One of my FAVORITE Rise fanfics on AO3 is this oneshot named Fireworks Night by @aliennopossumm

It has detailed descriptions of funky little outfits, sibling bonding, they are ALL autistic and all trans in one way or another. And Leo is very gay for his rabbit boyfriend. All I wanted in a cozy little fanfic about silly little turtles

Leo gets sensory overloads. His response to overstimulation pre movie leans towards hyperactivity. After the movie it shifts to more anxiety and panic attacks and shutdowns.

This whole comic is a combination of two separate pep talks I got early on from a friend and my sister telling me the same thing. For every artist, voice actor, cosplay creator, writer, and creator, do not undersell yourself. Your skills and time are worth getting paid for. And for every person looking to commission a creator, if their prices are too high or you can't afford their art, that's ok. But there are many reasons why they charge for their work. Like everyone else, we gotta make a living. These lil turtles are just the cutest and I adore their familial relationship in the series 💚 So it was great to get to draw Donnie helping Mikey with a power point presentation/pep talk.

Waiting to see a story just about Mikeys manipulating their Leos with Puppy Dog Eyes and all of the brothers trying their hardest not to bend to their will.

What if one night Leo is really anxious and upset and his mind just won’t let him calm down. He keeps hearing Krang 'you think you’ve won...' and 'Little PEST!' And the sound of the krangified train baring down on Mikey and Donnie. And Raph’s screams as he’s being turned into a Krang zombie. The sound of Raph's shell being pierced by the Krang killing him instantly (No shut up it didn't happen like that) All three of his brother’s hurtling to earth to their deaths (No! They're still alive). And the thoughts aren’t stopping. They just keep cycling around all jumbled up, his mind twisting things to the worst possible outcomes for each. Over and over. Every time one plays in his mind it feels like it’s just happened. Doing the katas are the only thing that are stopping him from getting swallowed completely in his thoughts. So he Keeps. Going. Until he’s shacking with effort and exhaustion. And he still keeps going because it the only thing stopping the thoughts from fully taking over. The one thing stopping the panic overwhelming him. He’s staggering his way through one kata when one of his brother’s finds him. And he still can’t stop. Even when he collapses into their arms, he's picking himself back up. To start over. To keep going…

(I like to think whoever finds him is eventually able to draw him out and ground him. And then give him some form of comfort while he calms down. And assure him that he is always welcome to go to one of them, no, if things get bad like that again he needs to find one of them. So it doesn't get this bad again. Anata wa hitori ja nai you are not alone.)

i don’t think sugar packets and glass animals are things these boys would canonically collect, i’m just projecting me and my friend’s weird collections onto them.
