this is an urgend call for help! I'm a 29yo teacher in europe and I have a problem with one of my students. He's 18yo, the star of the soccer team and of the whole school. he's looking at me and talking with me in a very special way. So I think he has a crush on me. I've to give him a lot of detention but he seems to enjoy it. Last time he says at the end: "soon you're one of us - your countdown is on...' pls tell me he hasn't used your program. If he has, stop this countdown immediately
According to a scribble in the student restroom, you are supposed to be the school's sexiest teacher for the third year in a row. Someone has sketched your cock next to this note. Obviously life-size, because the doodle is impressively large.
Well, you can't be the sexiest teacher for the third time because you've only been here at the school for two years. Before that you were at university. First in Milwaukee. Then actually only for two semesters in Lund, Sweden. But you fell in love with Sweden. And now you are very happy to have got a job as a sports and math teacher at the sports high school in Malmö. Sport here at the school usually almost automatically means "soccer", but as a native American you have less to do with it. Your sports are badminton, athletics and windsurfing in the summer.
You almost despair of the soccer star. A stinking lazy pupil. Certainly not stupid. But really lazy and uncooperative. According to his coach, he is the most disciplined person imaginable on the pitch. Here in math class, he's definitely not. Absolutely not! "Soon you'll be one of us - your countdown is on". That was yesterday… Today, once again, he didn't even show up for math class. Shit, he's ruining his whole career. Besides, you kind of miss him… He's not just a student… He's also kind of… A buddy! Damn, you can't have thoughts like that with a student!
You are looking for your student on the soccer field. Of course he's there. Of course he doesn't have a guilty conscience. Shit, of course you can understand him. After all, soccer is your life too. It was always your dream to become a professional soccer player. But unlike him, you were simply never good enough.
You try to talk him into his conscience without being such a bourgeois. You want to come across as cool. But on the other hand, you also know that you have to assert yourself as a teacher. It's your last traineeship. You'll graduate next year. Now you're still somewhere between the teachers and the students. It's a shitty situation. And the jock just laughs at you when you reprimand him. He says you'll soon be in detention together.
You are actually a really hard-working student. You are very keen to do well in your exams. You definitely want to work as a teacher at this sports high school. Soccer and math. That would be exactly your combination of subjects. But you can't study tonight. The day as a volunteer at the school was really exhausting. Before you go jogging for another hour, you look in the mirror as you change into your sports clothes. The fucking spots just won't go away. You still look a bit like you're still in puberty. But you finally seem to be growing hair on your chest. Maybe you will become a real guy after all. Whether the soccer star likes hair on his chest. Or if he has any himself? The thought of him gives you a boner!
When you wake up the next morning, you pick up where you left off yesterday. With a boner. My goodness, since you've been doing the internship here at the school, you've been kind of hard all the time. Of course, you've got a whole lot of damn tight guys among the other freshmen at your university… But the boys here at the sports high school are in a different league. They wank wherever they go and wherever they stand. And since you've been here, you've joined in.
You've been given a single room at the sports boarding school for the duration of your internship. You have a washbasin in your room, but you share the toilet and shower with the boys from the upper school. You're 21, hardly older than the guys who will be graduating this year. But you're still not allowed to fuck them. Even as a freshman and an intern, you are formally a member of the teaching staff. What a load of shit! How you'd love to let the star of the soccer team fuck you in the shower. It's obvious he wouldn't be averse either.
The internship sucks. Sitting in class without being able to shape it but already knowing everything is even more stressful and boring than it is for the students. Nevertheless, you try to look like you're paying attention and taking notes. This is actually more of a strategy to avoid falling asleep. You can hardly wait until soccer practice finally starts. You can just play along. You're more of a pupil than a teacher. The coach praises you and says that you're wasting a great talent as a sports teacher. He asks you to take the team star under your wing for a while. He could certainly learn a lot from you. Hehehehehe, you think to yourself. I'm sure you could from him too!
After training, you go to the gym for a bit of strength endurance training. Suddenly the soccer star is standing behind you. He runs his hand under your sweaty jersey and plays with your nipple. Thank God you're alone in the gym. You take off your jersey and he sucks on your nipples like a puppy on its mother's teats. Shit, his smell of wet grass and sweat alone is driving you crazy. With one hand you take your boner out of your pants. With the other, you push his head down. He blows like the devil. And you cum like a fire hose.
A delicate fuzz appears on your upper lip. That's the only good thing about fucking puberty. Your voice is cracking. Your pimples are annoying. And every other morning you wake up in a huge mess in your bed. Every morning that Lars hasn't blown you first. Or you blew him. You're congenial on the soccer pitch. Whatever congenial means. But the coach always says that. You think you're totally congenial in the shower and on the toilet and in all sorts of other places too. The fact that Lars and you met here at the boarding school is damn lucky!
You've been inseparable since you were 18 at the latest. During the week at Intermat, at the weekends either with your parents. Or at his. Your parents are cool. Although you're not sure if they know what you're up to.
Lars and you both think school sucks. You're here to become professional footballers. You don't need fucking math or history for that. Your coach predicts a glorious future for both of you. The man is cool. He's ancient, probably already 30 or so. But much more relaxed than your other teachers. And he'll cover for you if you skip math again. But only if you've used the time for fitness or technique training. If you don't show full commitment, the coach has no mercy.
It is an honor to have been accepted at this school. You have no intention of disgracing the school!
It's a common saying that the two of you only exist in a double pack. Your classmates have turned 'Lars' and 'Zlatan' into 'Latan'. It's no coincidence that your name is Zlatan. Your parents are huge fans of Zlatan Ibrahimoviv. And the fact that you made it to school here in his community, that you are the second Zlatan to become a national player from Rosengård, makes your parents proud. But if you become a national player, Lars will also have to play for the national team. That's a matter of honor. You look at yourself in the mirror. The fuzz on your upper lip isn't quite ready for a cool beard like the one your role model has. And your parents never allowed you to have long hair. But since you've come of age, you've let it grow. It won't be long before you look like the great Zlatan!
You don't like it when Lars and you are put on opposing teams in tournaments. But Coach is right, of course, he needs to train your killer instinct. An opponent is an opponent. Even if you occasionally get shagged by the center forward. And how you get fucked. Shit, your cock is already famous in the changing rooms near and far. But against Lars' beast… You're nothing…
It's pouring with rain. The soccer match was a mud fight. But you won. "As we agreed, the loser has to blow the winner" you tell Lars after the final whistle. "I can't wait to suck your cheesy boner clean" Lars replies with a grin. Even though almost everyone knows that you are a couple, you are usually rather reserved in public. But today… Fuck it!

BESTIE BESTIES OMGGGG I JUST THOUGHT OF SOMETHING SO DEPRAVED OMGSJSJKSK. Older!Coach!Ari is a famous sports coach/trainer and is training reader on her upcoming badminton match. Basically reader is a typical rich brat and is constantly butting and being bratty with Ari, but deep down all she wants is to be praised and coddled. Ari at first hates her bcs rich girlies are annoying but then once he recognizes that her brattiness is all just an act and that she's actually just a soft hopeless unloved bean irl, he starts coddling her and praising her for playing good badminton. Like calling her a good girl, rubbing her hair, making her eat etc. Plus he's got all these cute nicknames for her.
And the best part!!!! Reader wears these pastel short ass tennis skirts (yk the ones!) and just practices her badminton in them. They're so cute and short that her lil ass is always peeking and every time she bends down to grab the shuttle, Ari can see her pretty pink panties. Ari would just come up behind her and slap her ass or hold her arm and try show her how to throw properly (yk the typical move where guys get behind the girl and teach her how to do something??). She's sooo tiny next to him and so soft and shy and bratty. He'd finger her right there on the practice ground and would scold her for trembling or moaning too much or not throwing the shuttle properly. Or he'd slap her baby cunt when she's being bratty or he'd make her go down on him and go down on her in the showers. He'd do everything but fuck her (plus points if she's a virgin owwww) and reader begs for it alllll the time but he'd always reject until!!! The reader finally wins the competition she was supposed to be trained for and Ari finallyyyy fucks her because she did such a good job. Basically it's just filthy and crazy and adorable. just everything is so rough and depraved but also soft???? Kill me.
This is so long and not coherent at all. I am sorry 😭. SHOULD I WRITE A FIC ON THIS????
Oooh bestie this is so hot! I’m no expert with moodboard, but I put something together 🫣
I can totally imagine beefy dilf tennis coach!Ari, he’s super strict with his students and always seems to be in a bad mood. He doesn’t even train girls because he thinks they don’t belong in the courts, but you’ve decided tennis is your new hobby and your rich dad pays the best coach around (Ari) to teach you… 🤔🤔
And Ari doesn’t even take you seriously, always calling you a “spoilt little girl” and “daddy’s little princess who hasn’t worked a day in her life” 😭 But you’re all sunshine and giggles and so soft and sweet and cute in your pastel tennis dresses and designer racquets and special pink tennis balls! And you’d pout at him like, “Please, sir, I just wanna be as good as you 🥺 won’t you help me?” And dilf!Ari tries to resist because you’re like half his age (🫣) and also bc you’re an annoying privileged brat but he can’t help but cop a feel when he’s trying to teach you how to stand and how to swing and all that. Just his fingers brushing against your butt or the way he grips your hips as he positions you on the court 🫠 and he can’t help but get excited and happy when you do well in practice, although he tries to hide it and keep up his grumpy, disinterested persona.
I can totally imagine you skipping over to sit in his lap during breaks, perched on his knee all innocently while Ari’s eyes practically bug out of his head at how cute you look, your pastel pink tennis skirt flaring up with the wind, the front of your dress all wet bc you’re swigging your water while making eye contact with him as half the bottle drips down your front. And Ari’s so hard because you smell like candy and you’re just so cute and sexy and little but he can’t, so he shoves you off all like, “watch it, little girl. I’m your coach, not one of your boy toys that you play around with.” And you just bat your lashes at him like, “I wouldn’t mind if you played around with me, daddy.”
And Ari just can’t take it anymore, and he drags you into the court changing rooms and pulls you over his knee and gives you a good bare bottom spanking 😳😳😳 “You want to act all slutty on my courts, little miss princess? I’ll show you what happens if you even try.” And he just spanks you till your ass is raw and then he makes you practice doubly hard but he can’t help but notice how submissive and cute you look and how you seem so interested in him and how he could really teach you a lesson or two (not to do with tennis). So he fingers you as a reward for practicing so hard, “And guess what, princess? Daddy can make you feel even better if you keep being good for me.” And you work sooo extra hard in your tennis bc you want to impress your daddy (Ari) 😌😌😌 and bc he promised to make you feel good! And you want to have sex with him soo bad bc you’re a virgin and you’re so ready but Ari won’t 😭😭😭 you’re like, “Please daddy, I’ll play even better in the competition if you fuck me🥺🥺🥺” And he slaps your baby cunt and tells you that daddy knows best and he’ll fuck you when he pleases 😭😭 ALSO THIS IS ALL KEPT A SECRET FROM YOUR FATHER OFC.
And I’ll stop there but bestie you inspired me so much!!! And idek where this all came from!!! I love this cute lil tennis concept you came up with!!! I just couldn’t help but keep writing bahahaha 💕💕💕🫣🫣🫣🌸🌸🌸🥰🥰💞💞

10 Facts about me
Thanks for the tag @midnightprelude =)
I currently have ~44 houseplants. My favorite changes by the week, but my christmas cactus, pink panther, and philo brasil are often up there. Oh and my tineke. And begonia. And birkin. Oh and my piper crocatum. Actually I love all of them except for my aloe and the jade plant that is intent on dying. If anyone in Chicago wants an aloe, it's yours.
In high school, I won second place with my bestie in a lip sync competition at the Valentine's Day dance (which was called Cupid Night Out, which was a riff on Stupid Night Out, the autumn dance, and needless to say it was less a formal and more a ridiculous costume party).
Bestie and I reprised the award-almost-winning performance at her wedding reception.
When I lived in China, my (awful) boss once called me drunk at 10pm to demand I take a taxi into town to the karaoke he was at and sing "Tian mi mi" for his Communist Party friends. I pretended my phone cut out and went to sleep.
That same boss did successfully bully me into pretending to be a member of the American Kung Fu team so that the local kung fu competition would count as "international." I had to wear athletic clothing and march in a parade similar to what you see in the opening ceremonies in the Olympics, complete with a young girl in a fancy dress holding up a sign proclaiming us the American Kung Fu team. We were on tv. No, I do not know how to do a single move of kung fu, and neither did anyone else on the "team."
Around five years ago, I stopped using an alarm clock to wake up and learned I naturally have "the sleep schedule of a medieval peasant," aka I tend to wake up with the dawn and rarely stay up past 10.
During my first trip to China (mainland) in 2008, while a friend was taking me to his favorite restaurant near his college, I fell into a manhole. The manhole had a cover, but it flipped up when I stepped on it. Only one foot fell in, and the cover hit me in the chest so hard it's possible I cracked a rib. I could not get out of bed the next day. Dinner was good, though, once my friend pulled me out. Honestly I was just thankful my sandal didn't fall off.
The first time I ate a deviled egg was in high school during the regional tennis matches. A local elderly woman would come every year with a picnic for our entire team. As far as I know, she never came to a single other event at our school (maybe the boys' regionals?). When we made it to state, she sent another picnic with us. I wish I remembered her name.
I got my driver's license the day before I was starting a job I had to drive to. There was a bug in the car, and the tester, after warning me she wasn't going to say anything to me other than directions, whacked me repeatedly with her clipboard when the bug landed on me, and then spent the rest of the test talking about how insane it was that there was a bug in the car. I passed.
I was taught badminton from my college's football coach and he told me I was his favorite student because I never stopped smiling. And that is because badminton is the funnest sport I've ever played.
tagging @queso-magnifico @ninepoints @juliafied @redmapleleavesonwhitesnow @vimlos
#serious about the aloe I just don't want it anymore#I was so bitterly mad about the kung fu thing ahahah#we looked so stupid#like yes we had exercise clothes but we didn't have a uniform#so we just looked kind of like slobs?#like idk I don't exercise in cute outfits#it's old tshirts#shout to jo for the comment about my sleep schedule#thank you fili mou but if I were a medieval peasant I would certainly be dead

15 Q 15 FRIENDS
Thank you @sedicii for the tag!! ⭐
Are you named after anyone? Nope! My parents actually changed my first name at the last minute after encountering a child with the name they had planned on using for me two weeks before I was born. Apparently that kid was a menace, so they quickly scrambled to find another name.
When was the last you cried? Probably a few days ago. I cry a lot for strangers online.
Do you have kids? No and I won't!
What sports do you play/have you played? I've done gymnastics, track, badminton, figure skating (I wanted to do ice hockey like my brother but my dad was a coward). Anyway in the end I figured out I'm not made for team sports
Do you use sarcasm? I would never
What is the first thing you notice about people? If they try to keep a conversation going by opening it up to other people (with questions etc)
What is your eye color? Brown!
Scary movies or happy endings? Both! I used to be more brave with scary movies, now I only really watch them with friends
Any talents? Nothing of note!
Where were you born? In a clinic!
What are your hobbies? I like reading although I'm kind of in a slump right now. I also love journaling and I just got gifted a fountain pen that I've been wanting for a minute, and I received some of my dream inks last Christmas so I want to be more regular with journaling again!
Otherwise I play video games quite a lot, mostly roguelikes.
Do you have any pets? I do! He's an orange cat and I'm teaching him to meow in English so he'll be ready for the move to the US 🐱
How tall are you? I thought I was 1.53m until my medical visit for my VISA and they said 1.51m 🧍
Favorite subject at school? English lit for sure!
Dream job? No clue. Throw me in anywhere coach. As long as there's structure! I don't think I know 15 people here yet 🧍 Obviously you don't have to participate if you don't want to! @kazoologist @ghostellie @mercurial-vroom @powerful-owl @dwarvenchords @box-box-blorbos @petit-naldo @vicsbasement @wanderingblindly @charlalos

15 questions, 15 mutuals
thanks for tagging me @trentcrimminallybeautiful ! 💕💕💕
this got long, oops
are you named after anyone? — i don’t think so. i think my parents just liked the name. altho coincidentally my name is the feminine version of one of my dad’s middle names, and of a another relative’s name. and apparently my mom had a close childhood friend with my name as well
when was the last time you cried? — like, maybe a couple hours or however long ago when i saw that one meta destiel despair meme, you know the one. but like properly? i’m not sure
do you have kids? uhh no. seems a bit personal, person who wrote this post template 🤨
do you use sarcasm a lot? — ✨no✨
what's the first thing you notice about people? — their hair, maybe, or like the way they carry themselves, idk
what’s your eye color? — brown 👀
scary movies or happy endings? — i don’t think these two things are comparable, or mutually exclusive. but i always love happy endings!
any special talents? — i think i’m a pretty decent traditional artist (but none of my good art is on my blog so pls don’t go checking lol). i also have quite a good eye for detail and a knack for learning new skills; i feel like a jack of all trades sort of person, which i guess is the opposite of your question…
where were you born? — canada 🇨🇦 *coach beard voice* dual citizenship, babey!
what are your hobbies? — drawing, wasting my time on tumblr, biking around, making bracelets, a little bit of gardening rn, and mildly bird watching
have you got any pets? — not anymore 😔 my beloved doggo passed away about a year ago (he had just turned 15!) and it was very hard for us to go through. he was quite literally my oldest and closest friend. we’ve been considering getting a new dog soon, but we have to be sure that we have at least one person at home at all times to help raise it from a puppy
what sports do you play/have you played? — as a kid i was made to join ballet, softball, baseball, and soccer teams, and i was terribly average at all of them. on my own time i enjoy badminton quite a bit, but our lawn is infested with moles so now it’s too dangerous to be running around on there. and as a kid we would build an ice rink in the backyard and play hockey which was super fun. oh, and i also did marching band for a few years and i’m including it as a sport because fuck you that’s why (not you you. you as in the faceless being that determines what a sport is)
how tall are you? — i think i’m 5'5"/5'6" ish, so about 1.66 meters ?
favorite subject in school? — i’m not even sure anymore. i’ll cheat and say design because that was my main subject at university
dream job? — i would love to be paid to travel the world, see sights, and learn new languages. like, imagine a few months or one year per country, ooohh
tagging: i’m tired, so instead i’m just gonna open this up to anyone who wants to do this, mutual or not, following me or not. consider yourself tagged by me!

Shane Rose Takes 4*-S Title, Kiwi Young Riders Triumph at NZL Land Rover Horse of the Year Show

Australia ruled in the Land Rover CCI4*-S this weekend at New Zealand’s Land Rover Horse of the Year show, with the visitors claiming a hattrick in the Oceania Eventing Challenge and Olympian Shane Rose riding off with the individual title.
Finishing behind Shane and Virgil’s 30.8 penalty score, was Oliva Barton (AUS) in second on 33.9, with Andrew Cooper (AUS) and Sharvalley Thunder in third on 38.2. Diane Gilder was the best of the Kiwis in fifth on 47.4.
Australian chef d’equipe Stuart Tinney said there was plenty to love about their Land Rover Horse of the Year Show. “It is a wonderful show,” he said. “The cross country was a great track and it is just what we need to get into this sort of environment. It is so valuable.”
He was excited for the future of their riding coming through. “They all did a great job out there.”
The challenge of the cross country course not being able to be walked in full until just before the class added another layer of learning for all.
“It is a great learning curve and something you only see at big events and all good experience.”
He was confident there was plenty to take away for all from the event, including experiencing travelling with horses and being part of the whole team environment. Having Shane Rose there too was also a real bonus especially as all of those who had made the trip have a desire to represent Australia at World Champs or Olympic Games in the future. “It is a fantastic effort for Shane to win for his journey in preparation for the Olympic Games. I am very proud of our training programme and coaches moving for the future.”
New Zealand chef Jock Paget reiterated his words, saying it has also been a great opportunity for the senior riders to experience the pressure of a team environment at LRHOY which had a real international feeling.
“This is part of the bigger picture for our programme and it is at these types of events that you get the hardest lessons. Now it is up to us as a programme and the riders to look at what we do, find the gaps and close them.”
In the end, Australia finished on 161.3 penalty points for their best three combinations, with New Zealand on 203.

Just two combinations – Shane Rose and Olivia Barton (AUS) aboard Hollyander HG – finished on their dressage scores, with five combinations coming home clear in the showjumping including New Zealand’s Madison Seivwright aboard Waitangi Pinterest and individual Donna Edwards-Smith with DSE Mendoza.
On hand to see Shane Rose win was Virgil’s owner and breeder Michelle Hasibar. It was his first-ever win at LRHOY. “This was a massive part of my Paris programme and it was key to get my qualification here.”
He figured LRHOY would be perfect for the 18-year-old horse to get it ticked off and allow them to continue with their programme. “If he goes well, he is normally pretty competitive,” said Shane, who loved that the cross country was so late in coming together due to it sweeping through the whole showgrounds.
He was chuffed to receive the Sir Mark Todd Trophy. “It’s pretty special that Mark has so generously given his 1994 Badminton trophy for this.”
Shane would love to see more competition between Australia and New Zealand including a Trans-Tasman series that could run over a season.
It was New Zealand for the double in the Fiber Fresh CCI3* eventing with the young rider team winning the Oceania Challenge and Kiwi Abbey Thompson aboard Cadbury KSNZ winning the individual.
Riders came back in reverse order with barely a change in the top seven combinations, albeit a shuffle of placings.
Australian Molly Lines and Tadpole posted the first clear of the class for her final tally of 38.2 penalty points, which was quickly bettered by Abbey added nothing to her 36.9 score. Last to go was overnight leader and New Zealand Oceania team member Bridie Quigley aboard Oranoa Greyson who were dreadfully unlucky to take the last and finish on a score of 37.4 for second placed behind Abbey with Molly in third.

Bridie’s calm riding saw the New Zealanders hold on to the Oceania 124.7 penalty points to the Australian’s 130.2.
New Zealand chef d’equipe Lizzie Green was very proud of her crew. “They are such a great bunch and a very tight knit group,” she said. “It is very important to have that unity in a team. They are all very good riders and exciting for the future.”
She again underlined the importance of team competitions for the future of both New Zealand and Australia.
Individual winner Abbey, who heads to the UK after competing at the Adelaide next month, was rapt. “He tried his heart out,” she said. “He was a bit tired after yesterday as I don’t usually go that fast on the cross country but I decided I needed to get into that rhythm.”
It’s eight-year-old Cadbury’s first LRHOY and Abbey says he coped well with the atmosphere and pressure. “He is so sweet and easy to have around and is a very genuine horse.”
She was doubly happy for the win, given she’s been second more times than she cares to count at New Zealand’s bigger competitions.
“I certainly didn’t think I would be winning at the beginning of the week.”
She and Cadbury head to the UK on a one-way ticket and will base with Harry Mead in Wiltshire.

word count:
Before I start, I will say I have strong suspicions these tiktok rcta and/or ecta things are satire or clickbait then got people fooled then got angry people to satire them back and now we're stuck in a loop
also tall stack of tw: racism, xenophobia, exoticism or fetishization then brief mention of homophobia, queerphobia, sexism, immigrant parents trauma, slurs
at least, I hope everything is a grand prank because my brother told me nobody actually did the tidepod challenge (not the sponsored one), it was a hoax people fell for. I don't know?
These rcta or ecta tend to pick Asian. You want to be Asian so badly? Okay then. I'll help you:
Parents always compare you to cousins, siblings, or some other kid of friend
parents disapprove if you're an art major
you must hide your tattoos unless it's eyebrows or lip
get called a slur if you're gay/queer because there is no real translation to "gay" or "bisexual" etc.
you must be a doctor, lawyer, dentist
straight As in everything even if your parents don't know English
after school sports/music or study/tudor
the sport is probably tennis or badminton
the music is piano or violin
music is just to show off to family gatherings, not a career choice
parents insist you're doing it wrong even though they'd never done it and you already got the best coach
your American name is probably Jenny because it's simple for parents who can barely speak English
parents ask you to translate every letter in the mail and/or help write a text message or email
if you're a girl, your brother will receive strong favoritism
"wow, you look so handsome after your haircut" (you both got haircuts...)
gender bias and gender stereotypes and sexism
spanking with a giant chopstick or la chancla
this is not child abuse, this is normal parenting
people blame you for the pandemic
people poke fun of your small eyes and smelly lunch
people always assume you can read Chinese characters even if your language only has Latin letters
receive whitening cream if you have natural tan/olive skin
were told you must be friends with only Asian people ... although White people are ok
if you're Vietnamese, never hang out with Black people or Mexicans
even if they're not Mexican, all Latin Americans are "Mexicans"
hate on the Chinese because Communism and colonialism trauma
get called any of the East Asian nationalities even though you're actually ASEAN
if you identify as Japanese and work in an office job, then you put work above everything else
you're a kid and identify as Japanese or Korean, you help the declining population
if you're a kid and identify as Chinese, you either have 1 or 0 siblings
aunties are always blunt about your physical appearance esp weight
pda is frowned upon
receive hair straightening products if you have natural curly hair
say you like the cut watermelon or mango once and your parents buy you a whole pack of 50 the next day
parents are always right and you're an ungrateful child for disagreeing
parents never listen to you and if you try to reason, you're disrespectful
parents threaten of disownment or toss you outside in the streets
parents make fun of you for small mistakes
lectures for every small joy in life
teachers assume you are fluent in (language) and must help the new kid even though you're a heritage speaker who forgot
teachers assume this one English word doesn't exist in your language even though you simply forgot the word
teachers will teach media covering AAPI and command the class to never correct them because you're all a bunch of rowdy kids and I can't be bothered to pronounce everything correctly
your name is too hard, do you have an English/American name?
parents dictate how to eat, including which order or how to cut it a specific way ... why? for best enjoyment
even if it's a simple burger
"you can do this" actually means "you should do this"
anything you say can and will be used against you ALWAYS
you're always too skinny or too fat
"wow, you're a weak eater" yeah I wonder why
you can't do that physics project because you're a girl, even though everybody is required to do it by themselves
girls can't be engineers
if you're a Korean gal with short hair and athletic, you'll be called a "feminist" derogatory
you can only marry other Asians
preferably "city Asians" (you know the derogatory term)
"you have the right to speak your mind" except when it's your parents
parents are always better than you
that one small lecture about that one small thing turns into one long lecture (five or ten lectures merged into one) about everything else that came up and I swear they just want to keep going
"her hair was as curly as a Black person" derogatory
"I don't want to wear that, it makes me look gay"
everything you do is wrong
"women aren't supposed to have hairy legs, it's dirty, you're wrong"
good gods they can't understand tone
I be telling them there is another hole in my room in a straight voice and they yell why are you complaining it's going to happen deal with it
your mom doesn't know how to read English, can't be bothered to slow down and read English labels properly so she calls you about the wrong product/names
you're not allowed any joy in peace
ok I'll stop
#as you can see#I strongly resent my parents#children of immigrant parents#can relate#rcta#ecta#you want to be Asians so bad then buckle up#aapi#stop aapi hate#your parents will never love you#sti speaks

okay its been forever since ive really posted anything (big life things! mental health stuff! etc!) but i just finished watching rymans club and wow i just need to sit and talk a little about it.
uhm its like... not the usual sports anime i guess? i only watched it bc i just wanted something really short and easy to watch and i used to play badminton, plus ive had this on my watch list since it came out hahaha. also... ngl i have never seen it being talked about anywhere.
tbh i really enjoyed it! hahaha but as a sports anime, i guess its not that spectacular? i do think theres a lot about this show i really liked tho. most sports anime are about highschoolers, and sports is really all they have their eyes on. its their whole life and dreams. meanwhile id say that for rymans club, where all the characters in this show are older and mostly have office jobs along with being in a badminton team... and the main cast take pride in being both on the badminton team /and/ in their sales team (they also come up with a new popular drink for their company during the show haha).
i thought i could guess the main themes from the start bc well.. ive played badminton and sports anime can be a little predictable, like value of teamwork and getting over trauma from previous tournaments and stuff. but i wasnt really expecting anything like valuing the work you do outside of sports (being a "badryman" aka badminton + salaryman LOL), or doing something more suitable for you (one guy gave it his all and still lost a game, and he realizes that he would enjoy becoming the team coach instead), or family responsibilities vs personal goals (one guy is a dad! he says he doesnt regret quitting badminton like a decade ago after marrying his wife and taking care of his son, but he realizes hes allowed to pursue his goals as well with his family supporting him), or even taking care and not pushing yourself (one guy is not that young anymore and has an injured knee). obviously, winning these badminton games mean a lot to them all, but like... for maybe a third of the show, these guys were also just in suits and doing their sales job in their office, which i found really nice?
also im fond of souta hahaha... probably bc hes an older brother, and hes generally not that energetic and doesnt really put his all into badminton. at one point he was like "do i even like playing badminton..?" which was honestly relatable... ahh. i think in a typical sports anime, such characters will somehow find it in them to enjoy the sports they play and give it their all. but this guy only really tried harder when his partner (his younger brother) was running out of energy and souta thinks that he must do his best to support his brother and win the game together. his younger brother really looks up to him, but he himself doesnt feel that confident in his abilities.
it was also pretty cute that tatsuru inspired mikoto to play badminton when mikoto was just a little kid? and then mikoto inspiring another random kid as well. like!!! yeah!!! as adults, be kind to kids and inspire them!!!
(btw i just adore tatsuru, like hes just such a dude.. i love characters like him LOL)
it was just a short 12 episode show, so we didnt get that much into each character background, and each character arc was pretty fast, as well as the games they played too hahaha but thats understandable.
anyway i have things i have to do... ahh i should end this here. yeah... rymans club... i miss playing badminton hahaha
