Thinking about….Casadora. 

She was born and raised in the Dark Lands, (Bowser’s Territory) and she's been living in Neo Bowser City for quite a few years now.

I find that place really interesting as both a setting and her home because usually the Dark Lands look super dry (like how brown it all looks in Mario 3 and the newer Mario Movie), but it rains in Neo Bowser City. I imagine this is the big city for Bowser’s Minions and this is where a lot of them live. That place looks huge so there's gotta be more there than just a race track. Plus it looks techy and futuristic, perfect place for a certain swirly beanish to also reside in.

Casadora easily scales buildings and knows her way around some skyscrapers. On some lonely nights she stands atop a high building and looks down at all the people. She's been all around the Dark Lands and even around Bowser’s Castle, but she always sticks around in Neo Bowser City for some reason. She's trying to find some long lost family and thinks they're still around here somewhere.

🌠Day 21: Beanstar/Dark Star 🌠

-losing so much to stars, losing so much to SUPERSTARS-

I find it very ironic that after Cackletta's plan of trying to use the Beanstar failed, Fawful tries to use the Dark Star but that ends up backfiring too

I've got an AU where Fawful survives after BIS, but realizes how much going after magical artifacts like this mess everything up, so he decides to try to make his own, might even try to revive the dead.

Fun fact, this is one of the very first drawing ideas I thought about for Fawful Month. I was inspired by a Sonic Movie 3 drawing that was like this but it was Sonic and Shadow on the lenses, I don't have the image on me sadly but it looked cool as hell

The Mario and Luigi pic is up next,,I know it doesn’t mesh the best since the banner had them not interacting side by side like everyone else, but I still wanted to make this anyways!

I had a hard time figuring out if I wanted to make the Mintful pfp but different colors or just go for a different pattern entirely, but I came up with a solution. The stripes in the background here are reminiscent of the artwork here featuring Mario’s firebrand and Luigi’s thunderhand! It made sense since...I plan on featuring their powers a lot in the comic, it’s actually pretty important, so here’s this legendary art I LOVE IT SM

Up next is Fawful and Casadora, and this is referencing an old background I used to have as my lockscreen a long time ago...which I’ve never shared in public before now (OLD ART EUGH xD)

(you can definitely tell my art style has improved lmao)

but anyways last but not least Smoker Toad and Joseph just have the same kind of background but more in their colors instead! Nothing too deep there hehe

HI FEDER!! YES YOU MAY...you may have a COUPLE facts! :D (and sorry for the delayyy! It's been a busy week ^^)

So just to put everybody on the same page for this discussion

When I'm talking about Minty Frazzles Fawful he'll be referred to as "MF Fawful"

And for Smoker Toad RP this is "STRP Fawful"

I know it may be a little weird to feature two different versions of Fawful for both of my mario stories but the fun of doing this is that these two interpretations are actually pretty different from one another! Still keeping the core traits but with different backstories and outlooks on life it can really change a character without making them outright OOC

For STRP Fawful he was raised by Cackletta, whom adopted him from childhood, being his only parental figure that he knows. Raised to be evil, he wanted to make Cackletta proud with his natural intellect (since he doesn't really know how to use magic properly). You know what happens after Superstar Saga, so he's hyperfocused on avenging his only parent and trying to prove to himself that he wasn't dead weight. You also know what happens during the events of BIS, all of that plays out normally too. Now a defeated and broken man, Fawful is transported to the Dark Lands via dark magic. He wonders how and why he survived his last attack on the Mario Bros...and grieves over more of his losses (Midbus). But despite everything, he still doesn't give up, and vows for even more revenge...but deep down...he has an existential crisis awaiting him. "Why is he even evil anyways?"

Now to MF Fawful, he wasn't raised by Cackletta at all, he approaches her near his late teens. Unknown birth parents, but was instead adopted and raised by a rich family in the Beanbean Kingdom (I haven't quite fleshed those characters out yet haha ^^ just know they're mean) he was raised to be a political pawn, someone they can use to gain an even higher standing and more money yada yada...

Fawful raised himself in your typical rich family environment, everything you could want but not the things you actually need. He had plenty of time to hole himself up inside his room and work on inventions. Most interactions outside of the house, especially back when he went to school, were unpleasant. Often getting picked on, but then he often found very intimidating ways to make them stop.

He eventually gets sick of his life...and abandons his neglectful family. Fawful determines that if he wants the respect and admiration he always wants he just has to take it by force. Upon finding Cackletta, he decides to be her apprentice, her toady. While they mutually benefitted each other Fawful was never quite attached to her as she was to him, so when she perishes...he doesn't quite miss her as much as the other interpretation of Fawf does.

Things play out mostly the same from after SSS onwards...the aftermath of BIS does not leave him very broken, just determined to pick himself back up again and stubbornly wants world conquest. Everything changes when he meets some girl in the woods after his normal salesman routine...and then he's presented with the notion of "What do you do when someone truly cares about you...and you...care back?"

I see you have a Fawful ship! How do you feel with the other Fawful ships?

(Apologies for the wait on this ask!! Been busy at work lol...) This is a nice ask cause I don't think I've officially stated my opinion on this in public? Maybe I did a while ago I don't remember I have two ships with Fawful actually! They're in separate AUs but I'm gonna take a guess and say you're familiar with Minty x Fawful (Mintful) from my AU Minty Frazzles There's also this ship I have that I made before that one which is Casadora x Fawful (Cawfie) from the AU Smoker Toad RP But anyways, how I feel about other Fawful ships? I love them! I feel like as long as the ship isn't problematic it doesn't really matter to me...I'm friends with a few people that have their own ships and I think they're cool! It also doesn't really matter to me if you never see Fawful having any romantic interest (like aroace, etc) because Fawful is a very flexible canon character. You don't know a lot about him so it's very easy to add your own interpretation and mold him into something cool! I interpret Fawful to be pansexual, personally (maybe that's me projecting onto him LOL)

And hey even if I don't like something it doesn't mean it has no right to exist, y'know what I mean?

💚Day 19: AU (ft. lovely OCs :D)🥰 

Here's the 2 AUs I have which include Fawful in it! He's a very enjoyable silly bean...and a tragic guy. 

I like to play around with what could happen after the events of BIS I'm really happy about how this turned out...it shows me how much my art has improved and how confident I feel about the designs. Even if they look a bit off-canon I'm happy to accept my style the way that it is :D 

The first Fawful is from Minty Frazzles! It takes place a few years after BIS to a Fawful that's still determined to take over the kingdoms...until he runs into Minty and shenanigans ensue. Now under house arrest in the Mushroom Kingdom, he's thrusted into new scenarios and opportunities he would have never imagined being a part of. Fawful learns to kick back and meet new friends...and perhaps even learn a whole new meaning of love and acceptance. 

The second Fawful is from Smoker Toad RP (part 1), also taking place sometime after BIS. Fawful's losses of plans and close ones alike, combined with the dark power that resides within him, haunt him to the point of schizophrenia. Fawful hides in Neo Bowser City...he wants to build a machine to bring back the dead and get vengeance on everyone that stands in his way, old and new. Having a new minion by his side makes Fawful realize the horrible weight of possibly making the same mistakes he had before... 

So there you have the AU stuff!! Could ramble about it for hours but I like to keep stuff concise. One more day of AU content in a row tomorrow btw, so I hope you're excited to see that tomorrow!
