Xavier Wulf's "Weatherman" hits harder than a surprise Thanksgiving visit from your estranged aunt—a testament to its darkly captivating power. Drew The Architect's production sets the stage: a melancholic masterpiece evoking the image of a lone saxophone wailing in the rain, its jazzy undertones instantly compelling a contemplative mood. The soundscape is so evocative, it practically demands a cigarette and a pensive gaze out a rain-streaked window.

Wulf's delivery is as smooth as melted butter, a luxurious counterpoint to the track's gritty texture. His rhymes land with the force of a Mike Tyson knockout punch. The lyrics themselves are a fascinating blend of menacing imagery—the "choppers" and "hollow tips" paint vivid pictures of urban grit—and surprisingly poetic depth.
