A mother and owner of a little family-owned street restaurant, Picnic Basket can always be seen with a delicious aroma lingering around her.

Besides the delicious food she always makes, people often see her holding two dolls wherever she goes: a mushroom and tofu from an overseas children's cartoon called "Nabe Tomodachi."

What people are unaware, however, is that Picnic Basket suffers from depressive psychosis after the death of her son and husband. She is unable to take their death and instead carries the two dolls to represent her loved ones.

Her family doctor always takes her for routine check-ups in case a trigger causes her to break down.

like yeah!! of course it makes sense that the guy who lost his parents at a very young age doesnt put the same importance into replacement figures as everyone thinks he should! he was raised by his aunt of course he would place other important influential adults on that same level!!!!

i think theres something significant to be said about dakota not really seeing any of the important adults in his life (tide, mato, lightspeed, etc) as a parental figure and instead saying they remind him of an aunt/uncle
