not sure what exactly, but it pulls her attention like no other. feeling the distress that is coarsing through neart & gaze is ripped from the venin and wyvern still left in the air : watching the familiar red dragon falling towards the ground at high speed. dread forming while watching it like a slow motion movie, not really able to do anything else. watch it happen. that's all she can do. happen too slow and too fast at the same time. feet on the ground and she is running towards him, something squeeze uncomfortable around her heart while watching him propped up against deigh. comes to a stop, just a few feet away and while he looks fine . . . he doesn't look fine. pale and while there is no visible wounds, he looks like he is in pain. panic bubble up in her throat, making it a little harder to breath. a little harder to think. ❝ liam. ❞ a soft murmur as she close the distance, falling to her knees by his side, grasping onto one of his hands.

They need to hide, hide, hide away into safety- hide until that monstrous thing is gone and Nezuko can come out again; until Nezuko can be safe again.

The fire gets hotter- uncomfortably so, but not enough to hurt- and the demon screams, nails starting to frantically scrabble at the dirt and Cang’s face.

It’s dark out, yet multiple people are outside; hustling and bustling in this crowded town, just trying to do what they got to do.

Car horns honk, people yell at each other, and food sizzles on the stoves of restaurants.

It’s fairly busy in the city; just as it always is.

Yet, there’s one person in the crowd; one person who seems slow in comparison to everyone else.

They walk along the street, swaying side to side as their head swivels around, mouth slightly open. The upper half of their face isn’t viewable because of a simple, straw hat covering it, obscuring the look of her eyes.
