baby daddy simon who dated you for a year before you got pregnant, you’d gone through most of the pregnancy alone, him being deployed 3 weeks after you found out and gone until the very last month of it. the both of you had tried at keeping the relationship together, but the distance and loneliness got to you, you’d been fine when it was just you but now with baby, you can’t let the father go in and out of their life. he wasn’t very happy with the decision to end your relationship, in his mind you were together forever now, tied together by this beautiful thing you two created, he didn’t even want children before you told him you were expecting but his whole world view changed when he realized that he not only had you to protect but a baby as well.
but you’d moved out against his wishes, finding a small flat you like and making it home for you and baby. he would come over sometimes, when he could, and spend some time with baby but honestly he felt more like some glorified uncle, would be convinced he was nothing to this child until he saw those brown eyes staring back at him, the ones that are so completely his, and he comes to the conclusion that this isn’t gonna work.
he starts small, coming over once a week instead of every other weekend, takes the two of you out for dinner instead of letting you cook or ordering in. stays late enough that you offer him the spare bed in the guest room, even with the distance you’ve put between yourselves, you can’t help but care for him, knowing nobody else will.
then he puts more pressure on you, making sure you see just how valuable he is, taking night shift feedings and waking up early with baby when they’re fussy. he offers to take baby for the night so you can go out with your friends, do things you haven’t been able to since baby’s arrival, even pays for a spa day for you to really relax. he stocks your fridge, full of the snacks you love and a bottle of wine for the hard nights. he buys and sets up new decor in the house, finally gets you the pretty white vanity and a new washing machine that doesn’t squeak. he really just does what he considers ‘husband duties’, things that he should have been doing this whole time.
and when you don’t budge on the separation, he goes nuclear, “no, love, i haven’t seen your birth control pills”, “look how cute this baby is, remember when ours was that small, sweetheart”, “you’re so stressed darling, let me help you” which basically means you end up getting rawdogged within an inch of your life, condom long forgotten, one of simons hands held over your mouth to muffle the sounds you’re making. he just hopes he’d tracked your cycle right, that you’re actually ovulating, because you can’t possible refuse his ring after having two of his babies right? you wouldn’t do that to him, would you pet?

bush enthusiast vi… mhm mhm 🫡 cw: nsfw utc. wlw. swéaríng. cúnņılınġus. pet names (cupcake, babe, etc.). unshaven reader if u couldn’t tell. this woman’s a múnch and i’m dying on that hill. not proofread.
to say vi was surprised was an understatement.
inside, she was almost distraught. first you were making out on your couch, then her hand slipped under your shirt and that’s when it started to get heated. she was kissing down the valley of your breasts, feeling you up, all the way down to your stomach and right before she could reach her heaven between your legs—
“vi, wait,” you stopped her. your hand, previously cradling the back of her head, grasped slightly at her hair, tugging ever so slightly at the strands.
she looks up at you with the most confused gaze. you’ve never stopped her from going down on you before. had she gone too quick? had she made you uncomfortable, hurt you? there were a million questions running through her head. but, only one came out.
“what’s wrong, cupcake?” she asked, palms pressing into your thighs. she was in between your legs, calves thrown over her broad shoulders. she never tried to deny it was her favorite position. she could die with a smile if it meant being buried between your legs.
“you… don’t want me to…?” her breath was right on your pelvis as she looked up at you, almost like a confused puppy. “i mean, not gonna make you, you just— never say no, yknow?”
“i know, i—“ you blush a bit at being called out like that. she wasn’t lying, you never said no to her eating you out. not her fault her tongue game was diabolical, to say the least.
“it’s just…” you paused, caressing the back of her head slightly as you wonder how to phrase it, unsure of how she would react. until you said to hell with it… you’ve been dating for long enough. surely she would understand, right?
“i haven’t shaved,” you whispered, almost so quiet she couldn’t hear it.
she blinks up at you a few times, the silence stretching out between you. you can’t look at her, embarrassment growing.
“so-“
“so what?”
she cuts you off before you can finish your sentence, squeezing your thighs a little tighter.
“you think i care about that, babe?” she chuckled. it wasn’t a mocking sound, but it was genuinely amused. like the mere idea of her not pleasuring you because you haven’t shaved was ridiculous. because, to be fair, it was.
“come on. i spent years in prison. you think i shaved back then?” she hooked a thumb under the hem of your underwear, not letting you protest as she shuffles your thighs a bit so she can pull them off and be met with your already wet cunt—just waiting for her. she kisses your clit, open-mouthed and messy and needy. her nose is pressed against the hair you tried to hide, shamelessly, as she licks a long stripe from your swollen nub and down your slit, briefly licking your slick entrance. she pulls away only for a second, just to speak, breath hot against your exposed cunt:
“you’re fuckin’ crazy if you think a little hair’s gonna stop me from eating this pretty fucking pussy.”

Arabization was a cultural and linguistic thing you dolt. The average Palestinian has ancestry predating the Bronze Age:
What, because they don’t speak their Bronze Age languages they deserve to be ethnically cleansed by Europeans? Israeli settlers arriving from Europe didn’t speak Hebrew either, they spoke Yiddish and a European language from wherever they were from.
And no, I didn’t say they had no ties, but European Jews that haven’t lived in Palestine for a thousand years do not have the right to displace millions of people to make an ethnostate. Anyone anywhere has the right to immigrate into any nation - but to displace who is already there through terrorism, war, ethnic cleansing?
Palestinian Jews were living happily in Palestine, as Palestinian citizens. Why was that not enough?
The fuckin Nazis had blood ties to central and Eastern Europe, did that give lebensraum legitimacy? No, and so Israeli lebensraum has no basis either.
You’re delusional if you think blood ties is what people hate Israel for. Egypt wasnt villainized for occupying Gaza because they didnt starve and bomb the population constantly.
You supporting Palestinian right to return is meaningless when no Israeli motion has ever supported Palestinian right to return since 1948. It is explicit policy to deny this forever and completely.
Meanwhile Hamas has called for a two state solution and their conflict is a completely secular one. These are the principles that they ran for public office with, and it’s codified in their charter today.
Israeli history is one of brutal war crimes and constant ethnic cleansing - and then hiding behind religion when people take up arms to stop them. Hamas was originally formed because of the Sabra and Shatila massacres, the IDF promised the PLO and the Americans that they would not invade west Beirut during peace negotiations, but did anyways, and then ordered Phalangist militias to genocide Palestinian refugee camps full of mostly women and children while the IDF locked down the perimeter and shot anyone who left.
The PLO men had left to go to Qatar to participate in peace negotiations during this ceasefire, and Israel broke all of that to enact genocide. Why wouldn’t people hate the Israeli state after this, especially when this isn’t even out of character? Every group opposing Israel is Israel’s own fucking fault for being a genocidal settler nation. You cannot start your nation on a ethnic cleansing of some 750,000 people, continue to do that unabated until today, and then claim to be the victim. Israel’s war on the indigenous ecosystem would be enough to cause armed resistance, let alone all of war crimes and human rights violations. Yeah, a right and just nation really just obliterates close to a million native trees that are older their nation.

hello author!
I’m a totally different, definitely not the anon who sent the previous post!
So…out of curiosity…if fd reader was filling in for robin ( I assume this is pre- red robin-or would reader act as a double for red as well?)
and they got sucked into another universe…
what kind of shenanigans would occur?
also while I am definitely not the previous anon, I’d like to mention that the fd series has a new film coming out next year it’s a little different!
A/n: sorry kinda messy because I got my wisdom teeth removed

---
Getting dropped through a portal and landing in the middle of a fight isn’t great. Fortunately, you're dressed for the occasion since you’re filling in as Robin. Unfortunately, your comms are dead. Fully dead. Dead enough that there isn't even a trace of static to be heard.
It could have been worse, you think as you help Nightwing (alternate universe? Probably alternate universe Nightwing, he doesn't seem to recognize you) clear out a group of goons. At least you're in Gotham and at least you didn't land directly in the path of the batmobile while someone was driving it or something.
Nightwing is wary of you and your supposed help, at least, until you get a moment a tell him the code for alternate universe situations because of course, there’s a code for everything.
(Code for time travel, code for alternate universes, code specifically for family, etc, etc. You leave all those codes up to Batman to decide.)
He doesn’t totally relax, obviously, but he’s willing to take down all the goons before focusing on you.
You're clearly bat-trained, have bat-gear and would look like a carbon copy of Robin if Tim was currently Robin and not Damian. It isn't difficult to believe you are a dimension traveller (you aren't the first and likely won't be the last either), especially with the obvious portal you hopped out of.
And well, things should be okay if you’ve got the family code tagged along with the standard code, right?
Either way, you and Nightwing end up going to the batcave. There’s some back and forth banter, you ask about who’s around and find out that it’s basically everyone you remember from the comics in their own role. Their universe is a bit ahead of yours it seems.
“D’s not allowed to be Robin until he’s more than 4 apples tall,” you tell Nightwing. By 4 apples tall, you mean 4 apples on the height chart you bought to mark Damian’s growth.
"4 apples tall," he mouths, delighted.
Dick had reacted the same way when you put the chart up. Damian had been livid.
The batcave is every bit as dark and cave-y as you remember it to be. Batman is there. So is Red Robin. And Spoiler. It's still early in the night so everyone else is probably still doing patrol.
Being interrogated (kind of) is interesting. It would be more effective if you hadn't seen similar songs and dances hundreds of times. Plus, Batman isn't being too harsh about it. It might be because you're Robin, because you're family.
The edges of your domino mask are peeling off. It always feels like you never put enough glue.
Well, you might as well reveal yourself. With the retrieval of the glue solvent, removal of the mask and a quick run of your hand through your hair, you could consider yourself off duty.
“Are you a girl???”
“Congrats on your top surgery.”
“Congrats on your bottom surgery.”
Hilarious. You laugh softly and ask, “Do you guys think I’m Tim?”
Something discordant ripples through everyone. You thought it was obvious you weren't Tim but well... You smile and hide your teeth.
"I'm (Y/n) Drake, nice to meet you."
You’re pretty sure that your universe will figure some way to get you back so you tell Batman that if you haven’t disappeared by the time 48 hours have passed, he should probably contact a magic user to get you back.
No one is going to bed apparently. It’s Sunday tomorrow. They’re not technically the family you know so you don’t say anything about pulling an all nighter.
There are some fascinating follow-up one-on-one conversations afterwards once they get past the "Tim's older sibling who doesn't exist".
Dick mentions it’s a bit odd to see you as Robin. You’re technically the oldest person to have ever been Robin as everyone grew out of it (died in it, got fired, etc) and got their own costume before they hit 18.
You point out it's not really your costume and that you only really fill in when you have to. He tells you you're still part of the legacy. You're still Robin. You... don't really know what to say to that.
When he asks you how you got involved, you shrug and say you just followed Tim. "He's my brother. What was I supposed to do? Leave him?"
Anyways, interesting conversations between two people who have been eldest daughter syndrome-d. Maybe things are better in your universe where you're there to ease the emotional load of the family but it shouldn't have been your responsibility. It shouldn't have been Dick's either.
You end up telling Jason that the Joker is dead in your universe. More specifically, that he "had gone missing a bit after Red Hood arrived in Gotham". You don't say exactly how it happened but he can probably infer that you had something to do with it.
The two of you probably bond a bit over your paper thin morals. After all, when you aren't playing at being Robin, you don't have to follow Bruce's moral code either.
Bruce is okay. The one here isn't horrendously terrible or anything but there were probably more bumps along the way. You straight up tell him to start seeing a therapist. His nest of birdies are his children first before they are his vigilante partners. He should make that clear before he makes another blunder, fails to apologize, and has to try to mend his relationships again.
He asks if you’re one of his children. You laugh until your ribs hurt.
Damian asks why you (and your Tim) are still Robin. You’re reasonably confused. Dick had informed him that your Damian is with the Waynes already yet has not been made Robin.
You aren’t exactly aware of how this Damian (or comic Damian for that matter) became Robin but you just tell him, “There’s no rush to pass on the mantle. Besides, we’re a couple years behind you guys.”
"You coddle him." "He's literally like, 9."
He'll figure it out someday once he gets past the being raising in an assassin cult thing. You ask what pets he has to derail him.
Things are easier with Cass, as they always have been. She takes one look at you and definitively declares "Family". You smile, ruffle her hair, the same as you would with your Cass, and she drags you away to talk to Steph.
Steph cracks a joke about your presence evening out the gender ratio in the household. She's also on the phone with Barbara so you say a quick hi before being swept into the next conversation.
You and Tim. Tim and you.
It’s been years since Jack and Janet Drake have died. Years upon years since Tim was a little boy waiting by the phone for his parents to call and tell him they’re coming home. He thinks some part of him still longs for them, despite it all.
And now, there is you. His sibling who never existed.
You remind him of his mother, of Janet. You’re as sharp as he remembers her being but you’re so terribly warm and patient and casually affectionate in ways he still isn't used to. Perhaps you're how Janet would've been like if she had loved him more.
You and Tim probably have the most to talk about out of everyone, especially about the early days from before he became Robin. Throughout it, he finds out just how much you've involved yourself in the other Tim's life. There's something sad in your expression when the two of you talk.
He hasn't needed someone to protect or raise him for a very long time but still, it must have been nice to have you, to have someone to trust and love him unconditionally.
For what it's worth, you tell him you're proud of him. Even if you don't exist in this universe, he's still your itty bitty tiny little brother.
Something bubbles in his chest. He thinks it might just be jealousy for the version of him that has your unconditional love. The version that has everything that you could give him.
Alfred brings down food for you to eat. Despite the fact that you don't belong, he insists on calling you "Master (Y/n)". Some things never change you suppose.
Everyone notes that it's very very strange to see you be so familiar with everyone when none of them know you. It's like they're all stumbling over a step in their life, fumbling in their interactions with you, uncertain about what to do.
Duke wanders into the Batcave in the morning and finds you at the batcomputer, still wearing your Robin costume. You get one look at him and go, "Ah they didn't tell you about me did they."
You give him a quick rundown ("I'm from an alternate universe, yeah I showed up last night, I'm Tim's older sibling, I'm only a placeholder Robin, no I don't really know you but I think I've seen you around in my universe before") before he leaves for day-patrol.
He's cool. You'll keep an eye out for him when you get back.
True to your expectation, less than a day after your arrival, a portal opens up beside you. Everyone's in the batcave and are able to see you off as Tim (your Tim) reaches out to bring you home.
You're wrapped up in hugs immediately upon return. So clingy, you think as you say, "I'm home."
Tim, who's buried by your side, mumbles, "Welcome home."
As for you filling in as Red Robin later on, it might be better to discuss it chronologically with Batman getting lost in the timestream and the no good very bad follow up conversation about who should wear the cowl that somehow ends up with you filling in as Nightwing.

I’m scrolling through your culinary crimes and must wonder: how are you (and/or your tastebuds) still alive at this point?
Though, thanks for answering the question of how we got some of humanity’s recipes in the first place: some crazy people went “well, why not?”
I used people plural because I can’t imagine it went well for some of them, someone had to be the one to find the poisonous stuff.
Ok so fun thing, I have far worse sense of taste than the average person. Not that I can’t taste or anything, but that my sense of taste is somewhat muted. I have made food that both my twin and I can eat. My preferred level of seasoning is, and I qoute; “unpalatable to the average person.” My most noteable showings of this is how I season curry perfect for me but to my twin the flavors are perfumy, and my preferred level of popcorn salt seasoning is inedible to other folks. So your answer is my tastebuds haven’t been fully alive for quite some time but they’re alive enough to experience The Horrors™️.
The wildest food choices I think I’ve done is take shots of ghost pepper hot sauce every other week for like 2.5 years, that is the one that messed me up the most. I’m honored to be put in the same category who discover new and interesting recipes experimenting on various flavors. Creations possibly becoming lifelong food staples, whilst I make burger vodka and loaf after loaf of Powerade bread. I guess I’m doing something good because I’ve been DM’d by multiple pastry chefs/teachers who’ve said that they wish their students could be as adventitious as me.
The joy of being a very adventurous eater, someone who loves cooking, and having free will and a lack of impulse control, all mixes together into a perfect combination to try foods that no man has, or should, ever try in their lifetime. I recommend anyone who has the supplies and isn’t afraid of messing up a recipe, to throw some wild things in there for funsies. Either to just say that you’ve made whatever creation you’ve concocted, or to accidentally stumble upon a new and fasting new food creation.
#additional context for those who don’t know: my twin and I are roommates#bones speaks#bones culinary crimes#oh and the taste issues have existed before covid and haven’t changed bc of covid. I’m just built like this for as long as I can remember

The Dojo Gojo Casa House
Hi guys, here’s a gojo x reader that I started writing months ago. The title literally gripped me by my neck and wouldn’t let go so gaze upon this monstrosity >:3
Satoru never played fair. That was a fact of life. But he also never cheated. It was unnecessary when everything he tried came like second nature. He was athletic, he was smart, he could sing, and he could charm himself out of just about any situation he wasn’t supposed to be in. It would have been fine if he was humble. More down to earth like Nanami or Shoko. But he wasn’t. He didn’t even have the decency to pretend like the world didn’t come to a halt the day he was born. He was cocky. He was brash, and he was fucking annoying to make matters worse. He picked a target and he wore them down until they weren’t any fun to play with anymore. Once Nanami had left the jujutsu world in pursuit of college you wish you had gone with him because Satoru was insufferable. You were only a second grade, you weren’t terribly strong and you knew that, but Satoru just needed to remind you any chance he could get. He’s always been insufferable, for as long as you can remember, every memory you’ve had of him revolved around him teasing someone. It was something he was known for; yet he still managed to get under your skin.
This job was stressful, anyone could tell you that. It’s why Shoko smoked a pack a day, why Suguru defected, and why Nanami had left. It wasn’t for the faint of heart, yet you ended up staying; persuaded by some fluffed up speech on how much good you would be doing. It was hard to see the good when you ended each day exhausted and crying in Shoko’s office about how awful it was. Everyone had their vices, and yours was staying even though it made you sick. The tears weren’t too bad, you had always been on the more sensitive side and it was cathartic really. Shoko never made you feel bad and if she was annoyed by your daily visits she didn’t show it. Maybe she was just happy enough to see a sorcerer retain their humanity. The only person who seemed to even acknowledge it was Satoru, appearing at the worst times when your eyes were still red and puffy and he would tease you. It wasn’t cruel in hindsight because Satoru wasn’t cruel per say, but he was insensitive. Cooing and pouting dramatically at your teary eyes, patting your head in a way so condescending you would have swung on him if infinity wasn’t in the way. You were pissed, your hands shaking and your face hot. His taunting words and sardonic laughter only seemed to bring a fresh set of tears to your eyes and you wanted to disappear. You were never getting out of this, where Satoru perceived weakness, he saw an opportunity to have his fun.
You were fucked.
“Cute,” he laughed, squishing your cheeks together; only laughing harder when you batted at his hands.
That was three years ago. Things have changed, the jujutsu world was busier than ever with the emergence of Sukuna’s vessel, even leading Nanami out of hiding and back to his death sentence. You’ve changed, spending the last two of these years teaching at the Kyoto school; only having been transferred back over to take over the second years while Satoru dealt with the Itadori case. Everyone seemed to mellow out, even Satoru. Being a teacher seems to have finally jump-started the part of his frontal lobe that produced empathy. He was calmer, almost nicer, in a way. He didn’t wear white bandages anymore, instead swapping them out for a black blindfold. It was nice. Things felt nice and almost complete in a way they haven’t for a very long time. You still chat with Shoko, but now you have Nanami to hang out with again; catching up on some four odd years and how you’ve both been doing.
Satoru still seemed to tail you but in a very different way. He was busier now, still taking on missions and teaching his classes, but wherever you were he didn’t seem to be far behind. Especially if Nanami was there.
“My two favorite Kouhai!” You hear yelled from down the hall. You groan letting your head slump against the table and Nanami sighs following suit, today was definitely not the day. Doing shots and getting ramen at 3 am seemed like a great idea: but god was hindsight twenty-twenty. Your head was pounding.
It didn’t take long for him to burst into the teacher’s lounge, only pausing when he saw the two of you face down. You heard it, if only for a second; but it made your blood run cold. That fucking laughter. You feel your stomach churn and you let out a shuddery breath, squeezing your eyes shut. You were not going to cry. You had been working on it these last few years. Challenging yourself, trying to find different outlets; but when it came to Satoru nobody could ever seem to win. You feel the lump in your throat and a hand on your shoulder.
“Oh?” His voice intones, sounding delighted. “Thought some time away would do you good, didn’t know you were still a crybaby.” You could hear him smirking.
“Gojo, I don’t think that comment is very appropriate.” Nanami says, his voice gravelly and warning.
“Lighten up,” Satoru chuckles, “I’m just teasing her.”
“You’re as incorrigible as I remember,” Nanami sighs, pulling his glasses off and rubbing his eyes. “They let you teach the youth?”
“Nanamin,” he coos, “Bold of you to assume I need permission to do anything.”
Scratch that, nothing has changed. He was just as annoying as he was in high school, and he’ll continue to be annoying until something strong enough crawls out of hell to kill him.
“Woah, calm down sweetheart,” he says, pulling his hand off of you, “I can feel you spiking, you wanna fight me or something?”
“Don’t,” Nanami warns, giving you a tired glare. He’s played this game before and he knows how it ends.
You did. You absolutely did. Even if it meant getting your ass blasted halfway across the dojo, if you could land even one punch you’d be satisfied. You lift your head up and turn to glare at him, ignoring the inertia of your hangover. Your eyes were watering in rage, and you could feel your heart racing and your cursed energy practically boiling below the surface.
His lips part a bit before they curl in into a smirk.
“Oh. You do wanna fight me.” He says. He bends down to sit on his haunches, even going as far to lift the blindfold up so you’re truly eye to eye.
“That’s cute,” he says, smiling in a way that seems dangerous. “You sure you’re not gonna cry if I hit you?”
“Go to hell.” You spit, you’re seething, this wasn’t good. He looks you over once, then twice, before laughing. That same laugh that made your stomach churn in a way you couldn’t describe. He reaches a hand forward, cold against your cheek wiping one of your tears.
“Oh sweetheart,” he whispers, rubbing the tear between his fingers. “You wouldn’t last a second. You’re weak.”
You snap. You’re bringing a hand forward to slap him but it’s grabbed in the blink of an eye, shoved back against your chest with a force that pushes the table. You could see Nanami out of the corner of your eye reaching for the nata, but he stops, because Satoru is laughing again.
“Really cute,” he laughs, “You’ve got balls, I’ll give you that.” He lets go of your hand and stands up stretching. “This was fun, I've gotta run though; the students should be done with their laps right about now. If you really wanna try that again, meet me in the training room after school.”
He’s just about out of the room before he shoots an eerie glance at Nanami. “And if you come, come alone.”
“What…the fuck was that?” You whisper, dropping your head into your hands. The adrenaline coursing through your body made you feel almost nauseous. You heard Nanami sigh and feel a hand on your shoulder.
“Is he gonna—”
“He wants to sleep with you.” He says bluntly.
What.
“What?” You say, almost ready to flip the table because nothing makes sense today. “He wants to beat my ass!”
“Beat? No.” He says, a hint of a smirk on his lips. “But as someone who was subjected to the boys dormitory, I am painfully aware of how Gojo-san flirts, it seems like nothing about him has changed.”
“What are you saying?” You say.
“I’m saying,” he says, fully sitting up, “He used to taunt Geto-san in a very similar way, he’s got a very… roundabout way of flirting. As juvenile as it is, this is him flirting. I can’t believe I didn’t see it sooner.”
“You mean this is a pattern for him?” You groan.
“Once again, you weren’t subjected to the boys dormitory,” he says and shivers a bit. “Those fights in the courtyard took very interesting… turns.”
“He’s going to kill me,” you groan, rubbing your face.
“You’re going?” He asks, raising a brow. You can feel your cheeks heat up and you shake your head.
“I-I never said that!”
“You implied it.”
“Did not.”
“You did.”
“I did not!”
———————-
The day seemed to drag on as you waited for the clock to strike three. Maybe if you had been better distracted it would have flown by faster, but Satoru seemed to want you fired up long before your little meeting. He took your fucking students. Walked right into the classroom, and decided today was the day he wanted to take them on a day trip to Korea. The bastard didn’t even have the decency to ask if you wanted to go. Just waltzing in like he owned the place and poofing away with your kids. It makes your blood boil even hotter, because he knows the second years have state tests coming up soon. You couldn’t even remember the last time one of them has scored above a fifty, the highest score was Panda, and you couldn’t even document his work without looking insane.
So here you were, in the lounge with Ijichi going over reports because you weren’t salaried yet and you’d rather die than let Satoru keep you from a full day's pay. The poor man was practically shaking next to you, hoping you didn’t snap and test out your black flash on him. He wasn’t too far off either, you were wired, the knots in your stomach growing tighter each time you replayed the events of the day. You wouldn’t hurt him, intentionally; but you were seconds away from asking Yaga for a cursed corpse to blow off some steam.
The problem is, it wouldn’t even be satisfying. You only had one target in mind, and he was frolicking around doing God knows what in Korea. The clock struck three, and Satoru still hadn’t returned.
He didn’t show until almost six, you had already trained and warmed up; even going as far as sparring with Nanami to prepare yourself. You now owed him dinner and a bottle of brandy, but you felt ready.
Your blood was pumping and you felt alive.
Satoru waltzed in just like he had to your classroom, and you saw blue; all you could see was blue. His cursed energy illuminated the room which set to piss you off even further. There was no urgency in his steps, no sense of duty; he walked in like he was perusing the convenience store.
“Sorry,” he snickers, raising his hand in greeting. “Got a little carried away, forgive me?” A condescending pout plastered on his lips. You couldn’t believe what you were hearing.
“You’re sorry?” You breathe in disbelief.
“That’s what I said, isn’t it?” He says, stripping off his jacket revealing a shirt that had no business being so tight.
“You’re so fucking--” you say, cutting yourself off with a groan. “What the fuck is wrong with you? You don’t just leave people waiting--”
“You came alone,” he says, cutting you off. “Didn’t bring your bodyguard?”
“Bodyguard? What the fuck are you talking abou—”
“Please,” he scoffs, “Like Nanami-kun doesn’t trail you like a dog?”
“Oh so he’s the one trailing me?”you scoff. “Satoru, I can barely get away from you.”
He takes a step closer, his breath tickling your neck. “Yeah? So you’ve noticed, can’t get enough of you—”
“Oh give it a rest”You groan, taking a step back. “Flirt with the wall, are we gonna fight or what?”
He chuckles, taking a step forward. “You still wanna fight?”
“What else would I come here for?”you scoff, “You said if I was still up for it we would, so let’s fight”
“Let’s fight…”he chuckles, shaking his head. “Alright”
He takes a step forward, you can feel the cursed energy radiating off of him barely contained.
“I’ll raise you something better, sweetheart” he continues, flashing a pointed grin. “I’ll take this” he says, snapping his fingers and the aura of the room shifted; feeling lighter. “Off.” He was closer now, the gap between you two slim to nothing, you could feel his breath he was so close. Was it…? You reached forward tentatively and recoiled when you actually touched skin.
It was.
Infinity was off. He smirked, giving you a nod. “And, I’ll even let you strike first. I heard from a little birdie that you’re close contact”
“I don’t need your pity” you scoff, raising your hands. “Don’t hold back”
“Oh sweetheart,”he laughs. In the blink of an eye he was surging forward and your legs were kicked from underneath you. Before you could hit the ground he was right there to catch you.
“You won’t make it out alive if I actually fought you” he says, there was another surge and you were thumping your head against the mat while he stood over you, extending a hand. “and we need this pretty head attached that pretty body…y’know, in case we need backup”
“You’re such a bastard!—“you exclaim and yelp when he phases in front of you again, grabbing your hands and pinning them. This wasn’t fair, he was too fucking fast you could barely see him; trying to track him with your eyes made you sick.
“Fight with your hands, sweetheart”he goads, appearing behind you and pushing you to the floor, his foot on the small of your back. “Not your mouth”
Another flash of cursed energy and he’s crouched down in front of you, holding out his hand again. “Awww, already tired?”
You don’t take his hand instead swerving to kick his ankles, hoping that would take him down. He falters a bit to your elation, but you weren’t fast enough for the kill. You should’ve brought a cursed weapon, what the fuck were you thinking? The moment you’re on your feet you’re swept off of them again.
You’re panting, unable to even strike and spending most of your time on the defense avoiding his blows. He’s close again, right against your ear.
“Still want me to play fai-”
You crack your fist back instinctively, surprised when it actually makes contact with his jaw. Your heart was pounding in your ears, the adrenaline making your body tremble. You could barely breathe, every ounce of your being going into not ending up thrown across the room.
“Hah”he says, rubbing his jaw. “Cute. You call that little love tap a punch?”
“Stop calling me cute”You spit out through gritted teeth, gripping his arm and digging your nails in causing him to wince. If you couldn’t land another hit you surely weren’t going to let go.
“Get your fuckin claws out of me”he grunts, gripping your other arm so you’re both at a standstill.
“Stop calling me cute then,”you repeat, digging your nails in deeper; you’d break skin if you kept going, you kind of wanted to.
“Ah”he grunts, the pain turning into laughter. “Can’t I call it how I see it, baby?”
He grips your arm tighter to pull you closer. “So fucking cute”he says, his breath against your cheek. “The way you squirm…god”
“I fucking hate you”you seethe, trying to pull your arm away. His hands were so cold, but they felt nice against your skin.
“Do you?”he asks, “you fucking hate me?”he purrs, pulling you even closer. Your heart was beating out of your chest, the adrenaline churning in your stomach and making your knees weak.
“Yeah”you breathe. He pulls up his blindfold revealing those bright blue eyes that have your heart beating even faster.
“Then show me how much you hate me”he says, one last tug pulling you flush against his chest. You could feel his heart beating, and you couldn’t pinpoint why it felt surreal. Satoru was untouchable in a way that had him seen as less than human. To confirm he did in fact have a heartbeat throws your world on its axis again. The rhythmic thumping against his chest lulled you into a trance.
“Come on”he says again, his breath fanning over your head. “If you hate me so much then show me”
“Maybe you can’t?”he muses. “What is it? Tell me, I’m listening”
“I hate you”you repeat, your voice taking on a shaky tone.
“Aw baby”he coos, letting go of your arm to squish your cheeks. “This doesn’t feel like hate, now does it? You’re all over me”
“Let go of me!”you grunt, swinging blindly. Your heart was thumping rapidly and you could hardly breathe.
“Do you really want me to?”he asks, his touch light now, ready to back off if you gave him the word. And you couldn’t.
Time paused.
Did you really want him to?
Your breathing falters and your stomach churns as his lips turn up in a feral grin, his canines sharper than any person’s should be. You wanted to feel them against your throat. You could feel his cursed energy buzzing against your skin, it felt electric. His grip softened a bit and his eyes took on a lighter gaze.
“Really”he says, his voice low and serious in a way you’ve never heard. “Tell me to stop and I will. It’s all your call.”
Did you want him to stop?
One look in his eyes and you knew things would never be the same.
Thanks for reading the inner workings of my mind with this fucker. It’s not my best or even good but it’s honest work🥹
If you want a pt.2 with the actual smut lmk but it might take me seven to eight business months to finish.

sunday snippet
I meant to have this fic done ages ago but it's now somehow three times as long as it was, I've rewritten it five times, and I'm still working on it 🫠 oh well. have a snippet from snickerdoodles.
@tizniz @hippolotamus @eddiebabygirldiaz @daffi-990 @exhuastedpigeon @spotsandsocks @kejfeblintz @smilingbuckley @sofa-king-lame @chaosandwolves @smilingbuckley @belasmalhotra @bekkachaos @blutterlie @sazanahashi @livinginsunnyhell @epicbuddieficrecs @sparklespiff @alliaskisthepossibilityoflove @dangerpronebuddie continued from Wednesday
Eddie tries again, but still sounds rough and hollowed out. “I don’t want to drag you down. Okay? You should move on and forget me and— and it’ll be better.”
Not so much for Eddie. He’s never let go of anything in his life. It’s all there hiding under the surface, stuffed in cages. But Buck should move on. Buck should survive him.
Is this their only future? It feels like losing everything. Eddie is losing everything. He’s kidding himself if he thinks he hasn’t already lost Chris. What if Eddie doesn’t survive this time? What will happen to everyone he loves? Everyone who loves him?
Does anyone love him? Does he mean anything to anyone? Has he ever meant anything?
“Forget— I should forget you?” Buck snaps, his anger un-contained fire now, not just a hint of smoldering kindling. Vicious, spitting, sparking, living flames that will turn everything to ashes.
Maybe they should actually fight and say awful things and then it would be easier to walk away.
Eddie’s not sure he could even manage that right now. There’s nothing left in him. No fight, no fire. It’s all shattered, scattered pieces. But he would try. If Buck needs that.
He might need that. He snaps again, “Like you’re a pair of socks that disappeared in the laundry? Or something I meant to pick up at the store and spaced? Like it’s easy? Like you’re nothing? Like this? Us? You and me? Means nothing?”
Okay, when he puts it that way… it sounds dumb. But how else can Eddie stop hurting him? “No,” Eddie says. Not fiery, not loud, not anything. “No. Just. Something that doesn’t—”
“You're my best friend. You— you’re— I’ll let you go. Okay. Whatever. I’ll do that because I know you and I know you need Chris and I get it. I wouldn’t want you to do anything but love him exactly the way you do. But I won’t, will not and can not pretend that you aren’t my best friend and my partner and the person I love more than anything. All right? I’m not going to do that. I’ve spend years—literal— almost a whole decade of years loving you more than anything. I’m not going to just forget that or forget you. I’m not throwing that way. I’m not ever going to lie and say otherwise. This is not a ‘move on and grow out of it’ scenario. I love you more than anything in the world. Okay? You told me I wasn’t expendable and I had to deal with that so you have to deal with this. You mean everything to me and I love you, and that isn’t going to change even when you leave.”
“—hurt you,” Eddie finishes. It doesn’t really sound finished now. He says it because he was already saying it.
But that the fuck does he say now?
Eddie doesn’t usually think of himself as small, quiet, or fragile. But he feels like that now. His feeble words sound like it even in his own ears. Small. Inconsequential. Torn apart.
Buck steps back toward him. Not enough that they’re touching, but enough that they’re closer. “Hurt me. Drag me down. I don’t care.”
Eddie recoils. No. No, he hates that idea. He is not doing that. Not intentionally. Not. What the fuck.
He knows he said the words. He said them because his mother said them and they stuck and haven’t left his head or his heart and it’s all he does. Ruin people he loves.
Buck shakes his head. “Be in the way. Burden me. Share whatever weight you’re carrying. Be something that stays even if you’re not here. Be part of my life even if it hurts. I don’t care if it hurts, I need you to be something to me. Having nothing of you would be a hundred, thousand, million times worse. I am in this with you. I always have been. Don’t shut me out just to spare me. If you’re facing the fire, I want to be right there with you. Please don’t make me lose everything of you. Please don’t— please. Don’t pretend this is nothing. I can take you leaving, I can’t take this,” he motions between them, “meaning nothing.”
Eddie stares and doesn’t move. And stares harder like it will help him understand.
He knows he’s breathing still because there’s air.
Maybe he’s not breathing. But something is making air flow in and out of his body. Like rescue breaths? Supplemental oxygen? It’s not Eddie doing it, he’s not taking in air, but it happens anyway.
He doesn’t understand. Maybe he never has. Maybe his brain stopped processing information when he stopped breathing because the brain can’t function without oxygen. Something like that. He doesn’t understand. He doesn’t.
Buck wants something of him even after everything? After all the people who have walked out on him and treated him like he doesn’t matter? Even with how Eddie fails and hurts people who care about him? He means something to Buck? Even though he’s hurting him and abandoning him and losing him? Eddie’s just another person who leaves him. He can’t hurt Buck. He can’t keep doing it. Buck doesn’t deserve this. And Eddie deserves no loyalty, no forgiveness.
He doesn’t deserve anyone’s love. Not in any form. He shouldn’t have it. He’s never had it.
“I don’t—” Eddie tries to say. He has to say. He has to make the words come out. “I don’t want to hurt you the way Abby hurt you. I don’t want to do that.”
Buck shakes his head again and starts to say something.
Eddie beats him to it. “I know it’s not the same. I know I’m not— I know you don’t— It’s different. Still. I know how she hurt you, and I don’t want to do that. I don’t know how to not do that. I’m leaving you here. In my house. Just like she did when she left you. And I have to—” Do the same fucking thing? Give him up? Walk away? Destroy everything they made together? And maybe the only way to survive is to do what Eddie does best and ruin everything?
He looks back at Buck and doesn’t mean to say it. He wasn’t going to say anything. It doesn’t matter. He doesn’t matter. He should be mean and nasty and he should tell Buck he means nothing, this means nothing, and then Buck can just be justifiably angry and hate Eddie properly.
And it would spare him. Whatever pain and tragedy that is associated with being near Eddie. It would spare Buck.
That’s what he should do.
That would be mercy and kindness. Pick up the weapon and blow this all to hell.
Eddie can’t breathe. He can’t do this. Any of it.
He can’t let go. He can’t lose Buck.
And then he’s suddenly confessing, “I don’t want to do this."
It’s too late. It’s always too late. And what he actually wants has never mattered. He doesn’t matter. He never has. He twists his hands together and has nothing else to hold onto. It’s too late, so none of this matters. Eddie doesn’t matter. But he meets Buck’s lost gaze, stares into his eyes for three seconds, and he can’t keep it in.
“I want to be with Chris. I miss him so much. Every minute of every day. But I don't want to leave here. I don't want this. But it doesn't matter what I want. It never has. The one time I said, 'What about me? Why didn't you think of me?' Chris left. He left because I hurt him. And my dad says, ‘don’t wait thirty years to listen to your son.’ So I listen. I don’t know what the hell else to do. I listen, and I do what all of them ask. Even when it’s the last thing I want and I’ve already said, no, please stop, I need more time, please hear me. They don’t listen to me. I’m still nothing to every single one of them. And I just keep thinking why don’t I ever count? Why don’t I matter even a little bit?
"You think you aren't everything to me, too? Do you think that I don't love you just as much as you love me? But I don’t get to pick you. I don’t get to have anything of you. I hurt everyone I try to love including you and Chris. I’m not enough for anyone, in any way. I can’t love anyone the way they need or the way I’m supposed to. You say you’re defective parts, well I’m fucking broken.
"That’s why you should forget me. I don’t matter. You shouldn’t care. I should mean nothing because I am nothing. I’m not worth this. If I were a better, stronger person, I’d make you hate me. But I can’t even do that. I don’t want to hurt you more. I have to lose you and I don’t know how to lose you. I love you more than anything and it’s not enough. I don’t know what else to do but say, you should move on and forget me.”
Eddie turns away and covers his face, tries to hold his head because it’s aching. It’s too much. That was too much. He’s not supposed to be falling apart. Everything is supposed to be getting better.
Shards of ice crack and fracture and break underneath him. Everything in the cage around his ribs snaps and he’s crying into his hands, trying to keep it together. Trying and failing. Always failing. His face is already wet. He was already broken. A long time ago. So many times.
Buck is suddenly behind him. Not distant. Close behind him. He touches Eddie’s back gently and then steps around until he’s standing in front of him. He reaches between them and rests his hand on Eddie’s chest. As if he can stop the never-ending bleeding that’s somehow always pouring from Eddie’s heart. “You are enough, Eddie. You’re more than enough."

An Unexpected Bonding Ch. 1
Pairing: Agatha Harkness x Reader
Warnings: none yet
Word count: 1,124
A/N: Here’s the first chapter, I think for now I’m just gonna post the intro and the first few and see how well it does but as of rn I have 6 written / perfecting, currently completing the 7th. I hope you all like it and please lmk if anyone is interested in more!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Her steel gaze locked onto yours, unblinking, searching.
“You… helped me?” she rasped, taking a tentative step toward you.
The shadows around you peeled back, revealing a soft cloaked human outline
“I couldn’t very well let them harm you….or attempt that is-” you replied softly, your voice like a melody carried on the wind as you approached her
Agatha staggered down off the pyre, her knees buckling slightly, but she didn’t fall. You caught her hand gripping her arm softly, your hold steadying her.
“Why? Why would you do this?” she asked, her tone a mix of suspicion and curiosity. “You don’t even know me.”
“I know enough,” you answered. “I’ve seen your pain, your struggle. You deserve better than what they tried to give you.”
Agatha’s breath hitched, and for the first time in years—she felt something other than fear or anger. It was warmth, faint but growing, seeping into the cold recesses of her soul.
But as quickly as it came, her walls slammed back up. Her lips pressed into a thin line, and her shoulders straightened, she pulls her arm from your grasp stepping away. “You’re bound to me now,” she said sharply, her words tinged with a mix of acceptance and resignation. “Whether either of us likes it or not.”
You tilted your head, studying her. “And do you? Like it?”
Her eyes narrowed. “I don’t trust things I don’t understand.”
“Then let’s understand it together,” you said gently, stepping closer.
For a moment, Agatha said nothing. The air between you crackled with unspoken words, emotions too complex to name. Finally, she nodded, a reluctant yet undeniable acknowledgment of the truth neither of you could deny.
“Fine,” she said, her voice steadier now. “But don’t think for a second that I’m letting my guard down.”
You smiled, a soft, knowing expression. “I wouldn’t expect anything less.”
As the night deepened, Agatha turned away from the scene of devastation, her steps heavy but deliberate. You followed silently, your presence a constant, comforting shadow. The pull between you both grew stronger with each passing moment, an invisible thread that neither of you could sever.
And deep down, Agatha knew—despite her stubbornness, her mistrust, and her fear—that she didn’t want to.
The nights following the pyre were marked not just by silence, but by an undercurrent of dread that Agatha could never quite shake. Even as the crackling firelight cast a warm glow, shadows danced in her mind—memories of her mother’s cold eyes, the betrayal of her sisters, and the terrifying truth she couldn’t escape.
Her power wasn’t like theirs. It never had been.
You had seen it firsthand. When the witches had turned their magic against her, trying to destroy her, it was Agatha who had destroyed them. She hadn’t wanted to, but the magic had acted on instinct, surging out of her like a beast unchained. It had swallowed their power whole, draining them dry until nothing but lifeless shells remained.
She hadn’t meant to kill them. She hadn’t even known she could.
Now, as she sat by the fire with you, the guilt weighed on her like lead. Her hands rested in her lap, trembling slightly, and though you didn’t say anything, you could feel the turmoil through the bond—the fear, the shame, the self-loathing.
“Why are you still here?” she asked suddenly, her voice cutting through the quiet.
You glanced at her, surprised by the question. “What do you mean?”
“You saw what I did,” she said, her tone sharp but brittle. “You know what I am. What I can do. So why haven’t you run?”
You tilted your head, studying her. “Because I know that’s not who you are, I can’t explain but it’s a feeling I suppose.”
Her jaw tightened, and she looked away, her hands clenching into fists. “You don’t understand,” she muttered. “It’s not something I can control. Every time someone uses magic against me, I… I take it. All of it. And it doesn’t stop until there’s nothing left.”
Her voice broke, and she took a shuddering breath. “Do you know what it feels like? To be afraid of your own power? To know that the people you love, the people you trust, see you as a monster?”
“I don’t see you as a monster,” you said softly.
She laughed bitterly, the sound hollow and sharp. “That’s because you don’t know me. Not really.”
“I know enough,” you replied, your voice steady. “I know you didn’t ask for this. I know you’ve been hurt by people who should have protected & guided you. And I know that no matter how much you try to push me away, you don’t want to be alone.”
Her eyes snapped to yours, a mixture of anger and vulnerability flashing in their depths. “You think this bond makes you special? That it gives you the right to lecture me?”
“No,” you said calmly. “But it does mean I’m not going anywhere. Whether you like it or not,now we’re in this together.”
Agatha stared at you, her chest rising and falling with uneven breaths. For a moment, she looked like she might argue, but then something in her seemed to break.
“You should be afraid of me,” she whispered, her voice barely audible. “You should hate me.”
“But I don’t,” you said simply shrugging.
Her gaze softened, and for the first time, her walls cracked just enough for you to see the raw, aching heart beneath.
“I don’t know how to stop it,” she admitted, her voice trembling. “I’ve tried everything—spells, rituals, even… dark magic. That’s why they turned on me. They thought I was evil. Maybe they were right.”
“They weren’t,” you said firmly. “You’re not evil, Agatha. You’re just… lost. And it’s okay to need help finding your way.”
She looked at you, her eyes searching yours, and for a moment, she seemed to consider the possibility that you might be right.
“This bond,” she said softly, “it’s different. I don’t know why, but… when I’m near you, the magic doesn’t feel so… out of control.”
You reached out tentatively, your hand brushing against hers. “Maybe that’s because we’re meant to help each other. Maybe we’re stronger together.”
Her fingers curled around yours, hesitant but steady, and the warmth of her touch sent a spark through the bond.
“Stronger together,” she echoed, her voice barely above a whisper.
And in that moment, something shifted. The walls she had built so carefully began to crumble, piece by piece, and for the first time in a long time, Agatha allowed herself to believe in the possibility of hope.
We Haven't Known Joy Yet..."😔💔
My name is Shahd, a girl from Rafah, a city that has tasted war and pain since the day I was born. Near the Philadelphi Corridor, life was simple yet filled with love. I dreamed of finishing my university studies, finding a job that would make me proud, and building a happy family with the one I love.🥹
I married Badr, the love of my life. He’s a pharmacist who owned a small pharmacy where he spent hours helping others and easing their pain. Our wedding was modest—no grand celebrations, just love binding us together and hopes for a brighter future.💔💔
But war does not let dreams flourish. Just days after our wedding, an order came: "Evacuate immediately!" We left everything behind—our memories, our hard work, our home. Then came the airstrikes. Our house was destroyed, along with Badr’s pharmacy, where he worked tirelessly, and even my university, where I had spent years pursuing my education, was turned to rubble.😭🇵🇸🍉
We’ve moved from place to place, city to city, fleeing the death that seems to chase us. Now, we live in a tent in Khan Younis. A small tent that barely shelters us from the cold and rain. Badr tries to stay strong, but I see him every night staring into the void, as if asking himself, "Why did all of this happen?"💔
We’re living in unbearable conditions. Food is scarce, water barely sufficient, and my dream of motherhood is on hold because we don’t even have enough to sustain ourselves. We haven’t had the chance to celebrate our marriage or feel a single day of happiness.
Today, I’m reaching out to you, with a heart weighed down by pain, to ask for your help. We need everything: food, water, medicine, and clothing. We need a chance to rebuild, to dream again, to live a life worthy of our humanity.
Every donation, no matter how small, can make a huge difference in our lives. Every share of our story could reach someone with the ability to help. You are the only hope we have after God.😭🙏🏼🙏🏼💔
Please help us build a new life in the midst of this darkness.
🔗By donating to me on my link or sharing my campaign 😭🇵🇸🍉
The Vulture and The Finch
summary: a short story where the finch trusts the vulture, leading to a gut-wrenching betrayal.
word count: i have no idea actually but it is short.
warnings: angst, no happy ending, betrayal
A/N: Inspired by the song Birds by the Sea by BANKS. im back and im here fo bring the heartache.
“You never sang for me,”
Fighting the tears in your eyes was something you found yourself doing more often these days than not. His outfits were the same, but he wasn’t. How did this much time pass? You felt so lost, you stand alone now and the one person you wanted to stand by you forever… now stands with someone else.
“Y/N… what did you call me here for?” He has a right to ask this question. You haven’t spoken in almost two years. All the rumors you heard have become too much to bear, it was gutting you to even think about any of it being true. But seeing the five o’clock shadow and the ring on his left hand was answer enough.
“Heard you’re living with a girl by the sea,” You tried to smile, tried to choke out laughter to seem supportive but it all just sounded strangled; gurgled as if you’re drowning.
You stare out at the waves, aching with the knowledge that Noah always knew you wanted to settle down by the water as it was your safe space. You could cry while sitting on the shore, sharing something in common with the water that greeted you, the salt in your tears mimicking the crashing of the waves, releasing your pain. The wind that whisked past you whispered in your ears with each gust, ‘this too shall pass’.
It all feels like a lie now.
He said he’d never leave you. With all the warnings your mutual friends were giving you, you shouldn’t have believed him, especially because every time he said it, he said it by the door.
Subtle foreshadowing.
Was it because you broke the ancient superstition to never buy your lover shoes unless you want them to walk right out of your life? Perhaps it was the time you bought him the watch he wanted, bringing forth the bad omen on yourself, giving you no choice but to countdown how much time you had left together.
How rich that he’s wearing that very watch now.
“Heard she’s have a little baby now, how sweet”
He’s taken your dreams, your visions, just to fashion them to fit his current life. A piece of you has been stolen, it has kept you up at night more times you can count while he sleeps ever so peacefully.
“You don’t get to speak on my family,” His voice was void of any patience. He’s not even sure why he entertained you to come out here.
It’s sad really, the thought of Noah was always accompanied by birds, flying around you two as they sang their tune, but he never sang for you. His refusal should have been sign enough, he knew the type of love you desired and his defiance was a display of the deprivation.
“I should have listened to everyone when they told me not to fall for you, fuck! Even your own best friend warned me! He always told me you’d never change your ways but he was wrong. You did! I just wasn’t worthy, apparently,”
“Y/N, I have a wife and our child to get back to. I’m not here to debate my choices with you!”
“Then why did you come?!,” spinning around to take in the sight of him. He always had tired eyes but they only seemed more exhausted as they ran over your features. You weren’t sure if it was due to him preparing for a child… or if it was the fact he always found you mentally and emotionally taxing; that any energy he spent dealing with you was quickly depleted.
“Because I felt bad for you!,” his own expression was an indication of his involuntary slip up, however, he figured he might as well drive the sword deeper, “I came here because I still ask Nicholas about you and he tells me you’re not doing well. I know it’s my fault but what can I do now, Y/N? I’m married- I have a daughter on the way, I-,”
“So you take my plans and execute them with another girl? Yes. That sure shows your sympathy for me, Sebastian!”
“What is the point in all this?,”
The million dollar question. You asked yourself this all the way over here. No answer you came up with sounded good enough and you know no matter what answer you give, he will find pitiful.
“Closure, I guess,” You shrugged, wrapping your cardigan tighter around you as you turn back to the sea. Standing ankle deep in the water, wishing to be carried away in the ebb and flow. You hated how he could easily make you cry.
“You took the life I wanted for us both and you gave to someone else,” now there was venom on your tongue, “You were my songbird… y-you were supposed to bring love and joy but come to find out you’re a fucking vulture hiding in the skin of a finch. You mimicked me until the hunger of your own selfishness took over! You picked at me and picked until you were full and sated then you left my fucking carcass to rot and you think you deserve the peace? The clear conscience that you have?!,”
You really didn’t mean to break. You came here to ask how he was and to congratulate him on his new life, but the more you think about it- you didn’t want to do that anymore. He took the heart of a hopeless romantic and squeezed it dry right in front of you. How do you congratulate that? When he drained the blood from you just to pump it into the life he has today, making it full and youthful?
It’s sickening, actually.
You turned once more to look at him and swallowed thickly.
“You are the bad omen in my life. There was no black cat, no broken mirror, no walking under a ladder. Just a 6’3 bloodsucker who carefully chooses his next conduit to drain until he gets what he wants,”
You began to walk past him, just wanting to leave. That want was quickly diminished when you come to an immediate halt, feeling his hand wrap around your forearm, the coolness of his ring seeping through a hole in your cardigan brought a type of burning you’ve never experienced.
“That’s not fair,” he hissed, eyes strong and dead set on yours, surprised with you snatching your arm out of his grasp.
“No, what’s not fair is Nicholas telling me you’re naming your daughter after the name I was going to give our child!,” you push him away, a fire burning under your flesh, the complete opposite of the cool air that rushed between the two of you, “What’s not fair is you giving your wife my dream home!,”
Another push.
“What’s not fair is you making me believe that what you have now could have been with me,”
Another one.
“What’s not fair is you leaving me in the middle of the night while I cried for you and never turning back!,”
Another.
“What’s not fair is you dedicating songs to your wife and all I ever fucking got was a half assed unreleased verse on a usb!”
One more.
“What’s not fucking fair, Noah!! Is you watching me fall in love with you knowing you never felt the same way. That I was just a place holder until the girl you truly wanted, wanted you back!!!”
Next thing you know he’s stumbling and falling into the crashing waves, sea foam in his hair and salt water burning his eyes.
“You can have it! Have my life!,” you bellow, watching as he tries to pull himself together.
“You’re the one that has to live the rest of your life knowing you’re so empty that you have to siphon others to feel joy, to feel anything!,” you take a few steps toward him, pointing a finger with so much anger it could kill, “You have nothing left to siphon from me, so good luck trying to figure everything else out on your own,”
“Y/N,” he just sat there, head hanging low while his arms rest on his knees.
You had nothing left to say, nothing left to hear, so you had no reason to stay.
“Y/N!,”
The sand sinking with each step, forcing you to use your arms, your anger promoting the momentum.
“Y/N! Fuck!,”
His voice became quieter the more distance you made.
His facade will crumble.
And you’ll find your birds by the sea. Reminding yourself over and over that you’ll get what you deserve out of this life.
“Someone will sing for me”
a/n: first part is like a smau companion i guess? but this is the actual interaction which makes the twt posts make more sense!!
part one / two
two days ago
you still can’t believe it. the paddock pass is smooth under your hands, so smooth it might just slip out and away. you’ve never been so close before, despite having watched many of the races on a grainy screen or far, far up into the grandstands. it didn’t make sense, really. when you were younger, your mother disapproved of flouncing around just to go to a racetrack—she certainly wouldn’t accompany you, with the engines roaring past, when your music on 70% volume was already deafening to her. but now, early decisions had come out, very much in your favor. mother was pleased, and that left you to go wherever you wished over easter.
so you’re here, standing in the ferrari paddock. it’s a gift on both guanyu and your brother’s part, flying you out at last minute’s notice when charles’s surgery was confirmed. an extremely generous gift you’re not sure you can repay anytime soon. it makes you feel a bit guilty, until you see how happy both of them are to see you. with college applications, you haven’t had much time to facetime your brother—he was overseas working—and the same went for guanyu. late family reunion, you decide.
lando walks pass the ferrari garage and waves at you. it turned out you had rooms on the same floor after bumping into each other in the elevator. it wasn’t the first time you’d met him: you’d been present at a few of his karting competitions when you were younger. you weren’t “friends,” you’d argue, but you’d talked enough to be good acquaintances. he was also a familiar face in the uk. that is, before he moved to monaco.
you grin at lando and turn back to guanyu, inside the garage. he’s trembling, even though his smile is wide and back is straight. charles has done well this season, and lewis is in the other seat. of course he would be nervous. you still remember how he sobbed when sauber released the news. formula one was the pinnacle of motorsports. being there was an achievement in itself, anyone knew. but when you were constantly outperformed by other drivers in other cars, it was hard to keep track of the fact.
you place a hand on his arm. “hey, you good?”
“yeah, i’m fine.” he reaches out for a one-handed hug. “glad to see you here. just a bit different from last year.”
“hey, come on. this is for everyone here for you. seeing you race is enough.”
zhou massages his temple. “what if it’s not? i don’t want to disappoint them again.”
“you won’t. your practice times are great! and if people think they do, they should try driving themselves.” you squeeze his hand. “where’s my brother? let him talk some sense into you.”
to that, he laughs. “oh, he did. told me that i should be happy i get the opportunity to drive and i think he’s right.”
you wince. sounds a bit harsh, but you know your brother means well.
“yeah, he usually is. probably a bit salty that he’s not a driver, too. but g’luck out there, okay? don’t crash.”
“i’ll try.”
── ⟢ ・⸝⸝
one day ago
once the sprint is over, you can tell a weight has been lifted off his back. fourth is great. fourth is amazing. max leads in first, lewis in second, lando in third, and guanyu in fourth. it’s not a shabby place in a lineup like that. points have been scored for ferrari and everyone is all smiles when they come to congratulate him.
lewis pats him on the back. “good to see you out there, zhou.”
“thanks. nice work today.” his data analyst taps him on the shoulder and guanyu is being led away. he waves goodbye at you.
the brit turns to you and offers a hand. “hamilton, lewis hamilton. i don’t think i’ve seen you around before.”
lewis! hamilton! is shaking your hand! meeting lando is less crazy because you’ve seen mini him stumbling off the track. but this is seven-time world champion, sir lewis hamilton. his braids are sleek and he’s perfectly polished: glowing, even. it should be illegal to stand around in a half-zipped race suit.
you shake his hand, making sure your grip is strong because your father said that’s the way to make an impression. “i’m yn. i’m guanyu’s friend.”
“oh, i see. you watch racing, much? i suppose you do.”
“yeah. he got me into it and i never stopped.”
lewis gives you a coy smile. “tell me, who’s your favorite driver?” he leans against one of the floating tables.
“i hate to break it to you, but it’s max.”
his eyes widen dramatically. he teases, “oh dear, we’re starting off on the wrong foot already.”
“if it makes you feel any better, i meant current driver.”
“okay, okay. no restrictions. favorite driver of all time?”
“kimi.”
he raises a thoughtful eyebrow. “you seem to have a type.”
“so who’s yours?” and you want to hit yourself right there because you just asked lewis hamilton who his favorite driver is. stupid, stupid, stupid. it’s probably senna. he’s too polite to say himself and you think you’ve heard that somewhere before.
“senna.”
bingo! quite the genius, you are. it’s hard to think around him, so that’s practically twice the achievement.
lewis sees your smile and asks, “why, do i have something on my face?”
“oh, no. i was thinking.”
“...about? nevermind, i won’t pry. tell me, yn, what else do you like to do?”
how conversational. if he does this one more time you might be convinced you’re friends. he’s probably just bored.
“sorry, excuse me?” you see a couple of fans outside the garage. the pit lane tour guide is surprised to see lewis still there. “could we get a few photos, please?”
lewis turns to you, surprisingly apologetic. “see you around?”
“alright.”
Can you do an Austin Butler x Reader imagine where it’s Elvis’s birthday and Austin decides to go to Memphis because he hasn’t been since Lisa’s funeral and the reader has never been. When they get there Austin introduces the reader to Riley, her husband Ben and daughter Tupelo, her twin sisters Harper and Finely , Priscilla, and Jerry. Riley decides to hold a dinner at Graceland (after hours) and they all catch up with Austin since it’s there first time seeing them since Lisa’s passing. The reader and the twins immediately become best friends (let’s say it’s years from now and all of them are 23). They all spend time hanging out and driving the golf carts on the Graceland lawn greeting the fans. The next day, it’s finally Elvis’s birthday and they all gather at Graceland for the celebration and because it’s Austin’s first time in a long time and the readers first time ever Riley lets them cut the cake.
Author’s Note:
Thank you for the request, my knowledge of Elvis/the Presley family is limited to the movie, Austin’s interviews and the new Netflix documentary so apologies for any mistakes! I also included the social media elements you wanted-I hope I did it right!
Back to Graceland
The hum of the car engine filled the quiet air as Memphis loomed closer on the horizon. Austin’s hands gripped the steering wheel a little tighter than usual, his knuckles faintly white, but his face remained calm—almost too calm. You knew him well enough to see through it. This trip meant more to him than he let on.
It had been Riley’s invitation that brought you both here. Because it would’ve been Elvis’ 90th birthday, she had decided to host celebrations at Graceland, inviting family and close friends to gather. She’d made it clear that she wanted Austin there. It was a special occasion, and Riley knew how much Graceland meant to him—how much her grandfather’s legacy still lived on in his heart.
But this was Austin’s first time returning since Lisa Marie’s funeral. That day had been heavy and devastating for everyone, and in the time since, Austin had kept a quiet distance from the place, choosing instead to remember it as it had been during happier times. Now, though, the invitation—and the milestone—felt too important to decline.
He’d said as much when you sat beside him on the couch earlier in the week, scrolling through Riley’s message. “It’s been too long,” he admitted quietly, more to himself than to you. “I can’t miss this.”
And now, here you were.
You glanced at Austin, the early afternoon sun casting soft light on his profile. His sunglasses shielded his eyes, but you could still sense his focus, his thoughts somewhere far away. You reached over, placing your hand gently on his knee. “You doing okay?”
His lips twitched into a small, grateful smile as he looked at you briefly. “Yeah. Just… a lot to process, you know? Haven’t been back since…” He trailed off, his fingers flexing against the wheel before he let out a quiet breath. “But it’s the right thing to do. And I’m glad you’re here with me.”
You smiled softly, giving his knee a reassuring squeeze. “You’re not doing this alone. And I can’t wait to see it all—the house, the stories, the history. I feel like I’ve heard so much about it, but it’ll be different seeing it in person.”
You were trying to sound upbeat, but truthfully, you were a little nervous yourself. You had never been to Graceland, and while the idea of seeing such a legendary place thrilled you, you couldn’t help but feel a bit out of place. You were meeting Austin’s extended “family”—Riley, Priscilla, Jerry, and the twins—for the first time. These were people who had been part of Austin’s journey during his portrayal of Elvis, people who carried their own memories, grief, and love for Lisa Marie and Elvis.
What if they didn’t like you? What if you said the wrong thing?
“You’ll love them,” Austin said suddenly, as if reading your mind. He reached over and took your hand, bringing it to his lips briefly before resting it on the centre console, intertwined with his. “Riley’s amazing, and the twins? You’ll love them too. They’re wild but in the best way.”
“I just hope they like me,” you admitted quietly.
Austin’s eyebrows shot up behind his sunglasses, and he scoffed. “Like you? Are you serious? They’re going to adore you. I promise. You’ve got nothing to worry about.”
You smiled despite yourself, his confidence in you easing some of your nerves.
The closer you got to Memphis, the more the landscape seemed to shift, the familiar streets turning into something softer, richer with history. As the signs for Graceland came into view, a sense of awe washed over you. Even from the road, you could see the wrought-iron gates adorned with musical notes, the flowers and tributes left by fans spilling onto the pavement outside.
“Wow,” you breathed, pressing your forehead to the window slightly as you looked out. “There’s already so many people here.”
Austin smiled faintly. “It’s like this every year, especially on his birthday. People come from all over the world. It’s kind of incredible.”
You turned back to him, watching the way his expression softened as he took in the sight. For a moment, you could see the deep connection he had to all of this—to Elvis, to the family, and to the people who still loved the man behind the legend.
“Ready?” you asked gently.
He exhaled, a small, determined smile breaking through. “Yeah. Let’s do this.”
As you pulled through the gates, fans caught sight of the car and began waving excitedly, their faces lighting up. Austin gave a small wave in return, his usual easygoing charm flickering back into place.
“Here we go,” he murmured, slipping off his sunglasses and shooting you a look that was part nervous, part hopeful.
You reached for his hand again, squeezing it tightly. “We’ve got this.”
And with that, the car rolled to a stop in front of Graceland, the iconic house standing tall and proud, waiting to welcome you both home.
The house was quiet when you first stepped inside—quieter than you expected for a place so legendary. The air felt heavy but not sad, more like it carried the weight of decades of love and memories.
Riley greeted you both almost immediately, her warm, welcoming smile making you feel at ease. She wrapped Austin in a tight hug, her voice soft as she murmured, “It’s so good to see you.”
“You too, Riles,” Austin replied, his voice equally low, as though they both knew how significant this moment was.
When Riley turned to you, her smile widened. “And this must be the one Austin’s been telling us about.”
You laughed lightly, a bit flustered, as you shook her hand. “It’s so nice to meet you. I’ve heard so much about you and your family.”
“Only the good stuff, I hope,” she teased, her blue eyes sparkling in a way that reminded you of Lisa Marie. She didn’t linger on pleasantries, though, and soon you were swept further into the house, where everyone was gathered.
Priscilla was next to greet you, looking as poised and elegant as ever. “Welcome,” she said kindly, shaking your hand. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.”
“The pleasure’s mine,” you replied sincerely, feeling Austin’s reassuring presence just a step behind you.
Jerry Schilling, a longtime friend of Elvis and the family, followed suit, his grin warm and familiar as he clapped Austin on the back. “It’s good to see you again, Austin. And welcome Y/N,” he added to you with a nod.
Before you could even respond, a pair of voices interrupted. “Are you her?”
You turned to see two faces staring at you with open curiosity—Harper and Finley. Both of them were stunning, with the same mischievous glint in their eyes that told you they were troublemakers in the best way.
“Uh… I think so?” you replied playfully, already warming to them.
Harper rolled her eyes and turned to Austin. “Why didn’t you bring her sooner? She looks cool.”
“Because I knew you’d scare her off immediately,” Austin shot back, smirking as he looped an arm around your shoulders.
“We’re not that bad,” Finley insisted, grinning. “We’ve decided we like you already, so you’re stuck with us now.”
You laughed, any lingering nerves quickly melting away. “I think I can handle that.”
Austin shot you a knowing look. “Told you.”
The introductions were rounded out by Riley’s husband, Ben, who gave you a friendly hug, and their daughter, Tupelo—a sweet, wide-eyed little girl who clung to her father’s leg but waved shyly at you. “She’s a little star,” Austin said with affection as he crouched down to say hello to her, making her giggle.
Riley had outdone herself. The dining room at Graceland had been beautifully set for a private family dinner. The house felt different at night, quieter and more intimate. It didn’t feel like a museum anymore—it felt like a home.
You sat beside Austin at the long dining table, the soft glow of candles dancing across everyone’s faces. The food was southern comfort at its finest: fried chicken, mashed potatoes, biscuits, and dishes that felt like they belonged on a family table rather than in a historic house.
Priscilla sat at one end of the table, a gracious matriarch keeping everyone engaged with her stories of Elvis, while Jerry chimed in with his own memories. They were stories that made you laugh, stories that tugged at your heart, and you could see how deeply they resonated with Austin.
“Your first time here, huh?” Harper asked, nudging you lightly from across the table as Finley buttered her fifth biscuit.
“Yeah,” you replied, smiling. “It’s incredible—everything I imagined and more.”
“You’ve gotta see it all tomorrow,” Finley added enthusiastically. “The lawn, the cars, the golf carts. You’re riding with us.”
Austin chuckled beside you. “Just don’t let them drive too fast. They’re a menace in those carts.”
Harper feigned offence. “We’re efficient. Big difference.”
You grinned, already feeling like you were part of the group. The twins’ energy was infectious, and Riley’s warm glances across the table told you she was glad you were here.
As dinner stretched on, you caught glimpses of Austin relaxing, laughing freely with Riley and Jerry, even teasing the twins. He looked at home here, as if the love in this place outweighed the grief that sometimes lingered.
Riley eventually leaned back in her chair with a satisfied sigh. “It’s so good to have you back, Austin. It’s been too long.”
Austin glanced around the table, his hand finding yours beneath the tablecloth. “It feels good to be back. Thanks for this, Riles.”
“You’ve got to stop thanking me,” she replied softly, her eyes kind. “You’re family. And this is home. Always.”
As the plates were cleared and conversation began to quiet, Jerry’s voice broke through the lull. “You know, it wouldn’t be a visit to Graceland without a little music.”
Austin looked up from his seat, caught slightly off guard. “Oh, I don’t know…”
“Oh, come on,” Harper chimed in, grinning as she leaned back in her chair. “You’re not getting out of this, Butler.”
Finley nodded, already on her feet. “I’ll grab the guitar.”
It didn’t take long for her to return, cradling one of Elvis’ most famous guitars like it was a treasure—because it was. She handed it to Austin carefully, and the room fell into an expectant hush as he adjusted it in his lap, running his fingers over the strings. The sight of him there, in Graceland, holding Elvis Presley’s guitar, sent a shiver down your spine.
“You sure about this?” Austin murmured, looking at Priscilla for confirmation.
She gave him a soft nod, her smile filled with approval. “Play something for us, Austin.”
The room was still as Austin settled himself, his focus sharpening. He strummed the guitar gently, the rich sound reverberating through the room like it belonged here—timeless and familiar. Each note seemed to carry a weight, a quiet reverence that filled the space. His movements were deliberate, his fingers gliding over the strings with care, like he was playing for more than just the people in the room—like he was honouring something bigger.
You watched him, completely captivated. The way his head bowed slightly, his fingers moving with precision and care, the quiet way he poured his heart into each note—it was everything.
When the song ended, the room was silent for a moment before applause broke out, led by Jerry. Riley smiled softly, her eyes glassy as she clapped. Priscilla looked both proud and wistful, while the twins practically bounced in their seats.
You couldn’t stop staring, the swell of love and admiration you felt practically overwhelming. Austin caught your gaze, his lips curving into a small, knowing smile as he set the guitar down gently.
“Are you swooning over there?” Harper teased, nudging you with her elbow.
Your cheeks burned, but you didn’t deny it. “Can you blame me?”
Austin chuckled, reaching for your hand as he stood. “Come on, baby. You’re making me blush.”
“Good,” you replied softly, squeezing his hand. “You deserve it.”
Sunlight poured through the windows of Graceland, filtering through the curtains in soft golden streaks. You stirred awake to the sound of soft footsteps, blinking as you realised Austin was already up. He stood by the window, looking out onto the sprawling lawn, his arms crossed loosely over his chest.
“Couldn’t sleep?” you murmured, your voice still thick with sleep.
Austin turned, his lips curving into a gentle smile as he crossed the room and sat beside you on the bed. “Not really. Just… taking it all in.”
You reached up, brushing your fingers along his jaw, still rough with morning stubble. “How are you feeling?”
“Better,” he admitted softly, leaning down to press a kiss to your forehead. “It’s a big day. I thought I’d show you around before everything kicks off.”
After breakfast—fresh biscuits and coffee prepared lovingly by the kitchen staff—Austin took your hand and guided you through Graceland. The house felt alive this morning, buzzing with energy as preparations for Elvis’ birthday celebration took place outside.
Austin led you room by room, his voice low as he told you stories about the making of the Elvis movie.
“This was where I spent hours just… trying to absorb it all,” he said as you stepped into the famous Jungle Room. The green shag carpet under your feet and the exotic decor made the space feel frozen in time.
You smiled, watching as Austin’s gaze softened. “Is it weird being back here?”
“A little,” he admitted, turning toward you. “But it’s good, too. This place meant so much to him, and I feel like it still does, even now.”
You both lingered there for a while before he led you outside, stopping by Elvis’ pink Cadillac. Austin ran a hand along the shiny paint, a soft smile playing on his lips.
“We shot a scene with a replica of this car,” he said. “But seeing the real thing? Nothing compares.”
“You know, I can’t even imagine what it must’ve felt like playing him,” you said softly, taking in the sight of the car and the house that loomed behind it.
Austin turned to look at you, his blue eyes warm as they met yours. “I just wanted to do him justice. For his family, for his fans. Standing here again… I feel like I can finally let some of that weight go.”
You stepped closer, slipping your hand into his. “You did more than justice, Austin. You made people see him as a person again, not just a legend. I think he’d be proud of you.”
Austin squeezed your hand, brushing a kiss to your temple. “I hope so.”
As the morning drifted into early afternoon, the family gathered on the lawn, the sounds of laughter carrying across the property. Fans had begun arriving outside the gates, leaving flowers, cards, and memorabilia to honour Elvis.
Harper and Finley wasted no time dragging you toward the golf carts. “C’mon, Y/N,” Harper called over her shoulder. “We’ve got fans to greet!”
“Don’t let them run you over!” Austin called with a grin, shaking his head as the twins bundled you into the back of a cart.
You laughed as Harper took the wheel, Finley sitting beside her, both of them grinning like mischievous devils. The cart lurched forward, zipping across the Graceland lawn, and you held on to the edge for dear life.
“Do you two have a licence for this thing?” you joked, laughing as the twins waved dramatically to the fans lined outside the gates.
“Golf carts don’t need licences!” Finley declared triumphantly, throwing up a peace sign to a group of cheering fans.
The energy was contagious. Some fans recognised you and waved excitedly, but most were focused on the twins, who were practically celebrities themselves. You waved alongside them, grinning as Harper slowed the cart to a stop so a little girl holding a bouquet of flowers could hand them to Finley.
“Thank you!” Finley called with a bright smile before turning to you. “See? They love us.”
You shot her an amused look. “You two are definitely trouble.”
“Good trouble,” Harper corrected, starting the cart again with a jerk that made you squeal.
From the lawn, you caught a glimpse of Austin standing beside Riley and Jerry, watching you with a fond expression. He shook his head with a smile, clearly entertained by the scene unfolding in front of him.
Later that afternoon, as the family gathered under the tented area set up on the lawn, Riley took the microphone. The crowd hushed, fans standing outside the gates peeking in through the openings.
“Thank you all for being here today,” Riley began, her voice warm but steady. “It means so much to us that we can celebrate my grandfather’s 90th birthday together. It’s a reminder of how much he was loved—and still is.”
The crowd applauded, and Riley turned to Austin with a smile. “It’s been a while since Austin’s been back, and it’s Y/N’s first time here. So, in honour of that, I think it’s only right they get to cut the birthday cake.”
You blinked, glancing at Austin as the crowd clapped. “Us?” you whispered.
Austin grinned, brushing a hand down your back as he stood. “Looks like we’re up, baby.”
Together, you walked to the table where the massive birthday cake—a beautiful, multi-tiered masterpiece—sat waiting. Austin picked up the knife, placing his hand over yours as the crowd watched eagerly.
“Ready?” he murmured, smiling down at you.
You nodded, your heart full as you both cut the first slice together. The crowd erupted into cheers, fans outside clapping and waving excitedly as cameras flashed.
Austin leaned in close, his voice soft. “Thanks for being here with me.”
You looked up at him, a warm smile spreading across your face. “There’s nowhere else I’d rather be.”
As the slice of cake was lifted, Harper’s voice broke through the moment: “Save some for us!”
You and Austin both laughed, the weight of the day replaced by love, laughter, and the unshakable feeling that you were exactly where you were meant to be.
happy wife happy life
pairing: kate laswell x fem!reader summary: welcome home, soldier tags/warnings: housewife kink, oral sex (f), reader is emotional<3, vaginal fingering, mommy kink, age difference, dom/sub, self indulgent, soft, praise kink, tit play, dacryphilia, service kink, face sitting & 69ing, kate isn't into penetration but reader is, scent kink, orgasm delay/control w.c: 2.4k
Kate is back.
She’s in one of those moods again, contemplative and quiet. You’ve seen it before, and though you haven’t been official for that long you’re starting to recognize a pattern.
Her back is tense, shoulders hiked as though still defensive. There’s a physicality about her that’s different when fresh off her ‘missions’, as you’ve taken to calling them affectionately. Knots in her that don’t fade until she’s properly well-fucked, sat in a bath and had you waiting on her.
“Had a good flight?” you ask, voice soft. The lights are dimmed, too. Nothing overhead. A linen candle burns on the coffee table while dinner cooks in the oven.
A game, almost. You, the housewife and she, the returning soldier. It would be all true and not just half true if not for the fact that you’d just finished your third year of university, but it’s fun nonetheless to pretend. Doting on Kate is the most fun you’ve had in a while.
“Long,” she sighs. Her boots go by the door, nice and tidy the way you like it. Happy wife, happy life, she’d joked once.
She steps quietly into the room, surveilling it like it’s got some hidden threat. You stand and wait for a moment, waiting for her to lose a fraction of the tension she’s holding and deem your apartment safe.
Clear.
When she acknowledges you, you step toward her and press your nose to her cheekbone, inhaling. Cotton deodorant, some sweat underneath it, the smell of some flowery conditioner they’ve probably got for the women on base.
Her arms find your back, smoothing up and down like the softness of you is something she’ll never get enough of.
“My girl,” she says affectionately against your cheek, lips a little chapped but still soft. Airplane air, you figure.
“I’m glad you’re back,” you murmur, stepping back just enough that you’re facing each other. “Want a bath?”
Kate hums, so you pad diligently to the bathroom and set up.
Little tealight candles, a heap of epsom salts for her muscles, her favourite bubble bath scent. You know it's her favourite because she used to compliment you on the way your skin smelled, the way the smell of ylang-ylang and cinnamon would drift up from your skin on some of your first dates.
Hot water for the epsom salts to dissolve and for her likely sore muscles. It’s a treat for you, too, to watch her sink in and groan. Makes you feel warm inside. Accomplished.
“Mm,” Kate hums, stepping out of her work pants. You try not to look at her panties, then her pussy, but you must fail because she laughs in the quiet of the bathroom. “Greedy girl. Be patient.”
She’s a little overgrown, and your mouth salivates. You turn so she can’t see your hungry expression and pull out some bath oil.
“Here,” you squeeze a few drops into the steaming water. “For your airplane skin.”
She tilts her head back, smiling at you. You take a seat at the edge of the tub, trying again not to look at her soft breasts peeking through the bubbles and once again failing.
“Missed me?” she closes her eyes, smiling stretching into a grin. Her arms leave the water and hold the sides of the tub, as if ready to pounce.
“I always miss you,” you say, trying to be sweet. Trying to ignore the steady pulse between your thighs.
“Mm?” she pokes one eye open, sinking a little lower into the bath, wetting her hair. “Is it you missing me or is it that naughty little pussy?”
You suck in a breath, heart flipping.
“It’s me,” you squeak.
Her eye squints as the apple of her cheek pulls up, smiling like a prideful lion. You feel her finger draw light circles on the exposed skin of your thigh, hand tilted towards you.
“Don’t lie,” she says, ignoring the way your breath stutters like someone’s punched you in the sternum. “That isn’t polite.”
She always knows exactly what you need, when you need it. Never bothers drawing you in and never has, she’s always dropped you right in the deep end.
Mommy. You breath out, skin prickling and hot. Sex was something odd for you; something you’d never been able to fully enjoy before Kate, not with your propensity for turning the act into something people usually don’t sign up for.
You’re a crier, is what it is.
Sex is vulnerability for you. A shedding of layers, an extension of tender trust and expectation of care you haven’t found much in strangers, and so casual never worked for you.
Kate wasn’t casual. She’d bent you till you broke the first week of knowing her, weeping fat tears onto a hotel pillow and saying thank you mommy, I love you mommy. Cracked you open and spilled your insides into the palm of her hand.
Not even a few months later and she knows she’s got you wrapped around her finger. In more ways than one.
“I really did miss you,” you breathe. Her fingers touch your knee, tapping idly.
“I know, sweetheart,” she closes her eyes again, tipping her head back. The line of her neck shines from the heat, illuminating faint scars and skin turned tan from hours in the sun.
God, you feel shameless. Your throat tightens, thighs coming together, clit swelling. Though her eyes are closed, Kate exudes a smugness you know is helping her unwind. Giving her that power helps the both of you. It’s a bonus that it feels so good.
You end up leaving her to soak. The lasagna looks good in the oven, steadily bubbling under the tinfoil. In two minutes, you’ll peel it off and let it crisp up, hoping Kate will touch your cheek and call you a good wife.
She emerges in a towel, clean and white and sprayed with your linen laundry scent. Her skin still steams a little, but her shoulders have relaxed and her neck isn’t so stiff.
“Looks good, babygirl,” she throws a terry cloth robe on and sits, letting you slide a plate full of lasagna and Caesar salad towards her.
“Thank you,” you tuck in. Cooking is nice, but nicer when it’s for Kate and exam stress is behind you. The freedom of time and the motivation to impress her really pushes you to do your best, and the feeling of gratification as she licks her fork rivals only the needy throb of your cunt.
“I thought I told you patience,” she raises a brow at you. “I can see you squirming.”
“Can’t help it,” you sigh, trying to lick your fork to tempt her.
“No? Do you need another lesson in patience?”
“Ah, no, no. I can be patient,” you don’t want another lesson; don’t want to see her stern tonight. Already your chest pinches with emotion, both her recent absence and the elation of seeing her again fighting a tug-of-war over your heart.
Doing the dishes takes a distinct amount of self control, but you manage it. Even though she stands beside you, smelling so good and wearing only a robe with her sternum exposed, you manage it.
She turns to you when the last plate is dried, when the lasagna is put away, and grabs your hips in a firm grip.
“Bedroom?”
Though you’ve been acting like a bitch in heat panting over her since she stepped in the door, you appreciate the check-in.
“Mhm.”
“Use your words.”
“Yeah, bedroom,” you’re barely finished saying it when she gently spins you, crowding up behind you and walking forward to push you in the direction of your bedroom.
It’s practically shared at this point, what with how often she’s here between her deployments.
Kate kisses the side of your neck, inhaling your skin and sighing like she’s saying finally.
Fuck if you aren’t feeling the same way.
“Kate,” you breathe, hands cupping over hers as she reaches up to squeeze your tits.
“Ah ah,” she tuts. “You know what to call me, my girl.”
“Mommy,” and it’s nearly a whimper.
You’re spun again, gently still, and then stripped of your dress. Kate rubs your sides appreciatively before she unclips your bra, letting your tits fall into her hands.
“Beautiful,” she smiles. Your underwear comes off next, her sure hands sliding them off and tapping your calves to get you to step out of them.
You stand naked in front of her, already hazy, already soaking and wetting your inner thighs.
“I’m gonna sit on your face, sweetheart,” she slowly pushes you, letting the back of your knees hit the bed first before your butt does. “Lay back for mommy.”
You lay back, scooting a bit up the bed to give her room.
“I’m going to use you, mkay?”
You nod.
“Words, babygirl.”
“Use me,” you breathe, skin tightening over your whole body, forming two points at your nipples and making you shiver. Kate crawls on top of you, turning to face your body when she reaches your head.
“Keep your hands at your sides,” she orders.
Though you can see her pussy, though it’s so fucking close to your face you can hardly stop yourself from moving, you wait like a good girl as she sheds her bathrobe and slowly lowers her hips.
She smells good. You’ve never expressed it out loud before for fear of judgment, but you love the way she smells.
Kate is particular about what she likes, and she’s taught you her preferences diligently. No fingers, nothing but your hot little tongue inside her.
You run the tip of your tongue around her clit, then toward her hole, spreading her lips with your tongue and licking between them, softly at first and then building pressure. The flat of your tongue rubs against the hard nub of her clit and makes her sigh with pleasure. Her bush tickles you a little.
“That’s good, sweetheart,” she swivels her hips a little as you push your nose between her folds, letting her grind down on it as you lap at her.
The wetness between your legs grows until you feel a damp spot under you, thighs rubbing together as she ignores your neediness in favor of reaching down to tweak your nipples.
“Mm, make mommy come and then I’ll give you a kiss,” she sighs.
You suck her clit into your mouth, teasing her a little with your tongue and feeling her thighs tense beside your head.
Wetness coats your nose, your cheeks, your mouth and chin. She tastes good, too.
You feel it the moment she starts to come, her clit pulsing against your tongue, hands gripping your breasts like anchors in a storm. You moan into her, knowing the vibrations are helping her alone.
“Good girl,” she pants, grinding out the last little aftershocks. “My sweet girl deserves a reward for a job well done.”
And finally, she leans forward and spreads your pussy lips with her fingers, diving in with the point of her tongue aimed for your clit.
“Mmm,” Kate moans as you lick her gently, returning the favor between your own legs. “She’s needy, isn’t she sweetheart?”
You moan against her again in agreement.
“If only you could see this desperate little clit,” her voice is pleased, amused. Smug again. “Jumping out at me, begging for attention.”
You don’t need to see it — you can feel it. Your clit juts out, sensitive and tender. The feeling of her wrapping her lips around it and sneaking two fingers below and into your hole makes tears sting at your eyes.
“Always so sensitive,” she murmurs. “That’s alright, let it out.”
It becomes harder to focus on your task, but you try. Her second orgasm builds much slower than the first, coming in tandem with yours.
“Wait ‘till I come again,” she warns.
You try to hold it, desperately spearing your tongue into her and rubbing your nose against her clit. She twitches against you, breathing harder, moaning.
When she does come, finally, you let yourself release and your tears mix with the wetness already on you.
“Fuck,” she curses. “That’s good, good girl.”
You shake, pleasure cresting in waves over you, body alive and singing and relishing in the feeling of her skin over yours.
“Mmmhn—” you pant, hands clenching at your sides.
Kate sits up, swinging a leg over and laying down beside you. Her hand finds your stomach, gliding over it with her nails and making it jump.
“Such a good girl,” she kisses your jaw, sucking a mark into it. Her fingers move from your stomach down to your cunt again, spreading you open and pressing inside.
You pant, tears squeezing out of your eyes and trembling from sensitivity.
“You’re going to give me another,” she sucks your earlobe. “One more, for mommy.”
“Yes, mommy,” your mouth falls open and you shout.
Her hand cups your pussy, two fingers curled inside you as her palm presses hard into your sensitive clit. She murmurs soft words into your ear, and though you can’t hear them well you let them shelter you as the storm of your pleasure builds and builds and builds—
Until you come apart in her hands again, crying out and arching your back and clenching your hole against her fingers.
You sag against the bed as you finish, shivering with some aftershocks and sensitively, whining as she pulls her fingers out.
“So good for mommy,” she praises. She lifts her hand and sucks her fingers clean, leaning forward and doing the same to your mouth.
You end up in a messy kiss, more licking than anything.
“What do you say?”
“Thank you, mommy.”
“Mm, my good girl. Ready for a shower?”
Another aspect of your relationship you hadn’t been able to find elsewhere — she cares for you after, too. You know it's normal, expected even. But it still touches you, still fills you with a kind of glowing warmth that’s impossible to hide from her.
Especially when she’s relaxed now. When she’s letting you scrub her back and doing the same for you, filling the bathroom with that same scent. Ylang-ylang, cinnamon.
The sheets are a mess, but you drag a quilt over them and resolve to do them in the morning.
Kate curls around you, cocooning you against the world.
“I love you, my girl,” she kisses your cheek.
“I love you too, Kate. Goodnight,” you yawn.
“Goodnight, sweetheart.”
(❆⋆.˚) christmas miracle !
🕸🕷✮⋆ [jaemin x reader] ...୨♡୧... wc. 2.3k w. cursing, slight angst, lmk if you find any! fluff ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁 .ᐟ
august 22nd, 2019
“jaem?” you called out, your voice barely a whisper as your head laid on his chest, listening to his heartbeat among the comfortable silence. he hummed in response, his hand continuing its caresses in your hair. “i don’t think i can do this anymore,” you mumbled, voice on the verge of breaking.
you felt his chest rise and fall with a sigh “i know” your boyfriend answered, his tone matching yours.
“i love you” you said, unconsciously cuddling closer to him as if you were scared of letting go. you were, because you knew that if you did it would be the last time you would be this close to him in a very long time.
“i know” he repeated as he held you closer “i love you too, and i’m sorry”
“i know” you mimicked, rising from your previous position while still sitting close to him “i don’t doubt that you love me, jaem, it's just… i can’t go on with a relationship where you disappear for a week and then call me like nothing happened.” your hand found his, your fingers intertwining. “i love you, but you’re not opening up to me and i can’t understand why you do the things that you do.”
jaemin listened attentively, his heart breaking further with each of your words. he knew it was true, all of it, but he wasn’t capable of talking about what was going on when he couldn’t even understand it himself. he felt embarrassed to tell you that there were days where he couldn’t bring himself to get out of bed to eat, much less to grab his phone to call you. when two days had gone back with zero contact and he felt a little better, he was way too ashamed to reach out and just waited long enough that he could pretend he hadn’t spent days crying on his bed for no reason.
he loved you more than anything in the world, more than he loved himself, even. he also knew you would never shame him for feeling the way he did, but you would worry. you would put aside your life to help him get his back, and he could never ask you to do that, he loved you too much.
“you deserve so much better,” he spoke after a few seconds of silence, his free hand moving to cup your cheek. “i’m sorry i couldn’t be what i promised you to be”
“you were everything and more” you smiled sadly, feeling your eyes burning with tears “i need you to promise me something”
“what is it, love?” he mumbled as he caressed your cheek with his thumb.
“if you still want me when the time is right, promise you will call me. i don’t care if it’s ten years from now and we haven’t spoken since, promise me you will reach out” the tone of your words was so serious that it left no doubt on him that you meant every one of them.
“i promise i will” he gave you a weak smile, moving his hand to place it in front of you and extending his pinky finger towards you.
you interlaced your fingers with his, bringing your hand up to kiss it and seal the promise. “i should go home now,” you said weakly, tearing your hands apart from each other to wipe away the tears on your cheeks.
jaemin wanted to beg you to stay, at least until the morning so he could hold you through one more night. but he couldn’t, he knew too well that one more night would make you back away from your decision and he couldn’t hurt you any further.
“want me to drive you?” he asked, his hand feeling cold without your warmth.
“i’ll get an uber, don’t worry” you gave him a sad smile as you grabbed your bag from the floor before walking towards him and cupping his cheek, crouching slightly to place your forehead against his. “i love you”
“i love you more” he answered, a single tear escaping his eyes as he looked at you one last time before you walked out of his room for the last time.
…
december 18th, 2024
jaemin couldn’t wipe the smile off of his face as he walked out of his friends’ apartment. it had been an afternoon full of laughter and happiness, one of the many that had slowly healed his heart over the years. he waved goodbye to jeno, who was getting into his car to drive home. he had offered him a ride, but jaemin felt the need to walk in the cold weather, it wasn’t that long of a walk to his apartment.
even when he had been as happy as he had, he couldn’t deny that watching his friends be coupley and cute had struck a nerve he didn’t even know he had. he didn’t know he wanted all of that, someone to tease, to kiss and to have stupid ugly sweater competitions with, but he did, and that could only mean one thing. he was ready, and the time was finally right.
that’s how he found himself standing at the edge of the river, overlooking the scenery as his thumb hovered over the call button. he stared at his phone screen as he chewed at the inside of his lip, he never deleted the picture he had for your contact; a picture of 19 year old you with your cheeks being squished by his large hand.
he smiled at the sight, feeling his heart squeeze with a mixture of nostalgia and guilt. would you still want him to contact you even though it had been five years since you broke things off?
“ i don’t care if it’s ten years from now and we haven’t spoken since, promise me you will reach out”
your voice resonated in his head and his hand moved on its own to press the button that had been haunting him for the past five minutes. he took the phone up to his ear, trying his hardest to breathe properly and maintain his calm as the tone ringed.
what if you had changed your phone number? what if you had a partner? what if you simply didn’t want to hear from him after this long? what if he had changed way too much for you? what if-
“hello?” his thoughts were cut off by a voice on the other line. your voice. “hi?” you asked again, and he had to snap off of his thoughts.
“yn” he blurted out, his voice sounding completely breathless. he didn’t expect you to know who it was, but he didn’t seem to be able to say anything else. there was silence for a couple of seconds, and he thought he heard your breath hitch.
“jaemin?” you spoke, sounding as if you had just gotten a call from a ghost.
“yeah, it's me” he breathed out, cautious with his words. he couldn’t say he wasn’t completely scared shitless in that moment.
“hi” you answered, and he could hear the smile on your astonished voice.
“hi” shit, he really had to start talking more. “you didn’t change your phone number” no shit.
“i didn’t” you spoke “you did”
“i changed a lot of things” the boy spoke, a breathless chuckle escaping your lips.
“you kept my contact” you remarked, and he couldn’t understand how he could be so happy even when his heart was about to fall out of his ass.
“i promised i would call you” if i still wanted you. “so here i am, i hope it's not too late”
“it’s not” you assured, feeling speechless at how he had actually called you.
“good. uhm, i was wondering if you’d like to come get coffee with me sometime” he asked, his hand going to scratch the nape of his nape as it did when he was nervous.
“i would love that, just tell me when” a smile took over his face immediately, feeling incredibly grateful to whatever saint had made you the nicest, most beautiful soul that could’ve ever stepped foot on earth.
“is tomorrow too soon?” he asked softly, knowing that his request was a little greedy, but he had spent five years without hearing your voice and he didn’t think he could stop now.
jaemin heard you chuckle from the other line “no, it’s no” he almost cheered at the sound of your voice “wanna meet at sunrise café at like 11?”
“of course, that’s perfect” he nodded, even though you couldn’t see him “do you need me to pick you up?”
“nah, i work just around the corner” you answered, being followed by silence. the boy didn’t know what else to say, he didn’t trust himself to say anything else without going overboard. “i'll see you there then?”
“yeah, i’ll see you there” he said, being sure that you could hear his smile in his voice. “bye, yn”
“bye, jaem” you said before hanging up. fuck, he had missed the way his name sounded when you said it.
…
jaemin found himself sitting in a booth inside the café you had agreed to meet in. nostalgia was flooding his body, remembering all the times you had sat on that same seat when you were together. as the minutes passed, he began to feel uneasy. had you planned on standing him up as revenge for all the times he did all those years ago? no, you weren’t like that at all. maybe you had forgotten?
“hi” his attention was called back into reality by your voice again. he lifted his eyes to meet yours, and he could have screamed right then and there. he had always thought you couldn’t get prettier than you were, but he had no idea what he was talking about. the woman that stood in front of him was a work of art, an angel that was blessing him with the ability to look at her.
“yn, hi” he muttered breathlessly as he stood up. he was too stunned to know what to do now that he had you in front of him. you smiled at him and he felt his heart stop, you were fucking unreal. “here, go ahead” he muttered as he politely moved a chair back for you to sit, causing you to thank him.
“it’s nice to see you after so long” you said once you were sitting in front of each other.
“it is” he smiled, still trying to calm his racing heart “five years is a really long time, i’m sorry i didn’t contact you sooner” his smile turned apologetic “i was in a really rough spot, but i’m better now”
“there’s nothing to apologize for” you reassured “you needed time, i understood that” jaemin felt like he could start crying on the spot. you had always been so understanding and warm, even when he didn’t deserve it at all. “now tell me, what have you been up to?”
“well, i’m a photographer now” he said, marking the beginning to a long, overdue conversation about life through the last five years.
hours passed with both of you sitting in the coffee shop, long enough for you to feel bad about being there for so long and deciding to go on a walk along the river bank, seemingly not getting enough of each other’s company.
“so yeah, that didn’t really work out” you shrugged as you concluded your story about your last boyfriend, who jaemin had asked about very casually.
“he sounds like an asshole” he chimed in, eliciting a laugh to escape your lips.
“he kind of was, yeah” you had to agree, nodding softly. “i’m glad that’s over, to be honest”
“i’m glad it’s over, too,” jaemin blurted out, his eyes widening slightly at the realisation of the implication of his words.
you raised your eyebrows with an amused smile “i’m sure you are”
…
it had been a little under a week since you and jaemin had reconnected, and he could say that he had never felt so happy in his life. he knew you felt the same, he could see it in your smile and your shiny eyes.
“so yeah, i was going to go visit family but i got snowed in in seoul” you shrugged your shoulders as you recounted your failed christmas plans. “same thing happened to my cousin, it’s like a curse.”
jaemin listened intently as he looked at your pretty face, an idea popping into his head “you could come spend christmas with my friends and i” his voice was nervous, unsure of if he was moving too fast.
“are you still friends with jeno and them?” you asked, and he nodded, causing you to smile. you took a few seconds to weigh out your options, coming into a conclusion rather quickly. “then i would love to”
jaemin smiled brightly as he continued walking, his hand slowly reaching for yours as he interlaced your fingers wordlessly.
…
“this is crazy, i would never have thought i would see you together again” jeno spoke as he watched you and jaemin sitting next to each other on heachan’s couch, a little too close for it to be casual.
“some things change and others stay the same” you shrugged, smiling sweetly as you turned your head to look at jaemin, who was already staring at you.
“this is sickeningly sweet, i'm gonna go help in the kitchen” the taller boy grimaced, standing up to walk away, leaving you and jaemin alone in the living room.
“i don’t think we stayed the same, you know” he commented, looking at you with lovesick eyes. “i would never do the things i did back then without giving you an explanation”
“promise?” you asked, a smile on your perfect lips as you extended your pinky towards him.
“promise” he answered, intertwining your fingers and leaving a kiss to seal the promise.
you mimicked his action and wordlessly stared into his eyes, marvelled at the way the christmas lights reflected in his eyes, looking just like stars.
it was surreal to be there with him after so long, but it was the perfect christmas miracle.
I appreciate the information but a) I did in fact also test them around the apartment for several hours. The elliptical was meant to be an extra stress test to see if the heel stop would press wrong on my ankle with more movement. b) I tested and wore them with my recommended orthotics, as assessed by my podiatrist earlier this year.
What I would have and should have done was wear them for a full day in the apartment, except it’s fucking winter and I haven’t had closed toed shoes that don’t hurt me in forever and I had to make a choice between “definitely hurt yourself today”, “wear socks and sandals even though it’s fucking wet and you’ll be sopping and miserable”, and “trust that you’ve probably tested the shoes enough even though you didn’t spend a full day in them”. Next pair I’m doing differently. To your point, I should absolutely have used the treadmill instead, I picked the elliptical because I figured it was enough movement to prove whether I was being poked wrong in back, while still being lower impact so I wouldn’t pay for it too badly. I will know better now.
“The worst part is, the bitch who did this to me isn’t even sorry!” - me, about me, who inflicted shoe shopping on me for my own good
