- Remember how she was panicking in episode 5 when extermination day was about a month away and stayed up all night?

- Yeah, she did something similar to that when it came to asking you out lmao

- She also ended up enlisting the help of Vaggie (Angel Dust joined in because he was getting a little aggravated with how much you two danced around with each other 😭)

- Vaggie and Angel both gave Charlie a very.. straight forward approach to confessing which she knew wouldn't work out in her or your favors, but kept their advice in mind

- The best helper of them all would be Husk (who else) who told her to just be as sweet as possible and to be both straightforward (like Vaggie and Angel said) but not enough to scare you

- She took his advice with great confidence, and finally did it.

- She's asking you out!

- She grabbed a plush of your favorite animal, and a singular flower, a Lilly of the Valley

- Why that one? Because it means hope. Hope that you return her feelings, hope that all goes right with your possible relationship, and hope that you both survive the upcoming extermination.

- With all of that in mind, she gives the items to you, her hands shaking, eyes shut, and the most furious blush upon her red spotted cheeks

- She explains when, how, and what caused her to fall for you, and why she's giving you this flower

- When she finally looks at you, the last thing she's expecting is to see tears brim your eyes, the slight shake in your body as you hold the stuffed animal and flower close to your body

- She nearly has a panic attack! She starts stumbling over her words, begging for you to not hate her, asking if you both could still be friends, not stopping her words until you suddenly lean forwards and hug her, tightly

- You silently whisper in her ear that you like her too, but haven't been in a relationship before, not that she didn't know that already. But you wanted to wait until after the extermination to really give it a try

- As saddened as she was hearing you wanted to wait after the extermination, where anything could happen, she would wait as long as you wanted her to

Vaggie

- Normally I wouldn't decide what the readers background is, but for Vaggie you both were great friends in heaven, you just not being an exterminator

- Instead, you decided to fall from grace as soon as you heard the reason why Vaggie never came back from that extermination..

- No one up in heaven had known what you were planning until it was already done

- Vaggie only knew what you did till she discovered you one day while out and about with Charlie, casually hanging out and discussing how to promote the hotel more

- She obviously asked what happened, and she fell for you once you explain your reasoning

- The many thoughts of how she would confess to you would run through her mind as you did something she found so cute subconsciously

- She was already friends with you in heaven, and knew your mannerisms like the back of her hand

- And the only thing she could think of was the classic "I like you, and want to take you on a date. [Yes] [No]"

- Why? Because it's simple, straight to the point, but also giving you space to decide what you want to do without the pressure of her being there

- She slips it under your bedroom door, knocks, then silently runs away

- She had to do something, ANYTHING to get her mind off of your response so she spent several hours working with Charlie discussing trust exercises

- It was the end of the day when she finally returned to her bedroom, she remembered the note as it sat on her bed, crisply folded. Just how she gave it to you

- That made her a little.. nervous, but she opened it..

- "I like you, and want to take you on a date. [Yes] [No]"

- Holy shit.. YOU SAID YES-

- Ahem, you said yes, and now she is taking you on a date. Where's Charlie-

- She needs to tell her bestest friend that she's going on a date with the most beautiful creature in all of hell

Velvette

- She uh

- She's something ngl

- Velvette is very straightforward and brash person

- And we could tell that with the overlord meeting

- Let's say you work for her as an assistant or scheduler

- So you're always by her side, which means you spend a decent time around the other V's

- And as much as she enjoys the chaos those two bring, she gets fed up with it. ESPECIALLY Val's temper tantrums

- His tantrums include bursting into her workshop, ripping apart her models, her clothes, and just wrecking everything he declares in his way

- Unfortunately, you ended up being caught up in his tantrum. Good news, you didn't die. Bad news, your limbs were.. broken. Just a couple though, like an arm, several ribs, nose, all that jazz

- Velvette happened to hear the commotion and walked in, and saw him looming over you

- She felt her body freeze from your current state, how battered and bruised you were, your arm bending in an impossible direction, your labored breathing as you just clenched your eyes and accepted the fate Val was planning on handing to you..

- That is until Velvette fucking EXPLODES on Val, threatening to chop off his 🍆 if he didn't leave and calm tf down before she made him

- Everyone feels a chill run down their spine as she lets out more curses towards Val as she stomped towards you, demanding someone call a doctor (if they even have those in hell) and to fix everything or so help them-

- ..let's just say Val is more careful with his tantrums and everyone realized that Velvette is the scariest V when angry

- When you were finally bandaged up and resting in a bed she calmed down and really took a deep breath, and came to a realization

- She had never been that pissed that Valentino had nearly mutilated one of her employees.. what made you so different.?

- Then it hit her like a truck

- She liked you, and she didn't realize it until she almost lost you

- All of the times you did something so small for her, but it made a big difference to her was all she needed to know that you were meant for her, and that hopefully she was meant for you..

- The second you wake up you see Velvette, who lets out a sigh and gives you the softest look you have ever seen on her since you began working for the V's

- She slowly reached her hand forwards, cupped your cheek, and whispered how sorry she was for not being there to protect you

- Your cheek warmed up in her hand, not expecting the vulnerability she showed you, not to mention the worry and sorrow that covered her face

- Gently leaning into her touch, you tell her it's okay, and that you would be fine. You always were, weren't you?

- Chuckling, she shifts her face from sadness to a look of endearment. She had to confess now, otherwise she may lose her chance again

- Sighing softly, Velvette whispered her confession, of how much she adores you, appreciates your patience with her, how strong you were when it came to Valentino's rampage, and just you as a whole

- Velvette closed her eyes, halfway expecting rejection, but only opens her eyes again when she feels something wet run down her hand, the hand still on your cheek that's now very, very warm

- As she opens her eyes, she's met with a teary eyed you, cheeks ablaze with a blush so fierce

- You muttered something so softly she almost didn't catch it, almost. "I-I.. feel the same way, Velvette.."

Niffty

- This woman doesn't like you

- Let's get that out of the way 😭

- She's into bad boys (like Val and Alastor)

- The reader being shy doesn't scream "bad boy" to her whatsoever

Carmilla

- She's very reserved about her feelings

- And she kinda has to be, especially when it comes to keeping her daughters safe

- But now.. she has to keep you safe too

- She had added you to her little crew a couple of exterminations ago after her daughters had discovered you running away from an exorcist, managing to fend it off long enough to help you get away

- And as an expression of your gratitude for what Carmilla's daughters did, you made a contract with Carmilla, pledging to try and protect her and her daughters to the best of your ability to repay their kindness for a random sinner

- Carmilla didn't even think much of you at first, and almost refused your offer, but didn't see the harm

- She doesn't regret it, if anything, she's very happy she did however

- You kept your word and did more than she ever expected you to do

- You always accompanied her daughters to shipments, and even had to step in a couple of times because someone got a bright idea

- You may've been shy, but you owed them your life, and you planned on never letting them come to harm under your watch

- Carmilla appreciated it, greatly. Her girls have showed how much they've cared about you. Almost treating you like their second parent alongside her

- She didn't realize it, but you were growing on her too, just not in the same way as her daughters.

- She.. fell in love with you.. in hell of all places

- Strange, but not completely taboo

- She just wasn't expecting it to happen to her, and with you

- She wasn't quite sure how to go about it, knowing your surprisingly shy nature (despite how fierce you can be when it comes to her daughters)

- But she figures it out

- Her plan being that she will invite you to a "meeting" in a very nice restaurant

- She dresses up even, with her daughters assistance who are very much on board with you hopefully being their 2nd parent, and gets a private room for the both of you

- In that private room, as you both eat your meals, she confesses

- She tells you how much she appreciates you, and how you protect her daughters with your life, how sweet you are, how loyal, how brave you are

- She tells you that and more, including how and why she fell for you, hoping silently that you felt the same so this dinner didn't become incredibly awkward

- She looks everywhere but at you as she tells you these things, too nervous to look you in the eyes, but when she finishes and she's left in silence she finally does

- And all she can see is how flushed your face became, how you're looking down at your lap with the dopiest grin stretching across your face

- Then you mumble something, she doesn't hear it the first time so she leans in, silently asking for you to say it again

- "I-I.. I fell for you t-too, Carmilla.."

- Her heart does a flip, several, actually

- Her face flushes slightly, her larger hand reaching across the table to lift your face up, softly stroking your cheek

- "Words could never express how happy that makes me, mi amor.."

All the morale boosting posts have got me thinking what if Gale and Bucky had been dancing around each other in the flirting phase and had only kissed a few times (very soft and shy) before Gale went down, so their relationship was in the very early stage (but they both have loved the each other since Texas but haven’t admitted it yet) and the stalag isn’t exactly a romantic paradise

so there’s not much development and all they work up to doing is chaste stolen kisses in the dark of their shared bunk and occasionally prolonged hugs but as Bucky’s mental health starts to slip Gale get desperate and will go to any length to try and drag him back from that lines

Gale then starts trying to distract Bucky and this quickly morphs into clumsy attempts at seduction because there no alcohol or baseball and Bucky is known for his conquests, but Gale has very little experience and is terribly embarrassed and vulnerable when Bucky doesn’t seem to be picking up what he’s putting out

So he get blatant and tries to entice Bucky being touchy and slipping hands under his shirt at night, shedding layers in the yard making, trying to flex and show off the little muscle he has left

and eventually he just starts throwing himself at John and culminates in him trying to give him a blowie in the showers one afternoon which he gets about half way through before John stops him and Gale could just die of shame because the take home he concludes is that Bucky isn’t attracted to him he apparently sucks at sex

The real reason John stopped him was he was about to cum in his mouth and he knows Gale is inexperienced and doesn’t want to overwhelm him or disrespect him (even though he wanted nothing more than to cum on that beautiful face)

After that fiasco Gale gives up and can’t seem to look John in the eye and the vibes are RANCID for days until Benny finds Gale alone on the verge of tears in the library and immediately sends Brady to smack some sense into Egan who has been moaning to Brady for weeks now about how he’s struggling to keep his hands off of Gale because he isn’t sure Gale even wants him anymore with how much the captivity has affected him

Anyway then they have freak stalag sex and Brady rolls his eyes so hard Benny thinks they’re going to fall out of his head

Awww what an idea!

I’m imagining that scene in the library where Gale is talking to Alex and he props a foot up on a chair and rests his elbow on his knee while essentially flirting… but directed at John, and his foot slips off and he nearly falls 🤣 Like, I’m imagining the clumsiest most awkward flirting known to man🙌 Gale’s trying his hardest and the thing is… it may be awkward and embarrassing but John is down bad for it 😄

Then Gale finally just going for it blatantly and the misunderstanding of John stopping it to treat him right but Gale thinks it means he doesn’t want him??? Very in character type of miscommunication and I love it 🥰

The outside intervention from Brenny because they are over being ill from the rancid vibes being pumped out by these two pining idiots 🙌

I can see them being horrendously loud and unsubtle when they finally do fuck nasty that first time (and probably every time after) so I can clearly picture whoever’s on duty guarding the barracks that day stumbling over trying to explain away the noises to someone not from their group and just nervously saying it’s a secret fight club except then the dude wants to join so they have to start a whole ass secret fight club… the things they do for their majors 🤣

“Percy!” Annabeth called.

She’d retreated to the edge of the cliff, even though the poison wasn’t after her. She sounded terrified. It took Percy a moment to realize she was terrified of him.

“Stop…” she pleaded, her voice hoarse.

Both Tom and Z said they would retire when they had kids. I understand and respect, but I feel there are so many roles for them to embrace.

Awww Anon, don't worry! 🥰 Retiring doesn't always mean FOREVER.

They might just want to spend time raising their kids for a while without having the pressure of trying to work or be away for long periods of time.

Tom has always talked about how he was so happy that his dad always made time for him and his brothers growing up. It sounds like Dom was a very hands on type of dad, and I'm sure Tom appreciated that, and wants to similarly be there for his own future kids.

Not everyone can afford that, but Tom and Z are millionaires, so they can afford to not work and to take months or even years off in order to raise kids. MOST of us can't do that lol. 😆

Tom says a lot lol, and I've just learned to just take what Tom says with a grain of salt, because the Gemini in him might change his mind or feel differently months or even years from now lol. 😅

I think fans take whatever Tom says so seriously, but a lot of times he's just talking and thinking loud. 😄 He might very well feel 100% that way in the moment, but we don't know how he will feel later on. He can change his mind, or find another way of looking at things.

Don't take what Tom says TOO seriously guys lol. 😄 We've seen him change his mind or say things that he has not necessarily meant with die-hard firmness.

Let's just wait and see what actually happens.

I have plenty of Gemini friends, and I've learned to just smile and nod at what they say, cuz they will change their minds in a heartbeat rofl 🤣 😂

hot take, Brian is 100% the type that knows damn well he has power over people because of dat southern accent, so he uses it to get his way constantly. he LOVES flustering Tim and/or Jark by sweet-talking them, calling them pet names like darlin' or sugar bum (a term in which Brian Haight jestingly called Tim Sutton during one of Tim's MH Watch-A-Long streams back in 2020) and complimenting them to the point that they just turn to putty in his hands lmao. i can see Tim or Jark having a bad dysphoria day, when here comes Brian crooning that they're the most handsome man/most beautiful woman in the whole world, and Tim or Jark just get almost high from the love.

MOST IMPORTANTLY TO ME, though, is thinkin about Brian sweet-talking to the kids as well - NOT THE SAME WAY HE DOES TO HIS PARTNERS OBVIOUSLY, but i love the idea of him saying something like 'hey, pretty girl' to Birdie in the mornings when she gets out of bed, or him calling Jesse 'my sweet li'l man' (i know there's a stigma with the term li'l man but damn it it's sweet to me so fuck it). and the kids get all giggly and shy because it makes them feel so loved and special aaaa

don't get me wrong, Jark and Tim are loving and sweet to the kids and are both mushy-gushy as well, but in my mind's eye, Brian is just the KING of soppyness. he is the one that's always on the hunt to find opportunities to give them kisses and cuddles, or even just hold their hand. i know you've mentioned he's the stern parent between himself and Tim, the one that lays down the boundaries and upholds them, but at the end of the day they're still his babies, so you best bet that the kiddos will still come to him for cuddles on the couch before bed <3

I don't know what it is about Brian, maybe it's something to do with the fact that Hoodie never speaks out loud, but I love the idea of him being a sweet talker, having a silver tongue, having a voice people absolutely fawn over.

He definitely uses it against his partners, whether that's to fluster them and see them go red in the cheeks or to get something he wants. He never hesitates to whip out that pretty accent and a smattering of petnames and terms of endearment because it always works like a charm. I think his favourite thing to do is throughout a day just keep making the petnames he's using more and more ridiculous but always using the same exact tone, so he'll go from 'baby' to 'sugar bum' to 'schnookum wookums' to whatever the fuck else he can come up with. He likes to see them almost go to be all "awww 🤭" before they catch onto what he actually said and go through all five stages of grief before threatening to divorce him.

He'd definitely use it to help on dysphoria days too. Idk something about him putting on a bit of a thicker southern accent to compliment them how they need it just makes them feel even more at home in their skin and like they're being perceived how they want to be than the same compliments in any other accent. He comes up with the best compliments too, like ones that are so weirdly specific they make Tim/Jark laugh while also settling nicely into their brains like "the way I nod my head along to music is so feminine? 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰" Or "my thumbnails are a really masculine shape? 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰" And the thing is is that when they've tried to figure out if Brian's just saying shit, they always find out he's not. He has the perfect, personalised explanation all ready for them like he's been thinking about it for weeks.

And with Birdie?? Yea :}

That girl grows up knowing she's the smartest, prettiest, more interesting and brave and amazing kid in the world. Brian makes it a point to compliment something interesting or special about her/that she's done every single day and Tim and Jark pick it up too after not long. Brian leaves little notes in her lunch box, under her pillow, in her clothes pockets, under her toys and games, for her to find. He's also an absolute fucking menace because he and Birdie will gang up on the other two, and Birdie will whisper in his ear what she wants, and he'll use his best puppydog eyes and prettiest of pleases to get her what she wants. If Jark and Tim are managing to hold their ground (not on big things, but "five more minutes?" And "can I have one more spoon of ice-cream?" Stuff like that that Brian knows Tim and Jark don't actually mind about)

And once Jesse's in the mix? Yeah Tim and Jark stand no fuckin chance. If they wanna stop the kids getting their way they'll have to find a way to take Brian out. Jesse mimics Brian too, especially when he's learning to speak. So you have Brian already being insanely sweet in that pretty voice of his, then a tiny little baby trying to do the same. It's the cutest fucking thing and Tim and Jark die every fucking time, because baby babble with a little bit of a southern accent? Fucking adorable, literally the cutest thing in the world.

Also Brian reading the kids bedtime stories.

Tim stands leaning against the doorway while Brian has birdie in his lap and Jesse in her lap, all leaning precariously on each other while he tries not to drop his book and lose their page. Usually he has to read from kids encyclopaedias, because both those kids are autistic and love insects and lizards. (And also because when I was little my mum also had to read me encyclopaedias for my bedtime stories 💀)

Tim and Jark are so fucking baffled and in love. Like "look at our weird fucking kids 🥹 they're so strange and we love them so much."

Also there's stigma around lil man?? It's such a cute name for a kid cos like, look, over there, that really is a little man, a little lady. Especially with the way kids like to pretend to be all big and grown us and serious sometimes. Like yeah, that's a little man right there dressing up in his dad's clothes and constantly walking out of shoes that are a million sizes too big for him, a right little gentleman look at him go

"So, I have to ask..."

Echo's voice perks up your ears, as sits beside you. His glass is in his hands but he hasn't taken a sip yet, at least that you've noticed.

79's is relatively barren tonight, at least by the normal standards; Though it's still quite loud and packed with enough clones that traversal through the bar is for sure going to end up with you bumping into a few shoulders.

"Did you show Tech some new book or something?" He's not here tonight, having neglected coming out for drinks because of some important worked he wanted to finish, and had insisted you all go on without him. it's not incredibly unusual; This sort of scene isn't his type.

You think on Echo's question for a moment, pursing your lips as you look off in no particular direction trying to recall. Once you do, it's such a brief moment that you don't really think that it would be anything of note.

"Um, I mean I mentioned something not too long ago?" Echo leans back against the seat, an arm over the back behind your head.

"Ok, because he's not shut up about whatever it was for at least a week now. He's been researching it nonstop." That sentence makes you surprised, but also it's impossible to contain a smile at the thought of him doing something like that when you aren't around. It's, endearing. Not too often do you find someone who enjoys you enough that they try to enjoy the things you do. You love watching Tech tinker, to sometimes catch his tongue just barely poking out between his lips, but it makes your heart flutter a bit to know this new tidbit of info.

"Really? I didn't know he cared that much." Crosshair makes an amused noise.

"Cares? He's obsessed." He gets an odd look from you back, and Hunter seeks to clarify what Crosshair won't.

"The two of you really get along well," He says, and you raise your eyebrows. He can't exactly find the best way to put this so for the sake of his brother and for your own sanity, he'll be blunt.

"Look, we don't wanna shove into your business or anything," Hunter rubs the back of his neck. "But Tech really likes you." It's feels more than a little bit intense being underneath the stare of four eyes, especially considering who they are.

"But he's not gonna say it unless you do first."

Were you really so obvious in your attraction that they were all able to notice? You had hoped you were being at least somewhat subtle.

No point in denying it, you guess. They already have it all figured out.

"So, you want me to just go for it then?" You smile and laugh, expecting it to be taken as a joke. But instead, Hunter nods and agrees with you.

"Go sweep him off his feet."

You're not drunk in the slightest; seeing the outline of the Marauder ahead of you as you walk forward towards it with purpose. It's just that your conversation with the rest of the 99's has pushed you over the edge.

You ended up leaving not long after you'd finished talking, deciding to take the opportunity of Tech being alone. It's not too often you have the chance to do so.

You'll just say how you feel, and damn the consequences. You can't stay in the limbo anymore.

But Tech is just, so hard to read.

You've gotten better at it over time, but sometimes you find yourself wondering. His brothers know him best, and hopefully their encouragement doesn't end with you making an ass of yourself.

You have the codes to unlock the Marauder, bringing down the gangplank so you can head inside. Once you do, it's only takes a quick look to the right to locate Tech, who's situated in the cockpit using Gonky as an extension to his current work table; Which is the control panel. He heard your entrance and looks over, perking up in casual surprise.

"Oh, I thought you all would be out for most of the evening." He says it with curiosity, not disappointment. You notice he's reading one of the books you'd mentioned awhile ago when you step closer, datapad sat aside whatever he's been tinkering with. He must be using it as background noise.

"Yeah, it got a little too rowdy for my liking." He's soldering two wires together, humming and adjusting his goggles with a wiggle of his nose. When he speaks he's still working, not looking as you watch over him from his side.

"I apologize for my brothers if they said or did anything particularly uncouth; Them and large amounts of alcohol are not often the best combination." Speaking from experience? You joke to only yourself. Smiling, you wave off his concerns.

"Nah, they were fine," Your sentence hangs for a bit, leaning to one side as your eyes flick over his hands and arms. "I, wanted to talk to you, actually." That admission gets Tech's interest, naturally.

Gonky takes up a good portion of the free space between the seats, so he ushers the droid away and gives you the room to sit down.

"To me?" He seems both surprised and curious, already trying to figure out what you'd possibly need to talk to him about. It could be any number of things, it's not as if the two of you have ever run out of things to talk about.

"Yeah, I," You lick your lips, finding the words and the confidence to just say them.

Gods he looks so cute right now... You think while seeing his dark brown eyes watch you from behind his goggles.

"Do you want to go out sometime? Just you and me?" He quickly counts his tools as he puts them away back in his storage box, glancing up at you.

"Do you need help with something? I see no need why to specify just you and me if you would just like to go and-"

You get out of your seat and kneel on the edge of Tech's, leaning inward and stealing a kiss from him. He certainly looks surprised the moment you pull away, but it seems to get the point across well enough.

"Oh," He says, adjusting his goggles from where you'd bumped them out of alignment. "You meant in that way." His eyes are wide, flicking around focus on a different part of your face as he thinks.

"I, failed to think this was a possible scenario." In any other situation you might've considered making a joke, but the tone would be ruined if you did so.

"Being a clone isn't a desirable trait apart from a few select scenarios, my brothers are quite overbearing, and the state of the war I-" He cuts himself off, brain thinking a mile a minute. "You really want me?"

You smile and nod, lips just barely dusting over his. You can still feel his breath on your face, before he decides to kiss you this time. His feels more assertive, as if he's quickly gaining the confidence in what he's figured out so far. His body rises from his aggressive slouch and his hands move up your thighs, from where they had laid politely on your knees.

"Do you want me to say?" You say, feeling his hands on your hips.

His brothers won't be back for most of the night anyways. He has plenty of time to figure things out and get all the answers he needs.

"Yes."
