I love how anime will have all these random episodes and specials where characters are just chilling and having fun and no dramaturgical conflict takes place. Not even talking about filler episodes, just straight up bonuses like that Steins;Gate episode where the girls are baking.

Was watching this year's Halloween special of Family Guy and felt a little bad that at Stewie's plot as it would've been nice to see it play out without the conflict knowing they'd most likely never take this character in this direction never again. (I don't want to spoil the episode but you'll probably know who I'm referring to after watching)

It was a nice lesson for Stewie although one that feels like we've seen before and will be learned again plenty of times.

I get people who make fan art of their favourite characters doing things, especially those on deviantART who have realised their free will and let their imagination go loose (sometimes a bit too loose but I try my best not to judge)

Anyways yeah I was thinking about how most (comedy) shows will never give the characters the satisfaction they need because of dramaturgical conflict ans character development which can be beautiful sometimes but it can also be beautiful that we as fans can make our own fan art, fanfiction and other forms of fanon where we can give our favourite characters the good ending :U

Asides from her cousins and family, I did plan a few for her.

I likely need to rework them since they were more fankids from AUs not Ish. (Except Aster. He's saying the same asides from maybe a redesign)

Let's see... we've got Karri, who was a Friskriel kid but I'm just gonna make a brown lop rabbit monster being raised by their aunt. They're an eepy lil bun.

Arcas, was a Chasriel kid but know they're just a regular satyr/faun living with their grandparents. They like fashion

And Bahns (short for Bahnscrift) who was a Sansgore kid but now he's just a goat, lion, skeleton creature? A kind of chimera, who has two dads. Generally a very sweet kid.

Together, their all the Trip Squad! (Group of goat is called a trip, thus why I sorta tried to keep them all part goat.

Bonus Karri doodle. Their ears go up when they're surprised.

So I'm back from the Slovenia trip. (I was there bc Animateka film festival screened Entbandung there, invited me for an Q&A and paid for the hotel stay.) I went there by train, and not only did I end up stranding on my way there and having to spend an unplanned night in a small Austrian town - I also ended up stranding on my way back home, again ending up spending an unplanned night... ...in the same little Austrian town. At the same hotel. In the same hotel room even. Definitely one of the weirdest things that ever happened to me. Luckily, Austrian Federal Railways had given me a hotel voucher every time that happened. And the town is very charming, with a lovely Christkindlmarkt. So I didn't mind too much. But my way back home did double from 15 hours to 30 hours. Once I was home it still felt like I was still in a train and the world was still moving and shaking around me, until I fell asleep. Ljubljana and Animateka were great by the way. It was nice to explore the city and get to know other student filmmakers at the festival. I hope I'll one day get to go there again.

Day 25- Tram

... it's always astonishing to me how a city can offer you a serene and peaceful garden whereas also the bustling sounds of commuting from A to B.

..and of course the city has so much more to give but those two opposites had struck me specifically on that day.

The botanical garden is quiet and filled with tropical warmth and peaceful sounds such as water droplets falling into a fountain.

The U-Bahn in comparison was loud and filled with people. There was a strong gust of cool underground air which filled the tunnel and had the effect of a breeze a top of a building.

Anyways.. just some thoughts 💭
