Hi hi hi! I am a different anon but I saw you two talking about headcanons and couldn't help!

I see a lot of myself in Haruka so that's why I think he has AVPD + DPD.

I may be just projecting but everything, from his low self-esteem to yearning to be used by someone who acknowledges his real existence (also this!! Having a true self considered not palatable for others), hints me he's also AVPD coded.

To be fair I see some AVPD traits in Muu too but this one is a little harder to explain (not erasing her NPD). For example, compared to Kotoko (NPD-coded too for me), there's just a... More elevated tendency to victimizing herself instead of reacting like we see in after pain. But again I might be just projecting again. Whoops, have both in my kinlist.

Hello different anon! I can certainly see a lot of AvDP traits in Haruka, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he has it! Less in the way that he distances himself in fear of rejection, but most of the other traits, esp the self-deprecating ones check out a lot.

I do see what you mean with Muu also having a few of these traits. When it comes to Kotoko I dow read her as APD moreso than NPD, but these also have a few overlapping traits after all.

There was a time in my life were I just couldn't answer any phone calls (unless it was from my mother's). Every time my phone rang I started to sweat cold, i thought at all the possibles bad scenarios, and I felt nauseous just thinking about talking. Now I'm really better at answering (at least, most of the times: it's still not easy, but i really do my very best), though i must know who's calling me. Bye-bye, unknown callers! Identity

I as a person with multiple mental illnesses identify with my labels. I am depressed, I am socially anxious, I avoid because of anxiety, I am traumatized because of my childhood and emotional abuse. Maybe because of all that, I know who I am. I know what I want in life and what I don’t want. Most importantly I know what I can handle in life. But lately I’m not that sure of my identity. The wounds that other people inflicted on me are so painful. It also makes me so insecure about myself. In these moments I struggle. I don’t trust my memory and my judgement. Am I at fault? Should I have done stuff differently? I’m so insecure and my self esteem is so low. So a lot of stuff has happened and now I have to heal. But it’s so damn hard and it makes me feel anxious. I’m comfortable in my own world, with my own pain, my self destruction. The wounds that other people inflicted on me are so heavy. But yeah I understand why certain things happened the way they did and I have to deal with that now. Otherwise I will be stuck forever. But who am I without the pain, anxiety, trauma and heartbreak? Will I ever be truly happy and free?

Im back after weeks of hiding away from the world. My disorders just consumed me for a while, and doing anything other than sit and watch youtube felt like such a chore.

I've slowly felt better, and the last few days i felt good enough to start going on social media again..

Other good things that has happened is that ive started on a course to learn sámi! When i had a really good day/beeing on a overly positively high (lol,) i decided that "yeah!! Id manage to go to this course alone!! With many other!".

Obviously i regretted that i signed up on it the day of, because of ~ANXIETY AND AVDP~ :-) But my boyfriend was being a good egg and forced me to go, which im glad he did since learning the language of my family/my mother has been something ive wanted to do since i was a child. (I was not allowed by my mother to learn it, because of "fornorskning".)

I was really anxious going there and the first few hours, then it calmed down to the general anxiety i just feel being outside of my home... The joy i feel being able to finally learn sámi really makes it easier to stay there.

I just hopes that i manage to remind myself of that, so that i can manage to fight the anxiety.

Im also going back to work tomorrow...which is not really something i feel ready to do, but my boss low key threatened me so i dont dare to keep being on medical leave. Other than that she seems understanding with the struggles i have, so i suppose thats nice....Even if it feels like was forced to explain why i was on medical leave (which shes legally not allowed to do.)

But oh well, i just hope i can mange going to work, because i dont really know what to do if i cant.

Vivid dreaming

When your dreams are so vivid that you actually confuse them with real life...

I mean this morning I woke up, dreaming about my ex girlfriend. That her relationship ended and that we started talking again. I saw her face and every detail was right, I believed it to be real.

Later this day I kind of woke up, I can’t explain. I realized I dreamed about her and now this evening I’m looking up her facebook account to check if there are indeed clues that she broke with her girlfriend. I swear that I came across her goodreads account earlier this week and she is reading a selfhelp book which could indicate that she was soul searching and I was like does she feel bad? Did she broke up or something? But I’m also not sure about that being real.

My god life is so confusing with seroquel and xanax. On a higher dosage my dreams get so hyper realistic. Frequently I’m out of touch with reality... Maybe it’s the huge amount of stress I’m under but sometimes life feels not that real to me and I start dissociating, feeling like nothing is real anymore. Having those damn dreams don’t help...

These dreams make me check for things in real life, very tiny details that are sometimes out of place. It could be real, it could be a dream. Sometimes they feel so real. I do actually check stuff that I dream with people. Just to be sure. Do more people have this? Is it just a side effect of the medication? Or is it the high level of anxiety?

I don’t talk about it with people so when I first read The Little Friend by Donna Tartt the part about Allison and her vivid dreaming and confusing them with reality the book struck a chord with me:
