"Yeah, I'm a bit disappointed... The start was very tricky with the medium - we lost a bit of places. But then, we had to be patient, we went a bit longer, it started to pay off, and then there was a safety car which kind of re-zeroed everything... It's a shame that we lose out on the podium, but this was the best we could do today... A baby step [forward], but we need many baby steps (to get to) where we want... This is not the best track to extract the maximum out of this upgrade, and I'm sure that next week we should be extracting a little bit more..."

lewis should not be out here apologizing for jack shit, esp not for making up 4 positions in a race his teammate lost 2 in. for fuck's sake it's been four races. fuck every single person bitching that he isn't instantly dominating, fuck everyone saying he shouldn't have left merc (the team that destroyed his confidence this bad to begin with) and fuck everyone calling him washed, a flop, whatever the fuck else. a bad quali isn't the end of the world but some of you are literally so fucking quick with the smugness and glee and the fake-ass dismay. when lewis said "there is no external pressure on me to do well" he did NOT mean it as a challenge for you miserable fucks. he's the goddamn GOAT, he has not a single fucking thing to prove to anyone. he could have a winless time at ferrari and he would STILL not need to prove a thing to anyone, but i fucking know that won't happen because i have faith in my driver. silverstone and spa were last year. vegas and abu dhabi were a few months ago. china was literally a couple of weeks ago. fuck everyone who thinks he can't drive and he made a mistake coming to ferrari, and fuck everyone who's leaving fuckass comments on his and ferrari's social media. goes double for people claiming to be his "fans" btw.

Be not afraid!

So a week ago, I sprained my ankle and couldn't walk for 3 days. I'm used to hiking at least an hour a day with my huskies so not being able to walk at all was driving me crazy. And in my jittery sedimentary state, I kept getting visions of this blursed being: a biblically accurate axolotl. There was nothing I could do but draw it. I'm all better now and able to walk again, now back to making less cursed art (maybe)
