Le livre d'histoire

Assis dans le grand hall du palais de Jérusalem, le roi Baudouin IV, arc-bouté sur sa chaise, posa doucement un livre sur ses genoux. À ses côtés, son neveu, le jeune Baudouin, âgé de seulement sept ans, le regardait avec admiration. Le roi, malgré sa maladie débilitante, gardait toujours le sourire et le regard vif, surtout lorsqu'il s'agissait de passer du temps avec son neveu bien-aimé.

"Mon cher Baudouin, permettez-moi de vous raconter une histoire ce soir", annonça le roi d'une voix douce mais assurée. Le jeune garçon acquiesça avec enthousiasme, ses yeux pétillant de curiosité.

Le roi ouvrit le livre et commença à lire une histoire de chevaliers courageux et de princesses audacieuses, des aventures fantastiques qui transportaient le petit Baudouin dans un monde d'imaginaire et de magie. Il mimait les combats épiques et les dialogues des personnages avec tant de passion que son jeune auditeur était captivé.

Au fur et à mesure que l'histoire avançait, le roi Baudouin se mit à discuter avec son neveu des leçons à en tirer, des valeurs de courage, de loyauté et d'honneur qui étaient si importantes dans leur royaume. Il lui parla également de la responsabilité qui incombait à un roi, de la nécessité de protéger son peuple et de faire preuve de compassion envers les plus faibles.

Les minutes passèrent rapidement et bientôt le livre toucha à sa fin. Le roi referma doucement les pages et posa le livre de côté. "Eh bien, mon cher Baudouin, qu'avez-vous pensé de cette histoire ?" demanda-t-il, observant son neveu attentivement.

Le jeune garçon sourit et répondit avec enthousiasme : "C'était merveilleux, oncle ! J'ai adoré chaque moment. Et je veux être comme ces chevaliers, courageux et justes, quand je serai grand."

Le roi Baudouin IV sourit avec tendresse. "Je n'en doute pas, mon cher neveu. Vous avez déjà en vous toutes les qualités d'un grand homme. Et je suis confiant que vous deviendrez un roi aussi admirable que votre oncle."

Alors que la nuit tombait sur Jérusalem, le roi et son neveu restèrent là, baignés par la lumière des bougies, partageant un moment précieux de complicité et d'apprentissage. Dans le cœur du jeune Baudouin, une graine avait été plantée, une graine de noblesse et de grandeur, destinée à accomplir de grandes choses dans le monde.

Baldwin (KOH)

Baldwin often hides his face in his headwrap or in his hands after kissing his S/O. Both from his embarrassment and flustered behavior around the woman he loves

In parties, he probably dances along with S/O and does struggle, but his woman shows him patience and holds him to herself

Chess! He enjoys passing the time they have remaining on their visits to enjoy chess. Both losing and outsmarting his lover whenever he can

Gentle showers, I think his S/O lady would definitely be as gentle as she can with Baldwin. And wouldn't look at him as a burden but rather as a king he is. I think she'd help him clean as she would give him stares.

Roy Walker (THE FALL)

Roy will often tell his S/O stories of all kind, from wild to just absolute tragedies. But he'd try to tease or get S/O attention by often mentioning his S/O by her name

Roy drinks often and becomes a sad drunk, however he usually rests his head on S/O to let it all out

Roy likes going with S/O to the farm belonging to Alexanderia's family. Picking apples and oranges with her

Roy begins accepting his new body when he is with S/O as she doesn't treat him as lesser for simply being unable to walk. She let's him feel confident

The Red Bandit (THE FALL)

The Bandit shows his love for S/O with great yet wild gifts. Such as giant piles of rare flowers or a beautiful wedding in a foreign land

The Bandit often talks about his many great adventure, not to boast, but to convince his lady to come with him. Showing his loyalty to her

The Bandit let's himself and his S/O parent the young Bandit as though she was their own. And they stick together like a big family

The Bandit cherishes weddings, and so, his anniversary is always a different story. Wild lands, rare beasts, precious treasures? He does it all

V (V for Vendetta)

V always masters breakfasts for his S/O lady to feel good when she first wakes up. He takes it upon himself to make the best breakfasts

V and S/O's relationship can often be at stake as he is a so called criminal and she is his so called assistant. But he shows her that his love for her cannot be challenged

V enjoys practicing blades with S/O for sport as his it becomes his hobby and he is fond of it. Though he sometimes let's his persona get a bit in over his head, to which S/O teases him

V gets all types of flowers for S/O as he knows that for him, Rose's are deathly symbols, so he researches meanings of flowers just for her

King Henry viii

I think Henry prefers plump asses. Plump and big asses are perfect material for heirs in his mind. Moreover, he loves to spank and squeeze ass. This guy is very flirty and has no shame.

King Baldwin IV

I don't think it makes much difference to Baldwin. It doesn't matter much as long as he is with the woman he loves. He takes things slow in bed and prioritizes foreplay.

King Louis xvi

I think his first choice is breasts and his second choice is asses. However, his shy nature prevents him from taking the first step. He is very eager to live passionate memories with the encouragement of his lover or wife.

King Henry v

I think he prefers both. His first priority is his partner's pleasure. In other words, he thinks of the other person before himself. I think there will not be a moment that is not enjoyed with him.

King Francis II

I think he's not very picky. Moreover, he is not very dominant or very experienced. However, he tries to please his partner as much as he can. A good option for soft and gentle togetherness.

Filthy rich Republicans wish to tax poor people more so that the rich can get even more tax brakes when the GOP is in power. That's pretty much the story of Eric Hovde.

Hovde is running against incumbent Wisconsin US Senator Tammy Baldwin.

Wisconsin is a fairly moderate state. But it features some of the most despicable Republicans outside the old Confederacy.

In 2017, Sunwest Bank CEO Eric Hovde advocated for reforms that would raise taxes for 72 million Americans, including retirees and low-income earners. Hovde, a Republican, is expected to announce a U.S. Senate campaign in Wisconsin soon. Hovde, who has been endorsed by national Republicans to challenge Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin in 2024, made the proposal in a Nov. 18, 2017, appearance on the radio program “The Vicki McKenna Show.”  [ ... ] Analysis by the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center found the plan would have also raised taxes for middle- and working-class families as well as retirees. “More than 80 percent of the tax increase would be paid by households making about $54,000 or less, and 97 percent would be paid by those making less than about $100,000,” wrote Howard Gleckman, a senior fellow with the organization. “Low-income families with children would pay the most: Achieving Scott’s goal would slash their after-tax incomes by more than $5,000, or more than 20 percent. A Scott-like plan would raise taxes on middle-income households by an average of $450.” Scott’s plan failed to pass, but he has not given up pushing for it. If Hovde were to join him in the Senate and support the measure, it could gain traction. In Wisconsin, Scott’s plan would have raised taxes for 32% of people, according to analysis by the nonpartisan Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy. 

Hovde wants to take away your healthcare in addition to raising your income tax (if you're not a millionaire).

Hovde ran unsuccessfully in the Republican primary for U.S. Senate in 2012, and during that campaign he called for a total repeal of the Affordable Care Act, which in 2022 made it possible for 212,209 individuals in Wisconsin to obtain affordable health insurance coverage.
