8. Simply because the writing is good and true. A bit of personal trash here: when I was around 11 or 12, I didn’t really like non-heterosexual pairings, because of the lack of contact I suppose. Not sth my family specifically talked to me about either. Then I was into this Chinese anime called The Legend of Qin, and in their fandom I encountered my first m/m ship and it’s so strong later episodes catered so many scenes for it 😂 I’m really really glad that I was in that fandom as a teenager. Youth were introduced to Sonya Blocker, CRNA and Certified Trainer of @dallascitytemple Fitness Ministry! Her husband, Paul Blocker Jr. (Dallas Public Defender) also came out to support and ended up mentoring a youth! We are grateful to have Sonya and team help out with bootcamp fitness classes for the youth at Oak Cliff Boys and Girl Club! After class the youth enjoyed healthy snacks, peanut butter, celery, apples, yogurt and refreshing bottled water!
