I was just telling a friend that this gif set is the thing that initiated my bloodweave obsession. From there, I discovered bw art and fics, including Ao3 for the first time. I had no idea it even existed, lol. My first bloodweave fic was 'Stay Though My Arms Shake' by lunarwench, and if I wasn't already hooked, that fic cemented it.

I've made some amazing friends, been opened to new ideas and creativity, and found immense joy all over these two dorks.

Thank you, BW community, for all the art, fics, and community. It has been such a positive thing in my life.

I hope that wasnt't out last kiss. I'd take a thousand more if I could.

Astarion Ancunin being so in love with the concept that he now can stand in the sun that he will do so before everyone wakes up. Soaking up sun like a cat with his arms stretched down at his side. Chin in the air. Gale is an early riser and he notices this new ritual but pretends to sleep longer to give him more time. Astarion standing in a halo of golden light.... his scars on display. In the moment he's far more beautiful than Mystra could ever think to be.
