There’s nothing wrong with them, in fact i like them a lot! it just feels like they became the game’s immediate OTPs because “natsuri is enemies to lovers and monika and satori are the ones left over”. yes i know that’s not why people ship them mostly but i can’t help but feel that

yes, i love natsuki and yuri’s arc so so much and i love monika and sayori’s dynamic it just baffles me that both ships are so popular. not complaining tho!

these. are single-handedly. my favs. and it baffles me so much that they’re not fan-favorites, not because i think everyone should follow my opinions, but genuinely because of dynamic

it’s very explicit that there’s the tiniest bit of segregation between natsuki with sayori and monika with yuri, with one pair being more “childish” while the other is more “mature”

and maybe that in itself is the reason why sayonika and natsuri are so popular, because it mixes it up! and i do love them for that! it makes for a great dynamic! but it feels so much more wholesome when the people match each other’s energies, which seems to be the case in yurika and sayuki!

For the ask game, Yukari?

Sexuality Headcanon: I imagine Yukari to be bisexual, I think.

Gender Headcanon: A friend on a Discord server I'm on has been calling Yukari "daddy" and ngl I kinda like it. Yukari mostly identifies as a woman but wouldn't mind being referred to as a dad.

A ship I have with said character: Yukayuyu. Yukayuyu. YUKAYUYU IS THE BEST! It's a pretty popular ship but it's still my OTP for Touhou as a whole. One of the few people Yukari is willing to display sincere empathy to, they're both so deliberately confusing that they only really "get" each other, (the sadness of Yukari failing to prevent Yuyuko from committing suicide but managing to pull strings to get her the position of queen of the Netherworld and never reincarnating). It's beautiful. And the fanart of it is even more so.

A BROTP I have with said character:

A NOTP I have with said character: Yukarei. I largely view Reimu as genuinely wanting to be as far away from Yukari as possible. But I also view it more like a mom-daughter relationship, with Yukari being pretty much the closest thing Reimu's had to a mother her entire life (until Kasen, and even she's too much of a tiger mom).

A random headcanon: Yukari has a list of people she genuinely hates. Tenshi is close to the top.

General Opinion over said character: I love Yukari Yakumo so damn much. She's my favorite character outside of Utsuho, Orin, Satori, and the Moriya Shrine family.

I love her cunning chessmaster personality, but also that she's lazy and spends much of her time asleep. I love that she's highly suggested to be a human psychology major from the future who time travelled to the past and became a youkai to make her dream of Gensokyo come true. I love how she genuinely loves Gensokyo more than anyone else yet everyone hates her besides a few close friends because she's so obnoxious and cryptic.

She's got awesome spellcards (though they could stand to be more purple, especially in the first two fighters). And I love her portals (and the eyes, I love them)

And of course Necrofantasia is still one of ZUN's greatest compositions ever. Especially the Magical Astronomy version.

“Our next guest made his movie debut just about four years ago in the award winning film, Eagle’s Land. The movie sparked his acting career and it hasn’t lost its peak since then. Please welcome, Yamagata Hayato!” At the call of his name, Yamagata walked out from backstage and waved to the cheering audience. The actor turned his attention to the host, Endoso Kazuo, and walked up to greet him.

“Yamagata-san, thank you for joining us this morning.” Endoso thanked after the two had sat down.

“Thank you for having me, Endoso-san. I’m glad to be here!”

“We’re glad to have you here. So first off, I want to congratulate you on your recent win.” Endoso started, the audience cheering as a picture of Yamagata appeared on the screen holding up the statue award. The actor gave a nod as thanks to the host. “You won the Best Actor in a Leading Role for Reflex Assassination.”

“Yeah, I was shocked when they announced my name. I really thought they’d announced the wrong winner and I mean, everyone saw the expression on my face- oh yeah there it is!” Yamagata laughed as a picture appeared of the shocked actor on the screen behind them.

“Did you really not expect to win?”

“NO! Did you see who I was up against?”

“Yes, one of the nominees was your former co-star from Eagle’s Land, Ushijima Wakatoshi and his movie, Secrets in the River.” Endoso read on his notecard.

“I thought Wakatoshi was going to win, I mean he’s a great actor and his movie was outstanding. And it did win Best Picture.” Yamagata chuckled as he shrugged at the last part.

“So what was that moment like when they announced you had won.”

“Like I said, I was shocked. I really wasn’t expecting to win because I was nominated together with incredulity talented actors, like Oikawa Tooru and Wakatoshi. The moment I saw who I was going up against, I turned to my manager and said, ‘Well, I lost! I’ll prepare my congratulation tweet when he beats me’.” Yamagata explained as the audience laughed.

“But when they announced my name, I thought there was an error. But nope, it was my name and my movie in the envelope.”

“You at least accepted the award, right?” Endoso asked.

“No I gave it to Wakatoshi, of course I accepted it.” Yamagata responded as everyone laughed again. “Even at the afterparty, Wakatoshi came up and congratulated me and said I deserved it.”

“So you and Ushijima-san are still talking, what about the rest of you and your Eagle’s Land co-stars?”

“Of yeah, we all still talk. I actually just saw Reon the other day and obviously I saw Wakatoshi at the award show and afterparty with Eita. Satori and I play online games until four in the morning, because we’re responsible adults.” The audience laughed again at the last comment. “We see each other a lot, when our schedules allow us to. But we try to get together once a month and have dinner and just hang out.”

“It’s great to hear that you all are still very close, even after the production of the movie, that sparked your careers, is over with.” Endoso commented as the actor nodded back. “So you’ve worked on movies for the past couple of years, but now you’re doing something different.”

“Yeah I’m working on a TV drama series called The Red Crown.” Yamagata nodded as he confirmed.

“What made you decide to try a TV drama?” Endoso asked with a curious tone in his voice.

“You know, I wanted to try something different and my manager called me one day about this audition for a TV show. He told me what it was about and at first, I wasn’t going to do it, because I typically do action or comedy stuff. But I told myself that I wanted to try something different and this was something different. So I auditioned and next thing I knew, I got the part of the Red King.” The actor explained.

“What can you tell us about The Red Crown?”

“I don’t want to give too much away, because I like to wait until the series has started to air, which it will be two Fridays from now at seven.” Yamagata winked. “But all I will say that it my character, the Red King, has to make some very important decisions that could either keep his kingdom alive or potentially make it fall apart.”

“Sounds exciting, I’m definitely watching that.” Endoso commented as he moved to his next card.

“So Yamagata-san, you’re still young. You’re twenty-two and you’ve already done some amazing things, such as winning your first solo award and raise an incredible amount of money for charity. Where do you see yourself in five or ten years?”

Yamagata blinked as he thought about that question, his eyebrows raising up and his lips sticking out. Wow, good question.

“That’s a tough one. Well, uh, I don’t know. For one, I hope I’m still acting in the next five or ten years. That’d be great. But you know, I hadn’t thought about this one certain event until two close friends did it. Uh, I hope to be married to my partner.” Yamagata explained, a fond smile crossing his face as he rubbed the back of his neck.

“Wait, you’re in a relationship?” Endoso asked after closing his dropped jaw. When did this happen? Even the audience was shocked by this, small gasps were heard, eyes widened and even jaws dropped too.

“I’ve been in a relationship for about a year now and I am incredibly happy.”

“Really now?”

“Yeah, she makes me very happy and treats me like a normal person. To her, I’m just Hayato and not Yamagata Hayato the famous actor. We cook together, we cuddle on the couch and watch movies, we go on dates. We bake at two in the morning and dance in the kitchen while we wait for whatever were making to cook, because why not?” Yamagata laughed.

“She sends me encouraging text messages while I’m out filming. She also gives me feedback when I’m working on my lines and gives suggestions on what type of tone I should use, or how to say a line a certain way. She also gives great back massages.”

“It sounds like she’s important to you. So does she work in the entertainment industry?”

“No and that’s what I wanted. I didn’t want to be with another famous person, I wanted to be with someone, who isn’t famous. She’s a graphic designer by the way and is incredibly talented!” Yamagata explained.

“So when will the world to get meet her?”

“Not anytime soon.” The actor winked. “She’s shy and isn’t ready to introduce herself just yet.”

“Well I know many people are looking forward to that day. Yamagata-san, thank you for joining us! The Red Crown premieres on March 2nd at 7pm.”

“I’m home!” Yamagata called out. It had been a couple of hours since his interview with Endoso Kazuo and he had a full day of promoting The Red Crown. It was early evening as he returned home and more than ready to have a relaxing evening with his beloved, Yachi Hitoka. The moment he walked in, he could smell something delicious in the air. The smell of beef, vegetables and curry filled his nostrils and made him realize he was hungry.

“Welcome home, Hayato!” He heard her call out as he removed his shoes. “How was your day?”

“Ugh, long.” He answered while walking into the kitchen to see Yachi at the stove, stirring up dinner. He walked over and hugged her from behind, getting a little squeak out of her (he also snuck in a kiss or two to her neck). “I missed you.”

“I missed you too. How’d the interview go?” She asked, planting a kiss on his cheek.

“Good, but long. How was work?” He asked, pulling away from her and leaned against the island countertop. He also plucked a few grapes from their vines and popped them into his mouth.

“It went well. Our new project was green lit and that means meetings for the next few days.” Yachi responded, but sighing at the end of the sentence. Yamagata chuckled, he felt the same way about meetings. “I don’t think I’ll be able to catch your interview tomorrow, so I’ll have it set to record.”

“I understand, babe. Don’t worry about it.” He smiled at her softly.

“B-but still!” She turned around and pouted, ugh her pouting face was just so cute! Yamagata couldn’t take it. “I enjoy watching all your interviews. I love watching you talk about all the movies you’re in. And now the TV show that you’re in, which I’m getting SUPER excited about! I have a countdown on my phone until it airs!”

Yachi pulled out her phone and pulled up a countdown app, showing that the premier of The Red Crown was just 14 days, 08 hours, 35 minutes and 12 seconds aways. The background was of Yamagata taking a selfie in his costume (that also included the red crown). Yamagata chuckled, blushing slightly at the image she used as the background for her countdown. He was in his messy dressing room that was dark; the only lighting came from the vanity mirror that set a warm tone to the serious expression on his face.

“I know you’re excited, just two more weeks and you can go on and on about it.” Yamagata chuckled again as he grabbed the plates. “Are you still planning that premiere party?”

“Yes, indeed! I just finished the what type of food will be at the party and I’m starting to gather everything. Oh and Shirabu-san sent me a text, saying he’ll be able to make it! So all your friends will be able to make it!” Yachi announced, clapping her hands.

“Terushima probably texted that for him.” He chuckled, bringing the rice over to the table.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if it was him.” She chuckled, turning off the stove as the curry finished cooking. “Okay, dinner is ready!”

“Alright, I’m starving!”

“You’re always hungry.”

“I’m a growing boy!”

Yachi giggled as she patted his cheek and said, “Yes, you are still a growing twenty-two year old boy.”

With dinner finished, the dishes washed and leftovers put away for tomorrow’s lunch, the couple retreated to the living room for a relaxing evening. Wrapping her arms around Yamagata’s waist, Yachi leaned against him as the two watched a comedy series (which happened to star Tendou Satori). The jokes were corny and puns were thrown here and there, but it never failed to get a chuckle or giggle out of the two of them. This happened to be one of Yachi’s favorite shows because of the humor, Yamagata thought it was cheesy.

But he did like cheese.

During a commercial break, Yamagata’s phone rang. Yachi looked up as the actor pulled out the ringing device to see, who was calling.

Jin

“Aw honey, I’m so proud of you. You came home with your phone.” Yachi smiled, actually surprised that her boyfriend had his phone with him. Yamagata stuck his tongue out at her while he answered his phone.

“Hey what’s up, Jin?”

“Oh, you actually answered. I had a message already written out-”

“Okay, yeah, I got it. I lose my phone a lot.” The actor cut the other off, making both Jin and Yachi laugh. Well, he wasn’t lying. One time he left his phone on a movie set and the director found it, shaking his head because he had immediately known who it belonged to.

“Yeah a lot. But I’m calling because I’ve been in this crazy writing mood and ended up writing a whole series of movies.”

Jin was a screenwriter and was one of the writer’s that wrote Eagle’s Land. Jin befriended all the actors in the movie and had been close with them all ever since. And every time when he finished a script for a movie, he was eager to ask if they’d be interested in taking part.

“Oh really? That’s great to here! How many movies is the series going to have?”

“Three scripts are finished and I’m about halfway done with the fourth one.” Yamagata’s eyes widened. Four scripts?!

“Whoa, you have been in a writing kick.”

“Yeah, I know,” the screenwriter chuckled nervously. “It suddenly happened when I was on vacation with Yumi.” Referring to the time Jin went on vacation with his girlfriend, Yumi.

“Oh well that makes plenty of sense. Hope Yumi wasn’t pissed that you were working while on vacation.” Yamagata laughed.

“Actually she helped me plan the first script, because she was interested in the idea.” Jin laughed.”So I’m calling because I wanted to know if you’d be interested in being part of the movie. I’ve already called Wakatoshi and he said him and Eita would be interested in taking part. Reon said he’ll let me know after he looked at his schedule and I’m about to call Satori after I hang up with you.”

Yamagata raised an eyebrow while he leaned forward, Yachi watched in wonder.

“Are you getting the original cast back together from Eagle’s Land?” If he was right, then after Tendou it would be Shirabu, Kawanishi, and then Goshiki.

“Yeah. I was thinking about getting everyone back together because you know, Washijo-san is talking about retirement, but wants to do one last massive project. He said either a movie series or something else, I can’t remember what it was. Maybe a documentary?” Jin responded, trying to think about what the other thing was.

Washijo Tanji, a multi award-winning director with tons of hit movies under his belt (all of which were also award winning movies). Eagle’s Land was the first movie he directed with a cast of unheard of actors, all of who he saw potential in and gave them their roles. People said that this would be the end of Washijo’s career and that Eagle’s Land would fail miserably. But every single person was proven wrong when Eagle’s Land became number one during the first weekend. And stayed at number one for the next few weeks. It became one of Washijo’s best works since The Maroon Swan, one of the first movies he directed when he had started his career back in the 70’s. That movie was what launched his career and since then, he’d been unstoppable.

Because he gave Yamagata and his seven co-stars, a chance when no one else would and their careers launched. To be honest, even though Washijo was stern and called a demon at times, Yamagata looked up to him as a Father figure (since Yamagata’s Father had never been in his life). Hearing Washijo was wanting to do one more massive project before going into retirement, Yamagata chuckled as a smirk crossed his face.

“I’m in. So what’s the idea for this new movie series?”

Yachi smiled up at him softly, she could tell how excited he was about this new project. And she was just as excited for him.

After a long two years of filming, traveling to different prefectures and even countries, and post production; tonight was the night. Tonight was the premiere of Mission File: Code X; a four movie series about a newly formed spy group, learning to work together while going on dangerous missions. All eight actors had been promoting the first movie like crazy and were continuing to do so for the next few weeks. They all had a lot of faith that this would do well. Washijo said, that he believed this might be their best work yet.

But tonight was the night, they got to see their hard work come together in the form of a two hour movie.

Yamagata was nearly finished getting ready as the time grew closer and closer for him to leave. He adjusted his blazer for the fifth time, combed his hair back and sprayed on his favorite cologne. He flattened out his white turtleneck shirt under the black blazer and uprighted the hedgehog pinned on his blazer (inside joke among his co-stars). Movie premieres always made him excited, even if it was just a movie. But something about them just made him excited! Plus they got free popcorn and goodies at the end.

“Nearly ready?” He heard Yachi ask from the entrance.

“Yup! Nearly ready. Is the car here?”

“Mmmhmm.” She answered. He nodded as he made the last few adjustments. “You look just as handsome when you’re only wearing boxers.”

“And I’d prefer to be in those now, but I don’t think that’d be appropriate for tonight.” Yamagata chuckled. “Alright, I think I’m done. What do you-”

He turned to face Yachi, who he expected to be in sweatpants, a t-shirt and slippers. But instead of seeing her in that, she was wearing a short, maroon coloured dress, that fell a little bit over mid-thigh. Its hem was adored with a beaded lace pattern as well as the long sleeves. Her hair parted parted to the right and her makeup done. She looked stunning smiling shyly at him, as Yamagata’s mouth hung open.

“H-Hitoka?”

“If you’re going to finish that sentence and asking me what my plans are for tonight. My plans are to be your plus one at the premiere of your new movie.” Yachi responded as she walked up to him.

“You...actually want to come to a premiere with me and walk on the red carpet?” He asked, stunned that she actually wanted to go. In the past, she’d declined the offer due to the overwhelming environment that premieres were. On top of that, she didn’t feel ready to face the cameras. Although Yamagata didn’t like going to premieres alone, he respected her decision and always said she was welcome to come anytime.

“Yes and yes. As much as I am nervous about going to this big premiere, I want to be there to support you. And I want to continue to do so in the future, so why not start now?” She responded. He smiled at her and gave a nod.

“I’d be honored to have such a stunning beauty like you by my side.” Yamagata responded, taking her hand and kissing the top of it. “And you look just as beautiful when you’re in sweatpants.”

“Oh you.” She giggled.

Yachi had never seen so many flashes go off at once until she and Yamagata stepped forward. She could have sworn she was going to go blind after seeing all those cameras go off. Yamagata whispered into her ear that she did an amazing job and kissed her cheek, some people saw that moment and tried to capture it. But the next couple came up and everyone else was more focused on them.

“So what’s next? Are we going into the building?” Yachi asked as they walked away from the flashing cameras.

“Not yet. I still need to do an interview or two it looks like.” Yamagata answered as he looked ahead, seeing Tendou and Goshiki being interviewed and Reon and Kawanishi leaving an interview. “Alright, ready?”

“Ready as I’ll ever be.” She smiled as they were lead to the interview.

“Yamagata-san! Welcome! And who is this beautiful lady you have with you tonight?” The interviewer asked.

“This is the love of my life: Yachi Hitoka.” Yamagata responded with the biggest smile on his face.

Karasuma-Senpai’s birthday is tomorrow! I should stop by and...- wait that would mean that I have to visit Tamakoma Branch and the possibility of bumping into (*Osamu comes to mind*) *shivers* he’s Karasuma-Senpai’s current *frustrates* Ahhhhhhhhh! I’m so jealous! Why can’t I just accept it!?

Yuma: (walking next to Raijinmaru with Yotaro sitting on top of her)

“Sōdesu ka, I think I understand now.”

Yotaro: *grins* (puts thumb up)

“It is a part of being human! Yuuma!”

“Yuuma, you believe that I can fight don’t you? Raijinmaru and I are like wild lions-we- Yuuma, Yuuma… are you listening to me, Yuuma?”

Chika: *through earset*

“Osamu-Kun! I’m coming to your location!”

Osamu: *panics*

“Trigger On.”

“I hadn’t seen this model in the longest, does this mean that Aftokrator is on the move?”

“Gee, don’t you ever know when to just use your Ace in battle when necessary, Mikumo?”

Osamu: *feels awful*

“Kitora-San… it’s not that I don’t want to use Kuga…”

“Well, Ace’s are Aces’ for a reason, you should know that better than anyone especially since Karasuma-Senpai has taken you as his pupil, don’t disappoint him! don’t-

Mole Mod: *regenerates*

ATTACKS HER (while speaking)

Kitora: *coughs out blood*

“K...Kitora-San!!!!”

Yuma: *attacks the Mole Mod*

“An even NEWER model, clever.”

Osamu: *GASP*

“Kuga, Y..You...You came back… I didn’t order you to come back- where’s Yotaro and Raijinmaru!? I could have handled this on my own- plus I-”

“You’re a sucker for those in need, Osamu… You would’ve gotten hurt if I didn’t return… Don’t worry about Yotaro and Raijinmaru, Jin-San is taking them back to Tamadoka’s Base.”

*lifts Kitora up*

“So, what do you want me to do with this thing?”

*pouting face*

Osamu: *Enlarges Eyes*

“This is not the time to be joking Kuga! Kitora-San got injured in her real body! She needs to be hospitalized right away!”

Yuma: *looks at her*

“Sōdesu ka?”

“Yes, Yes, Osamu said that before. Now, that I have delivered her- my part here is over.”

1. Favorite youtuber/kind of videos on YouTube?

I really love short animation vids, they’re so beautiful! Also, ANYTHING musical. I love musicals. I like to see some AMV’s from time to time, but it tends to exhaust me, so I don’t do it a lot even though I love them (I’m really bad with flashes- like, don’t ever take me to a club. I will be outside the minute the lights begin to flash because that stuff makes me sick).

2. Favorite perfume?

Probably Chanel 05. I never wear any perfume myself, but my mom has a bottle of Chanel 05 and uses it once a blue moon (haha, like my username). But when she does it’s always for a fancy party, so I grew up associating that smell with my mom’s most beautiful suit jacket (which, to me, was kinda like a princess gown because it had these little birds sewed into the fabric and it was magical). It’s a really nice memory! 

3.Country in Latin America you would like to visit?

I’d love to visit a lot of countries there, but if I had to choose one, I’d probably say Cuba, because my grandparents went there a lot and my parents have (consequently) very good memories of it. Also, I’m told I have some relatives there. 

4. Weird thing you like to eat and everyone judges you about it?

Probably ketchup on my pannekoeken. Pannekoeken are a Dutch dish- the closest to it would probably be a pancake, but pancake are much thicker and puffier compared to pannekoeken and a lot blander (the batter is different). It looks like this:

5. Without limits and effort, how would you like to change or put into your room?

A bay window. That’s my dream! A bay window with a window seat where I can read! :D 

6. Your favorite memory with family (or friends, or s/o)?

Going to Paris with my mom was amazing. It was a life-changing journey for me, to be honest. 

7. That thing in your room that you keep wondering what’s still doing there or why you have it?

The attachments of the balcony flower boxes! 

8. Your most ridiculous fear (at anytime of your life)?

When I was about seven, we moved to a new house, and the rooms were too big. As a result, I was scared as hell of the dark for years. It’s an old house, so everything would creak as well. The most traumatic thing that happened was probably that I had nighmares- awful ones- and I was used to calling out for my mom and dad then. But in the new house, it was too far away, even if I could get myself (super afraid and throat closing because of it) to scream on top of my lungs. My parents wouldn’t hear me. At the time, I didn’t know how to tell my parents this, so they never did anything about it because they didn’t know there was a problem. 

Long story short, I slept with lights on until I was fourteen. 

9. Favorite piece (or three pieces) of merchandise you own?

I have this gigantic Harry Potter and the Halfblood Prince poster! Back when our cinema was still small (it moved by now and merged with several others) you could ask them about the posters after the movie was out of office, and if they had any left, you would get them for free! I was so proud of getting my hands on that one! 

10. Habits on other people you can’t stand?

Probably hypocritical, but I can’t stand smart-alec behavior. One thing that’s a pet peeve is people using complex words they don’t know the meaning of- though I do have fun memories of that one. In grade school I sat next to this kid who was REALLY annoying (no, it wasn’t just me who thought that- he got so annoying at one time that our teacher actually taped him to his chair so he wouldn’t bother anyone- best (and most peaceful) hour all year!) and kept fighting with me. But every time I got mad, he would get mad too, and then he’d use words HE didn’t understand, but I DID. It was hilarious, if exhausting.

OHOHOHOHOH! Yes! This is one of my top OTPs and thank you so much for requesting it!

1: “ Give me a chance. ”

“Hey Kiyoomi, there’s that guy you’re so hung up on!”

The wing spiker’s head immediately shot up, eyes widened just the slightest as he watched an all-too familiar redhead from across the court. He swallowed hard, trying to gain enough nerve to approach the middle blocker from Shiratorizawa.

His teammates all gave him shit for his not-so-secret crush on Tendou, tried to ask him why he fell for Tendou of all people, but Kiyoomi couldn’t explain it. Ever since his first match against the powerhouse team from Miyagi, Kiyoomi had been intrigued by Tendou Satori, and he was more than certain that the redhead knew how he felt.

At least, if the stares and smirks Tendou had been giving him ever since their team had arrived were any indication, he most definitely knew how Kiyoomi was feeling.

His fingers clenched and unclenched at his sides, trying to force himself to go over there, to get Tendou alone so that they could talk.

“Just go over there,” came Motoya’s exasperated groan. “All this pining is driving me insane!”

Sakusa felt his cheeks warm and gave a jerky nod, forcing the first step across the court, then the next until he found himself standing directly behind the object of his affections. But now what? He couldn’t make himself open his mouth to say a single word, could only stare at the back of his head.

The pinch server, Semi something, finally noticed Kiyoomi and murmured in Tendou’s ear. The middle blocker stiffened before quickly whirling around and giving Kiyoomi a long look up and down.

He grinned. “Well, well, well, what’ve we got here?”

Oh. And Kiyoomi liked the smile Tendou was giving him. It was one that held all sorts of promise in it, made Kiyoomi go weak in his knees and he forced himself to swallow. “Ah… Tendou-san?”

“That’s the name!”

“Right…” He cleared his throat. “I was wondering,” his fingers began to play with themselves out of nervousness. “If I could speak to you alone?”

That seemed to be the last thing Tendou expected, blinking wide eyes once before he glanced over his shoulder and waved his teammates off. “Well, you got my full, undivided attention, Sakusa-chan! What’s on your mind?”

The words refused to come out and Sakusa was beginning to lose his nerve, but he had to just get it out! “Tendou-san,” he sighed. “I… I like you and I want you to give me a chance!”

There was silence for several long moments before Tendou finally drawled out: “A chance at what exactly, Kiyoomi-chan?”

Sakusa stared hard at the grinning redhead. Satori’s hands were planted firmly to his hips as he stared up at the wing spiker. “I… Well, what I meant by that is… Umm…”

Tendou barked out a laugh before slapping a hand against the second-year’s shoulder. “Alright, I’ll bite. Who put you up to it? Was it Semisemi? Ooh or maybe one of your teammates??”

“N-No… That is…”

“Aww, c’mon. Don’t tell me you actually think you like me? I mean, if it were a prank it’d be more believable.” Sakusa’s forehead furrowed as he frowned. “But really, I just don’t see a guy like you, actually coming onto a guy like me.”

“It’s true,” Sakusa finally snapped, leaning forward and firmly putting himself in Tendou’s personal space. “I’ve admired you ever since I was a first year, and at first I thought it was your talent as a blocker that I was attracted to.” He took a deep breath before continuing. “But the truth is, I’m attracted to you. Just you.”

Satori gaped at the younger boy, looking quite comical.

“I like all of you, Tendou-san, and I would very much appreciate you thinking about my confession. Th-Thank you!” He quickly bowed and turned in order to make a beeline back to his own team, quite sure he had made a complete fool of himself.

“Hey! You can’t just confess to a guy like that without letting me respond!”

Sakusa sucked in a breath, bracing himself for the rejection he knew was coming. He managed to make himself turn back around to find Satori’s trademark grin on his face.

“Whaddya say after this game, you treat me to some ice cream and I’ll listen more to all of the qualities you find so endearing about me?”

Wait… Was he serious? He was waiting for any indication that it was a cruel joke, but Tendou kept staring, as though waiting for an answer. All Kiyoomi could do was nod his head. “Yes, yes! I can do that!”

“Tendou! Get your ass over here!”

“But Semisemi, I’ve got a date! Don’t hate just because you’re a little prickly and guys find you intimidating!”

“YOU- I’LL SHOW YOU PRICKLY!”

As Tendou cackled madly, running to join his team, Sakusa couldn’t help the stupid smile that stretched across his face. A date. An actual, true date…

And there posed the next quandary: Would it be considered rude if he wore his mask on his date?

Meanwhile, in Newcrest, my OTP is getting along well! Alice actually got to attend her job for once, and Victor spent much of his day noodling on the piano, calling friends, catching a new kind of fish at the local pond (tip: snapdragons are good for catching koi!), and --

Watching his cow plant finally grow to full size! I like it -- a worthy successor to the Sims 2 version. Alice actually adores the thing -- she kept queuing up interactions to play with it when she got home. I guess that’s a good way to keep it from eating the neighbors, though I worry that it might lead to it eating ALICE. Funnily enough, though, when Victor tried to feed it, it refused the meat. Possibly because Victor didn’t even unwrap it, but -- do I just have to wait for the birthday cake lure to come out? I was hoping to pre-empt that to save any stupid NPCs wandering around. . .well, I guess if it happens, it happens.

Other thing of note -- had them try for a baby for the first time! We’ve had two weddings already -- time to start having some kids! I have no idea if it took or not (I don’t know if there’s a sound cue or not like in Sims 2) -- I guess we’ll find out the next time I play the house. Hopefully pregnancy won’t be too hard on Alice. . .

However, next time -- Jennifer talks shit while Marty gets fit! Don’t miss it!

OMG IDOL TORI?! 🤩 I actually had this idea in my head a while ago too omgggg like imagine him getting discovered by idk makoto or something (bc I think him and TERU would be besties if they just yk talked) anyways so imagine he's like a lil underground idol after he drops out of hs or after they've graduated and the psychkers are too busy with their own lives and leave him out of their futures theyve distanced themselves and dont contact him so they have no idea what hed been up to and due to makotos strict idol training regimen he keeps tori locked up in the studio practicing every day so he's pooped and is forbidden from having a social life until his idol debut and everyone is fucking surprised bc nobody fucking recognizes him at all bc he goes by another name (an idol name) and with makeup and a hairstylist he actually looks so gorge and unrecognizable and he has a slightly different more pleasing personality than in hs. (His personality is the same but yk he puts up a front for being an idol bc u have to be fake). BUT IMAGINE HES LIKE DEBUTING IN A PAIR OR LIKE HIS DEBUT IS LIKE SINGING A DUET WITH KOKO BC SHE ALSO OBVI BECAME AN IDOL BC MAKOTO AND SOCIETAL PRESSURE ETC SO HE BECOMES BIG BC OF THIS AND OBVI TERU IS STILL FRIENDS WITH HER FRIENDS FROM HS AND INVITES THEM AND THEN WHEN THEY COME TO THE LIL CONCERT THEYRE LIKE HMM WHY IS THAT IDOL SO FAMILIAR AND THEN LATER THEY FIND OUT ITS TORI AND ARE LIKE OMFG WTF HOW???

Alright, a au when toritsuka becomes a singer but not as a teen tori NEEDS to grow a lot so I remembered a fic it's just when the psichics grow old so yea but in the fic the other psichics (but reita) same together I was thinking like reita becomes a singer and he has a concert (or something else) but he does't want to miss meeting his old friends so he sends a letter to saiki or someone to go to the contest so the other psichics and they see his singing (reita's VC does singing) and their like 😮😮😶😶 so after the concert the psichics talk to him like "sir you had a BAD singing voice" reita "yeaaa, but am a singer now😅"
