It's always fun going back and looking at the little blurbs I've written for one shots, because I always forget some and am surprised by them.

Like one was a Sun and Moon pirate Au where they were cursed to become one animatronic and had their heart placed into a locket, which is the only thing that can actually kill them. So anyway the locket is stole by their best friend and he gives it to his little sister, the reader, for safe keeping. A ploy by him to set the three up, and because he was dying anyway so why not?

No way Gray was 7 when Deleora killed his family and 8 when Ur died. He did not spend 1 year with Ur and learn as much as he did as fast as he did. He did not spend 1 year with the woman who we see him remembering more than his actual family who apparently died when he was definitely old enough wayyyyy more trauma from that. Nuh uh. Gray was like 6 when his family died and like 9 when Ur died. He remembers his family but his brain repressed most of that trauma when he was younger, so we see him talk about Ur more because that’s more recent and harder to forget. Shut up Mashima your timeline for Gray is totally bonkers and I do not accept it.

Why is Ford even there, you might ask? Well, he either decided he preferred to watch Bill suffer in person over being distantly and repeatedly harassed with the same evil desperation book for the rest of his life, or he got roped into some kind of contrived community service for 1.) all his many counts of interdimensional thievery, and 2.) his ignoring all the very clear warnings to NOT summon Bill in the first place (which I like to imagine is also illegal). Theraprism staff were just like, 'Wait, this guy matters to Bill? Ooh, we can USE that! It might be the only thing that can help him want to get better!' It is not considered that throwing Ford at Bill so soon after Weirdmageddon could instead make them both WORSE - in new and altogether special ways! :D

Anyway, I'm calling it the Community Service AU, and I am most likely not going to do anything else with it beyond appropriating these silly Good Place jokes. So, feel free to adopt the concept if y'all wanna??? Just make sure that Bill is still not allowed to swear, no matter what, full stop. It's gotta be a real linguistic corkblork of a situation for him, is all I'm sayin'.

The little scene after hell on the rooftop is underrated actually! The way Charles glances at him and smiles is soo... not flirtatious exactly but idk. he has just found out that Edwin, who he thinks is the best person in the world, loves him. And I think it makes Charles really happy, knowing that Edwin is in love with him, even if Charles himself is still figuring out his own feelings. It's like that incredulous feeling of 'holy shit what did I ever do to make this incredible person fall in love with me?', and that's why he glances away almost shyly and looks like he can't stop himself from smiling to himself.

And he's SO quick to tell Edwin it didn't make things uncomfortable/awkward/whatever Edwin was planning to say, like he actually cuts off Edwin's words! Like he's saying he's the opposite of uncomfortable with it, and he looks so pleased and happy and a little shy and yes, in love in that moment. I think he loves that Edwin is in love with him (which in time he'll realise is a good indication that he loves Edwin back). ❤️

Do y’all ever think about how if Lu Guang finally breaks the time loop and saves Cheng Xiaoshi, the initial sense of accomplishment and peace will most likely be overcome with a lifetime of intense paranoia and anxiety because he’s deathly afraid that maybe it’s not actually over, maybe someone or something is still after them, or maybe there’s just a random tragic accident waiting to happen at any point in the future, or maybe he and Cheng Xiaoshi and Qiao Ling are destined to live a quiet life from now on, but the problem is that he’s never lived past this moment before and has no idea how to cope with simply living like a normal person and so the fear of the unknown slowly drives him mad? Because I do 😌
