When playing dress up games/ picrew, do you ever select a hijab/ niqab option? Or, if there is none, do you wish that there was one?
(hijab = muslim headscarf, niqab = muslim face veil)

for my Friends in unsafe areas, here is some useful information about how you do Taqiyyah as a Hijabi/Niqabi
With trumps talks of a Muslim ban it won’t be safe to wear hijab/niqab in red states. This goes for anyone who veils as well.
Here’s what you can do.
Head coverings; Undercaps, bandanas, hoods, beanies, hats with undercaps.
Face coverings; KN95, N95, medical masks.
Note!! Kufiyas are an act of resistance and Palestinian solidarity, in rural areas and red states this can put a target on your back.
Your religious beliefs don’t have to be dimmed, your safety is most important. Especially in areas that wish you harm.

mashallah, that is wonderful, Burqa style veils are not worn by many people but they are the most holy and blessed form of Veiling
Hello!
I wanted to reach out onto tumblr to see if anyone has advice or similar experiences to me!
I am a trans man (havent transitioned but plan to), and i keep wanting to veil, but i am not sure how: i want to totally veil my whole body— similar to a burqa— but i havent chosen a religion yet and i dont want to cultural appropriate anything.
While i would dress modestly in the meantime, most clothes that have “shape” make me dysphoric, and i dont get a big sense of spirituality/safety when i cover only part of my head/face (like when wearing a hat or bandana).
Any thoughts?? :)
