Hilarious idea for Hybrid!Au… Chasca isn’t a hybrid at all. She was just raised by parrots and thinks she MUST be a hybrid because of it.

Nothing can convince her.

“Where are all your feathers?” On my head, of course. Look at this plumage.

“Why can’t you fly?” I prefer to walk.

“Why can’t you transform like other Hybrids?” I’m a late bloomer.

( P.S. since she was raised by birds I think she’d get along well with Ganyu and Shenhe. “You were adopted by a bird? Me too! We are now friends.”)

I imagine that Vet! Reader knows that Chasca is just a human, but since Chasca is Chasca, she allows her to live in the sanctuary with the rest of the avians solely because she is comfortable living amongst birds rather than humans.

Also, since Chasca isn’t an actual bird hybrid, she doesn’t have any unique animal attributes in her human form like feathers on her arms. Instead, Chasca has just convinced herself that because she is a “late bloomer” she’s just one of those skinny, bald parrots with no plumage 😭😭

any trans person should get HRT for free (no insurance required) and in exchange they should participate in the occasional study/survey.

research into sex hormones and their effects is so scarce and you have a whole ass population group who's willing to not only switch up their hormones but keep it up for very long periods of time. you could run some incredible long term studies with participants across all sorts of demographics.

while it's impossible to conduct any blind studies on this due to observable change in appearance, there's still so so so much data we're giving up on because we'd rather...
