Spent so much time making sushi for dinner and was so excited to have a funky little sushi roll and eat it like a burrito but then my nori ripped apart mid roll and I had to eat it as a salad and apparently my brain doesn’t like the texture of imitation crab + seaweed and rice rn :(

How to lose weight like Nikocado Avocado

• Make a plan and stick to it: Nicholas's plan was to make a big social experiment and to fool the internet. He posted old mukbang videos of himself while losing weight behind the scenes.

• Look for healthier food: Nikocado may ate unhealthy food with big portions, but he sure knew when to stop. A healthy food is good for your mind, body and soul. Make more homemade recipes instead of take away foods.

• Get your body moving: Nicholas sure knew how to move, and if he can do it, so can you! Make sure to walk every day for at least 15 minutes, or finish that daily workout. You have no excuses!

Simultaneously intensely missing and feeling incredibly proud of gf, who is currently on another continent for a couple of weeks giving a lecture at a conference and then volunteering on a farm.

About to go distract myself by making dye out of all the avocado pits she secretly saved for me for months so I could make a very beautiful deep pink :')

I have gotten more avocado seeds to germinate and i am super chuffed about it because now I get to have MY OWN avocado trees 😎

(They are not adapted to my climate which is really sad but it's fine, they can come indoors.)

Next move will probably be an acorn to oak since i have gotten an apple started (one of my goals since well before i went a lil crazy about plants)- and all my efforts at acorn anything have been failures (i am exceptionally bad at sticking to the task of acorn flour! I should really just do hot leeching and yet i have seen people say it tastes better if done via cold leeching!!)

if you think all avocados suck or have never had a good avocado i promise you that it is at least one of these problems:

you're eating an avocado grown out-of-season

you're eating an avocado grown in-season but it's imported from far away from you and the transportation process fucked with the texture and taste

you have not let it ripen enough

to fix this, look into which avocados are grown nearest to you, when those are in season (it varies more than you'd think!), and how to tell when an avocado is ripe.
