I made mac and cheese for the first time cause I had too much cheese + just curious.🤭 Anyway, it's very tasty, but also... it's a bit much?🫣 Like, the opposite of balanced. Needs a bucket of fresh vegetables to go with it. But still tasty. Also I used SEVEN types of cheese.🧀✨ I think the fact that there's no nostalgia factor in this for me makes me less emotionally attached to the dish compared to most westerners. Either way, it was definitely a success, but I would still take a more complex pasta dish over this any day.🤭

#marzi speaks#polls#personally? i fucking hate breadcrumbs in mac n cheese#i want my mac n cheese to be stupid absurdly melty and cheesy#i want it to feel like i’m eating a melted block of colby jack with beer cheese mixed in#the only crispies in there should be any bits of burnt cheese that may have stuck to the side of the pan during the baking process#toppings like bacon can stay but they’re on thin ice. we want bacon bits and we want them to melt in your mouth#but BREADCRUMBS??? eugh . ough. gross#they start off crunchy which ruins the beautiful cheese texture#and then as you eat they get all soggy and mushy which is just Gross#and it’s not worth it. they don’t even taste good#breadcrumbs in mac and cheese is ass. i’m not afraid to say the truth

My birthday this year I’m gonna go over to our favorite media store in Idaho and get one of those mystery bags of like 10 random movies. I want to get one and watch every movie in it and that’ll be fun to breakup the usual birthday movies I make people watch with me (Doom, Hot Rod, Subterfuge…)

something ive noticed is that i love the classic Junkfood Meals such as mac n cheese burger chciken sandwich pizza etc but people keep trying to make these "better" by doing a bunch of wack shit to them. they can be good quality without having a bunch of bullshit on them. this is an incredibly specific post and not meant to be universal so i will continue and say: if i cant Hold the goddamn piece of pizza without 2 pounds of toppings falling off of it you have failed. use less toppings use flatter toppings that will stay or use more cheese and glue that shit down. same goes for sandwiches with too many/inconvenient ingredients. i am not here for food that misbehaves
