🌠Day 21: Beanstar/Dark Star 🌠

-losing so much to stars, losing so much to SUPERSTARS-

I find it very ironic that after Cackletta's plan of trying to use the Beanstar failed, Fawful tries to use the Dark Star but that ends up backfiring too

I've got an AU where Fawful survives after BIS, but realizes how much going after magical artifacts like this mess everything up, so he decides to try to make his own, might even try to revive the dead.

Fun fact, this is one of the very first drawing ideas I thought about for Fawful Month. I was inspired by a Sonic Movie 3 drawing that was like this but it was Sonic and Shadow on the lenses, I don't have the image on me sadly but it looked cool as hell

Wait I just realized something about Superstar Saga

Like no duh we know eventually that Birdie took Peach's place to foil Cackletta's plans but like I wonder why Birdo of all people was picked for this??

Game-wise it's probably to connect things together so when Birdie appears later with Popple it's a nice touch but like

I wanna know IN-UNIVERSE why, like did Birdie volunteer? Did Peach or Peasley pluck Birdie from somewhere?

And the implications of how the Beanstar works, with a pure voice/pure soul...(we never see it tested out with anybody else) but why did the Beanstar react SO BADLY to Birdie's voice?? Is....is she doing some things we don't know about?? Is she THAT unpure? Did they know about this and that's why Birdie was hired for the job?

(Personally I don't believe Peach's voice is the ONLY thing that can properly wake up the Beanstar despite what the game states)

Yep I'm definitely overthinking things again but it's food for thought yeah?

Fawful Month day 21: 🌹Beanstar/Dark Star

And here it is, my last drawing for Fawful Month! I'll sadly not be able to continue drawing for the last week do to personal reasons, but I'm glad that I had a chance to be a part of this event!

Some of my drawings were greater than others, but in the end I'm just happy that I participated!

January 23rd of this year was iFool's 14th anniversary. Thank you to everyone who followed and supported this project. It was a lot of fun, a little stressful and I had a lot of emotional ups and downs, praise, and indirect bullying (cowards!), and everything in between. I love this project with my life and I'm excited to work on the little side stories now!

⭐ Day 21: Beanstar/Dark Star ⭐

 Funny how Fawful has seeked magical mcguffins on 2 different occasions..it just makes me sad one of them was his downfall :')) 

I was really just playing around with making lineless artwork again hehe, I hope it looks okay! 

Isn't it funny how, Fawful and Cackletta wanted that Beanstar so badly but then we never get to see it used properly?? Like AGH what does it actually do?? It grants wishes w/a pure voice and shit or else it'll get pissy but man, I kinda wanted to see it in proper use ngl xD 

AND YOU, Dark Star! I don't appreciate you turning Fawful into a goopy dark buggy fuckin mess! Nor did I ask u permission to...Dark Fawful's design slaps yea but RRRRRGh u sabotaged him! Even if it's technically Fawful's fault for awakening u...I will always have a bone to pick. 

Moral of the story is, pls don't try going for the star artifacts because it's hella dangerous for the bad guys haha...I'll see ya tomorrow for more Fawfully goodness!
