So Mula is the nakshatra that is opposite ardra and naturally, it's going to deal with opposite themes or at least is going to deal with the same matter but using another tactic

this time mula instead of simply cutting the problem right away now we are going to see an individual who will find the truth by digging into it.. digging into the roots to find the source of the problem.

mula its the "matured" state of ketu contrary to ardra which is the infant or initial manifestation of rahu

mula can be just as chaotic as ardra or even worse because this time there's not head only the body, ketu, and the challenge now it is to cut off only the part of the root that is sick or bringing problems.

this time instead of cutting the problem straight away we will go on a journey to see what happens when you decide to go after to eliminate the root of the problem and its consequences.

Gerard Way is a famous 00s punk rock vocalist of a band called My Chemical Romance. he has mula moon with mercury Bharani conjucted ketu Ashwini and just by looking at his placements we can already see that he has huge ketu energy on his chart.

He is a Taurus rising with mercury-ketu on his 12th, exalted rx venus on his 11th with the sun. The 12th house is the house of liberation, salvation, losses, and things that are hidden from us and the 11th is the house of earned gains and social networking.

(i use astroseek to see the carts so i believe that might be some differences although i don't think his nakshatras change regardless)

I am going to discuss the lyrics of his albums that, according to him, are very personal.

his second band album was launched in 2004 and it is called "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge"

okay lets just start by looking at the cover because i just found out that i was inspired by "bonnie and clydes kiss" and i just checked and clyde, just like Gerard, he have exalted venus (but gerard have retrograde venus and its at revati and clydes is at purva bdp),and they have their lagnas on the same nakshatra the difference is that g's is at taurus mrigashira and clydes at gemini

meaning that sad mula emo boy took inspiration on a couple of murders to make his band's debut album and to be even more coincidental is the fact that he have strong synastry with the man meaning that

and on this album there's a music dedicated to his dead grandmother, called Helena.

I will not elaborate further on this album because the focus of my analysis will be on the second album of the band, but this first observation is here to show that Gerard's way of dealing with his pain, alongside drug use, was to write songs.

my main focus will be in the bands second album, where through the lyrics, we can see his mother's issues, his fear of abandonment, and more of his personality.

the third band's album is called "the black parade" and the band recorded this album in a haunted abandoned house where the members lived for a while only to be able to record the album. The members spent 2 months inside a haunted mansion isolated and said to have experienced supernatural stuff.

It is a rock opera and concept album centered on a dying man with cancer known as "The Patient". The album tells the story of his apparent death, experiences in the afterlife, and subsequent reflections on his life.

in short, the man died and saw his life in the form of a parade, hence it was called the black parade, it was a place where he reflected on his life choices after arriving at the afterlife.

now lets go over the album songs in a quick overview to see the story (the tracks are listed according to the order.)

"The Black Parade" focuses on the journey of a man known as "The Patient", diagnosed with cancer, as he reflects on his life and impending death. The album begins with "The End", where The Patient prepares for his funeral without expecting much mourning. In "Dead", he faces the reality of his imminent death and regrets not living his life fully. In "This Is How I Disappear", he realizes he will be forgotten and faces the consequences of his actions. "The Sharpest Lives" explores his toxic behavior and substance abuse after his lover leaves him. In Welcome to the Black Parade, The Patient recalls his father's advice to help others. In I Don't Love You, he breaks up out of self-hatred. House of Wolves sees him mocking fake faith. Cancer shows his fear of being remembered at his worst. Mama reflects on a mother's love despite her son's actions. The Patient learns that his family's love remains, like the mother's in the story. The Patient in "Sleep" faces internal turmoil and regrets, viewing himself as a monster unworthy of sympathy. Memories of his heinous acts torment him in death. The theme of disconnection from society, as portrayed by teenagers, reflects his warped perspective. "Disenchanted" portrays his wasted life and fear of death. In "Famous Last Words," The Patient finds hope for a second chance at life with his lover after facing his fear of death.

in my personal opinion, Gerard was just as personal on this opera as he was on the song about his grandmother. This time we got to see mula's form of trying to fix the problems that disturb an individual's mind.

the lyrics feel way to personal, especially knowing that mulas tend to have mother issues, as we can see on the track mama where the dying man is begging for his mother for help and he feels desperate and looking for love and care, following the "welcome to the black parade" track where the man is remembering the words of his father and that to me portrays his rising ruler, Revati venus rx at 11th conjuncted his sun, the internal feeling of wanting to save people and to do good for others

In The Sharpest Lives, he says "he promises that if he has her back he will give up all of his addictions, as her light would be so bright in his world that the sun would be ashamed", the nodes are eclipsing the sun(Rahu the artificial sun) and the moon (ketu artificial moon), here I believe he meant that by facing her without the drug addiction he would be have no choice but to actually face his shadows because he uses the drugs to run from reality to run from his head demons.

he have rahu libra ruled by his rising lord, venus 11th that is conjuncted with his sun, libra = relationships, rahu fake or artificial, the artificial sun is ruled by exalted venus and pieces also deals with addictions, maybe the sun that he mentioned is the artificial sun, the one who would be ashamed, as his soul and venus are together.

everyone wonders what happens at the afterlife and no wonder he wrote this opera..... and by last the fact that he wonders through the whole album if he wasted his life away and desires to have his lost love back, again coming back to venus and union of two souls.

by he i was talking about gerard, who i truly believe mirrored himself on this punk opera as a way to express his mental tortures and transform into art. in the end the dying man and Gerard can be the same they sound the same.

differently from ardra, mula expresses his soul pains in a way more artistic to be able to find out what is wrong with him why does he feel so much pain in his life and regardless of gerard knowing or not those pains were put in his life as a test to achieve his soul liberation, something that I believe years later he find peace.

gerard said on a interview on 2022 :

-“The triumph of the human spirit over darkness was something that was kind of built into the DNA of the band from the beginning,” he explained. “The self-actualization, the triumph of the spirit and things like that, getting through really hard things. “There’s darkness in the world. And I think overcoming that darkness, that darkness externally and internally, is a beautiful thing. It’s a challenging thing, but it is beautiful if you can do that if you can kind of triumph over that. So that’s a theme that’s definitely in ‘Black Parade’, the song, and it’s in my work.”"

Billie is a famous pop singer that has mula sun-mercury-ketu 11th, 12th shravana moon, jupiter ardra rx - rahu mrigashira 5th, with lagnaand mars at purva bdp aquarius ruled by 4th rohini saturn rx.

where we got two famous singers with big saturn (gerard have cancer saturn i forgot to mention) ketu and Jupiter Energy that they channel to create their arts, but this time is billies brother who writes for her or co-writers with her (depending on the source you use).

finneas (her brother) have jupiter rx capricorn, leo stellium (mercury, venus and rahu) , mrigashira gemini moon and saturn pisces.

billies moon conjuncts her brothers jupiter and his moon conjunct her Jupiter-rahu and his ketu conjunct her first house lagna and mars so i truly believe that they are very close to each other and can understand each others internal mental battles to me they channel together, funny because one of the symbols of gemini is the twins.

also his sun conjuncts her saturn which should bring discipline to their work.

this time we got to see how mula operates under the umbrella of rahu, mula stellium ruled by jupiter ardra. In other words, we are going to see how, through an intellectual lens, Billie channels her inner mental torture and expresses her unique yet common emo mindset to make a career out of her pains.

she have her 10th ruler at 1st, 10th jyeshta venus ruled mars aquarius, this explains why shes very famous and why we are able to see her channelized expression of herself. 10th planets are what is exposed to the world, our reputation.

the 10th house is oposite the 4th, where the fourth house is the most private house of our chart and her chart ruler is at 4th, Rohini Saturn. Wealth is what, usually a rohini wants but its ruled by a jyeshta very public venus, venus does not like to be that public (exposed) and definitely had a hard life, two things that a rohini doesn't like at all.

just like Gerad, Billie displays mommy issues within her artwork, alongside her social difficulty, ketu = detached and is with sun-mercury meaning having a harder time with her mind.

her debut album called "When We Fall Asleep Where Do We Go" was inspired, in part, by lucid dreaming and night terrors. again two common nodal themes. According to her, night terrors and lucid dream is what happens when you fall asleep.

the album talks about hopes and fears surronding drug addiction, heartbreak, mental health, and suicide.

even tho the themes are and can be very personal billie said that she and her brother like to write as if they were someone else, meaning that she often likes to separates herself from the artwork this mimics the relation with herself, the 5th house is the natural house of the sun, the ego, and its located at the 11th, the house of social gains.

so this time, the idea of being a separate persona makes way more sense to her instead of gerads, because she really feels detached from all of these matters, mercury 11th with ketu.

yet she have 4th saturn and its said to be the worst house for saturn, i truly believe that they (the siblings) channel their bad mental experiences that they had as a child to write her music because her 12th moon is ruled by 4th saturn, and a Capricorn moon is also said to experience mental anxiety and problems.

this time she might actually feel separated from the art but the art, once again, truly mimics the inside of our hearts.

so as we can see in order to heal, these two mulas use their pain and transform into art and by doing this they liberate their heads from the pain and eventually, even if takes long they find some kind of peace.

in 2021, billie launched her album called "Happier Than Ever" and this time the inspiration was the covid 19.

this time billie was more, just like the rest of the world, isolated and said that the album creation felt very natural and she also mentioned that was able to feel more confident on her work.

she further adds that self-reflection was the biggest muse behind the record and she mentioned that wrote the track "male fantasy" by herself which helped her realized some unprocessed feelings she previously had.

and just like gerald, with the help of isolation came the biggest form of inspiration.

NATO savez u Vilniusu donio odluku o Ukrajini: Zelenski pun gnjeva, stigao mu odgovor Amerikanaca

Ukrajina je suočena s nizom uvjeta koje mora ispuniti prije nego što može pristupiti NATO savezu, izjavio je danas John Kirby, savjetnik za nacionalnu sigurnost američkog predsjednika Joea Bidena. Ova izjava dolazi kao odgovor na kritike ukrajinskog predsjednika Volodimira Zelenskog, koji je oštro kritizirao vođe NATO-a zbog nedostatka vremenskog okvira za pristupanje Sjevernoatlantskom savezu na aktualnom summitu u Vilniusu. “Vjerujemo da je budućnost Ukrajine u NATO savezu. To je nešto na čemu su se članice saveza složile još 2008. godine”, izjavio je Kirby za CNN. Dodao je da postoje određene reforme, poput dobre uprave, vladavine prava i političkih reformi, na kojima Ukrajina treba raditi. Output Cut By OPEC+ Constitutes ‘Gut Punch’ To US Hegemony, Showing Its Irresponsible Policies Would ‘Shoot On Its Own Foot:’ Observers

The global oil price spiked on Monday as investors jotted over a surprising production cut announced by Saudi Arabia and other members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its non-OPEC allies, including Russia, that translates to over 1 million barrels per day (bdp).

The coordinated decision follows months-long oil price dives on fear of a bleak global economic outlook that shrank crude demand, and such worries peaked in March after the collapse of US Silicon Valley Bank - the series of incidents are all the dire consequence of US' destructive monetary policy.

Observers said the move by OPEC+ constitutes a "gut punch" to US hegemony amid the profound changes undertaking in the global geopolitical landscape, in particular in Asia. It also amounts to a reasonable defense of the victim countries of US hegemonic practices, ranging from abusing the dollar hegemony to monopolize bulk commodity market including petroleum, to instigating Russia-Ukraine conflicts for the purpose of making way for its own energy products in the European market.

The production cut should serve as a stern warning to Washington that irresponsible policies will only end up "shooting on its own foot," analysts said, while flagging that abrupt oil price climb-up could not only drain the US' strategic oil reserves, exacerbate runaway inflation, prompt foreign capital fleet but also mire the Federal Reserve in a policy dead end.

Saudi Arabia announced on Sunday that it will implement a "voluntary cut" of 500,000 bdp. Russia, a member of OPEC+, said it would extend its existing 500,000 bdp production cut until the end of the year.

Other OPEC+ members such as the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Algeria, Kazakhstan and Oman are also making cuts.

A Saudi energy ministry official said the move was "a precautionary measure aimed at supporting the stability of the oil market," the Saudi Press Agency said. The voluntary cuts from OPEC+ members will begin in May and last until the end of 2023.

"This is a bomb to the market," an industry insider specialized in bulk commodity trade told the Global Times on condition of anonymity on Monday. First of all, the scale of output slash is beyond market expectation. Second, the Saudi-led organization is joining hands with Russia to carry out the policy, suggesting a strong cooperation within OPEC+ mechanism despite US pressure, industry insiders said.

Market anticipated previously that OPEC+ members would enforce the same production policy without any fresh cuts.

On Monday, Brent crude futures and US West Texas Intermediate crude futures (WTI) surged as much as 8 percent, once topping over $80 a barrel.

A 'Punch' to US Hegemony

Responding to the latest cuts, a spokesperson for the US National Security Council said that "we don't think cuts are advisable at this moment given market uncertainty … And we've made that clear," Reuters reported.

Tian Yun, an independent macroeconomic analyst, told the Global Times on Monday the move shows that despite US pressure, OPEC+ members, as represented by Saudi Arabia, have been fleshing out independent policies that reasonably defend their fundamental interests.

"Oil sales serve as the lifeline of economies of Saudi Arabia as well as other OPEC+ members. On the heels of a potentially snowballing financial crisis, a further drop in crude price would slice them off millions of dollars in revenue, hammering the economic development," Tian said.

He added that the announced surprising cut by OPEC+ also underscored that the capacities of Washington to manipulate other countries' important policy-making are "going downhill," despite its trumpeted geopolitical tools in hands. "In the longer term, the impact will be far-reaching and could be the beginning of dismantling the US hegemony," Tian said.

In October, OPEC+ announced an output cut of 2 million bdp from November, declining a request by the Biden administration days before to delay its decision on oil output, CNBC reported.

In the oil field, US hegemony, which is fraught of plunder, has sparked widespread denouncements. The squeezing of Russian oil out of European supply market to make way for its own crude and LNG is one example, Li Haidong, a professor at the Institute of International Relations at the China Foreign Affairs University, told the Global Times on Monday.

"Blackmail, stirring up crises and conflicts, wars, and hijacking international institutions such as OPEC, it aims to keep the global crude market at its own use and as a tool for waging geopolitical struggle, rather than as a global public goods," Li said.

Last year, the G7, Australia and the EU jointly implemented a $60 per barrel price cap on Russian seaborne crude oil.

The anonymous industry insider said oil price surge could be a boon for Russia, a major energy exporter. For China, the impact is limited since the country has stuck long-term trade deals with Russia and Saudi Arabia.

While there has been a built-up consensus among countries to break up the US hegemony, a geopolitical shift is also taking place in parallel, particularly evident in Asia.

Li noted that "Saudi Arabia is well aware of the US intention to use it as a pawn in geopolitical struggle with Russia and China. Seeing through the US role as a trouble maker in the region, Saudi has been adjusting toward a more balanced relation among its ties with major global powers."

In March, Saudi Arabia and Iran finally reached an agreement, which includes resuming diplomatic relation, under the mediation of China.

'Shooting on the Foot'

A List of Known Zandalari Monarchs

Dazar, the First King (Reign: approx. 16,000 years BDP)

Dazar was the founder of Zandalar, the first to unite the disparate troll tribes, and, most importantly, the first true king of the trolls [Item: Embellished Tusk Band, Dungeon Journal: Kings’ Rest, Dazar].

According to legend, Dazar led the trolls out of the muck and up to the highest peaks of the Zandalar mountain range [Dungeon Journal: Kings’ Rest, Dazar]. Believing the region’s tallest plateaus to be the most sacred because they were home to the trolls’ honored loa, the Zandalar tribe - led by Dazar - settled the land and built a grand city of gold that would later come to be known as Zuldazar [World of Warcraft Chronicle Volume I, pg. 71]. It is implied that those events coincided with the troll exodus from their former capital in Nazmir and that Dazar was the one who guided the trolls south to escape G’huun’s malignant influence [Object: Ancient Nazmani Tablet, Object: Cracked Tablet, Object: Dazar Placard]. Additionally, seeing as Dazar united the trolls, an event that happened for the first time when the various tribes were forced to set aside their differences to overcome the monstrous C’Thrax Kith’ix, it is likely he was king at the time of the Aqir and Troll War as well [World of Warcraft Chronicle Volume I, pg. 72].

In addition to his other legendary deeds, Dazar was also the first to tame raptors, the fierce and noble creatures that have acted as companions to all of trollkind for many millennia [Dungeon Journal: Kings’ Rest, Dazar, Mount: Swift Purple Raptor].

Dazar’alor, the city Dazar built, and Atal’Dazar, the royal tombs in which he was buried, were both presumably named in honor of the first king [Page: Dazar].

King Timalji and Queen Wasi (Reign: Unknown)

Little is known about these rulers or the nature of their reign, although it is said that no one loved power quite as much as they did [Object: King Timalji Placard].

King Rokka and Queen Torla (Presumed, Reign: Unknown)

King Rokka and his sister, Queen Torla, were once involved in a great war against each other [NPC: Toki Dialogue].

The only mention of these rulers is by a single tortollan, Toki, who professes he is not sure if a conflict actually happened between them, so it is possible no such event ever occurred. Additionally, given how little information there is on both Rokka and Torla, it may be that they are not even troll monarchs at all, especially considering Toki’s many personal experiences with the mogu and innumerable other races.

Queen Patlaa (Reign: Unknown)

Patlaa was a known friend of animals [Object: Queen Patlaa Placard].

King A’akul (Reign: Unknown)

Little is known about King A’akul, although he was one of the Zandalari’s more ruthless and bloodthirsty monarchs [Object: King A’akul Placard, Item: Crown of A’akul’s Dark Reign].

King Rahu’ai (Reign: Unknown)

Little is known about this monarch. His crown can still be found in the Zandalari treasury [Item: Electrified Crown of Rahu’ai].

The Council of Tribes (Reign: Unknown)

For a time, a council of tribal leaders came together to rule over Zandalar when it was apparent no single emperor or king could. After a period of civil war and conflict over the throne, the heads of three prominent families agreed to rule together, though their political union was an uneasy one [Dungeon Journal: Kings’ Rest, Council of Tribes].

The council consisted of Princess Aka’ali the Conqueror, Kula the Butcher, and Zanazal the Wise. All three were ruthless, fierce combatants who enforced their rule through strength. Aka’ali, for example, was merciless and known to challenge those brave enough to court her – a challenge, it is important to note, she never lost [Object: Aka’ali the Conqueror Placard]. Similarly, Kula was so cruel she earned the epithet ‘the Butcher,’ although she was also clever and had an exceptional skill for strategy [Object: Kula the Butcher Placard]. Little is known about the third council member, Zanazal the Wise, although he never considered his two co-rulers as his equals [Object: Zanazal the Wise Placard].

Though the Council of Tribes brought peace to Zandalar for a brief time, the era of their rule ultimately ended when a devastating blood plague broke out that killed thousands of trolls [Item: Urn of Passage].

King Tezlekhan the Virulent (Reign: Unknown)

King Tezlekhan, Rastakhan’s great-grandfather, once tried to exile the tortollans from Zandalar. The tortollans, however, were able to convince Tezlekhan to let them stay after obtaining some unsavory political dirt on the monarch [NPC: Tortollan Seeker Dialogue].

King Rastakhan (Reign: approx., 200 BDP – 33 ADP)

Horrified to learn that the members of the Gurubashi tribe had been enslaved and were being used to summon the barbaric Loa of Blood, Hakkar, back into the world, King Rastakhan sent several of his personal emissaries to oversee and deal with the budding threat. The small group of Zandalari traveled to Stranglethorn Vale where, through their connection to the Darkspear tribe, they employed the help of Horde adventurers to defeat Hakkar [World of Warcraft Chronicle Volume III, pg. 123, NPC: Exzhal Dialogue].

Shortly after the Cataclysm, Rastakhan – under the Dark Prophet Zul’s advisement – began negotiations to unite the disparate troll tribes for the first time since the Empire of Zul had dissolved thousands of years prior [Object: The Dark Prophet Zul, NPC: Vol’jin Dialogue, World of Warcraft Chronicle Volume I, pg. 74]. Zul, acting as Rastakhan’s liaison, initially united the Gurubashi and Amani tribes, although the Darkspear, led by Vol’jin, refused to join because of their allegiance to the Horde [Trailer: Patch 4.1: Rise of the Zandalari, Vol’jin: Shadows of the Horde, Chapter 23, World of Warcraft Chronicle Volume III, pg. 209]. It was only when the notorious Thunder King Lei Shen returned a few years later that Zul was able to fully, albeit briefly, unite all of the major troll tribes. He even succeeded in rallying the Frostmane tribe, a group of Drakkari indigenous to Dun Morogh, although the ice trolls were cut down by members of the Alliance, ultimately preventing them from joining with the Zandalari [Scenario: Blood in the Snow].

To cement the tribes’ union, each of their leaders came together in a Council of Elders that consisted of representatives from the Drakkari, Amani, Farakki, Gurubashi, and, most importantly, the Zandalari [Dungeon Journal: Throne of Thunder, Council of Elders]. Unfortunately, the Council of Elders and, consequently, the united troll empire, fell apart upon Lei Shen’s defeat.

Toward the end of Rastakhan’s reign, his daughter, Princess Talanji, finally put an end to the blood troll incursion once and for all [Quest: The True Leader of Zandalar].

Rastakhan had been king of Zandalar for over two hundred years before his demise at the hands of the Alliance during a conflict known as the Battle of Dazar’alor [Object: For Council and King].

Queen Talanji (Reign: approx. 33 ADP – Present)

In the short time since her reign began, Queen Talanji has started to include non-troll races in Zandalari politics for the first time ever in the history of the Zandalari empire. Not only did the Zandalari trolls officially join the Horde under her rule, she also appointed a tortollan to her personal advisory council, the Zanchuli Council [Quest: Allegiance of the Zandalari, NPC: Lashk Dialogue].

Talanji’s decision to have the Zandalari join the Horde has formally united four troll tribes: the Darkspear, the Revantusk, the Shatterspear, and the Zandalari [NPC: Elder Torntusk Dialogue, Page: Shatterspear Tribe].

Hi 🤩💫 First off, flattery will get you absolutely everywhere with me, anon, thank you so much haha. 

I took a few days to think about how best to answer this ask because most of the Evens don’t feel so different to me that I could think of many things to say about each one. But then I thought I’d approach the Evens through their art style. 

I was a bit of an Even in high school— liked 90s hip hop, fell in love a lot, was a bit of a dreamer and a romantic, doodled and tried my hand at different art projects with mixed results, etc. So in talking about the Evens, I’m also going to talk a bit about myself if you don’t mind! 

I’m also not going to rank them this time, let me know if you want me to rank them (or to rank anything else about Skams, idc).

Even - I like Even’s drawing style and I feel it suits him very well. He never had an insta, but Isak’s season banner features a good amount of his drawings, plus the ones we saw on the show. He’s obviously influenced by American hip hop and comic culture, what with the COOLCAT, the weed, the crown, the diamonds… and the dicks. I’m very fond of Even’s Illuminati eye surrounded by boners, lol. It really feels like the kind of things a boy like Even (who loves Romeo + Juliet and Pretty Woman and Gabrielle, but also Nas and Lars von Trier and Stjerner uden hjerner and FIFA) would draw. I like that Even felt inspired by his conversations with Isak and pushed through his own fears to make art directly referencing things Isak said. Even felt scared by the possibility of parallel universes, but in order to show Isak how much he cared, his drawings for Isak all referenced parallel universes. I also like that Even’s art style is not stereotypically cute. It reminds me of the borderline gross style of Daniel Clowes and Peter Bagge.

Niccolò - Okay, so at this point I think we’re all aware that Skam Italia didn’t even have the budget for insta content, and they clearly didn’t have the budget to hire an artist specifically to create Niccolò’s art. He does have lots of drawings in his room, but then he doesn’t really draw anything for Martino? It feels like Niccolò is more of an arts and crafts kind of person, at least to me. Anyway I like that (aside from the red string of fate, which never got a follow up of any kind) the stuff Niccolò makes for Martino all reference Last Man on Earth, the TV show they bond over, in one way or another. The show is really not what I would call epic romance material, which I feel works for them tbh!

Eliott - My thing with both Eliott’s furry thing and Polaris, is that both seem really cute, but ultimately like… they didn’t mine either thing for all it was worth, I guess I would put it. Also, in comparison to other Evens, Eliott’s thing is almost developed (Eliott is after all a fictional character, not a real person) in order to elicit maximum cooing from its audience. Like, no one would say the illuminati boners or Last Man on Earth are objectively cute, not out of context! (And I’m far from a Skam Italia fan, I’m just saying.) But the hedgehog and the raccoon and the cat are all drawn in a very cute style. It feels a little too saccharine sweet for a 18-year old. However, Maxence not looking like a 18-year old might also play a part in my hesitance, because as a 18-year old I legit drew a full on comic about me and my then crush as superheroes fighting against our teachers in order to conquer college admittance tests together. (Like I said, Even and I have some shit in common lol.) And I drew my crush as a cat because he looked like a cat to me. So where the hell do I get off criticizing Eliott, y’know? As for Polaris, it’s like… Okay, so one is afraid of the light and one is afraid of the dark, and they meet and kiss right outside the cave, what else? It’s like, it’s cute and romantic, right, but not very developed as a season long motif.

David - I mean, do I have to say it? I love David and everything about him. I love that he has different art styles and uses different tools, it’s very realistic for someone his age still trying to find what his specific thing is. I love his sketches and his collages and the fact that he has a vampire persona that he draws in thicker lines. I love that he didn’t initially have an insta, and that he only got it because Sara and Leonie needled him about it, and I love that he didn’t post selfies or pictures of himself until he went through his character development. I love that his vampire persona crap is only for Matteo and he doesn’t post those cartoons on his very serious, very aesthetic insta. I love that his vampire persona looks similar to the Magdalene Hanke-Basfeld illustrations for the Angela Sommer-Bodenburg “The Little Vampire” book series. (I have no idea whether it’s intentional/an homage or just me seeing things where I wanna see them, but I loooove it.) I love that his first posts on insta really just seem kind of random (aside from the bird taking flight ofc) and like they don’t have a connection to the s3 storyline, it’s as if David really existed and made art and had ideas and thoughts before he met Matteo. I get such a kick of David’s sense of humor, like he seems kind of angry at the cliche of being barefoot on the beach and having a good time (ZUM KOTZEN!!!). Lol he’s just so delightful. I love that he can’t post a goddamn pic or video without a filter, oh no that’s simply not him!!!!1 And let me tell you about the time he made a highlights folder and named it Nights on Earth, I almost lost it on twitter I had such a great time. Anyway, David’s art and insta really scream that he’s a bit of a pretentious snob who corrects people on proper terminology and will only make cute things for the person he cares about the mostest AND NO ONE ELSE. PERIODT!

Joana - I’m a bit torn about Joana because I’m not into her more anime-esque stuff, but at the same time, god, if that isn’t me. I learned to draw by watching anime and trying to emulate the style, and because I’ve never really taken lessons, my cartoons just scream anime. I’m a bit embarrassed about it, because weeaboos and what not, and that extends to Joana as well lol. Before I revisited the Evens’ stuff for this ask, I had this idea in my mind that Joana’s art is a bit unrealistic because it seems too polished and professional for her character, but really, that’s just the piece that she in character made for the hospital/the BDP project. The stuff on the show and on her insta is actually believable as doodles or pieces she can put a bit more effort into, but aren’t like, art gallery-ready. I like that Joana started posting black and white doodles from graph paper notebooks (ftr this is the kind of notebooks most Spanish students use, lined or blank paper notebooks not so much), and started adding colors and creating more complex pieces as her relationship with Cris progressed. I think it says so much about Joana that the cartoons that represent her are always in some kind of pain, physical or emotional, but the cartoons that represent Cris (including the toads) are always cute, always happy, always desirable. Like, be more in love pls. I love that Joana is a bit of an edgelord, and uses a lot of imagery related to arrows, knives, tears/blood drops. That’s so accurate of girls like her. I love that the season banner has an actual to god vulva on it. Compared to other Evens, Joana seems more focused on drawing than anything else, so maybe that makes her video for Cris’ birthday not plausible, but on the other hand, I feel like Croana shippers could’ve used more cuteness in week 10, so you know what? Imma take that video, copypasta of “Gutten som ikke klarte å holde pusten under vann” as it is. I hope that Joana keeps posting art in s3 and s4, and so we get to see how her style develops. ✨

Jury Report

This project forms part of a 15-year relationship between Cottrell & Vermeulen Architecture and Brentwood School that has included the creation of a school reception, a sixth form centre (RIBA Award 2012) and a Learning Resource Centre. This latest project represents a shift in focus to the preparatory school, taking on a landscape of existing structures and spaces, (including the listed Middleton Hall) and adding two significant new buildings to the mix in support of the school’s expansion.

A new sheltering spine threads together and brings sense to the disparate collection of buildings, sometimes manifest as a canopy and – beneath the new teaching block – as an arcade. Adopting a classic 9-square villa plan, this new teaching building provides a reception to the preparatory school with 4 generous specialist teaching spaces for science, art and food technology on each of the upper two floors around a central hall – each with supporting ancillary, circulation and storage spaces cleverly tucked into the plan.

This arrangement results in teaching spaces having two aspects, with sophisticated planning providing very good light and an airy, calm character. The teaching block’s sister building provides a multi-purpose hall, with an independent sheltered entrance that allows for community use and for spill out space between the playground and hall.

The materials palette references other buildings on and around the site and each building is beautifully crafted with bold and playful colours and motifs.

The project has paid significant attention to delivering solar responsive design principles, with strategies implemented to minimise summertime thermal gains. There is also significant effort made to implement natural ventilation where possible, with only the teaching accommodation mechanically cooled to reconcile the excessive acoustic loads presented by the nearby road.

Manchester considers net zero carbon new build by 2023

Manchester is being urged to adopt net-zero carbon for all new buildings when it introduces its new local plan in 2023.

A task group of private, public and third sector representatives brought together by the city council is urging the radical target for all building projects, without the use of carbon offsetting or a carbon tax.

All new development should also be required to deliver a significant reduction in embodied carbon in construction from 2023, with more stringent requirements introduced in future, recommends the Manchester Climate Change Partnership.

Contractor Laing O’Rourke, developers Muse, Bruntwood, Urban Splash and consultants Aecom, Arup, BDP, Buro Happold and WSP make up the high-level council task force.

The city council has cautiously welcomed the ambitious plan to make the city an exemplar for climate change action ahead of an autumn-winter consultation on the refreshed local plan.

Luthfur Rahman , Deputy Leader of Manchester City Council, said: “Manchester is committed to becoming a zero carbon city.

“The Partnership’s Roadmap, including the proposed Manchester New Build Standard, is a welcome contribution to the important discussion about how we will achieve this goal.

“The issue of climate change will be at the heart of the forthcoming refresh of Manchester’s Local Plan.

“We will look at how our planning and development system can support zero carbon objectives, and we will consider the Partnership’s proposals as part of this process.”

In the task force’s report it was acknowledged the viability of developments will be impacted by the building cost of achieving the Manchester Standard.

For net zero carbon in operation, this is estimated to increase by 4-6% for office developments and 8-10% for residential developments.

For the reductions proposed for 2023 in embodied carbon, this is estimated to be 20-30% across offices and residential assets.

MANILA – Groups and civil society organizations this year have joined hands to denounce the decades of attacks and atrocities committed by the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) and its armed wing, the New People's Army (NPA).

In August, anti-communist groups have begun launching various groups representing various sectors of society to condemn the atrocities and violence of the CPP-NPA-NDF.

The League of Parents of the Philippines (LPP) or the Liga ng mga Magulang was formed fueled by issues on the CPP-NPA’s supposed recruitment of the youth into the armed movement.

The Hands Off Our Children (HOOC), meanwhile, was formed which consisted of various parents of students who were reportedly recruited by militant organizations with alleged links to the CPP-NPA-NDF.

Meanwhile, other multi-sectoral groups including the Liga Independencia Pilipinas (LIPI), Sulong Maralita, Duterte Youth Movement, Movement of Women for Change and Reform (MELCHORA), and the Maralitang mga Magulang ng Maynila have actively participated in denouncing the long-standing communist insurgency committed by the CPP-NPA.

In August 27, the anti-communist groups marked their very first condemnation rally at the Mendiola Peace Arc in Manila as they denounced the killing of innocent individuals and what they described as “barbaric” and inhumane activities of the CPP-NPA, which included abuses on women and the youth among their ranks.

Fight vs. communist insurgency

While the pandemic shut down businesses and slowed down social life, anti-communist groups have intensified their fight to put an end to the terroristic activities of the CPP-NPA-NDF and its allied organizations.

More multi-sectoral groups including League of Youth for Peace Advancement (LYPAD) and Coalition for Peace (COPA), Kabalikat ID, Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terrorismo (KKDAT), and other organizations joined the call to end armed insurgency and struggle.

A series of indignation and picket rallies were held in various places in Metro Manila including outside the offices of several government agencies, foreign embassies, the Commission on Human Rights (CHR).

Appeal for Joma's return

The anti-communist groups have also demanded the termination of the asylum status in the Netherlands of CPP founding chairman Jose Maria "Joma" Sison, as they staged multiple rallies in front of the Dutch Embassy in Makati City.

The groups said the Dutch government should stop harboring Sison and let him face every rap filed against him.

The groups called on the Dutch embassy to remove all forms of protection given to Sison and the rest of the CPP founding members.

The group said they must be deported to the Philippines.

The anti-communist groups said the extradition treaty between the Netherlands and the Philippines allowing Sison to be sent to Philippine custody will give a huge relief to parents who fear for the future of their children who could be the next victims of the communist group's recruitment.

The groups also decried a book titled "Jose Maria Sison, Reflections on Revolution and Prospects", which was launch in the country in February.

They said the book is a part of the CPP-NPA-NDF's move to promote their “wrong ideologies and senseless cause”.

Protection of youths vs. recruitment

Groups have also heightened their call for the protection of the youth against the CPP-NPA-NDF's recruitment and exploitation of minors including student activists, out-of-school youth, and children of indigenous peoples (IP).

They also took a swipe at the Commission on Human Rights for being silent over the terrorist activities of the NPA and the cases of missing minors who were reportedly recruited by various militant organizations linked to the CPP-NPA-NDF.

CHR spokesperson Jacqueline Ann de Guia, however, said the CHR "has never been a supporter of the armed movement or the NPA," adding that the office is clear in its mandate to "support freedom and rights of expressing opinions based on the Constitution and not the armed conflict".

She said the commission has been releasing several statements condemning the atrocities and violence committed by rebel groups.

De Guia assured the groups that the commission remains dedicated to upholding its mandate and that it is willing to accommodate the groups’ sentiments, especially the grievances of mothers whose children were allegedly recruited by militant groups.

Anti-communist groups have continued to raise awareness on the recruitment of minors through online webinars and virtual discussions with other parents.

They heightened the campaign on protecting the youth against CPP-NPA's deceptive recruitment schemes through their allied organizations.

They used the virtual platform to denounce the CPP-NPA-NDF.

'Truth tagging'

While the groups vowed to be relentless in taking to streets their denunciation of the communist insurgency, the government, on the other hand, ramped up community programs for the NPA surrenderers through the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC).

The NTF-ELCAC is a whole-of-government approach that has introduced the Barangay Development Program (BDP), a counter-insurgency plan which aims to deliver various government programs in conflict-afflicted and geographically isolated villages considered as "cleared" from the influence of communist rebels.

This program, the NTF-ELCAC said, has urged former NPA members to return to the fold of the law after realizing that there is "no good" in life while staying in the armed struggle.

The anti-communist groups hailed the bravery of the CPP-NPA's former cadres and members who have come out in the open to expose the deceptive recruitment schemes of the communist rebels through their legal front organizations.

Former rebels disclosed that students are the primary target for the recruitment process of the CPP-NPA, due to their vulnerability and innocence.

They even confirmed the ties between the CPP-NPA and the youth organizations belonging to the Makabayan bloc.

The former rebels bared the correlation and mutual relationship of the legal democratic mass movement with the revolutionary underground mass movement.

'Denial'

Contrary to what the former cadres have confessed, Makabayan bloc lawmakers in the House of Representatives have denied the allegations linking them to the CPP-NPA.

The representatives have refuted claims that their organizations serve as the recruitment arm of the NPA.

The anti-communists, meanwhile, criticized the Makabayan bloc lawmakers for repeatedly denying their connection with the CPP-NPA-NDF.

The groups also slammed Makabayan’s continued refusal to denounce the atrocities and other inhumane activities perpetrated by the communist rebels.

Remy Rosadio, LPP chair, said with so many stories of missing student activists who were allegedly recruited by organizations belonging to the Makabayan bloc, they only make them convinced that these militant groups are legal-front organizations of the CPP-NPA-NDF.

With these revelations, the groups urged the Makabayan lawmakers to resign from their posts.

Relissa Lucena, mother of Alicia Jasper (AJ), a student activist who was reportedly recruited by the militant youth group, hit the Makabayan bloc members for exploiting student activists.

"They are using the public funds to destroy our children, to destroy our families," Lucena said. "This armed conflict, exploitation of youth, and disgracing women's dignities will not end unless these politicians will withdraw their support to the communist rebels.”

Lucena is the founder of the newly created group, Yakap ng mga Magulang, which aims to address the roots of youth recruitment into communist groups.

As this year ends, the groups hope that the country will soon be free from the "CPP-NPA's lawlessness and cruelty." (PNA)

First of all anon, if you think the target audience it bi people or people with BPD, I think you need to take a stretch due to all of the reaching you’re doing. The author admitted on twitter that she didn’t even research BPD, she just gave the guy whatever symptoms she thought were correct. If I was someone diagnosed with BPD, I would not want someone like that representing myself or other people like me. (I do not have BPD and I do not want to speak over others who do, so if you have BPD and would like to add something, feel free to rb and do so.)

Most “yaoi”-type series are made with a specific audience - women, usually cishet, that fetishize mlm and their relationships. Most of the people on here that I have seen that like KS have in their bio that they are cishet, or something to that effect. There are LBTP women who read the series, and people other then women who like it, but the target audience is indeed women who love nothing more then to dream about mlm.

I know that sometimes there can be a disconnect in the content of a series and the view of an author, however, fans view KS as ‘good rep’, which negatively impacts mlm and nd people, since the series focuses on negative stereotypes about both groups.
