The Piece Maker es el álbum debut de Tony Touch, lanzado el 18 de abril de 2000 por Tommy Boy Entertainment y Warner Bros. Records .

Tony Touch ya se había hecho un nombre como uno de los DJ de mixtapes más destacados de la ciudad de Nueva York , lanzando cientos de mixtapes desde principios de la década de 1990. Para el año 2000, Tony Touch firmó un contrato con Tommy Boy para lanzar su primer álbum que no solo incluye su trabajo de DJ y algo de producción, sino también sus propias rimas. 

Contó con la producción de Psycho Les, DJ Premier, DJ Shok, DJ Muggs, True Master, DJ Scratch, Tony Touch, The Alchemist, Maseo, Showbiz, The Alchemist, 8-Off, e incluyó a varios artistas invitados, Gang Starr, Flipmode Squad, Cypress Hill, Wu-Tang Clan, Tash, Defari, Xzibit, Royce da 5'9, Doo Wop, Pain in da Ass, Heltah Skeltah, Starang Wondah, Prodigy, Greg Nice, Psycho Les, De La Soul, Mos Def, D.I.T.C., Kid Capri, Party Arty, Cormega, Big Pun, Reif-Hustle, Sunkiss, Proof, Eminem, Bizarre of D12,  8-Off, Daddy Kane, KRS-One, Kool G Rap, Don Chezina, Daddy Yankee, Ivy Queen, Mexicano 777, Rey Pirin  

Se lanzaron dos sencillos del álbum “I Wonder Why? (He's the Greatest DJ)" y "The Return of the Diaz Bros."

Michael Gallucci de AllMusic le dio al álbum 2.5 de cinco estrellas posibles, proclamando que "DJ Touch ha reunido una lista impresionante de invitados", al tiempo que afirmó que el álbum estaba "empañado por proclamaciones homofóbicas y clichés gastados". Steve "Flash" Juon de RapReviews le dio al álbum una crítica mucho más favorable. Le dio al álbum un 9 sobre 10 y en su reseña dijo: "Tony Touch mantiene su tiempo de micrófono mínimo y sin molestias y le da a una selección MUY sólida de los mejores artistas de hip-hop tiempo para brillar en las nuevas y gordas juntas. Si esto fuera CUALQUIER película banda sonora, superaría fácilmente a la película. Altas calificaciones para Touch por revivir un campo que contemporáneos menores como DJ Clue casi matan con CD aburridos".

El álbum tuvo un éxito comercial moderado. Pasó 9 semanas en el Billboard 200, alcanzando el puesto 57, pero logró un mayor éxito en los mejores álbumes de R&B/Hip-Hop , pasando 44 semanas en la lista y alcanzando el puesto 19. En junio de 2005, el álbum ha vendido más de 250.000 copias.
