Here's the actual map I made to figure out where the crew could realistically go each day!

The longest drives were to Acadia (3 -> 4) and to the Badlands (15 -> 16). Also I messed up on Day 21 by saying the dino park was in Colorado. It is, in fact, very much in Utah. Oops.

I also missed out on a lot of cool National Parks, but maybe that's a trip for another time..
