It's time to love and be who you are authentically and without apology.

No amount of cutting yourself down to size will make someone see you as worthy. If they want that from you, they don't love you and aren't good for you.

If you have to hide to survive, I respect that and want the best for you. And what I really want is for you to no longer have to hide.

For the rest of us, it's time to be visible. I'm not much of a leader, but I'm going to be posting stuff like this routinely for the foreseeable future.

If I put it out in the world and it helps one person feel less alone and scared, if it helps one person feel a little more courage and strength, then at least I've done something good today.

It may not be much, up against all the bad in the world. But it's not nothing.

Love yourself. Love and support each other. It's the last thing they want, and it's the only way we can win.

I read this in high school, about 20 years ago. I read it again today.

It's a long letter, but it's important.

How has society degraded in such a way that disagreeing with someone = hate ?? Disagreeing with someone be it their lifestyle or political opinions or moral standards from the extreme to the mundane doesn't = hate. You can very much still care and love someone while disagreeing on things. Someone can be a genuinely nice person while having harmful worldviews. Being misguided doesnt mean theyre iredeemable.I see a double standard where people are told anyone with X lifestyle is evil incarnate but then say anyone who disagrees with their own lifestyle is hateful and bigoted. Like???

But also so funny what do you mean you're going to blow up the dorms and make sure to get as many casualties as possible because this guy spoke to his brother? What do you mean you're going to destroy an entire village or wipe out this entire family I'll be honest with you folks I don't think this is quite legal? Aren't there like. Laws? Is gatekeeper just exempt from legal repercussions of murder and building damages? You can't tell me you'll burn down every temple in all of Japan and you can get away with it just like that. Keito should've just broken his order simply to see what would happen because afaik everyone knew who those orders were coming from they had a subject to drag in front of a court of law if push came to shove and i don't think ''its for this important idol event'' is a good enough justification here....
