pairing: miyawaki sakura x staff!reader

summary: reader meets her bias (and sakura adorably spirals)

note: converted an old little marvel fic of mine hahaha, first time writing for kpop so this is rought, kinda dusting off the keyboard! hope it’s okay!

sakura was enamored the moment you set foot in the practice room, with a pretty smile and equipment ready to film the girls' content, but it was obvious she wasn’t the only one.

as soon as you were officially introduced to the members and staff, it became an entire challenge to win the pretty camerawoman over. during schedules where you were assigned to them, each girl took the chance to get your attention. chaewon would do her cutesy fierce thing, yunjin brought out her loud and loser-coded type of charm which consisted of the lamest pick-up lines known to man, even kazuha started throwing her charming smiles and wearing crop tops more often!

sakura even noticed that while out at events, other idols stared a little too long at her camerawoman. the guests at eunchae star diary wouldn't even be subtle about their glances, and the maknaes were a menace!

she wasn’t worried though, after all these months she had your routine down. you would start by politely declining all those who sought you out with the same awkward giggle, your trademark sympathetic smile, and walk away, it was a waltz sakura loved to see every time.

now sakura wasn’t dumb, she knew it was her who you liked. every early morning now consisted of coffee runs and every night had you sneaking in street food plus small gaming sessions with your favorite member. but still, sakura’s fear of ultimately ruining such an authentic friendship kept her from acting on her feelings, and not to mention that it could affect the great work relationship. she concluded that sitting by and watching everyone try and fail to have you would be a cost necessary.

scratch that, why was there a tall walking sunshine in the cafeteria and why was she making you laugh? wait, were you blushing? you never blush with her!

sakura sat there with what felt like a permanent pout, forcing herself to not just walk over and interrupt whatever you both so vividly talked about. i mean, how funny could they be? she kept glancing over to see when your rejecting routine would start, the awkward giggle, the pity laugh, and walking away.

but it never came, instead, what sakura saw from afar was for certain a giggle, but, it was flirty? god forbid what the other idol was typing on your phone was their number… this couldn’t go on for longer, and after what felt like an eternity you walked away with a goofy grin plastered on your face.

the veteran idol quickly walked over to the corner, disguising her intentions with a false interest in the coffee machine. “hey tsuki, haven't seen you since our fearless kkura episode!”, extending her hand to the other, “oh, kkura-sunbaemin! i got invited to do some dance challenges!”, she answered with a bright smile.

‘fukutomi tsuki? that’s okay, sakura thought, no big deal, except that’s the idol you’ve declared over and over again having a massive crush on. and you were barely five minutes prior talking to them and blushing and giggle- well sakura was officially spiraling.

three days, it would be three whole days of tsuki coming over to hybe and flirting with you, and you’ve been living for it. after that small talk shared in the cafeteria, the le sserafim member couldn’t have expected just how infuriating all of this would become, more so, heart-wrenching. but, sakura was the one to put up the boundary on your friendship, it was her decision and she would stand by it!

day one was simple enough; you had been assigned to show tsuki the different practice rooms and help her not get lost, which the idol took as valuable time to throw some smooth lines your way and make you blush endlessly. ‘just a blush, a stupid little blush’, sakura kept repeating to herself.

“don’t you think she should film these challenges with her own staff?”, sakura lamely started, “who?” you questioned.

“tsuki… matter of fact i don’t think she has the stamina to even do our choreos, i can though… and who wants to be so tall? should’ve gone to the Lakers instead of here!”, sakura declared, now aggressively gesturing to solidify just how baffled she is. she didn’t catch the adoring gaze you threw her way, much less your beaming smile, that cherry blossom was also so animated.

“i’m just saying, a little overrated if you ask me.”, you only laughed and looked at her with even more adoration, “it is overrated my cherry, so lame, you are so much cooler and dance endlessly!”, maybe it was an exaggeration on your end, but it did bring back a smug and happy sakura.

day two was much harder. after having spent all your day with tsuki, it's easy to say you got pretty close. close enough to be constantly touching each other, and sakura’s eyes couldn’t move away from it. the way tsuki’s hand rested on your lower back, going out of her way to play with the rings on your fingers. the cherry blossom was seeing red, or green, or whatever the idiom yunjin kept teasing her with. she was jealous.

“fukutomi, you know you can let her take a breather right?”, sakura knew she sounded piteous, but she couldn’t stop herself.

“cherry!”, you exclaimed, “what’s the matter with you?”, ‘great’, sakura thought, ‘now i’m getting scolded’

“it’s- it’s nothing, just odd that they have only you putting in so much work… it’s getting late anyway, want to continue the game through from last time?”, if sakura’s week wasn’t bad enough, your answer was the confirmation it needed, “i’m sorry cherry, but you’re acting rude, and i promised tsuki a night out. maybe next time?”

like a sad little kicked kitten, sakura got up, “that’s okay, i’ll go to my room, night tsuki, goodnight” the older idol could feel her chest tighten, but still, shot you her usual grin, and left. the stupid tall blonde was leaving tomorrow anyway, and you’ll be back to normal.

it was already day three, the glorious friday sakura had been anticipating, also the day fukutomi tsuki would stop showing up at hybe, hopefully never visit again.

the shorter idol quickly got bored of waiting for practice to start and went out into the hallway, stopping herself after hearing tsuki’s and chaewon’s voices.

“while i prefer not meddling with my member's relationships, maybe don’t ask her out?” chaewon said, knowing all too well how territorial a certain crocheter could be.

“she doesn’t seem to be with anyone though chaewon-sunbaemin, she’s cute and i think she likes me, i don’t understand the problem” tsuki rebutted, seemingly annoyed.

“i’m just saying, wouldn't you be too busy with promotions for a relationship -“ chaewon started but was interrupted by tsuki, “who said anything about relationships? maybe i just want a little distraction every once in a while.”

that was all sakura needed to hear before walking the corner and coming in between her leader and fellow idol, ears red from frustration. “i think it’s better if you leave early today, i’ll let your manager now we got enough footage.” she coldly stated while chaewon only watched and the other idol just nodded, walking away. none of them noticing how you had followed sakura after seeing her walk out of the practice room.

“why are you dragging me?!” sakura all but yelled while holding onto her now even redder ear, which was caused by you pulling her to a nearby room. words couldn’t even describe the flabbergasted look you were giving her, “oh i’m sorry, are you surprised by this? i’m still, on the whole, WHY would you even speak to another idol that way? anyone could have heard and spread false narratives”, you couldn’t even try lowering your voice.

by now you had already gotten up close to her, meanwhile the pro-idol could only continue inspecting the floor, too embarrassed to even look you in the eyes. she mumbled some nonsense in the hope of giving up on the incoming conversation, but after a glance at your worried, but also very pissed off eyes, she repeated herself louder “she said disgusting things about you…”

sighing, “kkura, it doesn’t matter what anyone says about me, you can’t be going around defending ‘my honor’ like that!”, but that only seemed to add fuel to the fire. “yes it matters and yes i can! all she’s done all week is take your entire time, make you laugh the only way i can, and then say you could be some distraction?… as if you aren't someone to treasure as if she could just barge in here and take you away from me!”

that was it, that’s the reason the usually relaxed member was being an irrational baby, she was jealous?

“cherry, would you please look at me?”, you asked in the soft tone reserved only for her. sakuda looked up with small angry tears watering her eyes, “kkura, i understand why you put a boundary to our friendship, and also why tsuki’s comment got to you, but i can’t do much here if you won’t allow me.” you finished, trying to be as delicate with the topic as possible.

with an inhale and a puffed chest, sakura finally spoke up, “i know this won’t be the easiest thing to deal with, with busy schedules and what-not, but, you have never made me feel as a burden, all you ever done is understand and accept me, with that in mind, could i please take you on a date?”, she finished asking while taking both of your hands.

“you’re such an idiot cherry, of course, i’ll be your date, only after we make sure tsuki doesn't go off and tell the managers about how you kicked her out!” you laughed, sakura knew she wasn’t going to live that down anytime soon, but it was worth it, she finally got her pretty lady.

Sweet Like Candy is Sena's debut mini-album, making her the fourth and final member of VENUS to debut solo. With a track list of eight songs, Sena performed the title tracks "Exes" and "Get Him Back" for a total of six weeks across various music shows and concert appearances. Exes would go on to win three music show awards, and Get Him Back would earn two.

With a star-studded all-female producing team, Sena's debut mini album will feature tracks produced by the acclaimed producing duo SODA, one of Japan's most popular idols, Kaori, Evangeline's leader Namra AKA angeleyes, the producing trio of Venus' sister group SNS Mika AKA M.ka, Yuki, and Piper, MORNINGSTAR member Eris, Kaleina from KRUSH, Hiro from LUCKY, Love AKA lovelies from REJECTS, and her always supportive groupmates Chloee Lee, Baebi, and Klara Blix.

Despite its divisive reception, Sweet Like Candy made a notable splash in the music scene. On its first release day, It sold over 1.8 million copies, showcasing Sena's shockingly strong fan base and the anticipation surrounding her solo debut. The album continued to perform well, reaching a total of 4 million copies sold.

The album's title tracks, "EXES" and "Get Him Back," quickly became fan favorites. "EXES" shot to the top of the Gaon chart, holding the number one spot for an impressive 20 days before "Get Him Back" entered the top ten and subsequently took over the number one position for 25 days. OO1. Let's start off with the fact Sena's debut showcase SOLD OUT! All 15,000 seats were filled with constellations, her closest friends, and some other idols. You already know all of Venus was there cheering her on. They all made little signs to show their support. Klara wore a cute little headband with Sena's face on it that she and Elliot of Pushing Daisies; it was all very cute and a much-needed moment for Constellations.

Shockingly, Bliss was there to show her support alongside HautePink members Misun and Fame, which caused a lot of heated debate on constellation Twitter and some fan wars between them and Coutures, but what's new there? Not only were the Venus girls there but a whole bunch of idols came to support their favorite fake maknae! SEE WHO WAS AT SENA'S SHOWCASE IN HER INSTA DUMP!

OO2. Sena did a lot of interviews for her debut! She was on PSICK SHOW, The Kstar Next Door, Buzzfeed UK, and Hong Seokcheon's Jewel Box! This girl was everywhere and capturing the hearts of literally everyone she interacted with. She also got her own variety show, "Sweet Like Sena," where she'd basically try to make candy from scratch every episode and fail miserably. She'd have some guests on the show, which caused some really fun and iconic moments, like when Klara joined her to make rock candy. They literally made the candy so hard it was like a rock, resulting in the girls losing their minds as they tried to see who could break the candy first. This was the first time Sena really got to show her variety skills and she did not disappoint!

OO3. While on PSICK SHOW, they repeatedly tried to get her to spill who the album was about, and she would not give it up! Either she'd laugh it off or answer with, "I think it's obvious. Listen to the songs." with a smirk on her face. There were a lot of speculations from fans, but most concluded that the album is either about Yeojun of Pushing Daisies; they did major detective work to come to this conclusion, like, building timelines based on posts, deleted posts, and when Sena and Yeojun were seen together or a member of Arm Candy due to the on the nose title of the album.

"I don't think it matters who it's about. It just matters that it's good," Sena would say during her PSICK interview as she played with the ends of her hair and puckered her lips at the camera, "but some of you guys are riiight!" She'd teased, laughing at herself and covering her mouth.

OO4. Every encore stage, she did something special like pulling her Venus members on stage with her, a tradition for Venus solos at this point, inhaling helium from some balloons to pitch her voice during a stage, dressing like a cat for one of them, and most famously letting her backup dancers sing while she danced which was a hit with fans. Her live vocals were praised for her stability, though she was trashed for an encore performance of "Get Him Back" where she was a bit pitchy and out of breath, but in her defense she was tired so!

OO5. Not many scandals! The only real notable ones were her outfits being "too revealing" or "try hard" which...wasn't a big deal. It stayed in the stan twitter bubble relatively so Sena never saw any of it despite being very active on social media.

The other scandal involved none other than our favorite DeepDive boy, Finn Lee! The pair were spotted out and about together A LOT, like if Sena was spotted by fans, Finn was right there behind her. Though they would consistently say they were just friends, they were also seen hugging and hanging onto each other outside of a club, which caused a bit of a stir. Still, they never cleared it up with fans, and Mydol never released a statement. This just wasn't at the top of the priorities list lol!

OO5. OVERALL! SENA HAS A GREAT TIME! She was always glowing when she was on stage or at fansigns and giving it her all every performance. It was a breath of fresh air for constellations fighting for their lives just a few months ago. It was really a good time, genuinely. Everyone was pretty happy and supportive of their girl, and she was so happy with how everything turned out! Despite not having much creative control over her music videos and outfits, she was super proud of how the songs turned out and how it all went about. Pretty smooth and overall happy era!

ATEEZ AT THE ELLE STYLE AWARDS

Nyang-Teez members steal an entire nation's attention after both received awards

The Elle Style Awards ceremony held in Seoul offered awards to two members of the performance powerhouse group ATEEZ, with Best K-Pop Icon being handed to main dancer Choi San and Artist of The Year going to lead vocalist Min Himari. The masters of ceremony praised the bandmates for their numerous achievements in the past year alone, ranging from the unforgettable Coachella performances that carved them in the industry's history to their influential fashion.

The older member is known for incredible duality between his soft everyday demeanor and the demonic stage persona that seemingly takes over his entire body, contrasting with a golden voice that reverberates through one's soul. San's visuals look crafted by the most skilled sculptor and have taken over the internet more than its fair share of times along with a simplistic sense of fashion that somehow seems like high couture on him. The dancer released an unforgettable performance to the song 'Warriors' by Imagine Dragons which showcased his incredible acting talents and bodily control, prior to co-choreographing the group's most recent comeback 'Work'.

He is the very first idol originating from Namhae and was later selected to be its public relations ambassador in 2021, undoubtedly inspiring young people from small towns such as his to pursue their dreams through hard work just as he has. While there had not been an official announcement from the fashion house yet, he made his fashion debut at the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda show and later went on to attend Fashion Week with them.

The maknae without doubt embodies the word artist itself, having several paintings on permanent display in galleries along with the series Death's Game using her largest artwork in a pivotal episode all the while obtaining the valued title of Ace in reference to her mastery of the industry's every facet. Holding the position of lead vocalist with an angelic voice gifted by the heavens themselves the young woman gives life to their tracks and even simple covers, though she is also able to deliver sharp raps riddled with flow changes. Performance cannot be overlooked as her ease in various dance styles makes every movement of her body impossible to look away from, the powerful stage presence from such a delicate looking idol made her the last 'Demon Line' member, known for hypnotizing the audience akin a siren.

The acting scene saw her impressive debut alongside bandmate Jeong Yunho the previous year in the drama 'Where We Fall', her performance shattering the heart of many while her vocals on the original soundtrack brought tears to viewers' eyes. Suga was given the title 'Hand of Midas' for exceptional musical skills, which was later passed down to his younger sister as people began noticing their shared lyrical genius and carefully crafted harmonies that intertwined perfectly with each track without ever overshadowing it.

HYUNSUK. whenever you were around, this man became even more of a giggly mess than he already was. you’d clicked as soon as you’d met and lately, you’d been hanging out more and more, never getting bored of each other but not quite ready to put a label on your relationship just yet. this particular day, you were hanging out at his studio - his flattering excuse to hang out had been that he needed inspiration for his next song and your presence would give him just that. he’d been working on his song for about five minutes when he turned to you, saying he was unable to concentrate with you around. clearly, he hadn’t tried to keep the charade up for long. you told him you’d try to be as undistracting as possible but he shook his head and said he wanted to spend time with you anyway. and that’s how you found yourself engaged in an aegyo battle with hyunsuk, the goal being to make the other cringe as much as possible. you realized right there how whipped you must’ve been for him, considering his aegyo didn’t make you cringe at all, but rather made him all the more endearing to you. so much adoration for him washed over you that, without thinking, you placed your palms on the sides of his face and pressed a kiss to the top of nose. you quickly pulled away, both of your faces turning a deep shade of red as realization of what you’d just done dawned on you. after three seconds of looking stunned, he fell into an umpteenth burst of giggles and asked with a grin, “what was that, y/n?”. you hid your face in your hands and mumbled that it was nothing. “just ignore it,” you said. “i don’t think i want to ignore it,” he said, a smile still playing on his lips, but the lightheartedness of his tone did nothing to hide the meaning behind his words. you felt your breath hitch in your throat as his eyes drifted down from your eyes to your lips, and this, ladies, gentlemen and non-binaries, is how you had your first kiss with choi hyunsuk.

JIHOON. treasure finally had a day off and jihoon had insisted on taking you out for a shopping date. (when he’d called it that, his usual confident facade had crumbled just a bit and his cheeks had reddened as he finally fully admitted to his intentions with you.) you’d told him to spend the day relaxing at the dorms or with his family, but he’d been adamant on taking you out, promising he’d pay for everything and anything you wanted as a thank you for waiting so long to hang out with him. he took you to a shopping mall in the fancy part of seoul and you had one of the best lunches of your life there - you weren’t sure if the food was just that amazing, or if it was because the boy you were with made everything a thousand times better. after that, you’d strolled from boutique to boutique, you too shy to ask for anything, but him making up for that by constantly handing you a bunch of clothes for you to try on. you grew more and more confident as you tried more outfits on, pretending the changing rooms were your personal runway as jihoon clapped for the outfits he particularly liked - although he found you so pretty, you could wear the most disgusting piece of clothing on earth, he’d still think you were incredibly beautiful. by the end of the day, you had a wardrobe full of new amazing outfits, and you wondered how jihoon still had a cent left in his bank account. you insisted on paying for coffee as if that changed anything, and he’d said it wasn’t necessary but he found it endearing how resolute you were about getting him that latte. as you waited in line to order, you noticed how he was carrying all of your bags without a single complaint, and you were just so grateful for him in that moment that you leaned in and pressed a peck to his cheek, muttering a small ‘thank you’ as you pulled away. as soon as he’d felt your lips, his heart had started beating like crazy, but he didn’t want to lose his cool in front of you so he simply looked down at you and said, “i should take you out more often if this is how you’ll thank me.” let’s just say you went on many, many more dates after that.

YOSHI. after not seeing you for a few weeks, yoshi missed you more than he wanted to admit (even though he’d tell anyone who’d listen just how much he missed you). you knew he was busy with comeback preparations and told him you could wait, but one afternoon, he decided to sneak out of practice, knowing he’d get told off by his leaders and managers but missing you too much to care. he made sure you were actually free that day and told you to meet at your favorite hang-out spot, an underground arcade and food court. his heart was pounding at the idea of seeing you again after such a long time, and when his eyes finally found you, arms crossed as you waited for him at the entrance of the building, a huge grin spread onto his face. you could tell something was different by the way he hugged you when he got to your level - the hug was a bit longer, a bit tighter than usual, and you felt your heart swell when you realized that maybe, just maybe, he liked you the same way you liked him. you pulled away after a few seconds, his arms still around you as you smiled at each other. you did all the things you usually did: compete on the dance game machines (he always won) and on the car racing machines (you always won), then tried to win the other a stuffed toy from the claw machines (neither of you ever did), then ate an unhealthy amount of french fries as you sipped on a strawberry milkshake and he on a vanilla one, even though you always stole a bit from each other, and both ended up with a strawberry-vanilla shake. everything you did was the same as usual - but it felt different. his eyes lingered on your face, his hands found a way to sneak themselves around your waist. when you decided to take a few pictures at the photobooth, he insisted that you sit on his lap rather than side by side like usual, and you did, wrapping your arms around his neck as he held you firmly by the waist. after two shots, you decided to take your courage in your hands and finally do something about this tension between the two of you, so you leaned in to press a kiss on his cheek. but he must’ve felt your stare on him, so just as you leaned in close to him, he turned his face, and your lips ended up on his. you both pulled away at the same time, the photobooth taking a picture of your stunned expressions. however, his shock quickly turned into giddiness as he added another coin to start the booth again, and just as the lights went off, he kissed you on the lips, on purpose this time. “that way, we have pictures of our last seconds as friends and of our first seconds as a couple,” he’d explained afterwards.

JUNKYU. this was another normal day for you and your best friend: just hanging out on his bed, laying in increasingly random but comfortable positions, stalking your old classmates on facebook or watching niche asmr videos for hours and ordering your comfort food when your stomach growls became too loud and painful to ignore. this time, you were separately scrolling through tiktok, only ever talking to show the other something you think they’d like. you stumbled upon a new trend, one where two friends sat together and the one making the tiktok kissed their friend when certain lyrics of the song played, hoping they will kiss them back. you glanced at junkyu - maybe he didn’t know the trend, because the sound coming from your phone hadn’t seemed to catch his attention. it painfully reminded you of just how much you’d been wanting to kiss your best friend immediately. how could you not when he was so adorable? wiping the corner of your lips when you ate messily, the way he laughed when you made stupid jokes, his warm hugs whenever you had to go home; it all made you fall more and more for him, but like any person with feelings for their best friend, you knew it was risky to admit them to him. so you stayed quiet - until that day, at least. you thought, “if he doesn’t want to kiss me, at least i can play it off as doing the trend.” so you sat up and asked him to do the same, sitting at the edge of the bed together. you prompted your phone on one of his shelves, making sure the audio and video were cropped right before you pressed play and ignoring him as he bugged you with questions. “you’ll see, just sit there and uh… listen to the audio. listen carefully, okay?” you instructed quietly. he obediently did as told, an excited expression on his face. when he realized he knew this song and what lyrics came next, a huge grin spread onto his lips, and before he knew it, you were leaning in and kissing him. neither of you knew that the other had been waiting for this exact moment, but he kissed you back instantly, even pulling you back in when you started leaning away and smiling into the whole kiss, the tiktok long forgotten as the music played over and over in the background. long story short, this was how make-out sessions became a thing when you and junkyu, your best-friend-turned-boyfriend, hung out.

MASHIHO. finally back home in japan for a month-long break, mashiho was planning on spending as much time with his family and his friend group from high school, which you just so happened to be in. once upon a time, you and mashiho had been very close. it was very obvious to all of your friends that you liked each other, but neither of you had dared to make a move, scared of damaging your friendship, and before you could gather the courage to confess your feelings, he had been whisked away to south korea to finish his training and debut as a member of treasure. this was the first time you saw him in real life and not on a screen in almost two years, but it only took a couple of days for your feelings to come back as if they had never disappeared in the first place - which they probably hadn’t, anyway. it’d been a week since he’d come back, and you were all hanging out at the basketball court of your old high school at 10 pm after having gone out for dinner. most were playing a game of basketball but you and two of your other friends had decided to hang back, saying you’d eaten too much to move around when you really just couldn’t be asked. mashiho, who was used to destroying absolutely everyone on the court, was of course surprised when his friends were able to stop some of his attacks and shoot perfectly even from afar. they took a small break and you told him how they’d practiced during his absence so that they could finally play an actual game against him without being ridiculed. the smirk on mashiho’s face as he said, “alright then, bring it on,” was very unhealthy for your poor heart who started beating a thousand times a minute, the simple action launching a horde of butterflies in your stomach. you watched the game, and more precisely him, with a lot more attention after that, shouting his name for encouragement and clapping when his team won a point. when he winked and waved at you after landing a shot, you really felt like the girlfriend of an american athlete at one of his college games, and you liked that feeling a little too much. you were so invested in this game that when his team finally won, practically all thanks to him, the adrenaline made you jump up from your seat on the ground to run over to him and press a congratulatory kiss to his cheek. this already made everyone cheer louder than the game did, so imagine just how loud your friends were when mashiho, shaking off his surprise, grinned wider, took you by the waist, and kissed you on the lips.

JAEHYUK. similarly to junkyu, i imagine jaehyuk as being a besties before lovers type of guy, except that he really treats you like his girlfriend but just doesn’t have the guts to actually call you that. he always takes you on ‘hangouts’ that are more like dates, facetimes you at random hours of the day and night, calls you pretty whether you’re dressed up or not; he just does everything right, basically. everything but one thing, which is to make things official, and you’d be lying if you said his behavior didn’t worry a little bit. you’d heard too many stories of girls being led on by their friends who act like boyfriends without the label and then turn around and make her think she’s delusional when she asks them about it. you really doubted jaehyuk could act like that, and in your head the worst-case scenario was that he was just oblivious to what he was doing and thought it normal, even though his friends always told you it was as clear as a sunny day he liked you and was just too scared to make the final move. this was why you had made up your mind that on your next date-like meeting with him, you’d finally gather enough courage for the both of you and act on your feelings, whether that meant straight-up confessing or doing something that couldn’t be seen as ambiguous in terms of where you two stood. it hadn’t even been a couple days since you’d taken this decision when he called you, asking if you were free next sunday, his nearest day off. as always, everything went perfectly, from his compliment on your new outfit, to the diner he’d picked out, to the way he made you laugh and your heart skip a beat. jaehyuk, however, wasn’t the type to flirt just to make you happy, but also so he could hear it back, and so he always found ways to make you compliment him as well - the fun part was to tease him and pretend you hadn’t noticed his new haircut or that you didn’t like his outfit that much just to see him pout and then grin widely when you said you were joking and that, yes, he looked very handsome. “oh yeah? so handsome that you wanna kiss me, i bet?” - this was another one of his favorite lines. you usually dismissed him with a roll of your eyes and told him to shut up, but today, you stayed quiet, thinking this might be your chance. he took your silence as flusteredness and added, “oh my god, you totally wanna kiss m-”, but you effectively interrupted him with a quick peck on the lips, shutting him up for good as you leaned back in your seat and continued eating as if nothing happened. he stared at you blankly, mouth slightly open, and touched his fingers to his lips like the female lead in a kdrama. without a word, he leaned in as you did seconds prior and pecked you just as quickly as you had, making you the shocked one this time. “if you get to do it, i get to do it too,” he said, pouting down at his food. when your gazes found each other, you burst into giggles, and after you calmed down, he very cutely threatened “just wait until it’s the two of us. i’ll show you what a real kiss is.” let’s just say that from that day on, there was no hesitation as to whether you two were just friends or dating (hint: it’s the latter).

ASAHI. no matter how much he liked you, asahi had a tendency to get very immersed into whatever he was doing at the moment and sort of forget about your presence in the room. in his own somewhat awkward words, he’d tried to reassure you that it was just because he felt extremely comfortable around you and didn’t feel the need to keep you entertained, that he was happy when you just chilled together, each of you simply doing their own thing. you were usually fine with it too, happy to just be with him, but this one day, you’d gone over to hang out at his dorm so you could spend actual time chatting and hanging out with him, not just scrolling through social media while he worked on his latest painting. you’d whined about it when he started painting but he told you he’d be done in ten minutes. ten minutes passed, then another ten, and another ten. you’d call out to him every now and then but he’d always repeat the same thing - “i’ll be done soon.” your complaints barely reached his ears, your whines earned a mere chuckle, so when you’d had enough, you’d gotten up and said, “fine, guess i’ll just go hang out with jaehyuk then,” sure that that would get his attention. but he just replied with an unbothered, “sure, he’s probably in the kitchen.” you scoffed at his nonchalance, and decided desperate times called for desperate measures, so you stomped over to where he was sitting and pressed an aggressive kiss on his cheek. this finally got his attention and when he looked at you with a stunned expression, you were scared you’d completely overstepped your boundaries - it wasn’t like you two were actually dating, even though every member and their mom were telling you to. but his face immediately softened as he took in your small frown and pout, realizing he’d been very negligent of you. “i’m sorry, i didn’t mean to upset you. let’s hang out now.” his words already warmed your heart, but when you saw he’d been drawing a picture of you from when you had gone to a park together, you thought you couldn’t get more in love with him. later on, he teased you about your method of getting his attention, but he definitely didn’t complain when you did it again, practically lending you his cheek (because he was too shy to give you his lips) for you to peck.

YEDAM. you realized that bang yedam liked to show off, just a little bit, when he invited you to watch practice at his company building for the fifth time. he liked impressing you with the new intense choreography they’d just learned or with his angelic vocals that never failed to make goosebumps appear on your skin. the members teased him about having ten times more energy when you were around, but your smile and claps as you watched him and the praises you gave him afterwards made it all worth it. he’d liked you since he met you at school - you still remember his trembling hands and his deep blush as he asked you if you wanted to come to his practice for the first time - but seeing you getting along with his members, learning the dance from mashiho, copying hyunsuk’s rap and laughing at asahi’s and jeongwoo’s antics, it all made him like you even more; you fit right in. he asked them what to do about these feelings, and they all advised him that next time he asked you out, it should be just the two of you. yoshi, in all his wisdom, told him that having you over at the company like he usually did was a good idea because it was familiar and comfortable, but that it could be at a time where he practiced individually. doyoung added that he should sing a love song as way of confessing, and everybody groaned at the cheesy idea, but yedam, for some reason, thought it was the greatest, most romantic thing ever and thanked his friend, thumb on his phone already pressing your contact, ready to call and ask you out. you said yes immediately, heart pounding at the idea of it finally being just you two after months of hanging out in groups, whether that was with your friends at school or with his members during practice. when you got there, you talked for a bit, the electric tension in the air making you both feel giddy. he warmed up before he got the song ready and told you to “listen to the lyrics carefully” with a very pointed look. you couldn’t contain your smile as you nodded, excited for whatever he had planned. lo and behold, you had the honor of not only being the first to hear the piano, demo, yedam solo version of the one and only darari, but also of being the inspiration behind the song. when it was over, yedam turned to you with a sheepish smile, asking “did you like it?” and being answered with a chaste kiss to his lips. his hands found your waist as if by instinct and, as he looked up at you with wide eyes and you looked down at him with a huge grin, you replied, “i loved it.”

DOYOUNG. nobody will ever convince me that doyoung doesn’t give the biggest university campus hearthrob vibes. i know this whole post was idol!treasure but just for him i’m gonna make an exception cause… yeah. doyoung is that guy in your really boring class that you only go to because he’s there, even though you never speak to him. all you’ve done is gaze longingly at him and look away abruptly when he catches you staring, so you’re sure he must think you’re crazy until one day when your professor announces a group project in pairs and doyoung swings around on his chair, looking right at you and smiling as if you were friends that already knew they’d partner up. you look around and behind you, trying to see if his smile is actually directed at someone else, but everyone’s already speaking to their partner. when your eyes find doyoung again, he’s already walking towards you, grabbing the empty chair beside you and plopping himself down on it. “wanna do this together?” his smile is blinding and all you can do is nod slowly and mumble out “s-sure.” and that’s how you become friends with doyoung, and how your infatuation with him turns into an ever-growing crush. working on a project together leads to meeting at the library for study dates, leads to taking coffee then lunch breaks, leads to texting random things during the day, leads to inviting each other to parties, leads to hanging out outside of school when the project is over, leads to you being head over heels for him. it doesn’t help that along with being ridiculously handsome, doyoung also happens to be a gentleman who knows your coffee order by heart, is easy to work with, makes you laugh, and flirts with you shamelessly. you’d like to say that after a few weeks, comments such as “you look pretty today, y/n” don’t affect you or that you don’t feel anything when he tucks a strand of hair behind your ear, but that would be the world’s biggest lie. the fated kiss happens at half past midnight on a tuesday during exam season. there was an essay you had completely forgotten about, and you only had twenty hours to do all the reading, come up with a topic, and write it out - the professor didn’t accept extensions, because they were evil. you had briefly told doyoung about this, but you just thought he’d send you a sweet text of support - not that he’d show up at the library, two cups of coffee in hand. “here, they’re both for you. motivation and comfort,” he grinned, placing them on the corner of your table. “oh my god, doyoung, i could kiss you right now,” you breathed, heading straight for your first cup. you almost spat out the coffee when he replied, “then do it.” you don’t know if it was the deliriousness of having been awake for such a long time, or if it was the adrenaline of having to finish an assignment on time, or the fact that he still managed to look good at midnight under the bright yellow fluorescent lights of the library, but you did it. you stood up and pressed your lips firmly against his for a few seconds before pulling away and returning to your essay. your cheeks were burning and you were too shy to look back at him, the realization of what you had just done hitting you. “y/n?” “yeah?” “is that it?” you can feel his gaze burning holes through your head, but still you can’t bring yourself to meet his eyes.”i don’t have time right now. sorry.” a beat passes and you pretend to read a paper, but none of the words on your screen passes. “then will you come to my dorm when you’re done?” another beat. “yeah. okay.” “okay.” he kisses the top of your head and whispers ‘good luck,’ and your cheeks manage to burn even more. you think you might combust right then and there, but at least you have an even better incentive than a good grade to finish this assignment. ok now who would read this if i turned it into a full fic…

HARUTO. the gods of love and fanfiction were on your side when they made you besties with haruto’s sister. he was back in japan for his break, and on his second day home, his sister asked if you could come over for dinner. you usually saw each other every day, if not at school then at each other’s houses or in town, but that hadn’t been possible the day before since it was her brother’s arrival, and she was already having withdrawal symptoms. their parents gladly agreed - you were like a second daughter to them at this point, much like your friend was to you parents. he hadn’t really thought twice about it at first; he remembered you as his sister’s shy friend that smiled a lot but didn’t talk very much. well, you still smiled a lot but were more talkative now; and either you had changed immensely in the year since he’d seen you last, or he just didn’t have that good of a memory, because when he saw you again, he himself grew shy because of how pretty he found you. his cheeks reddened when his parents coddled him or bragged about his achievements, his head hung low in embarrassment when usually he’d have welcomed the compliments with open arms. “gosh, you need to eat more, son! it’s like they don’t feed you over there,” his mom grumbled, scooping a huge portion of rice in his bowl. he wanted to dig a hole in the ground when you giggled at his mom’s antics. he grew more and more comfortable around you as time passed, considering you were over at their house at least three times a week, but he still found himself unable to get a full sentence out while looking you in the eyes. the way he was around you was so different from his usual personality that it was obvious to everyone that he had a crush on you. you found him extremely endearing, but knew there was no point trying to pursue what might be there, since he’d have to leave soon. it was only on his last night home that you gathered enough courage for the both of you. it was late in the night and you were sleeping over at your best friend’s house, but the coffee you had stupidly had at 6pm was keeping you awake. quietly, you walked out of your friend’s bedroom and into the kitchen to get a glass of water, but sound from the living room distracted you. you took a peak in and found haruto on the couch, watching an action anime. he almost had a heart attack when you called out his name, not expecting anyone to be up at this time. “what are you still doing up? shouldn’t you be getting some sleep before you leave?” you asked, sitting down next to him on the couch. if you couldn’t sleep, might as well stay here. “i can never sleep before i go back to korea. i love being there but i just… i hate waking up and knowing today’s the day i leave home.” it surprises him how easily the truth comes out, but it feels nice to put it out there - he doesn’t want to cause his parents sorrow by telling them how much he wants to stay even though he can’t. “you want to make it feel like your time here is longer or something? so you stay up…” you say, looking at the bright colors of the tv. “pretty much, yeah.” you ask him what anime he’s watching and scooch closer to him, letting a comfortable silence fall between you after he’s answered, the only sound in the room coming from the tv. after a couple of episodes, you feel sleep wash over you, and stretch your arms, letting a big yawn out. “going to bed?” haruto asks, pausing when the next episode starts to play, and you nod. “you know, ruto,” you start, and his heart skips a beat at the familiar nickname - it’s a lot nicer when you say it rather than his mom. “it’s normal to feel sad when you leave home. but it’ll still be here, waiting for you to come back.” you smile at him. “i’ll be here too.” you get up, but before you leave the room, you turn back towards you, and lean down to press a soft kiss to his nose, a feature of his you’d always secretly loved. you grin as you watch his face break into surprise, and wish him goodnight, chuckling. “g-goodnight, y/n.”

JEONGWOO. as soon as he’d stepped into the classroom on the first day back to school and saw you there, jeongwoo knew he’d have the fattest crush on you. your carefree laughter as you talked with your friends, the glint in your eyes, the sound of your voice. he liked everything about you immediately, and that feeling only grew as time passed, even though you’d never had a proper conversation. always the class clown despite his idol status, he never failed to bring attention to himself with his funny comments and reactions, yet somehow managed to stay likable and not become that obnoxious guy who doesn’t know yet to stop. but when he was with you, he grew quiet. if you were on the same group, he’d barely look at you, only talking to you when absolutely needed. naturally, you thought he hated you. but when he found out you lived in the same neighborhood as his dorm, he’d shyly asked his manager if he could walk home from school once in a while rather than be driven home, and then he’d shyly asked you if you guys could walk home together, taking you by surprise. rare were the days he actually got out of school at a normal time, but when he did, he always waited outside the classroom door for you, earning him a few whoops from his friends and hushed giggles from yours. the first few times, he stayed pretty quiet, and you almost wondered why he’d asked you in the first place. but soon enough, his more playful side, the one you’d see at school or on t-map episodes (although he didn’t need to know you watched those), started to come out, and he’d talk with you about anything between the earth and the sun. you found yourself agreeing on the same crazy things, making up insane conspiracy theories, going back and forth on a topic no sane human would talk about and each sentence you uttered only adding to the craziness, both of you egging the other on and nodding as if you had unearthed the planet’s wildest truths. when you got to your house, you were so high on the incredible things you and jeongwoo had discovered that you pressed a quick peck to his cheek, thanking him for walking you home. before either of you could realize what you’d just done, you’d already closed the door behind you, leaving a very stunned jeongwoo to stand at your door for a few seconds, two fingers on the spot your lips had blessed his cheek and a smile growing on his face. his hyungs never heard the end of it that evening.

JUNGHWAN. i have no idea what it is about the three youngest members that give me huge ‘shy-when-in-love’ vibes, but junghwan is no exception. it was your last year of high school and even though you were drowning in homework and college applications, your parents had made you get a part-time job to help with the eventual university fees. luckily for you, your mother had a friend whose hairdresser had a cousin that worked at YG entertainment, and could get you a job as a part-time barista in the building café. he just needed to make sure you weren’t completely unqualified and wouldn’t freak out whenever you saw an idol, and it was set. you can’t lie, the first few times a winner or ikon, or worse, blackpink, member walked in, you had to really concentrate to not spill the coffee everywhere out of nerves. but it didn’t take you long to realize they were just regular people craving caffeine like you, and the fact that your coworkers and the company staff were completely unfazed helped as well. treasure, as the newest and most active group of YG, came by a lot, and you were glad to notice they were always friendly and polite with you - your friend who was a huge teume would be enthralled by the information. however, even if they weren’t all talkative extroverts, there was one member who was particularly quiet: junghwan. you thought nothing of it until one day, walking in for the start of your shift, you saw him chatting with the other barista, but as soon as he saw you, he grew quieter, answering in hums and short sentences, glancing at you in what seemed a nervous fashion. since you were a new addition, you chalked it up to him being shy around strangers. but then, he started coming in in the evening, when the café was relatively empty, and sat at a table after ordering rather than just getting his drink and leaving. he got out his homework and would simply work on it for thirty or so minutes, most of the time alone, sometimes with one of the older members. you didn’t say anything, and after a month, he finally talked to you for something else that his coffee order. you placed his drink (always an iced choco) down on his table, and as you were about to walk away, he called out your name. “yeah?” you said, turning around quickly, perhaps too quickly. the fact that he came in at such quiet hours meant that you had much leisure time to do nothing other than stare at him, unbeknownst to him. you knew he was a handsome guy, but being able to observe him so closely made you notice so many of his cute habits, and before you knew it, you were developing a crush. “how do you like it here?” he asked, and that was it. he forgot his homework as you answered his question, which prompted more from him, which prompted more from you. after that, you got into the habit of talking every time he came in, venting about your problems, bonding over shared interests, laughing at cat memes together. more often than not, this resulted in him being late for practice or never getting around to his homework. since you were in the same year level and he didn’t have as much time to study as you did, you also helped him with subjects he struggled with. you’d spent a week going over a history lesson with him, which had started out with him hopeless but he grew more and more confident about the upcoming test, thanks to your help. he had been really nervous about it, so when he barged in the café, a huge grin on his face and graded paper showing a bright red ‘B+’ in hand, you were so proud that you couldn’t help but run to him and take his face in your hands, pressing a firm kiss to his cheek. his eyes grew wide and he looked down at you in disbelief, but before you could run away and hide from what you just did, his grin found its way back to his face and he took you in his arms for the warmest hug you’d ever received. “i couldn’t have done it without you, y/n.”

[9:10pm]

Baby fever. Nari swore she was feeling baby fever as soon as 127 met their small fan, Mali (technically, he was Mark's fan, and 127 was Mali's fan, but specifics didn't matter).

Nair smiled and cooed along with the others, laughing and cheering at whatever Mali shyly mentioned to them or showed. She could tell everyone was smitten with this young boy - including herself.

"Do you want to be an NCT member?" Nari heard one of the members ask Mali. The boy nodded in reply.

"No, no, no," Haechan and Yuta denied. "It's dangerous."

It's dangerous...

Nari felt her heart break at the members' words, spotting the hidden worry and fear in their expressions at the thought of Mali becoming a member - or an idol in general.

She pursed her lips at the sight. She knew what they were thinking of; they were thinking of what she and other members went through from pre-debut until now...

The pressure she received from the staff to become the best of the best, the expectations they had on her because her parents were well-known business people, the hate from the public thinking they were going to flop, haters, sasaeng incidents, the mistreatment she and others would get from the few staff - she understood why the members said no to Mali becoming a member.

While most of them were distracted by hanging out with their young fan, Nari stood in between Haechan and Yuta, looping her arms through each of theirs while pressing a chaste kiss on their bicep. They didn't need any verbal words from her. They knew what Nari was trying to express.

After their fans left, Nari turned to the two again. "You okay?" she asked them.

"Yeah, we're okay," Haechan smiled small, giving her a side hug while Yuta clasped his hands in hers.

"It's just a bit sad how most of our fans don't understand how serious and hard it is to be an idol, the dangers you can get into," Yuta added, squeezing her hands lightly.

"I'm okay, guys. We're okay," she assured them, outing their hidden worry. "I'm going to be fine, you know why? Because I have you all with me, and I'm not going to shut you all out like I did before, I'll be open about my struggles."

"I know, and we're glad," Yuta grinned, leaning down to press a light kiss to her forehead. "Still, you're my best friend, I'm gonna worry about you. Just like how everyone is going to worry about one another."

"Yeah, of course, I'm going to worry over my Noona!" Haechan whined, trapping her in his hold so he could nuzzle his head on top of hers with a pout. Nari laughed at the slightly ticklish feeling from the nuzzle, instinctively shying away from it to no avail. Haechan tightened his arms around her so he could kiss the top of her head happily. Only then, did he let go of her.

it all started when there was a new face at the cafe near hybe, she looked around her age, probably a year or two older but she was pretty. minji took note of her name tag and for someone on their first week, she seems experienced. she watched as she made another iced americano and conversed with the customer to make the mood light.

luckily the cafe wasn't crowded, especially once the cafe had to put up a notice that people are not allowed to loiter without buying anything. which became one of the top spots for hybe artists to stay and relax. she wondered how many idols you've seen since you started working and how come you were not panicking when she noticed chaewon ordering.

"chaewon-unnie, another iced americano?" she could barely hear the conversation but she could vaguely hear how the barista was looking for a new artist to listen to.

"i'll ask yunjin to give you a list of recommendations, she listens to a lot of artists." the barista gave her thanks along with chaewon's drink and waved goodbye to the artist. chaewon didn't notice her on the way out, probably trying to get back to work right away. when minji went to the counter, a different barista was now serving her. it was the manager as she watched the new barista clean up.

"minji-ssi, iced americano?" the young idol nodded as the manager had given the barista the cup. minji watched as she made her coffee, somehow she was delicate with her work. she handled the equipment with care even gently tapping it unlike what she usually hears in the cafe. how can someone be that gentle with coffee?

"iced americano for minji?" when minji finally got a close look at the new barista, she was already palpitating even without the coffee.

"t-that's mine."

"here you go, have a great day, minji."

when minji came to practice that day, iced americano untouched as she entered the practice room only to hear her bandmates talk about the new barista with a few members or le sserafim. mostly chaewon and yunjin who somehow was close to the barista.

"how do you even know her, unnie?" hanni met the barista the day before, during her usual afternoon coffee run.

"oh, she's a classmate of wonyoung and she was looking for a summer job before classes could start again." minji mostly drowned out the noise as she sat down on the couch and drank her iced americano in peace. the barista was indeed pretty and nice, but it's not like she's going to fall for someone who she just met.

hyein had entered the practice room with a frappe in hand, jumping as she got in and talking about the new barista from across the street. how she looked so cool making her drink and even apologizing for the noise. everyone started teasing hyein on having a crush on the barista only for minji to speak up. "i think she's pretty too."

day 1 of trying to get the barista's attention:

minji failed miserably, every time she was about to order the barista wouldn't be handling the register and she's left with the staff that she actually knows. somehow after she leaves with her drink, she's back in the register as if she was trying to avoid her.

day 2 of trying to get the barista's attention:

she tried going to the cafe a few minutes earlier just to make sure she was handling the register only to be disappointed that it was her day off.

day 5 of trying to get the barista's attention:

minji was a few minutes early and luckily there was no line or any other staff except for the new barista, looking by the door, she noticed how she slightly panicked but that wouldn't stop her from talking to you. minji was persistent and a bit possessive, hyein wasn't making any moves and told the maknae not to do anything because she's still a baby.

"hi... what can i get for you?" her voice was soothing, just like how coffee should be when drinking it, not something that could make her face turn sour.

"a large iced americano and your number, possibly." the barista was taken a bit by surprise as well as minji. she didn't know where that new found confidence came from but she won't question it anymore.

"quite a bold move, but i'm going to need your name first."

"minji."

"well, minji. that would be one large iced americano along with my number, with a total a possible date sometime in the future?" if minji was bold, you were bolder.

you exchanged numbers while sneakily punching her order to be on the house, paid by yours truly. minji didn't even notice it as she walked to the pick up counter while preparing her drink. maybe you had a soothing and calm aura like the cafe, but you were bold and strong like her iced americano.

Early Days

Moxy was born on September 2, 1997 to long time model, Jin Hei Ran and firefighter Derrick Thompson. She is the middle child of three and the only girl. For seven years, her family lived in Chicago until tragedy struck. Her father Derrick lost his life in a burning house saving two small kids. After the funeral, the family of four moved across the globe to South Korea so Hei Ran could properly morn and get help raising her kids from their grandmother.

Moxy attended a prestigious international high school where she was one of the top students academically. She was also a highly regarded member of the school dance team. Where her unique style was highlighted in several routines with the male members of the team.

After one of the teams performances went viral, several companies contacted her over night. She was invited to audition at SM, YG, JYP, and tons of smaller companies too like Big Hit.

Moxy sent her tape in to several companies but only got a call back from two of them, SM and Big Hit. She toured both companies but ultimately decided to become a trainee at Big Hit. Citing that Big Hit felt special and that feeling alone is what guided her to the small company. Moxy became a Big Hit trainee in 2011 at the age of 14, weeks after Jungkook.

Moxy is everyone's dream trainee cause she put work into everything she did. She easily gained the respect of the older boys. As they years went on, their family grew from 6 to 8 and all eight members were closer than ever.

When it came time to choose the final lineup for the group, it was more a question of if Moxy be in it. When the 8 trainee's were brought in and informed of the situation, the boys were quick to anger. They all couldn't imagine standing on stage without their sister. Namjoon made it clear that they all refused to debut without Migyeong

After Debut

Moxy was middle of the road when it came to popularity. On the flipside, she had tons of antis. The most out of all the members. Strangers calling her ugly. Saying she didn't fit in with other girls groups so she had to join an all boy group. Rumors about how she made it into big hit and onto BTS's line-up. All of the boys made it their mission to protect the sixteen year-old from any negative comments until she was mentally ready to face them.

Sometimes, BTS would get accused of not treating Moxy like the lady she is especially with some of their earlier content. BTS was put through the ringer within K-media and on the internet but every time, they had ARMY by their side. Coming to the defense of BTS.

During their early years, Moxy felt a lot of pressure to look like one of the guys. So she wore baggy clothes and binded her chest in a effort to blend in. Namjoon was by far the most against Moxy's decision but always made sure to check on after every performance so he'd know she wasn't hurting herself

The one thing k-nets couldn't critique was Moxy's performance on stage. Moxy hits every move perfectly while also paying attention to the small intricate details. Fans love to watch her fancams cause Moxy will accentuate certain moves that the other boys may not.

She has tons of famous fancams but the highest viewed is her performance of Idol at the 2018 MAMA. Not only was she really felling herself but her outfit was 10/10.

Moxy was unable to participate in HYYH Pt. 1 and 2 because she and her mother were involved in a car accident. A truck, driven by a sleepy driver, hit them on Moxy's side. Moxy was left with a litany of injuries that put her on hiatus for the rest of the year.

It was a long road to recovery. With the members by her side, Moxy pushed through every day on her road to get back on stage. The day she was cleared for light physical activity fell on the filming day of Epilogue: Young Forever. Moxy collaborated with staff to surprise the boys. The crew got video of Moxy surprising the boys on set which lead to a ton of tears and bone crushing hugs.

Puberty reared its head during her hiatus. When she left, Moxy still looked like a young girl. But when she came back, Moxy wasn't a little girl anymore. She came back healthy, ready to come out of her shell and stop hiding the body she was given.

Moxy made her triumphant return to the stage during Wings. This album marked when perceptions of herself turned around with k-media outlets. They were nicer and acknowledged her contributions to the group.

K-media has taken to calling Moxy two-faced, IN A NICE WAY. They are mainly referring to her being kind and sweet off stage but when she's on stage Moxy lets the beast out of her cage.

Facts

Moxy learned producing under the wing of Namjoon and Yoongi. She soaked up all the information they had until she started to experiment on her own. She's responsible for a bunch of BTS tracks over the years. Here's a couple of her most popular ones: I Like It, Tomorrow, Let Me Know, Ma City, Pied Piper, and BTS Cypher Pt.4

Moxy worked as a host of SBS Inkigayo from July of 2016 till April of 2017. She most remembered for being completely unserious in the face of Jackson Wang. These two were just on a mission to make each other crack on live television.

Both of Moxy's brothers are in the entertainment industry. Her older brother, Jin Ju Won, is a model like their mom. Her younger brother, Jin Hyun Ki, followed in his sister footsteps and became and idol. He is a member of Ateez.

Jin considers himself apart of Moxy's family. He calls himself their unofficial oldest brother and really leans into it. He frequently checks in on all the Jin siblings and has Moxy's mom and grandmothers number in his phone.

Everyone in Big Hit calls Jungkook and Moxy 'The Twins' because they truly act like twins. One is goofy while the other is quiet. They both bring out each others different sides. Moxy can get Jungkook to calm down while Jungkook can really get Moxy on ten.

When out in public, The Twins have a habit of holding hands that plenty of fans love to document. "I just like to make sure she isn't lost or seperated from us. It's become a bit of a habit for me, to keep her close. I would get really anxious and nervous when we debut but I took comfort in Migyeong being near me." Out of all the oppa's, Moxy is the closest to Yoongi. they both are quiet and like to work in peace but Yoongi just like the kind energy that Moxy brings. That's why Moxy is the only member with his studio password.

Moxy loves showering her boys with gentle attention. She remembers everything and she frequently observes so she'll know what the boys may need. In turn, the other members shower her with gifts. Mainly because they love to see the lovely blush that takes over her face when they do.

The boys are UBER protective of Moxy. Many make idols want to talk to her but they scared away by the boys judgmental stares. Despite this, Moxy has a few of male friends who weren't deterred by the glares. Her closest male friends are Bang Chan, BamBam, Yugyeom and DK

Moxy's favorite color is green, specifically sage green.

She's fluent in Korean and English. She's about 80% fluent in Japanese and is currently learning Spanish seriously.

She loves carbs more than anything. It makes it hard to put her on diet(but she breaks them anyway)

She's a huge fan of music full stop. She'll listen to anything and more than likely Moxy will love it. She's garnered the nickname of "Music Library" because of her ability to name any song she's heard within ten seconds.

Moxy hired one of her friends from high school to be her personal makeup artist. Her friend used to practice on Moxy between classes where Moxy saw her friends potential. At first, Hei Ran paid for her services until Moxy could afford to do so on her own.

Moxy has had her own apartment since she joined Big Hit. The boys loved to come over during their early days just to escape their cramped dorm. Her most frequent visitors are Jungkook and Yoongi.

Moxy has a few ambassadorships. Jungkook and Moxy are Calvin Klein ambassadors together. Moxy's also a solo ambassador for Balmain

Moxy is currently in a relationship with Jimin. They started dating during the Love Yourself Tour after circling each other for years. Nobody know except Big Hit and their members but its become a running joke with Armies that the two have been dating for wayyy longer.

HI. i just washed up and made myself comfortable so i could divert all my free time & attention to this post right here bc OH BOY do i have a lot to say

although i'm not particularly sure how he became my bias? i dont even think he was in the running until one day i was watching the second season of show me the mwm (the episode where they have to find their symbol in a morning mission) and seoho straight up ate xion's lollipop. i remember thinking oh. he's the one!!

i think the main thing i like about seoho is how effortlessly he makes me laugh?? we all know he's kind of shy but at the same time he's not afraid to make a fool out of himself and just does whatever feels right and somehow it works... i faintly remember him talking about wanting to be a comedian as a kid, because he loved making people laugh and everytime i have to catch my breath after another one of his silly antics, a part of me hopes that he knows that's exactly what he's doing right now.

and yeah he's incredibly funny but also really fucking smart and his out of the box thinking often blows my mind. his big brain is sexy as hell and i love how he just keeps me on my toes and surprises me with something new every single time!! and with every single new thing i learn about him my heart grows in size. there's galaxies in this man's mind that i can't WAIT to discover!!

i think.. when it comes to seoho it's very easy for people to lock him in the box of the "silly hyung who loves joking around and often acts like the maknae" and throw away the key.. stereotyping idols happens a lot, and when shit hit the fan, people said some things that i vehemently disagree with when it comes to his role as the oldest in oneus. first of all, i don't think that role means as much in their group as it does in others bc they treat each other as equals to begin with? but it's crazy to me how people look at seoho and don't see how much of a support/pillar he is to his members.

seoho, reliable 민이형 who makes sure dongju doesnt fall short of anything he needs (even if he doesnt know it himself) and gladly indulges the youngest in all his passions and interests even if he pretends to dislike it.

seoho, the one hwanwoong goes to late at night for comfort because he feels like he's the one who understands him best. the first two rbw boyz who share a deeper understanding.

seoho, keonhee's twin. i may be biased but these two have so much in common and constantly feed off each other in so many ways. they're often giggling by themselves, share the same deep passion for singing and music (exhibit A: every single one of their vlives), and hwanwoong mentioning how the roommates are getting more and more alike as time goes by in their recent vlive just tells me how close they are even if we don't see that much of it on camera. (this was supposed to be a paragraph about how seoho takes care of keonhee but of course my keonho biased ass ended up here). what i meant to say is i think seoho, as keonhee's roommate, provides both those "need a boys night in with some beers and a pinch of crazy karaoke" kinda vibes as well as the guidance and understanding keonhee might be in need of. i think they match each other's energy well.

seoho, geonhak's (i dare say) best friend. a day without seodo banter is like going a day without water. seoho has geonhak's back like no other. you mess with gh, you mess with seoho, and he's not afraid to let you know either. the "we stand shoulder to shoulder" line in the top gun medley is actually about them.

and to think people don't see seoho as someone who can adequately care for his members is both beyond ridiculous and sad to me. just bc you can't see his love language doesn't mean they can't.

AND THAT IS NOT TO MENTION THE SHEER TALENT this man posseses but i won't get into the way his voice gives me chills and he often leaves me shooting heart eyes at my screen after a performance. i also won't elaborate on how amazing a dancer he is and how he somehow also is great at sports and how his talking voice is so soothing and comforting i sometimes put on old vlives to ease my anxiety (i'm literally listening to his last bubble live as i'm typing this. it's my fav so far.)

i also won't mention his pretty smile and his beautiful eyes and his amazing hands and the little freckle on his cheek and the shape of his lips and when he goes :} and how much i love the sound of his laugh.

i'm probably missing sooooo much but i've been going at this for over an hour and it's been a long day so i just want to say i love him a lot and i would pull down the moon for him.

Oh wow, I hadn't realized Bambam had considered leaving before debut. That does put things into context a bit more. Bambam is a big fan, but Taeyeon also gave him encouragement that powered him through a tough and uncertain time.

Bambam was embarrassed to tell his story (about listening to If) and Taeyeon was like "tell me, make me laugh" and honestly that's kind of encouraging? It's like, reassuring Bambam that she'll like his story.

Hell yeah, 'taste palate of a child' gang. I too have the food preferences of a child lol.

This part was really thoughtful of Taeyeon. Now that she's older and a more veteran idol, she's seeing the effects of her work and how they've inspired her juniors. So it encourages her to work harder too.

Bambam wanted to prepare the Somtam beforehand but he always ends up doing it during the show. I think I've only seen him prepare it beforehand once in the Ningning episode lol.

Jeon Jungkook, also known by his stage name Jungkook, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and dancer. He is the youngest member of the globally renowned K-pop group, BTS, and has become one of the most popular idols in the music industry. Twst Boys as K-Pop Idols

Strawbetty’s notes:

🍓 Warning: None, all fluff-and-crack headcanons of our lovely TWST bois as K-Pop idols! I suppose this counts as an Idol AU hehe

🍓 I’m back on my K-Pop craze so I’m combining that with TWST LOL

🍓 All “groups” (the dorms as K-Pop groups) are under Night Raven Company ;)

❤️ Heartslabyul, a 5-member group ❤️

Song rec: “WONDERLAND” by ATEEZ

🌹 Riddle Rosehearts:

- One of the youngest K-Pop leaders in history

- Main vocalist and dancer. Riddle writes a lot of his group’s songs with Trey and Cater and also writes out the group’s schedules

- His mother was absolutely LIVID about him becoming a K-Pop idol, and it took a while for her to realize Riddle’s passion for performing

- Riddle is a co-MC on a music show with Floyd (much to Riddle’s dismay)

- Makes sure his members give their 110% in everything they do, but he also loves and cherishes them with all his heart

- Had a training period of two years. He was often alone as a trainee and worried and stressed often if he would ever debut. His Heartslabyul members became his greatest friends

🍀 Trey Clover:

- Sub-rapper and dancer; his skills are the backbone of the group’s songs and performances

- NOT the oldest member of the group but fans always think he is

- Co-writer and producer; he’s better at producing than singing

- Does weekly Live Magicams where he bakes or cooks while talking to fans

- Cooks for all the members and makes sure they’re getting proper sleep, nutrition, and dental hygiene

- Won’t hesitate to call out fans or staff who make uncomfortable or inappropriate comments towards him or his members

♦️ Cater Diamond:

- Main dancer and lead vocalist. Also the oldest member of the group (fans always think he’s the second-oldest)

- 90% of the group’s Magicam posts are either taken by Cater or of Cater

- Always on top of TwstTok challenges on their group’s TwstTok page; a lot of Cater’s TwstToks go viral

- Mood maker; always gives the best ments (ending speeches) at the end of concerts

- His sisters are definitely social media influencers and most of their followers are fans of Cater and Heartslabyul

- Also LOVES getting his hair and makeup done; always brings a smile to his members’ and staffs’ faces after a long day of shooting MVs

♠️ Deuce Spade:

- Lead dancer (he used to be terrible at dancing during his trainee days, but practiced day and night and improved so much)

- Sub-vocalist

- His fandom emoji is 🐣

- His vlogs often include spending the day with his mom if he can or taking care of his pet chick that he raises at the dorm

- Also always calls his mom whenever the group wins an award or even just at the end of the day

- Always tells fans to take care of themselves :’)

♥️ Ace Trappola:

- Maknae (youngest) of the group

- Main rapper, sub-vocalist, dancer (also currently learning how to write songs with Riddle’s and Trey’s help)

- “Ace” of the group, if you will

- Ace and Riddle didn’t get along at first. Ace was the last one to be added into the group and they had their differences, but now Riddle and Ace can work well together

- Always makes sure that fans have a great time at meet-and-greets and concerts by cracking dad jokes

- His older brother is a senior idol, so Ace always feels embarrassed when he has to formally address his brother as a senior whenever they appear on the same award shows

💛 Savanaclaw, a 3-member group 💛

🦁 Leona Kingscholar:

- Oldest member and leader

- Main rapper, sub-vocalist, and dancer (yes he CAN dance, and he’s pretty good at it too)

- Became an idol initially to spite Farena and their royal family, but over time Leona realized that performing was something he loved to do

- Farena and Safiya (Leona’s sister-in-law) are actually really proud of him, and Cheka makes sure to attend every one of Savanaclaw’s concerts

- His royal status protects him and his group members from fake and scandalous media outlets, one them being TwstPatch (TWST equivalent of Dispatch hehe)

- RARELY takes selfies, but when he does and posts them on the group’s Magicam of HIS OWN ACCORD, the fans go crazy (it’s me, I’m fans-🍓)

🍩 Ruggie Bucchi:

- Main dancer and sub-rapper

- Always appreciates getting free stuff from fans

- An ambassador for a donut brand; appears in a lot of donut commercials

- Participates in variety shows to network and gain connections in the industry

- Mood maker; always making fans and staff alike laugh with his jokes and shenanigans

- Sends most of the money he makes back home to his grandma and the orphans in his neighborhood (Ruggie best boy!)

🐺 Jack Howl:

- Maknae of the group but fans always mistake Ruggie as the maknae

- Main vocalist and dancer

- Always bows and shows respect to his fellow idols, especially if they’re his seniors

- Always thanks staff for their hard work and gifts them little succulents

- His vlogs mostly involve him going to the gym with Epel

- Gives fans rom-com K-drama recommendations (Jack’s a sucker for them)

🤍 Octavinelle, a 3-member group 🤍

Song rec: “Not For Sale” by ENHYPEN

📜 Azul Ashengrotto:

- Oldest member and leader of the group

- Producer, main vocalist, and dancer

- Idol competition show judge on the side along with Vil and Rielle (Azul’s not too fond of Rielle, who he trained with when they were younger at a company called Atlantica Records. Rielle is now in an idol group from a competing entertainment company, Royal Sword Entertainment)

- Promotes his group’s comebacks and merch better than Night Raven Company

- Also handles the group’s finances because he doesn’t trust the company, especially CEO Crowley, to handle the finances

- No fake or scandalous media outlet would ever want to cross Azul or his members. TwstPatch is too scared of Azul

🍄 Jade Leech:

- Sub-vocalist and dancer

- Walks in a lot of fashion shows

- Also an ambassador for a lot of designer brands and skincare brands. Fans and brands alike are drawn to his formal yet mysterious aura

- Always appears on cooking variety shows and uses mushrooms as an ingredient

- His vlogs mostly consist of him going on solo mountain hikes where he gets said mushrooms

- He’s the member that always greets the audience and fans with important and formal messages

👞 Floyd Leech:

- Main rapper, sub-vocalist, and dancer

- Flirts back with fans A LOT

- Co-MC with Riddle and loves to tell viewers that he and Riddle are “good friends”

- Also likes to make fun of Riddle whenever they appear on the same competitions or award shows

- His parkour skills come in handy with Octavinelle’s flashy stage performances

- Also an ambassador for a lot of designer brands with Jade, but is mostly known for being an ambassador for designer shoe brand Ténèbres

🧡 Scarabia, a duet 🧡

☀️ Kalim Al-Asim:

- Main rapper, dancer, and sub-vocalist

- The oldest member despite not looking it

- Saw K-Pop idols on TV once and told his dad, “Baba, I wanna be like them! Pretty pleeeeease 🥺”

- His father is a major shareholder of Night Raven Company. Despite this, Kalim has worked hard to prove that he has what it takes to be an idol

- Always puts a smile on fans’ faces and holds their hands during meet-and-greets. He also makes sure that the staff gives out water bottles to fans during concerts. He’s truly grateful for the fans and their support

- Always cries during ments or award show speeches because he’s so grateful for Jamil and for being in a duet with Jamil :’)

🌙 Jamil Viper:

- Main vocalist, dancer, and sub-rapper

- Always “Artist of the Month” for his dance skills, and dedicates all of his achievements and awards to his younger sister Najma

- His eyes alone capture the hearts of fans

- Also does a lot of cooking vlogs, sometimes having Trey and Jade as special guests (they made curry together for a late night Live Magicam)

- Ambassador for sportswear brands and gets to attend high-profile basketball games

- Doesn’t have a bodyguard because he’s his own bodyguard AND Kalim’s

💜 Pomefiore, a three-member group 💜

Song rec: “Psycho” by Red Velvet (Cover by 00s)

🪞 Vil Schoenheit:

- Leader and oldest member of the group

- Main vocalist, dancer, and Face of the Group

- Ambassador for a lot of makeup, skincare, and fashion brands

- Also acts in movies and judges for idol competition shows alongside Azul (they’re the toughest judges)

- Definitely gets into the Top 3 100 Most Beautiful Faces every year, and HATES it when he’s second to Neige LeBlanche (a soloist)

- Always handles the group’s outfits, concepts, and makeup himself

🏹 Rook Hunt:

- Main dancer, sub-vocalist, and rapper

- The member who speaks multiple foreign languages

- Had a solo debut with a song in all French dedicated to Vil

- Likes to collect Savanaclaw’s albums and merch to get more photocards of Leona (he currently has all of Leona’s photocards and every version too)

- Always wins in the archery portion of the annual Idol Sports competition

- Stalkers can’t stalk him because HE STALKS THEM

🍎 Epel Felmier:

- Maknae of the group

- Main rapper and dancer

- People immediately stan him because they think he’s the baby of the group, until they actually learn more about him

- Posts pictures of his workouts with Jack on the Pomefiore group’s Magicam but also posts pictures of all the intricate shapes he cut from apples

- Thanks to Epel’s popularity, his family’s apple juice products are now the most popular apple juice products in Twisted Wonderland

- Gets a lot of skincare and makeup ambassador offers but wishes he got brand deals from sportswear brands like Jamil instead

- Every once in a while his country accent slips out when he’s really happy about an award win for Pomefiore or when he’s really mad at a rude or inappropriate fan

💙 Ignihyde, a duet 💙

Song rec: “GAM3 BO1” by SEVENTEEN

🎮 Idia Shroud:

- Oldest member of the group (since he’s Ortho’s older brother)

- Writer, composer, and producer of their songs

- Main rapper too, surprisingly (all those arguments with fellow gamers on the Internet came in handy)

- Became a K-Pop idol because Ortho thought it would be fun if they both tried out for trainee auditions

- Also became a idol to meet his favorite girl groups at award shows

- Other than that, Idia hates going to airports or anywhere public that a K-Pop idol would normally go to

- Hacks into the votings for idol competition and award shows not so that he and Ortho can win awards, but so that his favorite girl groups can win

💙 Ortho Shroud:

- Main vocalist, dancer, and the first robot K-Pop idol in history

- Loves interacting with fans and encourages Idia to interact with them too

- Ambassador for tech brands, especially modeling with tablets

- Donates a lot of the money he and Idia makes to cat charities

- He loves that all of his performance outfits are designed and made by Idia

- Gets VERY mad when a fan is rude to Idia

💚 Diasomnia, a four-member group 💚

Song rec: “Excalibur” by KINGDOM

🐉 Malleus Draconia:

- The oldest leader in K-Pop history. He’s still the heir to the throne of Briar Valley, but he’s got a while till then

- Sub-vocalist and dancer (he can’t rap for his life and he can be a little awkward when dancing, but his deep voice makes fans GO WILD)

- Never thought about being a K-Pop idol until Lilia signed up Malleus, Sebek, Silver and himself up for auditions

- Tamagotchi ambassador (the Roaring Drago Tamagotchis made a comeback thanks to Malleus, and they sold out in a matter of minutes)

- Doesn’t really understand who or what “stans” are; he asked Lilia once why their fans were all named “Stan”

- His grandmother, the esteemed Queen of Briar Valley who’s lived thousands of years, is now a K-Pop stan and always buys Diasomnia’s merch and albums

🦇 Lilia Vanrouge:

- Eldest member and oldest K-Pop idol in the history of existence (no one knows his real age, not even the company)

- Lead vocalist, dancer, sub-rapper

- Goes through different hair colors every month (not because the company told him to, but because he wants to)

- Plays rock guitar in his free time

- Tries to cook for the group members but fails HORRIBLY. Also appears on cooking variety shows with Jade

- Lilia collects his own group’s albums and merch just to get more photocards of Malleus, Silver, and Sebek. Sometimes Lilia likes to go to K-Pop stores incognito with a fake mustache to pretend that he’s just a huge fan of Diasomnia

⚡️ Sebek Zigvolt:

- Main rapper (all that shouting and praises for Malleus came in handy) and dancer

- Somehow has time to lead all Malleus fanclubs and cupsleeve events (which are cafe or restaurant events held on idols’ birthdays)

- Establishes himself as Malleus’s #1 fan

- Sebek cries whenever his own fans praise him and give him gifts

- Hair gel and shampoo model on the side. One time Sebek posted a picture on the group’s Magicam with his hair down for once and FANS WENT CRAZY

- WILL argue with a fan about being Malleus’s “biggest fan”

⚔️ Silver:

- Maknae of the group (even though Sebek is technically the youngest member at the moment, Silver is going to be younger than Sebek at one point due to Sebek’s half-fae slow aging. Thus, the company and the group decided that Silver would be the maknae)

- Main dancer and sub-vocalist (dancing keeps him awake)

- Always asleep during Live Magicams with the group

- Appears in a lot of mattress commercials as a model and ambassador

- Too naive and dense to realize when a fan is flirting with him, but when he smiles at how excitable fans are, OH BOY (the fans literally faint)

- Lilia is still his adoptive father and Silver still calls Lilia “Father” sometimes during Live Magicams. Fans just think Lilia’s like the parent of the group and don’t think too much of it
