I enjoy that he is very flawed and volatile.#This episode of the audio drama has a lot of great breakdown scenes featuring JC - and they all deserve a feature.#But underlying this comic is a small meta comment of 'ah man I have too many comics of JC just wailing sadly'#My goal is to draw 6-8 comics per episode - I sometimes have to truncate and cut good scenes out.#Especially when a large majority is just different flavours of trauma and toxic relationships to your self-worth.#I would also like to make a note here that just because you lose the ability to do something that is very tied to your core identity-#-does not mean your life is over. It will feel like the end of the world. It will send you into a spiral of grief. It will hurt so badly.#Sometimes we do not realize how tied up our identities can be in certain things until we are cut loose.#You don't lose yourself. I promise the pain will fade in time. Okay I need a billford fic where Bill's therapy includes having to make amends to Ford, thus Ford is brought to the Theraprism. It's going extremely badly in the beginning, neither Bill nor Ford wants to cooperate, Bill doesn't think that he did anything wrong, Ford just wants to go home, et cetera. Eventually, after several sessions spanning several months they start to bond, open up to each other, and Bill allows himself to be vulnerable for the first time in like forever, he even ends up apologizing to Ford in tears, only for Ford to dissipate at the end of one of Bill's sessions. Then a bunch of therapists walk in with wide smiles, clapping and congratulating Bill for making such progress thanks to the Theraprism's new hologram project.

Bill just stays on the ground staring at the white tiled floor of his room where he saw "Ford" disappear.

obsessed with baby queer buck and the hang-ups he probably doesn't even realize he has, let alone acknowledge.. newly realized bisexual evan buckley who didn't stop once to consider long-term commitment to a man he dated for 6 months as a viable option until josh spelled it out for him. and we've seen buck navigate romantic relationships before. he didn't do things by half-measure or shy away from grandiose declarations with abby or taylor. he knew he loved them without the need for an outsider's perspective. i don't think the cautiousness displayed in 806 was linked to tommy as an individual/lover so much as it was about building a life with a man — still a foreign concept, still a bit alien. not something buck could really envision for himself and by himself, unprompted (just like he remained unaware of his attraction to men until he was made to confront it with a kiss). that moment of hesitation wasn't because he was unattached to tommy or their relationship, quite the opposite according to the follow-up questions: if buck wasn't in love already, he was at least willing to be. yeah, he needed a little nudge from josh to reassess his feelings, to jump over that last barrier, but the very moment things clicked in his mind, buck was ready to cement their relationship, ready to wholeheartedly pursue a future with tommy, serious enough that he brought up the possibility of marriage someday (another first! not just first potential husband, but first potential spouse ever!!) — because buck doesn't see much value in waiting once he figures out what he wants.

no but it’s so sad how lu guang used to think that even the smallest alteration from the events of original narrative could change everything beyond repair but now he sees time as something almighty, something he’s unable to fight against. i wonder what he could’ve tried to do that lead him to thinking that time is THAT powerful. and how devastating it is to understand that you’re absolutely helpless, that nothing you do means anything, again and again it’s all the same, from “hey newcomer, wanna play basketball with us?” to “save them, lu guang” but he can’t. cheng xiaoshi passes the ball and whatever lu guang does he is destined to miss this time. cheng xiaoshi passes the ball and lu guang only worsens the situation. and still he keeps on trying. because cheng xiaoshi put his trust into him.
