Headcanon time!

U7 Saiyans can naturally regrow their tails thanks to a subconscious concetrated flow of ki to their lower back area. Which would help the body slowly regenerate the cells, muscles and the like needed for regrowing the tail.

This mostly happens when they're kids and teens as their bodies are still developing, whuch is why Goku regrew his tail so many times in the original Dragon Ball series.

However this is pretty much impossible to do naturally when a saiyan is fully grown, as they can create the same ki flow, but their bodies have finished developing. Which is why Vegeta never got his tail back after losing it during the saiyan saga of Dragon Ball Z.

As for hybrids like Gohan, who lost his as a child, we can just say that his nature as half human prevented him from regrowing it physically.

And as a little bonus, U6 saiyans had this same ability. But as time went by, evolutuion would lead to them losing the tail completely. Becoming more like chimpanzees rather than monkeys.

It just came to my mind cause I did not ask before but how tall is Roube and what is the average height of the Sento Saiyans? 🙂

Roube is 5ft 5, short king.

Offense Troopers vary from 5"5 ft to 6"3 ft 

Therapies are usually between 5”4 ft to 5"9 ft

Transporters vary from 5"8 to 6"10, 7ft. The highest height/weight class but they're usually units to carry resources.

If you could make one change to the saiyan's design, ANY sort of change, what would it be and why?

Nothing much.

>Allow for saiyans to have their tail colors to match their hair color if it's not the default black.

Why: I know the standard is "black hair, brown tail". I just like diversity.

>Allow for the Great Ape transformations to have variations

ex. slightly smaller ones who can move faster than the normal ones (I'm thinkin' about Titans oops)

Why: It still leads into my thought process of having "Saiyan Variants" but I just think it'd be cool.

Alright hear me out on this one:

Big brainer idea, Dragon Ball Fusions had this object called the metamo-ring which was required for the game's central mechanic of "EX Fusion"

Like you could fuse Kid Trunks with Future Trunks with this and it'd give you "EX Trunks"

So what would a fusion of Z and S Broly look like to you?

Mentally, I see (base) Z's long face, eyes, and dimples with SBroly's facial scar and tanned skin. His hair pattern would be a mix of both in base. Like I can picture it but I'm running on E rn to show it.

Hello, so I have been looking at your sento saying content, and I was wondering, what would your thoughts be on, like, a sub species of saying that evolved into a more different mammalian, style/group. Like larger bear like saiyans, or semi, to full aquatic saiyans, who after A LONG time they evokved similar to, like whale esk saiyans, now I have been trying to keep it in the realistic evolution, so no mammalian saiyans evolving into reptiles, but yeah I just wanted to know what you think of such a concept thanks for reading 👋

I'm all for it, hell. Saiyans are the type of race which Tori made pretty clear are inspired from gorillas/apes. The thought of other variants actually isn't far-fetched at all.

While being inspired by Japanese Macaques, the very first thought came from the question I asked of "what if there were Saiyans that weren't close to the kingdom?" So I started thinking about Saiyans like Turles who mainly roamed off-world. So then I shifted thought to "what about 'regional' type saiyans?" Ones who lived either in different climates or locations. Obviously they'd look different than what we're used to seeing. And the rest is history.

The best way to crank up a creative process is to examine the source, ask yourself what you think could be inserted that would likely make sense and then build from there. Or do what I do and so thought maps.

Saiyans > Apes/mammals >Aliens >Variants >regions > hot/cold > arctic > fur(?) > tails > does the environment affect them? > aggresive(?) > no real threats (Frieza) > passive/docile

What sort of traits and characteristics would half Saiyan/half Sento Saiyans take on? And how about half Human/half Sento Saiyans?

Half-Saiyan/Sento Saiyan can rage between some variations:

-(Paternal Sento Saiyan parent) x (Normal) Saiyan Parent : Child will likely inherit: golden tail, facial mark, dark scaleras, yellow eyes, fur/no fur

-(Maternal Sento Saiyan parent) x (Normal) Saiyan Parent: Child will likely inherit: white hair, dark skin, black fur color, yellow or other eye colors

Same can go with a human mate and it can mix and match. Sento attributes come through a lot stronger with each new generation born.

Hi, I recently discovered your Sento AU and fell in love with it! I couldn't find any about this in your posts so I wanted to ask: are there trans Sentos? And if so, what is transitioning like for them (like do they have HRT, do they have to socially transition and is it a smooth process, etc.)?

So there are but in the post-Orran war era. Before, while trans Sentos were recognized on a social level, they were against body augmentation but only because mutilation (in general) was frowned upon by the Elders.

Socially, Sentos who do identify as trans will likely wear specials trinkets/necklaces or specific color beads around their person.

After the Orran war, Goku would likely bring around people like Bulma that would likely devise better practices to help improve their technology for smoother transitioning should they desire the body augmentations.

If you could, would you make any changes to the saiyan's canon design to make them more alien? And if so, what would they be and why?

Well first, I'd make it mandatory in some fashion that all Saiyans would have tails. U6 can remain tailess just to have that evolution variant but I'd want one of all flavors.

-Tails, tailess, human-like, alien-like, all containing a certain defining feature (physical or attribute)

Things like that allow for more possibilities and opportunities to create stories or anything you'd set your heart to and it can work.

Let's take a look at the U7 saiyans and U6 saiyans in canon, just for a moment.

From an artistic perspective, I'm fine with the way both saiyans look. But I'm sure I can't be the only one who thinks the saiyans could be altered to be a little more, I dunno, ALIEN?

Your designs for the Sento saiyans are a wonderful example of how we could make U7 or U6 saiyans look less human!

(And for the record, I have no qualms with anyone who may not agree with this. I just wanted to get another opinion on how the canon saiyans could've been improved in terms of design. Thank you for listening to me rambling, and have a good day/night!)

Real actually. Saiyans to me are the type of race you can still make within a human visage but also take it to the other end of the spectrum where they can look (really) alien-like and that's what I wanted for mine. Everyone makes Saiyan OCs but I'm always looking to step outside the box. I thought that was what they were going to do with the other universe saiyans when they announced the multiverse but sometimes you gotta do it yourself lol
