I've seen other posts about Katniss being possibly demisexual. And I agree with this for the most part.

I was rereading the beginning and the Reaping scenes. And there is a part where she mentions Gale's "hard" muscles. I was like, "lol you are almost there, girl." Other characters, like Fulvia, talk about how handsome Gale is out of the gate, but it takes Katniss years of hunting with him to be like, "Hmm. He's got muscles."

And then starts another emotional connection with Peeta, and starts feeling like she might want "another" kiss. And she wants to hold his hand and stuff.

So then Gale kisses her when she gets back and she's like "Ack! Panic! What is?!?" Because I think at that point she is kind of frozen in place and not willing or able to move toward romantic or sexual attraction until she has dealt with the trauma of the Hunger Games.

The fact that she writes that speech in her head that she just wants to be friends with Gale makes me think on some level she knows she feels more for Peeta.

But then the dumb President shows up like the biggest gd cockblock and she suddenly doesn't want Peeta just to spite Snow. (No wonder Gale is confused about how to get her attention. He thinks it was because he got whipped but it's really just that he represents fighting back against the regime in her mind.)

Ugh. I really do wish we got more of her sexuality actually developing though because I think it'd be so awkward and fun for me. She's going to start looking at Peeta's muscles, except her her go to move when embarassed is run and hide. And poor Peeta is confused about what is real and now Katniss is running into the woods because he took his shirt off.
