Vintage Pride Shirts - Pride 2023

This year for pride I’m taking inspiration from the pride protests and figures of history. This set includes 18 unisex t-shirts all made from real designs from the 70s-90s.

CREDIT: These shirts were made using meshes from @its-adrienpastel, who graciously allows meshes to be included in recolors. The fem mesh uses their Talia T-Shirt, and the masc mesh uses their Repeat T-Shirt. You do not need to download these for my recolors to work, but you should definitely still check out their CC if you haven’t. 

Note: To honor the real history here, I am choosing not to translate any of the text into Simlish. This is rare for me, and I know a lot of people hate English text in the game, so just know that I almost never do anything in exclusively English like this.

I noticed a University item that's a set of three animating flags, and figured out how to edit it so my Sims can finally have a Pride flag pole outside their homes! It's meant to be put on a wall, but can be placed on columns with moveobjects on.

Pride Thigh High Socks

I finally decided to do some pride CC this year!! I started a bit late and had some technical issues so please forgive the late upload, but I’m pretty excited to finally post something for pride! This is the biggest CC project I’ve done thus far and I would love to do more in the years to come! this was mostly a warmup to see if I’ve learned enough to make more CC for the public and I’m very pleased with myself!

I made sure at the very least the first word of every flag is visible over the swatch bar! I have very poor memory so I figured it’d be useful.

I will note some flags [specifically the unlabeled flags] are a bit hard to see, I decided to leave them as is since I don’t feel comfortable altering the colors of the original flags, I’m sorry about that. There are also a few with very compressed symbols, I tried fixing it but I couldn’t figure it out. Hopefully it isn’t too bad :\

I have to give a gigantic shoutout to my partner @yeehaww-sims for not only the insane amount of resources they shared with me to be able to do this, but their incredible help and advice along the way! If it weren’t for them this wouldn’t have happened.

I may do requests for these after pride ends, this was a massive undertaking and my first time making something this big. I would like a break until after pride, but please feel free to drop an ask! If I get enough I may do a huge request dump in the future.

My CC is not made for T[SW]ERFS/Bigots/Racists/Queerphobes/any other lower life form, if you’re gonna be annoying and edgy please take it up with someone who actually cares.

these don't blend seamlessly with the ears since the lovestruck patch. since EA's plugs are affected by the same bug and there's no known fix for CC, i'm going to leave them until EA fixes it

a set of pride themed stretched ear jewellery, including: ~ 3 sets of tunnels (big, small and heart-shaped) ~ 3 sets of weights (as earrings, or accessories to hang in the tunnels) ~ recolour accessory overlays for the right side. the tunnel overlays also have reversed versions, because it's kinda hard to see both ends of the flag ~ all accessories are in different face piercing slots, so you can have four different flags if you want!

~ teen-elder, all frames ~ 30 pride flags ~ tunnels: 1006/558/104/104 polys ~ weights: 1838/534/184/136 polys

they work with EA ears, but you need to drag the earlobe all the way up in detail edit mode to stop them clipping. custom ear presets might need a custom earlobe slider, and ears that stick out a lot will clip regardless =(

you can use these accessory earlobes when your sims aren't wearing them!
