I keep thinking about the fact that a few people know who Venti is at this point, and honestly I like the idea that most people had figured out who he was and just decided not to deal with it.

Like yeah, he looks like the statue and there's a very good chance that he's Barbatos, but the shine wears off fast when he's just one of the local bards and seems allergic to anyone actually trying to give him respect. He's nice, and a good bard, and always seems willing to be a listening ear when it's most needed.

You wouldn't think that gods could be broke, but well. There's usually someone who will cover his tab but there's also maybe a few people who are wondering if it's blasphemous to contemplate the fact that the guy who is probably their god is kind of a freeloader.

All in all though, it's kind of nice to think that for all the divine and important stuff he could be doing, he's decided to hang out in this little quiet corner of the world with them.

Also he's probably banned from the church but no one is brave enough to actually ask the nuns, and Barbara refuses to comment.

Lord of the Rings Vintage TV Recast - Galadriel

You're traveling through another dimension - a dimension in which director Peter Jackson is currently getting ready to direct one of his biggest film projects to date, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. He has decided to cast beloved actor, John Astin, of The Addams Family fame, as Gandalf the Grey.

Inspired by this singular casting decision, Peter Jackson and the film's producers have decided to cast The Lord of the Rings films entirely with other vintage television actors. They've entrusted the process of casting for the film to whom they believe will make the perfect decisions: the tumblr userbase.

Random Doctor Who Facts You Might Not Know, Part 35

When the TARDIS was infested with a Vortex parasite, she uploaded the Eighth Doctor and Izzy to her datascape, and a manifestation of her consciousness helped defeat the parasite.

Time Lords possess a psychic empathy field.

The Seventh Doctor and his companions at one point one teddy bears during a festival. Their names were Jasper and Stewart.

The Second Doctor was able to remotely operate his TARDIS from Koschei's TARDIS.

The Sixth Doctor informed the Celestial Intervention Agency that he ran into the Rani and the Master in 1830s Killingworth, but they didn't believe him due to his "notoriously unstable" nature.

The Time Lords locked Koschei and his "friend" (we all know who this is referring to 👀) in the Tower after a "silly prank gone wrong." His friend would recite him poetry, after which Koschei would feel more in control.

Eventually, they had an argument, after which Koschei's friend escaped and left him behind. At some point before leaving, Koschei's friend wrote the following on the wall:

"Here lies the master of the dirt, the muck, the grime. May that pompous fool sit here until he learns better manners."

Koschei lost track of the time he spent in that Tower after his friend left him. He thought it could have been centuries or millennia. He said that he would get his friend back one day after he got out of the Tower.
