Mistletoe

As the evening wears on, your comrades stop by your tent to inquire about the decoration above your door. You explain to them the tradition of kissing under the mistletoe. And one by one, each companion’s cheeks blush as they ask for a kiss. Some are more straightforward than others, planting a big wet one on your lips. Others more shy, opting to place their lips on the soft skin of your cheek instead. Each of them proclaiming their romantic interest in you. This fact did not go unnoticed by Gale, who you’d secretly been seeing for a few weeks now.

As your companions stare you down to see if you’ll make a choice for romance tonight. They watch each other come and go from the doorway of your tent. Gale is the last to visit.

“Hello, Tav,” Gale says softly. “Have you had a pleasant evening?”

“It’s better now that you’re here,” you reply, just out of earshot of the others.

Your friends witness Gale leaning in for his kiss. Then they watch as you take his hand and lead him into your tent. The shocked gasp from your companions clearly audible even through the canvas of your tent.

“I guess they all know now,” you say, holding the wizard in your embrace.

“Indeed,” Gale says, holding you close to him and kissing your face.

Anyone else interested in like a super jealous and/or possessive Gale who keeps his outwardly gentlemanly sweet demeanor with you in front of people, but then is like fucking ferally banging Tav senseless once they get alone? In this scenario it’s perhaps Astarion takes his flirting too far or too many people are leering at his lady.

I feel like if someone was overtly coming on to Tav aggressively he’d step in.

Why does Gale have to kneel down so that he could connect his memories to yours. He could have just put your hand on his chest and just show you, but this man had to kneel down.
