Aaaaaahh I am once again thinking about the ending of ywam

It’s so freaking good, and I can’t thank you enough for this wonderful masterpiece of a story!! I love that things ended with so much room to still heal and nothing really felt forced (like the whole thing with Sheatiel’s wings, Uriel choosing to go back to Paradiso, Raphael being hesitant about Luci, etc etc). The characters still had a lot of things to work on and improve and get used to, which just made the ending feel more real. Like it could be an its own universe outside of its comic form because real life is like that too. It gives me all of the feels and sometimes I feel like I can’t express that outside of alakdhshakksdhshakskfhahskdgk [keysmash] lol.

(And also the fight scenes were cool. And the HUMOR (yes even the puns I loved those hehe).

Anyways, thank you again for creating one of my favorite stories ever of all time forever until the end of time endlessly forever ever. And good luck with the MRI stuff!! I hope that goes well /gen

ahhh thank you aurora! I'm glad you enjoyed the ending bc it's the type of endings I like too, where not every issue is 100% fixed and happy but the character(s) have progressed since the beginning.

Tiaras and Crowns Moment at the New Year's Eve Celebration

Last night, the Royal Family of Windemburg celebrated its traditional New Year's Eve banquet, an event full of elegance, glitter and majestic jewels, where not only members of the royalty were present, but also important leaders, politicians and renowned businessmen of the country.

Queen Isabella was, as usual, the centre of attention. Her Majesty wore the iconic Windemburg Red Flower Tiara. Accompanying this spectacular tiara, the Queen wore an elegant red dress with a large bow, which highlighted her stature and sophistication. At her side, Prince Consort Phillipe impressed with the famous Aurora Borealis Crown, known for its interchangeable rubies that shone with special intensity during the evening. Both radiated majesty and were, without a doubt, the most admired personalities of the evening.

For her part, the Queen Mother, always imposing, chose for the occasion the impressive Forest Emerald Tiara, a jewel with enormous emeralds that reflected her status and experience as a key member of the monarchy. Princess Francesca, the Queen's younger sister, also wore a dazzling tiara with floral motifs, known as the Dawn Lily Tiara.

Among the renowned guests were the Duke and Duchess of St. Sequoia. The Duke wore the St. Sequoia Crown, a piece of gold and pearls with more than a hundred years of history. The Duchess, for her part, surprised the public with a small pearl tiara never seen before, a rumor that quickly spread among the attendees indicates that this delicate piece was a personal gift from her husband on her last birthday,

The Duke and Duchess of St. Sequoia’s children also made an appearance alongside their parents. Prince Liam, newly active in his royal duties, and his younger brother Prince Uriel posed proudly at the entrance to the event, drawing admiring glances for their poise and presence.

The newlyweds, the Countess and the Earl of Simton, showed off their union with a photograph in which the Countess shined in the same tiara she wore on her wedding day, the Simton Tiara. Finally, Princess Victoria, mother of Countess Viviane, surprised with a silver dress that stood out for its sophistication.

December 15th-21st

The White Flame welcomed offerings as those loyal to Auril’s frigid blaze threw tokens into the brazier. Atop the tower constructed at the Lunar Mountains’ highest peak, the cold was nearly unbearable even for those who’d been born in the heart of winter’s embrace. Auril demanded pieces that held a personal connection for those who served her, some tossed in memories of loved ones, others laid favourite foods, but as her priesthood sang in unison their song was lifted by the formless archfey into the clouds above. 

Cold washed from the Moon Gate as it blanketed the Fey Forest in frost, chill, and snow. Over Lupercal a storm began as the budding city state was blanketed in the first hefty dumping of snow. Rome had been unseasonably cold, now with temperatures in record shattering negatives the city was hit with freezing rain. Auril’s laughter fell over the city as the first night brought with it a storm that forced the entirety of the city indoors. It was there as their homes were pelted through the night that the people of Rome huddled close to their fires; witches enchanted their hearths to keep them alive and protected, while others kept them stoked through the long nights that would follow. 

By the dawn of the 16th the rain had turned to snow, but for five more nights it would continue to fall. The storm had relented, but the snow was endless, it fell continuously as the city without the infrastructure to deal with it was slowly buried. The forest, Lupercal, and the countryside felt the brush of a full winter at last. 

December 17th-23rd

No amount of snow could keep the city from putting on their annual traditions, Saturnalia would begin on the 17th and would run until the 23rd. First the Holiday Market was erected within the ruins of the Temple to Saturn, a deity that was associated with Cronos was especially revered this year. It was the God of Time that had bartered with the lives of The Six in exchange for returning the world to this earlier time, to giving the mortal realm and Rome as a whole a second chance. 

All had a reason to be grateful and few to none were not in attendance at some point. 

The festivities began with offerings left at the altar erected to Saturn and Cronos, food was prepared personally by the senators as each placed a meal that was personal to them upon the table. From there, the festival was for all intents and purposes, a party. Stalls provided by every business in Rome, along with substances that were less-than legal permeated the catacombs below. An aura of peace and nonviolence was cast over the festivities and it was remarked that no declarations of war could be made during the festivities. 

On the 23rd day, to close the festival, the Romans would make an offering in blood. In an arena built for this exact purpose, the gladiators who would step inside would be temporarily stripped of any supernatural abilities. Representatives signed their name down for the privilege of spilling blood for the God, and the hope that they’d not only earn his favour, but that they would be crowned the Lord or Lady of Saturnalia for the year to come.

On the solstice the Lunar Court marked the anniversary of Aurora’s birth, 502 years old now, the chancellor made little fuss over the date. To her, what was far more important was the celebration and the significance that the winter solstice held; this was the coldest night of the year and the time when the cold was at its peak. Additionally, on this solstice they would host the wedding between Dareth-Shiral and Meryasek, a former elf of her court, and the king who’d stepped aside to join the chancellorship. 

Plans had been in the works for months, so on the 5th day of Saturnalia while the entire city was made to look on, the two were finally wed before the altar of the God of Time

December 25th

The first of an annual tradition, an all-out rager was held at Hakan's castle, the largest in Rome, it could fit the entire population and then some. The rave was held in honour of his departed progeny and not only was everyone invited, they were all but compelled to attend.

Upon entering every person received a pair of diamond fangs, which they would have to wear for the evening. DJ Xerxes was playing all the classics like: Jingle Deez Nutz, Knot the Herald an Angel Cumz, On Gawd These Merry Gentlemen (lip bite emoji), Ass Christmas, Why Does it have to be 'White' Christmas?, and the instant classic: Sally the Salamander.

At a throne at the head of the celebration sits Hakan in front of an immaculately decorated, and excessively massive Christmas Tree. Do not interact: ho ho ho :(

These markets are very popular worldwide and all very German-based, mulled wine, sit on a man's lap, booths with trinkets, food, etc.

It's so snowy, like wow there's snow everywhere. Can't use public transportation and can't drive welcome to hell. On the plus side the sledding is gonna be gr8.

Everyone has to go to Hakan's party. It's the largest party of the year and will continue to be every year. Think Christmas EDM raving in a spooky castle, make an appearance, drink a holiday shot out of a test tube etc. It's a vamp party so the blood pool is back and there's probably an orgy or four somewhere.

Facts About The Aether

This is sort of my own spin on the Aether so that it’s not too similar to the mod. This will be updated if I need to.

- The Aether, like the Nether and the End, is its own unique realm. While the Nether is dangerous and hellish and the End is dark and empty, the Aether is peaceful and full of light.

- In it, you’ll find lots of open space, water, wispy clouds, many passive mobs, and the Aetherians, which are humanoids that have elytra wings fused to their back and beetle-like antennae. Their wings are different from the elytra wings you get in the End because they’re capable of sustained flight, and they can take off without the need for fireworks.

- The Nether is implied to be underground, and the End is implied to be in the void. Likewise, the Aether is implied to be high above the clouds. As such, most Aetherians have dark skin so that they won’t be sunburned. They’re also usually chubby or muscular so as to resist the atmospheric pressure.

- Just like the Nether, there are biomes unique to the Aether, such as the mixed forest, a place with trees that have different colored leaves in the same area, the upwellings, rocky streams with water so rapid that it can splash you from afar, and the floating islands biome, islands in the sky connected by vines and logs.

- I haven’t decided what the portal to (my version of) the Aether is made of, but I imagine it’s made of something that’s seemingly useless, like copper or amethyst.

- The passive mobs in the Aether are almost always winged.

- I imagine that in the Minecraft: Story Mode world, allays can only be found in the Aether. Allays bring Aetherians something in their hours of need if they give them something, or if they hear music playing.

- There are a lot more caves with drip leaves, spore blossoms and all that stuff.

- The Aether is led by a trio of rulers named Lucius, Uriel and Chandler. They each wear dazzling crowns and pure, silky white garments.

- They live in the Aether Palace, which is their equivalent of a Nether fortress or a bastion remnant.

- The leaders have six ladies-in-waiting: Skyla, Celeste, Rey, Marisol, Juniper and Aurora. Each of them can be seen dressed in a gown of a different color.

- They are served by many palace residents divided into “servant blocks.” Their clothes are decorated with little white dots resembling stars.

- Marisol discovered a functional portal frame while traveling outside the palace one day and ended up in Jesse’s world. She started collecting food items and sharing them with her friends. Now, she has a whole collection of flowers and other things. Every so often, she heads through that portal to add more to it.

- Sometimes, she and the other ladies change out of their gowns to go for a fly together.

- Not many people in the Aether are aware that Vega, who works as a servant, is plotting something sinister whenever she’s off-duty…

Diego Almagro Jr (Technically canon, but only shows up like once in a side material, and might have been mentioned in main canon, so I have to build him from basically nothing.) Uriel Walker Amparo (My beautiful son who causes nothing but chaos. Debuts in Repentance. Basically the entire story revolves around him.) Aurora Pascal aka Tia (Uriel's secondary caretaker, sister of Claude. Debuts in Repentance.) Claudette Pascal aka Claude aka Cherub (Lt of the Shikar in Repentance, debuts in Placeholder as an informant for the Ghosts. Also appears in Christmas/Yule fic I wrote as "Santa Claude") Alvera Hart aka Vera aka Heart (Debuts in Placeholder, also appears in Repentance. Big sister to all. Very much in love with Sarah. "Lets go lesbians!") Sarah Hart aka Sweetie (Debuts in Placeholder. Also appears in Repentance. Married to Vera in both. Hence the last name.) Studio 100 Doornroosje (Sleeping Beauty) musical Good Omens AU:

Aziraphale is trans and Doornroosje/Aurora Crowley is Johnathan the Gardener The three fairies (of the light) are Michael, Uriel, and Gabriel The fairy (of the night) is Beelzebub (representing the Dark Lord or something idk) The rest is the same, including the Prince Maurice, because I think it's funny lol

So, everything is basically the same: We start with the fairies of the light giving their gifts (Meet true love at age 10, marry him at age 18), and then Beelzebub enters and curses Aziraphale to die at age 18 through pricking on a spinning wheel. I like to think Gabriel hasn't given his gift yet, and so changes his wish to be that everyone falls asleep for a 100 years, and Aziraphale will be kissed awake by his true love. At AZ's birthday, his parents introduce him to Prince Maurice, who is a dick and kills a nightingale. Crowley finds him and offers to bury the bird in the flowers. They aren't allowed to become friends, but do so anyway. Over time, they fall in love. Crowley tells Aziraphale that he sometimes feels more like a girl (genderfluid Crowley ftw), and Aziraphale tells him that he feels more like a boy (trans Aziraphale ftw). They're also both ace, and Crowley is touch- and kiss-averse. Before his 18th birthday, his dad has all spinning wheels destroyed. On his birthday he's supposed to marry Maurice, but Beelzebub enters once more and gives him a tiny spinning wheel as a present. Cue the 100 year sleep. Maurice tries to kiss him awake but is unable to. Crowley enters, has to fight a dragon (I'm unsure if I want Crowley to be able to turn into a snake but it would make for a fun fight). She kisses Aziraphale, very softly, chasely. Aziraphale wakes up, comes out as trans - he doesn't need to marry Maurice for the alliances anymore, and marries Crowley.
