literally just sitting here on my phone ready to leave if shit hits the fan surrounded on all sides by three different really bad and scary fires with smoke covering everything my eyes stinging and constant sounds of sirens from firetrucks, planes overhead watching the fires and helicopters going back and forth to collect water and then put the fires out. reminds me of late 2019 when shit was really bad before summer and i do not like the implications

Given the fact that we are only just in Spring now, its only 28°C and I walked outside and saw the smoke in the atmosphere I am really not looking forward when it hits summer. I have watched the rest of the fires devastate the rest of the world and I am really scared for this summer. Although there were only a few small fires or grass fires today, given all the La Niña’s and El Niño’s we have had, I am worried.

Correction!!! I kept calling the bird an Australian Hobby but it's meant to be a brown falcon. LORD I have no idea how I got the two mixed up since Australian hobby's don't use fire like the other three bird species do.

The season had been the driest of many generations. A brown falcon was reaching adulthood but needed to prove herself. she was to gather red flowers and a stick to wield fire. she was to spread the fire and provide prey for the birds of her homeland.

I recently found out about "Firehawks" three bird species that have been seen using fire to draw out prey. I really wanted to make a xenofiction on birds and so i'm focusing on Firehawks and cockatoos. I have quite a few ideas on what there cultures would be like and really want to draw them.
