to survive in harsh, cold lands even when strong winds blow, golden gorse bushes provide excellent wind shelter and valuable shelter in bare wastelands.

The thorny leaves prevent the evaporation of water, and the golden flowers bloom at any time, whether sizzling in the sun or covered by sea water. On a calm day with no wind, the flowers have a sweet scent similar to that of coconut or vanilla, and in brilliant sunshine, the pods of the golden gorse burst into tiny seeds that scatter all around, interrupting the buzzing of the bees. The bright golden colour of the flowers uplifts the spirits and beckons the bees in search of sweet nectar.

The ancient Celts would have been looking forward to the arrival of spring, when the golden gorse would be in full bloom and the golden waves would cover the whole area. The yellow flowers of the golden gorse represent the energy of the sun and are symbolic of Lugh, the Celtic sun god of light and talent. The bees also symbolise the wisdom that bees have acquired through their dedicated work. With its evergreen foliage that never ceases to flower all year round, the tree is vital in its radiance and its energy is uninterrupted even during the darkest days of midwinter.

The golden gorse is a sign of courage and a promise of the coming of spring. It is a feast for the eyes and a renewed spark of hope in the midst of disappointment. For the Celts, the golden gorse was a symbol of optimism and trust.

ハリエニシダは、英国や西ヨーロッパなら草深い牧草地のほとんどどこにでも根を張る常緑の灌木(かんぼく)で群生し、その小枝に鋭い棘をもち、葉にはもっと小さな棘がある。強風が吹き荒���ても厳しい寒さの土地でも生きられるような強さをそなえ、ハリエニシダの茂みは素晴らしい風よけになり、むき出しの荒地では貴重な避難場所を提供してくれる。

棘のある葉は水分の蒸発を防ぎ、太陽にジリジリ焼かれようと、海水をかぶろうと、いつでも黄金色に輝く花を咲かせる。風も絶えて穏やかな日には、ココナッツかヴァニラに似た甘い香りが花にたちこめ、燦々と降りそそぐ日差しのもと、ハリエニシダのさやからは、ミツバチの羽音を遮るようにポンと種子がはじけて、微小な種子があたり一面に撒き散らされる。目に鮮やかな黄金色の花は気分を昂揚させ、甘い蜜を求めるミツバチたちを招く。

ケルト人たちは、満開に花を咲かせたハリエニシダが黄金色の波となり一面を染め上げる春の到来を心待ちにしていた事だろう。ハリエニシダの黄色い花は太陽のエネルギーを表し、光と才能をつかさどるケルトの太陽神ルグの象徴だ。ミツバチは蜂が献身的に働いて手に入れた知恵も象徴している。一年中花を絶やすことなく、常緑の葉を持つこの樹木は輝きの中に生命力を宿し、そのエネルギーは真冬の暗い日々の間にも途切れることはありません。

ハリエニシダは勇気のしるし、春の訪れの約束です。目を楽しませ、失意のうちにあるものに、ふたたび希望の火を点じる。ケルト人にとって、ハリエニシダは楽観主義と信頼の象徴であった。

Tarinof dance company 本公演 生と死を見つめる3部作 第1章『死と乙女』 フランス・パリで初演を迎えたこの作品は、東京で凱旋公演を果たし、更なるリクリエーションを重ねカンパニー本公演で集大成として上演いたします。

カンパニー初となる3年間に渡る長期企画『生と死を見つめる3部作』。2024年は第1章「死と乙女」を上演します。

　フランツ・シューベルトの楽曲にドイツの詩人マティアス・クラウディウスが歌詞を加えた歌曲で、病の床に伏す乙女と死神の対話が描かれた原作「死と乙女」。TARINOF版「死と乙女」のテーマは「生きること」です。ある意味全員が何者かに遺されている私たちにとって、この世界で「生きる」とは何なのか。原作における乙女にとっての死神という存在を再解釈することで、この普遍的な問いに向き合います。

　フランス・パリでの初演、凱旋公演を経てリクリエーションを重ねた「死と乙女」の集大成、そして『生と死を見つめる3部作』の始まりを、是非劇場でご覧ください。
