I keep thinking about the fact that a few people know who Venti is at this point, and honestly I like the idea that most people had figured out who he was and just decided not to deal with it.

Like yeah, he looks like the statue and there's a very good chance that he's Barbatos, but the shine wears off fast when he's just one of the local bards and seems allergic to anyone actually trying to give him respect. He's nice, and a good bard, and always seems willing to be a listening ear when it's most needed.

You wouldn't think that gods could be broke, but well. There's usually someone who will cover his tab but there's also maybe a few people who are wondering if it's blasphemous to contemplate the fact that the guy who is probably their god is kind of a freeloader.

All in all though, it's kind of nice to think that for all the divine and important stuff he could be doing, he's decided to hang out in this little quiet corner of the world with them.

Also he's probably banned from the church but no one is brave enough to actually ask the nuns, and Barbara refuses to comment.
