if you don’t know us by now
The Losers and I have a special message! It’s called: “respect your queer brothers and sisters”. I already went crazy on the hashtags for my silly little “Losers Cult” post:
and with this revelation in hand, my favorite Losers and I, aware that some people have been seeing my platform, have decided to all come out to remind Tumblr, the little fandom of our fun little club, and the fellow Derry protectors that we, and all queer people, were BORN THIS WAY.
I’m Beverly Marsh, and I am bisexual. I’m going out with Ben, but I have always had feelings for men and women, and I always will. I’m a bi who rides a bicycle!! Yeah, Richie thought that was funny but I’m not so sure. I’m honestly a bit of a butch if you ask me.
Bill is proudly bisexual. He never had to come out; we all sort of knew it and so did he. I’ve caught him giving googly eyes at both Natasha Romanoff AND Thor when Stan makes us watch his superhero movies (Stan shockingly likes them; Eddie points out all the factual inaccuracies and parts where the characters should logistically get sick, mortally wounded, or die).
Richie Trashmouth Tozier is the loudest, proudest, craziest gay man (scratch that— man in general; who else would call blood “Hamburger Helper”?) I know. He’s flamboyant sometimes, funny, and proudly with Eddie. He also insists on saying “caca” instead of “shit”. I don’t know why but that sets off my gaydar SO much.
Eddie Kaspbrack is also a gay man. He says he’s a bit more subtle (he likes drag, but personally wouldn’t do it) but it’s obvious from the way he looks at his boyfriend Richie that he is a.. germ-repellent rainbow! He has shorts with rainbows on them, come ON guys.
Mike is AroAce. He isn’t sure where he falls on the spectrum exactly, but has never thought about romance or attraction. He’s more big on history and ensuring Derry remains safe! A noble goal. Lucky we’ll be here to help him out!
Stan is questioning a bit; he isn’t too big on who he’s attracted to. So far he says he’s a straight ally, but isn’t entirely sure and thinks this could change one day. Well, we’ll be here to support Stan the Man anyhow.
And I think it’s painstakingly obvious from this quote I found on the IT Tumblr— all credit goes to the original poster, this is NOT mine —that the Beautiful Enigmatic Nervously-awesome poet of the group is a straight ally:
That sums him up perfectly. He would say that. I can confirm. (And no, don’t start with the “bi women and their straight boyfriends” thing.)

Solid Advice To Help You With Pest Control
Pest control comes in many forms, but how do you know which is right for you? Where can you turn to for expert information on the topic? This article has been written to provide you with all you need to know about dealing with pests and solving your problems for good.
If you are having an issue with stink bugs, remember not to stomp or smash on them. Doing so will release a foul odor into your home. Instead, use a vacuum cleaner to suction them up. It is important, however, that you change the bag after doing so or it will begin to smell as well.
Try to limit the amount of warm environments that you have in your house. Go around to different rooms in your home and try to gauge the temperature where the pests would want to live in the most. If you find a room that is too hot, try to reduce the overall temperature there.
You do not always have to call an exterminator when you are trying to get rid of mice. There are several methods you can use including glue traps and poison. If you are concerned with harming the mice, you can repel them with specially made electronic devices that emit sounds they don't like.
Inspect any seeds or houseplants before you buy them and bring them home. You want to check for current signs of insects. You also want to look for disease issues that might attract insects. Never put something in your home that would attract bugs or pests in the wild outdoors.
If you are having a pest control problem, look to your cabinets in your home for where the bugs are coming from. Pests love these dark and damp areas. Clean all your cabinets thoroughly once a month. When you are spraying for bugs, make sure you hit these areas with a quality pesticide.
Bugs and rodents are obnoxious to coexist with and they can also make you sick. Hopefully this article has given you some beneficial advice that you can use to solve your problem with them. If not, don't hesitate to call in the experts; you deserve to live in a pest-free home!

Last!! I'm laughing ohmygod wtf is this what am doing with this long ass shit, I'm so sorry askdflakjdhfaksdf helppp 23. Describe the physical environment in which you drawing. Be as detailed as possible. Tell me what’s around you as you work. Paint me a picture. Uh.. well. It ain't pretty. Too much dark furniture from my parent's generation house interior trend back then. The table I'm placing my stuffs for workplace is not suitable for work. It's actually a 2metres long give or take table for displaying things. Around 40ish cm in width too. I make do cz we don't know where to put this long ass table if I do buy a proper table and it's expensive to buy the desk I want for me. I'm saving up for future buy tho, it would be a great investment for my work life.
The left side is mostly books about arts. There's HTTYD second movie concept artbook beneath, my bluetooth headphone that I'm hoping to upgrade one day cs it squeezes my head uncomfortably and I have small head. There's Jinyoung's Chapter 0 album there. Here's fun fact, I'm obsessed with kpop but I never buy any of their merchs. I just don't feel it's necessary. I, however, do love putting their pictures online as my phone wallpapers. You'll never see me using myself of my irl loved ones as wallpapers. Only my delusionals or animals or landscapes will stay there. Anything I found aesthetic. So Jinyoung popped my cherry on that one..... that sound's weird lol. Good on you Mr Kim Gaon you make me obsessed with you and your TDJ character. I put 2 of my hair claws there, they're able to clutch my thick and now long hair. I'm thinking of cutting my hair back to short, I like experimenting with different haircut styles but I'm saving money and miss my long hair so that's why I don't cut it now. You cannot see it clearly but there's a black smartwatch next to them, it blends well to the shadow. I have too many dark color items my GOD. I uh.. put a spoon there to take this picture, I was eating yoghurt and I brought it in with me to my room while I left my yoghurt at dinner table lmao. There's a bunch of paper beneath it, my friend literally just deliver it to me to try the feel of it. They were making some papers to draw and they want ppl who draw to test it out and give some feedbacks. The pink bottle cap is mosquito repellent lotion, there's a lot of mosquito in Indonesia, the scars on my legs can give you proof. I put my pencils and pens on the blue hand-knitted pouched given by my friend. It was supposed to be phone wallet kind, but I re-purpose it as my drawing and writing utensils. There's some sticky notes near the lamp, you can see it protrude out a bit. I have 2 t-rex figurine there. I used to have lotta dinosaurs and animal figurines. Like, a whole big bags of it. I play around with it creating scenarios and plots and what not as a kid. Idk where they all right now. Somewhere in my house hopefully just gathered in one giant plastic bag. I hope to collect or make sculptures of dino or monster figurines in the future. There's also my keys with gecko keychain, a random gift from my friend lol. There's pixar like lamp, idk why i bought black even tho I know it will attracts mosquitoes. I guess I don't want the lamp to stand out and distract my eyes. Some recycled board to pin notes and all. Then there's that Geto Suguru squish doll, acts like a stress ball. My friend gave it to me as a birthday gift when she knew I was having a hard time with my mental state and stress-management last year. I remembered tearing up when she gave me that and whispered to me why she specifically bought that. There's my screen, extended from my laptop bcs I used to have computer with CPU and all but I opt of laptop the moment my computer broke down bcs I sometimes want to draw in cafes, I didn't want to draw on sketchbook back then but now I bought another sketchbook, underneath the wooden board beneath my computer screen. If I'm sick of drawing digitally, I switch to sketch or doodle on that sketchbook. Helps me practice my hand and eye coordination too, plus it's different when you're drawing traditional and digital. I don't look at my hands when I draw digital, there's my Huion underneath the long table but again it blends with the shadow bcs it's another dark coloured item. It's just a regular tablet, no screen, so put the tablet on my lap bcs it's ideal for my arm, less pain and ache. Then my eyes look to the computer screen. While as when we draw traditionally or ontop of a screen, your hands gets in the way and the composition of your drawings will somehow be different.
Anyway, my screen is showing this exact answer I'm typing and the link to the question list on the right with discord running in the background where I usually mingle with some of my irl friends and find commissions. Hmm.. I use a white logitech keyboard, the circle shaped buttons. It was weird getting used to the size from regular keyboard but I bought this one for the size, to safe space as I don't really have much and bcs it looks cute xD I don't like using mechanical keyboard. The sound will irritate me if I'm stressed but I do like the custom keycaps people create. I just like it if I'm not distracted by the things I use daily and for my convenience. I'm already distracted enough, too much, by my own thoughts so to me it's not ideal having more distractions.
Here's the extension of my work space. There's my laptop, behind it there's electric plugs where I plug my laptop, phone charge, lamp, computer screen, my playstation 4 on the very corner of my desk beneath the white cloth over there- again, blending into the shadows. Such a depressing work space god I want to have white, brown and green vibe going on in my room but eh.. we make do with what we have for now xD. Underneath the table, the important things I will mention will be speaker, connected to my computer screen for me to play my PS4. There's another speaker, bluetooth, uhh.. covered by my yellow chair where I frequently use it when I turn on my laptop. Listening to music, watching movies, YT videos, play Monster Hunter Worlds, or when I stream movies for my friends. There's 2 black bags that AGAIN blends into the shadow bcs of the colors (cries) where I use it to keep books or things that I don't use frequent but I know I will need at random times. 1 bag is a laptop bag that comes when I purchase my laptop, I use it if I work from cafe with my laptop. I have Koya (BT21 character, Namjoon's) keychain doll I got from my friend in Japan. Remember when I told you I don't buy my idols merchs? Yeah, my friends gift them to me instead lol. Either rip offs or real ones. They're such a blessing in my life. Also, you can see the stacks of books and dusting items on the wall. That's the family items they keep and almost never use. I really want to throw them all out but I can't right now cs most of them needs thorough check from my family before I can say, OFF INTO THE TRASH! I don't really like keeping things I never used, I just throw it away. Might seem cold to some people, especially if you keep some memories related to it. I just don't want to be suffocated with unused things. I'd rather put new and useful things there. One exception for the books even tho I don't read it anymore. They're about animals, insects, whales, dinosaurs, plants, trees, just encyclopedia things.. It's knowledge :/ but I'm a clown bcs I don't open that book anymore lmao. Guess I like to collect certain books \o/ hihi Last thing is the pillow I use to sleep, I use it too for my back support cs I be feeling old in my 28 y.o body for all the sitting down and shrimp posture when I draw. WHEW here we are at the final words. Thankyou so so much for asking this! Didn't think it will take me more than 2 hours typing this but I love it when ppl ask things they're curious about me or wanting to get to know me. I'm so gonna ask you too, but lemme read and choose my questions I want to know about you most. Bless you darling <3
hiii, do you want to do an artist's version of this fun writer's asks game? i'm so curious about what you think of 5, 10, 12, 15, 19, 23
hi there! thanks for this fun game! lemme copy the question to change some of the words and answer them right away xD I will put aside my experience as writer and reader too bcs this is artist version so the answers will be strictly from my experience as an illustrator!
5. Do you have any drawing/painting superstitions? What are they and why are they 100% true? Oh gosh, good question- I'm guessing this is some kind like ritual or routine I do before I start scribbling in my sketchbook or digital canvas. I think I kinda do and don't. Since this new year, I started to intentionally journal my thoughts out when I woke up. This is recommended from the book that's called The Artist's Way, some kind like spiritual guide for artists. I've only read up until the page where the author said to take your inner child out to date- creative dates. Anyway, basically the journaling I do religiously now has to be 3 pages and pour any thoughts that came onto my mind. Taking out trash from our mind daily instead letting it piling for months waiting to be taken out. I only do 2.5, my right arm and shoulder always aching since few years ago. But so far, it does helps me a bit with my overthinking and be discipline about my healthy habits. I'm not the best at discipline so I'm proud I'm able to keep this going for almost 3 months now. The other thing, which I'm not sure is something superstitions, is to look up drawings by other artists or watch movies, see fanarts, read fanfics, or just be in my mind, to get inspired and start drawing. I'm mostly brain rot driven or if I'm seeing something very often, I will draw it. I'm trying not to count on my brain rot energy too often bcs I want to be able to draw with and without the brain rot. It's still fluctuates but I'm better than I was years ago. I'm happy with the progress! I will continue on next answer post, Idk why Tumblr is not working for me today :( so this will be 6 answer post, I'm so sorry

The Routine of a Pitiful Fool
Ren Hana/Reader (reader is gender-neutral)
words: 1570
rating: M
It was simple, really. Your days got regimented into nice, neat little blocks that stacked atop each other, perfectly in-line, no tipping or loss of balance; all was secured. It was unity, unquestionable, impenetrable.
note: this isn’t too long, kind of a character study anyway... i might actually write more BTD stuff soon
(AO3 link)
It was simple, really. Your days got regimented into nice, neat little blocks that stacked atop each other, perfectly in-line, no tipping or loss of balance; all was secured. It was unity, unquestionable, impenetrable. It made you wonder late in the night, moonlight filtering through the windows and stretching across your flesh, if it was all meticulously planned by him. Perhaps he had a calendar of some sorts lying around, manic scribblings and twisted ideals, designating what he was going to do and when - or more precisely what you were going to do.
It begins as such:
You wake up in the morning. (“The morning” is intentionally vague; he doesn’t let you know how much time has passed. You’ve tried your best to keep track of the days, but somewhere along the way you got lost and the concept escaped you like sand escaping between one’s fingers.) From the thin crack in the door that was mandated by your, uh, owner, you could hear the faint clicking of his footsteps across the cold floor, the one that always shocked you awake as if you were sleepwalking this entire time and only now have come among the living. Maybe you were.
He, by this point, has already started breakfast. (You always were relieved that he was a good cook). You ignore the silent stinging pain of your shoddily-stitched side as you approach and make sure to put on a sweet, saccharine tone. “Good morning, Ren,” you say, smiling forcibly, feeling something terrible rising, prodding at the back of your throat. You push it down.
“Hi!” he chirps in response, so joyously it’d make you nauseous regardless of who said it. You push down the sickness in your throat again and keep smiling (keepsmilingkeepsmilingkeepsmiling you don’t know if you’re in the clear yet keepsmilingkeepsmilingkeepsmiling) as your hands reach across the table, lazily, trying to stretch. The material is harsh against your hands, which were artificially softened by Ren’s strange fixation with body care products, the feeling of his hands rubbing against yours with a thick salve covering them and occasionally scratching you, followed by meek apologies and little kisses. Keepsmilingkeepsmiling-
“I made your favorite”, he beams, stretching out the word “favorite” a little too long. He sets it down on the table, beside his own meal, and even pulls out your chair for you like a true gentleman. “I hope it’s good.”
“I’m sure it will be,” you say, still smiling as well as you could, an invisible defense. He shifts ever so slightly - shoulders and ears relaxed, tail moving fluidly, and you take in a silent breath of relief. You’re out of the woods now. The smile drops, and you eat, not too fast nor too slow - appearances matter, after all, and if there is anything you’ve learned about Ren, it’s that he is very sensitive to appearance, illusion, the presentation of the self. You think you’ve got it down solidly; not perfectly, but could you ever get it perfectly with this man?
-
Once that is done, it’s time to bond. This is the main attraction - the shining pinnacle of your day, what defines it as good or bad, what makes or breaks. Bond how? Well, there could be four scenarios:
Ren is in a very, very good mood. This is a lucky day. There will be no chaos or cold steel or fire or rage. While his clinginess repels you in every way and it makes you wish you could climb out of your skin, it doesn’t bother you nearly as much as it used to, where he would put on some crappy movie and tangle you in his limbs while you remained stiff as a board. And then he’d get upset. And then he’d start yelling at you for your ungraciousness, to which you confessed, apologizing and trying to get some mercy repair your transgressions. Whether it would succeed or not what as a toss-up. Yet, as time has gone on, it has gotten easier. Much easier. Now, you sit, limbs soft, feeling him move his hands about, repositioning you, nuzzling your neck, encouraging you to feel the softness of his fur. You never wanted to feel it. You never asked to feel it. And yet you do, hands shaking imperceptibly, touching the strands that were silky soft and irrevocably tainted.
Things are less romantic and more based upon the flesh. Sadistic, perhaps, but never cruel. The feeling of contact with your skin - silk, talons, the steel permanently suffocating you slowly - has atrophied, morphed into something greater. It is no longer a shock, a desperate dissociation as an attempt to escape - vanity among vanities! - but rather a melting, as if you could feel bits and pieces of you pouring out, slowly dripping down your exposed chest, spattering out when you cough. These pieces of you are lost forever, swept into a cold and uncaring tide.
The point where you can tell things have begun to deteriorate. There’s an endless succession of somebodies, so vague and destroyed that you don’t remember names. You don’t remember faces, either; you only remember the warmth of the blood, the cries of the damned, the sick feeling in your stomach that never seemed to go away. You would cry, plead, beg; “I can’t do this, don’t make me do this,” every time, incessantly. Every time it seemed to work - Ren would give a condescending titter (“Aw, it’s okay, let me handle it”) before he would take his tools and get down to his depraved business. You would shut your eyes, trying your best to forget; it never worked. It’s hard for it to work, really, when you leave and walk around for a little while and hear a strange squish and realize a chunk of someone’s brain had gotten stuck to your foot.
The bleakest, blackest days. The days you deserved it. The days where you did Something (he would never specify what; gotta keep you frosty, after all) and he’d drag you into the basement that reeked of rot. You knew what lied inside, the history of hell, the terrible truths and trials that the basement held. It made you cry. You always wondered if the tears ever got to him, if he saw your tear-streaked face and the soft, desperate tone in your voice and changed his original plan, deciding to be a little nicer. But you could never know, of course, the only thing you knew was the pain, so prolonged and intense it felt like you were dying - and you really were, or at least on the brink of it. Perhaps that was his goal - to get you so close to the edge, to make you taste death on the very tip of your tongue, feel the icy grasp of it graze your arm, before pulling you back and saving you; a grandiose act of heroism and love. Or maybe his goal was to punish you for the hell of it.
-
And then, the grand finale: the end of your discomfort or the prolonging of your agony, depending on how things were going. If Ren had been able to keep his cool for the day and not get angry at you for some reason or another, it would end with him carefully leading you to bed, tucking you in, and wishing you a good night before you stumble into sleep buried beneath the insane amount of junk he’d buy in an attempt to appease you. If he hadn’t, well, it could range from him coldly dismissing you, sending you off without a word or even a look of acknowledgement, which always set the pit of dread in your stomach - he could be plotting Something. What is this Something? You don’t know.
Some nights, though, when you were real bad and made him real angry, he’d mash the button linked to your shock collar, again and again, leaving you heaving and convulsing on the floor before picking you up, shoving you in the closet, and slamming the door shut, while you felt as if your eyes were melting out of your skull as you sunk to the foul-smelling floor.
The only advantage you had in this situation was Ren’s predictable erraticism. It soon became clear to you, the process he went through: he would build momentum, emotion, hysteria, climbing higher and higher and getting more and more unhinged, accelerating as he went. He was riding a high and beautiful wave, where he was right and you were in love; there was nothing that could stop him, his love for you, his power over the poor souls of his victims. And then, he would stop - he’d hit the ceiling with a devastating thud, rapidly crash down, smashing through the floorboards, directly into rock bottom, where you were a terrible, traitorous, despicable wretch; where he had no power, where all was wrong and nothing, nothing, not your love or the memories of Him or anything, would be able to save him.
This predictability gave you little but a sad knowledge of how things were going to go. Watching him fly ever so high, the verge of greatness, a true being amongst shadows, to the desperate, depraved, beastly creature you both knew he truly was. You wondered if the cycle was more agonizing and degrading for him than it was you, but you would never get an answer.
You never get answers in this house.

🍒 Cherries In Witchcraft 🍒
Gender: Feminine (traditional western European magickal gender)
Elements: Water, Fire, Air
Planets: Venus
Zodiac: Aquarius, Aries
Deities: Morrigan, Artemis, Persephone, Ares, Herne, Aphrodite, Mars, Pan, Thor, Vertumnus, Yaya Zurkurai
Magickal Uses: Love, sex, playfulness, psychic energy and abilities, divination, creativity, sensitivity, money, luck, inner peace, healing, youthfulness, innocence, fertility, sweetness, femininity, emotions, spirituality, friendship, dreams, beauty, relationships, glamours
Magickal Info
It is believed that the best time to use cherry wood or any part of the cherry tree for spells is on the day of Venus (Friday) during the hour of Venus for the best results.
Cherry stones (the pits/seeds) have been used as talismans to attract love. According to Tess Whitehurst, author of You Are Magical and The Magic of Trees, cherry blossoms are for divine love, forgiveness, gentleness, remembering one's primal innocence, romance, and weight loss.
Any part of the cherry tree can be used for spell work and for incense making (bark), oils, sachets, witch bottles, poppets, and the branches are well-suited to becoming magic wands. Cherry wands are best for healing and love spells/rituals.
There is a simple Japanese love spell- the practice of tying a single strand of hair to a blossoming cherry tree to attract love.
Cherry pits have been used in the practice of discernment and foretelling, and its energy can be tapped into for psychic pursuits.
Cherry juice can sometimes be used as a substitute for blood in rituals and magickal workings, and the fruit can be used in place of meat.
The pits can be used in spells for repelling unwanted attention and cause the target to suffer from sickness like nausea and headaches, or something worse if they refuse to go away.
To find out how many years you will live, run around a tree full of ripe cherries, then shake it. The number of cherries that fall represents the number of years left.
Other Info
The cherry blossom was considered sacred to the Japanese emperor.
In 1885 Eliza Ruhamah Scidmore of the U.S., a travel writer and photographer, began working with the Japanese government to arrange for cherry trees to be planted along the Potomac River in Washington D.C. After years of negotiations the people of Tokyo donated 3,000 cherry trees to the people of Washington. On March 27, 1912, Helen Taft (wife of the U.S. president) and Viscountess Chinda (wife of the Japanese Ambassador) planted the first two cherry trees. Approximately 150 of the original 1912 trees, including the first two planted, are still alive.
Eating cherries can increase sexual energy and enhance fertility.
American colonists mixed cherry juice with rum to make a bitter cordial called Cherry Bounce.
In Highland folklore, wild cherry trees had mysterious qualities, and to encounter one was considered auspicious and fateful. In fact, in the Highlands it was once taboo to use cherry wood, as cherry trees were regarded as being so magickal in the culture. They were also a bit rarer in the Scottish Highlands as the cherry tree grows best in the more southerly regions of the UK.
Even to this day many cold and cough remedies use cherry bark to silence coughs due to colds and to help expel phlegm.
Traditional Chinese herbalists viewed cherry's energy and characteristics as being warm and sweet, and as a fruit it is the emblem of femininity and kindness.
Medicinal properties of cherries: promote healthy eyesight, diuretic, increase appetite, anti-inflammatory, cough and cold relief
Been a while since I shared anything on here, so here's some info I gathered and put together a little while ago on using cherries in witchcraft!

For Once
Summary: Hermione and Ron share a tender moment but, as is sadly so often the case, Ron's siblings make it their mission to upset things. Turns out this was one time too many, however.
I always get frustrated when, in fics, Ron's siblings deliberately ruin moments between Ron and Hermione, and recieve no comeuppance for it (even if Ron had suffered yet another hit to his self-esteem) . So here is my response.
Not bashing but definitely critical of Ginny, Bill, Fred and George, so a warning for that.
~~~~~~~~~
Read on FFN. Read on AO3.
~~~~~~~~~
Hermione climbed the staircase of the Burrow. She had been here for a few days so far, and she was loving every moment of it, as she always did whenever she was here. Everything from the Devon countryside, to the food, to the sweet redheaded boy that-
Wait, no. All the Weasleys were sweet, Hermione told herself. It wasn’t like the youngest Weasley boy was especially so.
Oh, who was she kidding? She’d stopped believing that her feelings were just platonic well over a year ago.
Anyway, sixth year would be beginning in about a months’ time. Harry had not arrived at the Burrow yet, but he was expected to be picked up by Dumbledore sometime over the next week. Hermione was looking forward to seeing him. Harry was her best friend and, well, he was like a little brother to her as well. Neither of them had any siblings, although at least Hermione was welcome in her own home.
Her brow furrowed as she remembered the last time she had seen Harry’s aunt and uncle. Both of them seemed deeply unpleasant people. Harry had never really spoken about how he had been treated by them growing up, but Hermione could tell that it was far worse than he would ever let on.
She was so wrapped up in her thoughts that she walked straight into someone on the next landing.
‘Oof, you okay, Hermione?’
Hermione felt her face flush slightly. Of course, it had to be that redhead she’d bumped into.
Ron stared down at her, his blue eyes looking slightly concerned. He was carrying several folded sheets, his biceps slightly tensed and looking more-than-just-slightly attractive. His freckles had multiplied due to the summer heat, and Hermione was very aware that they covered him head-to-toe, seemingly even in places she had never seen (except in dreams that made her flush upon waking). Ron had always been cute but, good grief, when had he gotten so… hot?
‘O-oh, yes,’ Hermione replied, hoping he wouldn’t notice how flustered she was. ‘Sorry, I was… thinking.’
‘Always dangerous,’ Ron said, grinning. ‘But you wouldn’t be Hermione otherwise.’
Hermione smiled, trying to ignore her stomach flipping at his words.
‘Thanks,’ she replied. ‘Are those for your mum?’
‘Yeah, she asked for some fresh sheets,’ Ron said, as she followed him back downstairs. ‘What are you up to?’
‘I was actually looking for you,’ she said.
‘What? Why? Did mum say something?’
‘No, Ron,’ Hermione said, nudging him fondly with her elbow as they descended onto a landing. ‘I just happen to enjoy your company and wanted to spend time with you.’
‘Oh, yeah?’
Ron’s mouth slipped into that lopsided smile. The smile that never failed to reduce Hermione to a flustered mess, as much as she tried to hide it. It was a miracle that Ron never seemed to notice.
‘Y-yeah.’
‘Good to know I’m wanted,’ he said, grinning down at her. ‘I was-’
‘DRAT!’
Both of them jumped. Ron turned to where the sound had come from, and opened the door.
Mr Weasley was scrambling around on the floor, trying to retrieve his wand from underneath a chest of drawers. His balding head was bobbing up and down in frustrating.
‘Dad?’ Ron asked. ‘Everything okay?’
‘Oh, hello Ron,’ Mr Weasley said. ‘Sorry to yell; it just dropped out of my hand. Looks like it slipped under her.’
‘No worries,’ Ron said. He placed the sheets he was holding onto the bed, crouched down and, with a flourish, retrieved the missing wand. ‘Here.’
‘Thanks, son,’ Mr Weasley said, as Ron handed his wand over. ‘‘I just reinforcing the charms around the house. I see you’re helping your mother with those sheets?’
‘No worries. Yeah, just finished,’ Ron said. ‘Which charms are you doing?’
‘Oh, just the muggle-repellent ones. I hate putting them up, but it’s important for security.’
‘Dad, if you had your way, you’ve been asking the muggles in the villages for plug-making instruction manuals,’ Ron said, good-naturedly.
‘Well, you did inherit my love for all things muggle, Ron,’ Mr Weasley said, chuckling. ‘Wouldn’t you say?’
Hermione couldn’t help noticing that, at Mr Weasley’s words, Ron’s ears went slightly pink.
Don’t be silly, she sternly told herself, she just means that Ron likes hearing about the muggle way of doing things. He… he doesn’t mean…
‘Anyway,’ Mr Weasley continued. ‘I’m almost finished now. Hermione, I believe Ron said that you’ve been doing extra work about charms during the holidays.’
‘Er, yes, that’s true,’ Hermione said, quickly as she tried to ignore her own confusion. ‘It’s fascinating, isn’t it? I mean, all the different ways that charms can be used to obscure and hide things. I’ve always wondered how long it took for the spells to be standardised…’
She trailed off, as she saw Ron grin.
‘What?’
‘Nothing,’ Ron said, his cheeks dimpling under his freckles. ‘I’m never gonna get sick of seeing you all excited about magic.’
Hermione felt her face flush.
Mr Weasley seemed to smile to himself.
‘Well, like I said, I’m almost finished now,’ he said, raising his wand to the ceiling. He began to utter a spell, and stepped forward.
However, his foot collided with an old teddy bear, and he slipped, stumbling over the end of the spell.
Mr Weasley’s wand shot out of his hand, and fired a spell, which headed straight for Hermione.
‘Hermione, duck!’
Before she knew what was happening, Hermione found herself pushed out of harms way by Ron.
The spell hit Ron squarely in the chest. He gave a gentle groan, and fell backwards on the floor.
‘Ron!’
Mr Weasley had hurried over, and knelt down beside his brother. Hermione dashed forward, and dropped down on Ron’s other side. With thinking, she eased Ron’s head off the floor, so that he was resting on her lap. Ron stirred feebly.
‘Mr Weasley, is… is he okay?’
‘He’ll be fine. Just a little confunded,’ Mr Weasley said, smiling faintly down at Ron. ‘I’m sorry, son. Hermione, It’s best if you stay with him while I go and get the healing supplies from the kitchen.’
‘O-okay,’ Hermione said, suddenly aware that Ron’s head was resting in her lap.
‘Thanks,’ Mr Weasley said, moving to the door. ‘Don’t worry; I doubt Ron will complain. He did take that spell for you, after all.’
With a knowing smile at Hermione’s flustered expression, Mr Weasley left the room.
‘Mione?’ Ron mumbled, his eyes still half-closed. ‘W’happened?’
‘You… you got hit by a confunding spell,’ Hermione replied. ‘Your dad’s gone to get you something for it.’
‘You… you okay?’
Hermione smiled.
‘Ron, you’re the one who got hit by it. Worry about yourself.’
The redhead smiled.
‘So you didn’t get hit…that’s good… glad you’re okay, ‘Mione…’
Hermione felt her heart well, as she stared down at the redhead. His smile was happy and utterly genuine.
‘T-thank you, Ron,’ she whispered. ‘You’re… you’re too good to me.’
‘Naaah,’ Ron mumbled. ‘You’re important… especially to me.’
Hermione smiled, as her heart threatened to burst open. Ron was such a lovely person. No wonder she had fallen so hard.
The door opened, and Hermione looked up. Mr Weasley had returned, carrying a medicine kit. Kneeling down, he pulled out a small vial of potion.
‘Here; it’ll take away his dizziness.’
Hermione nodded, and took the vial. She gently tipped the contents into Ron’s mouth. The redhead swallowed slowly, and he seemed to return somewhat to his senses.
‘There we go, Mr Weasley said, as Ron sat up, holding his head. ‘You’ll feel wobbly for a while, so wait until the potion takes full effect before standing up.’
‘R-right,’ Ron said. ‘Dad, can you take those sheets downstairs? I think mum wanted them.’
Mr Weasley nodded, picked up the sheets, gave a brief smile to Ron and Hermione, and then left through the door.
Ron seemed to suddenly realise that his head had been laying in Hermione’s lap.
‘Er, sorry,’ Ron mumbled, his ears going pink. He smiled softly. ‘Thanks for looking after me. Guess I behaved like a right twit, right?’
Hermione opened her mouth, intent on telling Ron that he had been brave and sweet, how much it meant to her that he was so kind, and how much she admired him for it.
‘Yeah, “twit” is right!’
Hermione stopped, her mouth half-open. Her eyes widened in horror as she turned towards the door.
Fred and George had walked into the room, followed by Ginny and Bill. All of them seemed to be snickering to themselves.
‘He got knocked right out! Ickle Ronniekins had to be the big brave knight, didn’t he?’
‘Nevermind, Ron,’ Bill said, chuckling. ‘I’m sure Hermione doesn’t mind you dribbling on her jeans.’
Ron’s ears burned further pink, and his shoulders seemed to slump. The smile on his face had vanished, and now he looked awkward, uncomfortable and -above all- resigned.
‘Er, sorry,’ he said, quietly to Hermione. ‘I… I best go help Mum with the dinner. See you later.’
‘No, Ron,’ Hermione began, frantically. ‘You don’t understand! I…’
‘It’s fine, Hermione,’ Ron said, quietly. ‘You… you don’t need to explain anything.’
Still looking unsteady on his feet, Ron walked out of the room. Hermione thought she heard a sigh as the door closed behind him.
‘Come on, Hermione,’ Ginny said, still chuckling. ‘Wait, he didn’t really dribble on you, did-’
‘What is wrong with you all?!’ Hermione cried. ‘Why can’t you all keep your mouths shut?’
The room went very quiet as Fred, George, Ginny and Bill all stopped laughing to stare at her.
‘He was being brave and kind, like he always is,’ Hermione exclaimed, tears began to streak down her face. ‘And you made him think I was just pitying him! Like he was just being an idiot for being so selfless! How dare you?’
The Weasleys all went silent. Hermione didn’t know where her anger was coming from; it could have been from the years of teasing she had seen Ron be subjected to by his siblings, or the fact that any moment between her and Ron seemed to be constantly ruined by his siblings mocking him, or maybe it was the fact that she couldn’t begin to fully explain to Ron just how much she adored him. All she knew was that she could stay silent no longer. This was one time too many.
‘I’m sick of this! He’s your brother; he’s kind, and sweet, and brave. More than you could ever imagine, and yet you all treat him like he can’t do anything right!’
Her body wracked with sobs, Hermione slammed the door behind her, and stormed upstairs to the room she was sharing with Ginny.
She could distantly hear the sounds of a returning Mr Weasley asking his remaining children why Ron had gone before the potion had taken full effect, and of the other Weasleys stumbling through their explanations.
Good luck trying to explain that to your consciences, Hermione thought, bitterly, as she closed the bedroom door behind her. She sank into the mattress; angry, frustrated but most of all devastated that, no matter how much she adored Ron, it seemed like all of his siblings seemed to act like he could never be anything other than an object of mockery and pity. A clown. A twit who only ever made pratfalls and embarrass his friends.
Or, at least, Ron certainly wouldn’t think they saw him as anything more than that. And that was possibly the worst thing about it.

Stinging Nettles!!
A post on their uses, how to propogate them, and their attributes.
If you're like me, you get a little pissed off when you're out foraging and get stung by one of these suckers. I get it, it's a pain; but did you know that Stinging Nettles are incredibly useful to us?
This is the first part of an upcoming series where I talk about the herbs that I see a lot (I am currently in the United Kingdom). Enjoy!
Quick info:
Ortica dioca, of the Urticacaea family.
Other names include: Devil's Claw, Devil's Plaything, Nettle, Burn Hazel, Burn Weed, Ortiga Ancha, sting-leaf, Hoky-poky, Heg-beg.
Gender: male/masculine
Planet: Mars
Element: Fire
Associated deities: Hades, Horus, Cernnonus, Jupiter, Osiris, Pluto, Thor, Vishnu, serpentine deities, and Vulcan
Zodiac signs: Aries and Scorpio
Commonly found in moist and shady places in Europe, Asia, and North America.
They are important larval foods for many different species of butterflies and moths.
Propagation
Plant nettles six to twelve inches apart in moist, rich soil that has access to shade (they usually do well in a pot as well). If they are grown in a garden they should be surrounded by a barrier of some kind (both above and underground) to prevent them from taking control of your garden. Cut nettles back before they seed so they don't spread out of control.
Harvesting and Storage
Be sure to wear thick gloves and long sleeves and jeans when harvesting as their stingers can pierce through thin fabric. Pluck young nettles in the spring and dry/steam then freeze to store; cooking or drying them will destroy the sting. Do not harvest or eat later season leaves as they will start to get tough and grainy which can cause urinary issues.
Cut the stalks to the ground in Autumn, strip them of their leaves and flatten to dry. You may use the stripped leaves in your compost bin to be used as fertiliser for your plants. Once dried, the stalks can be broken up to to retrieve the long fibres for hand spinning or shredded to make paper.
If you wait until the first frost to harvest your nettles for fibre, you will find them a lot easier to work with.
Magickal Attributes
Nettles can be burned to drive out negative or unwanted spirits as well as being used in protection bags. Also, they can be ground into a powder and used in spells to break curses. It can remove/repel hexes; keeps fear, anxiety, doubts, and stresses at bay, as well as being quite effective at keeping sickness such as colds away (I find this to be very effective when used in tea).
Stinging nettle is a strong purifier and is great at attracting abundance, courage, and inner strength.
Medicinal Uses
You can make it into a tea as an addition to diet for anyone recovering from a long illness or if you suffer from chronic weakness, fatigue, or anemia. Steep dry or fresh leaves in boiling water for 10 minutes and strain. This will destroy the sting and you will have a tasty and nutritious broth to show your witchcraft buddies.
It is also great for urinary tract/inflammatory conditions. Freeze dried nettles are useful for keeping hayfever at bay and with allergic conditions. You can also mush the leaves up with boiling water and apply it to closed wounds like bruises (let it dry and cool down first!).
Warnings
While they are generally perfectly safe to consume, they can act as a diuretic and stimulate stomach/abdominal contractions when eaten in large amounts. If you are already taking diuretics, have problems with your blood sugar or blood pressure, or are pregnant, approach nettles with caution
If you are taking this for a condition or serious illness, contact a doctor first to make sure that it is safe for you to use. NEVER use as a replacement for prescribed medicine.

𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝
navigation | requests : open | 2nd march 2021
pairing : bakugou x fem!reader
genre : fluff, heavy angst
warnings : mutual pining, soulmate AU, !quirk world, heartbreak?, eating, vomit
themes : falling in love, unfair world, ‘it had to be us’, slow burns
desc : in a world where when you see your soulmate in their most vulnerable state your eyes change to the colour of the one you’re meant to be with, but sometimes soulmates aren’t allowed to be together, the way the universe was made is cruel it hurt.
a/n : i’m about to cause so much pain so i’m sorry in advance 🕴
listen to :
this world was cruel, that much was clear.
one couple in a thousand are fated to be apart, the thought didn’t scare you much since people in love always find a way, right?
when you touch your soulmates hands for the first time you feel a little spark, like electricity but for 1 couple out of 1000 they’d get thrown apart, quite literally thrown apart. they’d repel like the opposite ends of a magnet.
reading people’s experience on the matter broke your heart, people fated to be together only for their wishes to become nothing but that, wishes.
the same happened to your aunt and uncle, they’re together but apart, not allowed to touch eachother without being repelled apart. you watched it firsthand and it hurt seeing them live so happily apart in this unfair world.
your other uncle was no other then pro-hero all might, he raised you from the age of 3, your parents died when you were young, in a villain attack. they died fighting and their last wish was for you, their daughter to grow up a happy child in the care of your fathers brother, all might.
your uncle is an amazing guardian, he was nervous but he taught you everything he knows, your wish is to be a pro-hero exactly like him, exactly like your parents and that’s what he wanted for you as well even if there were dangers who was he to say no to your dream?
he trained you carefully, your quirk was powerful and sometimes hard to manage when not in control of your emotions, your quirk is telekinesis, you can lift yourself into the air with enough power and your hands stabilise the quirk, your nose bleeds when you start overusing it and you get lightheaded but with the help of all might you slowly got better at handling the power.
-> FIRST DAY OF UA
‘y/n you’re up next’ you walked up to where your class teacher aizawa was standing, steadying your feet a little you flicked the ball into the air only above your hand and then using your mind and hand you shot it up into the sky, everyone watched in amazement as you got the best score by barely trying. your eyes locked with a blondes, his eyes stood out, they glistened gold and crimson in the sun dancing in the light hitting his face but you looked away feeling your face heat up at his looks. ‘hey y/n right? you did amazing out there my names mina ashido!’ you smiled at her friendliness, ‘hi, you did pretty great too’.
-> HIM
as the months went on you caught yourself staring more and more at a certain blonde, sometimes you caught him staring back. it was no secret that you’re attractive anyone with eyes could see that, someone had recorded you trying to regain your breath during the sports festival and it went viral. when you caught him staring at you from across the table, you simply smirked at him before going back to talking to denki and mina.
at first you thought your attraction to him was only because of his looks, until you started getting to know the boy underneath. he’s caring, he’s thoughtful, he would never say it but he is. you noticed when he would do things for others, when you all moved into the dorms after the USJ attack you started to notice his small gestures to show he cares, they may not be big but you noticed.
in his eyes you are incredible, he often thought about your strength, physically and mentally. everyone thinks that you’re lucky because you got to learn from all might but they never thought about the circumstances in which you got there, your parents died but you still fought on. at first you were closed off, until you became friends with mina who introduced you to the bakusquad, you all clicked immediately. your sarcastic humour paired with their loud and bakugous equally sarcastic humour fit like a puzzle.
-> love birds
‘hey idiot, come here’, it was 8pm and the dekusquad had sneaked out to watch the sunset along the beach. you hopped down from the railing and traced it with the tip of your fingers before reaching him, ‘what is it blasty’, you looked at him, the crimson sky faded along with pink, the sun only illuminating the colour onto his face making him look beautiful he looks pretty , she looks pretty. if only you could hear eachothers thoughts.
‘look at them’ you looked down from the perch to see denki kicking water at kirishima and sero as mina threw wet sand balls at them both, you giggled at the sight, even her laugh is pretty he thought.
‘hey love birds!! get down here!’ the pink haired girl yelled.
‘SHUT UP PINKIE’ neither of you denied it, maybe because that’s what you wanted.
you all sneaked back into the dorms when it got dark, you clicked your phone ‘12am’ you whispered to your friends, thankfully no one snitched on you. the wooden floors creaked a little as you made your way to your room, you grabbed your towel and slipped off your clothes before slipping into the shower, once you got out you threw on a large hoodie which almost went down to your knees. ‘y/nn bakugou is being annoying can you help’ denki pouted making grabby hands at you. after agreeing you skipped downstairs to see the boy nagging over the dishes, smiling a little you walked over to him.
you started cleaning up the dishes he was nagging about as he made you all food since you were all hungry from the beach. ‘thanks’ you grinned hearing those words leave his mouth, even if they were quiet ‘what was that blasty?’ he glared at you ‘i will deck you’ you stifled a laugh at his words as your eyes connecting with his crimson ones for a second, both of your eyes widened looking into the others before you quickly went back to the task at hand.
he just has pretty eyes.. that’s it fuck, no i don’t like her, fuck.
———
falling in love with katsuki bakugou was not in your plans, but the way the blonde haired boy fussed about cleaning and things that you’d think he’d give no care to struck you. the way he’d pick a stray fluff or hair off kirishimas clothes but not tell him, the way he’d use his anger to mask him affection. it all endeared you, but why?
maybe it was the night you went to the beach, when he looked down at your friends messing around like it’d be the last time he’s seeing them, or the way he looked at you when you sneezed with a grin on his face,
‘why are you smiling at that’
‘you sounded like a fuckin cat’,
was it because of his eyes, his stupid pretty crimson eyes telling you to come closer, telling you to kiss him. — or the night he looked after you when you got drunk in the dorms, you had drunk a little too much and felt yourself feeling sick, before you knew it you’d ran upstairs to your bathroom and started vomiting into the toilet, he followed you and lifted your hair out of your face, ‘idiot take these’ he handed you some medicine for the pain in your head. — and he stayed with you that night so you wouldn’t be sick by yourself.
it’s been almost two years since you caught feelings for him. two years since you fell dangerously in love with the angry blonde boy.
———
today you were attacked by the league of villains while training and everything was okay, you were fighting alongside him, while you were fighting back to back you hadn’t noticed the villain to the side of you, he was aiming for bakugou, you did what you could in the moment and took the hit for him. you didn’t know what the persons quirk did but it didn’t seem to affect to you at all. ‘IDIOT GRAB MY HAND’ you quickly shook your head to get rid of the dizzy feeling taking place and grabbed his hand.
as soon as you defeated everyone you gathered near the front of the facility and that’s when you felt it. feelings from your past, the pain of having zero to very little memories of your parents, the pain of everyone but you knowing them, most of all the anger. you screamed crouching to the ground throwing your hands over your ears trying to get rid of the emotions they were overwhelming and painful. bakugou told aizawa that you got hit with a quirk but it didn’t do anything, he ran over as soon as he heard you scream.
‘y/n!, can you hear me.. fuck what’s happening’ you squeezed your eyes shut yelling out again as the stabbing feeling covered your body like needles, aizawa tried erasing the quirk but it was no use.
you gasped for air as the pain finally stopped and opened your eyes, ‘FUCK YOU SCARED ME SO FUCKING MUCH’ you smiled weakly as you realised he’s cradling you, — your eyes change colour when you see your soulmate in their most vulnerable state — ‘wait what is-’ you looked up at his words to see his crimson eyes replaced by your [c] ones, your own eyes now crimson, in only 5 seconds his eyes turned back to crimson as yours turned back to [c].
‘bakugou’ you were afraid to look at his expression, he tilted your head up and he smiled at you ‘i’m glad it’s you, i’m so fuckin glad it’s you’ you beamed at him as tears welled up in the base of your eyes.
that night you were planning on going on a date together, just you and him. mina and denki were sat on your bed crying and screaming about what happened, ‘ugh the way you looked at eachother makes me want a relationship!!’ she sobbed as her lips formed a pout, you laughed at her antics as denki did your eyeliner for you. ‘is this okay?’ you went for very ‘you’ clothes and you were pretty satisifed with your outfit, smiling you turned to them. ‘now this isn’t fair how do you look good in everything’ you scoffed before booping the pink girl.
you had butterflies in your stomach before even meeting him, the way he made you feel nervous but ecstatic. ‘hey’ you turned at the voice, smiling when you noticed you accidentally matched, you wore a black jumper with a skull on it as he wore his black skull t-shirt. you both noticed this and smiled.
‘gonna keep staring at me dumbass, come on?’
you walked after him smiling at his eagerness, ‘where are we going blasty’ he quickly looked up at the stars before saying ‘to see some memories’. after 10 minutes of walking you noticed the beach, it was the same one you came to with your friends, the one where you watched the sunset together, when you were oblivious to the others feelings. you talked and laughed about how oblivious you both were,
‘i kinda knew it was you, i think, i don’t know it’s fuckin weird.. i saw you and i just, knew?’
your heart did backflips at his words, ‘when i first saw you, at the first day of UA, you caught my eye maybe it was the pretty red eyes or the angry face-’
‘I DONT HAVE AN ANGRY FACE’ even his anger made you fall for him.
you’re down bad, you both are.
after your walk along the beach you talked more and walked until you realise it had been hours and you should be getting back to the dorms, somehow this entire time you hadn’t touched hands, it’s not that you didn’t want to you were just so immersed in talking to him it felt like you could talk to him forever.
as you got back to the dorms you stood outside the door and edged closer to him, his eyes sparkled just like they did that day, he entwined his hands with yours.
but instead of feeling the spark you felt a jolt, like a pain and you both pushed apart like magnets.
‘wait.. What, no this isn’t happening i held you this morning, what fucking changed’ he looked at you hurt and in shock, you couldnt breath, it was happening, the one you love but never be able to touch.
‘y/n, don’t fucking cry i’m here, i’m still here’.
‘but you’re not, it’s like we have an invisible box around each other you’ll never be able to hold me, or kiss me’ it was like you couldn’t feel anything but you felt everything at the same time.
‘there’s gotta be a reason, i held you fucking hours ago y/n, maybe it’s that fuckers quirk’
‘bakugou this is what happened to my aunt and uncle, they were fine for the first couple hours until i-it happened’
‘you deserve someone you can hold’
‘but i want you, you’re my fucking soulmate don’t be stupid’
‘you cant even fucking touch me bakugou’
‘call me blasty again.’
‘what?’
‘please’
his eyes were filling with tears, threatening to spill.
‘bakugou, i’m sorry, i love you’
‘then we’ll make this work’
‘we can’t blasty, you know we can’t’
A/N :
🕴i am very sorry for the pain i have caused i made myself cry

Tips for not ruining your trip to Greece
Coronavirus and Medical care
First of all, if you can, it’s better to postpone your trip to Greece for another year. (For the year 2021). Sorry to start my post like this but let me explain. It’s likely you have another corona variant than the locals and if you infect them, their vaccination will be for nothing and they will have to pass more months of a super strict, borderline fascist lockdown. Also... you might be infected with another variant. If you MUST come, please wear a mask at all times and keep distances! (The same goes for Greeks who want to visit other countries).
Tourism is great but too many tourists will get the country back to square one pandemic-wise. If our healthcare system gets overloaded, a tourist won’t get sufficient healthcare either if something happens to them! I mean, our healthcare system is still overloaded due to corona patients so... I don’t know if it’s a good move to come here right now. In case of emergency, I am not sure if you will receive fast or proper care.
Generally, it’s good to know some stuff in Greek about your condition because half of Greece doesn’t speak English. Doctors are likely to understand the condition in English (because most of English health words come from Greece) but I’d say be prepared for good measure. Write your allergens and conditions in Greek on a paper in your wallet and hand it to someone if you need them to know. Learn important words such as “medicine“, “sick“, “It hurts” etc. (or have them written down somewhere. The important thing is that you can say them or show them to Greeks).
You can ask me if you can’t find the translation of some phrases and don’t how you pronounce them. Avoid the Erasmian pronunciation. It was made so foreigners can learn Greek easier, but it sounds alien to Greeks and it’s not likely it’ll help you.
Protection from the elements
I don’t understand how half the globe thinks we are a tropical place or a dessert and then they don’t prepare at all for a tropical place or a dessert when they come here in Summer xD At least being over-prepared would help! So...
Don’t come in Summer??? Yes, I know, it sounds stupid but you really don’t have to come in the peak of tourist season. Coming early May, June, September and October (where the sea is still warm) will get you a good tourist experience with less crowds and heat. If you are disabled and/or easily overwhelmed, avoiding the peak season will probably do you good. You can come any month really. We have different places for different seasons. All it takes is five minutes of googling.
If you come from a less sunny place (no matter your skin color) make sure to always wear more sunscreen than usual!! If the sun is up, always wear sunscreen when going outside - don’t forget your face and nape!!
Avoid going out at 12:00-16:00 and don’t stay under the sun too long! If you catch yourself being outside the hours 12:00-16:00 GET INSIDE no matter how alluring the sea or the pool looks. A sunstroke can rob you of 2-3 days of fun and waste your money.
If you are light skinned, red skin indicates your skin is hurt. (You’d be surprised to learn how many people don’t get it). Cover the red part and don’t continue going out in the sun for long. The rest of your skin is going to become red and peel soon if you don’t take care. If you are out, have the red part very well covered! Moisturizing creams help red skin a lot.
Wear a hat, it only helps! (it can make a small difference when it comes to sunstroke) Also, it’s better to *cover* your skin to protect it from intense sunlight! (no matter your skin color) Don’t be fooled by the heat and start going around in your swimwear for hours!
Swimming doesn’t protect you from the sun! The water reflects the sunlight and you can get even more damage! (Usually people have half of the body out of the water and that’s where the light hits).
When the light starts getting quite low prepare for mosquitos. Mosquito repellent sprays, creams and candles, as well as mosquito nets on the doors and windows, are your friends! Avoid getting near to bodies of sweet water.
Drink lots of water frequently! Take many bottles with you in a bag, I am not joking. Observe your urine to see if it’s darker than usual - if it is, then you need to hydrate more, no matter what you feel you are doing. Don’t drink *frozen* water (just mildly cold, “δροσερό”). Frozen water is not as refreshing and helpful as you think. It can also hurt your neck and lungs if they get exposed to frozen water constantly and make them irritated and swollen. (Lungs get cold because of the water going down near them. It’s rare, but it happens)
Make sure your alcoholic drinks are safe! Ask the locals if any place is notorious for serving adulterated alcoholic drinks and better avoid getting cheap alcohol from the kiosk (unless the kiosk has a stock of a reasonably priced sealed bottles of a certain brand you trust. But then again... still be hesitant).
For your wallet health
Do all the above to avoid sunstrokes and dehydration or say goodbye to your free days and money :P
Exchange homes with a Greek for a month. There are some programs which do that. If you are that type of person, this solution might work for you. You even can stay with your Greek friends for some days, if that’s possible for them.
You don’t have to go to an island. We have plenty of places that are just as gorgeous and more merciful to your wallet. If you want to go to an island, there are some cheaper ones. And, even though each island has a unique history, lots of islands have similar environment and aesthetics.
Avoid tourist traps (trust me, you’ll be attracted to them, even Greeks get attracted there and then regret it :p) and search the area for other restaurants before sitting somewhere. For cheap but qualitative food use the supermarkets, your local bakery and cooked meal restaurants. (Try ordering from sites like efood.gr and deliveras.gr)
For souvenirs spend money on something that you can’t get in your country. Don’t get a cactus souvenir on a plain pot and say “I got that from Greece” because it won’t show and nobody will care xD Buy something more... obvious. (Ok I don’t mean you have to buy a shirt that says “GREECE”, something more subtle, if you like :p)
You can probably find the same souvenir for cheaper in another less popular tourist area (or even in the shop ten meters down the road!).

The Anotherholic novel has quite some tidbits of randomness that I sadly haven’t seen anyone commenting so here I go (And keep in mind I don’t know how much you can rely on this one as it was written by someone other than CLAMP? But it seems they were involved.) :
Yuuko mentions ‘English gentlemen are the most honorable ones out there, they’d never be up to anything suspicious’ which is funny considering the one British guy she’s shown to know is precisely the opposite.
She’s also apparently really good at breaking codes- not magically, either. There is also something to how she’s apparently a really fast texter but in ‘Rou’ Watanuki says pressing the keys gets on his nerves, like- it’s funny the senior of them is better with tech than the junior.
She’s CONSTANTLY MAKING PUNS (They’re untranslatable most of the time but still.) much to Watanuki’s chagrin. You don’t understand, Yuuko making silly puns that make Watanuki want to murder is one of my favorite headcanons.
Watanuki can sense when people are having rude thoughts about him. It’s for comedic effect, I think but there ARE some hints to his sealed powers being still present in aspects where they’re there to warn him of things that could be bad for him, so it may be part of that (Which makes the whole thing with Himawari so much more WORSE.)
Going back to the rude thoughts- he usually pins it on either Yuuko or Doumeki.
Apparently, at one point Watanuki lost all of what he’d fared in Yuuko’s shop thanks to his big mouth- he made a gamble that if shiritori ever saved his life, he’d happily give away what he’d earned thus far.
Yuuko keeps calling him ‘My Watanuki’. (Not sure if it’s a different translation from the ‘Our Watanuki’ used in the manga to imply his ‘Belonging’ to the shop, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t fucking melt.)
She also calls him ‘My adorable Watanuki’ but I’m not sure how serious she’s being there.
The single best exchange between them, hands down: ‘Now you’re starting to scare me.’ ‘I exist to scare you’.
There’s this joke I’m not sure I understand where she says two times in a row that she ‘Won’t give him a raise’, but the second time ‘Raise’ is in italics and my perv ass mind immediately went to the gutter. Looking up the word for ‘Raise’ and whether it had alternate meanings didn’t help much as it apparently has a ton, ranging from ‘To give someone an updo’ to ‘To bear a child’ going through ‘To fry’. In any case it seems like she’s implying something improper. Watanuki’s reaction being that he’s uncomfortable she’s making it sound ‘Real’ makes me lean towards that even more.
Yuuko owns a ten-gallon hat... and wears it indoors. To lay around on her sofa.
Apparently, the reason she smart-mouths him so much is she doesn’t want him to get a big head- which if we consider how powerful he’ll become in the future, is not entirely a bad call.
Another exchange ‘If I am forced to eat something besides flowing somen today, I may well die.’ ‘Glad to hear it.’ Kid. KID. I don’t know if the writer knew back then where this was going but oof those words are gonna haunt you.
Watanuki vowed to himself never to become like her at some point. I can’t tell if it’s more sad or funny.
The ‘Aerosol’ chapter of the novel is where the thing about his dislike of Doumeki on first sight being because the spirits were influencing his mood and keeping him away from the one thing that could help him draw them away came from. I’d seen that mentioned by fans before but wasn’t sure where it had come from. Though in terms of his character and furthermore the ‘Curse’ placed on him by Fei Wong , it made sense for Watanuki to reject someone that might save him and be attracted to someone that might kill him instead, so I accepted it.
There’s also a thing about how his beef with Doumeki is ‘He has what Watanuki wants and doesn’t have what Watanuki doesn’t want.’ but that one sounds like he’s just rationalized the visceral reaction.
‘Had he ever felt that keenly about anyone? He had good friends, and he had a family. He had a girl he liked. But were his feelings for them so powerful that he would make them into ghosts if they died? He might have eyes that could see spirits. But that did not mean they could see who was important to him.’ OK nevermind the writer KNEW.
Add ‘You think I’d be involved in anything GOOD?’ to the golden Yuuko quotes list.
Also apparently Watanuki thinks if he were to stop coming to the shop she’d starve. She does make a comment to that effect earlier on so he’s not entirely being sarcastic.
For a moment there, Watanuki thinks he’s paid enough to be able to stop working for Yuuko and just like in my wildest fanfiction dreams, he’s not happy. He gets sad that he’s never going to see her again and that he couldn’t even get to thank her, feed her one last time and say goodbye properly and can you tell I’m dead? ‘cause I am.
In the same instance, he finds he no longer finds Doumeki repellent and getting to know him better sounds like ‘A dandy idea’. Which I guess is because this seems to be timed BEFORE the ghost lady that made him sick and they aren’t really all that close just yet. Otherwise I think he’d try to stick to status quo a bit more.
The fact that he sees spirits bothers and terrifies Watanuki not because of the spirits themselves but because it makes him different from everyone else and he DESPERATELY wants to feel he belongs. Am I crying? Yes.
Around the end, it seems to also be the first instance where Watanuki asks Yuuko if there is any wish he wants him to grant for her. Followed by her asking jokingly (Or not?) if this is his first step in a campaign to take the shop from her?. Um. Ouch.
Also, Yuuko hints at Watanuki’s wish of losing the ability to see spirits ultimately not making him happy if it’s granted. Which we now know is probably right.

5e Rell, the Iron Maiden build (League of Legends)
(Artwork made for Riot Games.)
I SHOULD BE MAKING AKALI RIGHT NOW :))))))
I did a coinflip with Rell: it was either her or Akali and she ended up winning. I’m honestly super hyped for Rell which is odd because I don’t really play tank supports. I find Leona and Nautilus boring as sin, though I do enjoy Galio and Maokai on occasion. I guess I’ve just been playing in top lane a lot more and I want a big bulky tank who I can dive into teamfights with as a support.
Also the memes for this champ are freaking golden.
But Rell presents a very unique kit that has a lot of potential in D&D. Basically I get to make a character other than Nunu & Willump who rides a mount and I get to stick everything I can remotely justify as being Ferromancy onto this character.
GOALS
Run ‘em all down - Rell is the third champ to have a mount. Aren’t horses just the best?
We fight together - Your outside may be cold but connecting to people is how you move on from trauma... or use that trauma for a massive stun in a teamfight.
I’ll bust you down to scrap! - Rell’s quirk is Ferromancy, the magic of manipulating metal, most specifically through magnetism. Fucking magnets; how do they work?
RACE
Rell is a human... but we can’t always go for Variant Human, so let’s spice it up a bit! She may not have divine blood but I’m sure someone at the academy had healing magic. So since she’s a support with eyes aglow with energy why not go for an Aasimar? More specifically a Scourge Aasimar. Your Charisma increases by 2 and your Constitution increases by 1.
Your glyphs give you a big mix of magic from your friends back at the academy: Darkvision for darkvision, Celestial Resistance for resistance to necrotic and radiant damage, Light Bearer for the Light cantrip, and Healing Hands for a bit of healing magic. Your Scourge subrace also gives you Radiant Consumption at level 3, which I’ll cover when you get there.
If you’re set on playing a human: A Variant Human (+1 CON, +1 STR) with either the Mounted Combatant feat or Heavy Armor Master feat would make sense. There are other feats to consider but these would be the most in-character for Rell.
ABILITITY SCORES
15; STRENGTH - Iron stands eternal, and iron is heavy.
14; CHARISMA - You may be a grouchy teenager, and you may also be incredibly awkward when hitting on people, but Charisma is considered as “inner strength” in 5e. You’ve certainly got plenty of that!
13; CONSTITUTION - You are a tank after all, and with the +1 from our race that equals a 14 for a nice boost to HP.
12; DEXTERITY - As heavy as iron is you were trained for peak physical condition. DEX is tied to many things, notably Initiative which is very important for a frontliner.
10; INTELLIGENCE - You went to an academy, but it was a Noxian war academy. Still it’s possible that you got some history lessons.
8; WISDOM - You’re a hothead in both the metaphorical and literal sense. You think asking questions is on the mind of a teenager who’s angry with the world?
BACKGROUND
There’s a lot of backgrounds that would fit Rell, though unfortunately nothing edgy enough like “Test Subject Turned Human Superweapon.” But considering your lifestyle of roaming the Noxian countryside Outlander is probably pretty accurate. You get proficiency in Athletics and Survival and while you’d normally get a Musical Instrument I’d actually suggest you grab Smith’s Tools instead because... yeah duh. You can also learn a Language of your choice so pick whatever you think would constitute Noxian.
Your Wanderer background feature will make sure you survive and thrive on the Noxian countryside. You always remember the general layout of the land, and you can find food and fresh water for yourself and up to five other people each day. And you can even rip some iron out of the earth to make them bowls and cups to eat and drink with!
(Concept art by Riot Games)
THE BUILD
LEVEL 1 - PALADIN 1
Starting off as a Paladin because even if proficiency in Wisdom saves is weird we need the Heavy Armor proficiency because... yeah duh. Speaking of proficiencies take Intimidation because you’re a murder-hungry metalmancer, and I dunno Medicine would make sense since you’re a support and all.
You also get Divine Sense, as the magic in your veins helps you detect celestials, fiends, or undead. And because you’re a support you can use Shattering Strike to heal thanks to Lay on Hands. I could explain both these abilities in detail, but I’m also an angry teenager who’s sick of explaining abilities with insanely long descriptions that you can read for yourself.
LEVEL 2 - PALADIN 2
Second level Paladins get their Fighting Style, and of course for a tank support Defense would be best for more AC. You also get some Ferromancy Spellcasting. (Well technically Divine spellcasting but don’t tell anyone that.) You can prepare a number of Paladin spells equal to your Charisma modifier plus half your Paladin level:
To sharpen your lace (or more realistically pike) a little more Divine Favor will make every blow hurt just a little bit more.
Heroism will help in times of strife to let your anger take over any fear.
To manipulate armor to block some more blows Shield of Faith will increase the target’s AC for a time.
To stun with Attract and Repel Thunderous Smite will do damage and knock enemies prone, making them easier to hit and forcing them to spend time getting up.
But of course you can just as easily ignore all of that in favor of Divine Smite, channeling all your magic and hatred into a burst of Radiant damage on your weapon attacks. Particularly effective against undead!
On Rell’s weapon: I’d suggest a Pike over a Lance because a d12 isn’t worth Disadvantage in melee range, even if you will eventually be performing mounted combat. Feel free to have a lance as backup for when you do start riding a horse.
LEVEL 3 - PALADIN 3
At third level you can choose your Sacred Oath, and I know how much you hate Noxus but Oath of the Crown actually has some pretty good abilities for our purposes. Yup of all the champions to break out the Sword Coast Adventurer’s Guide for it’s Rell.
You get two Channel Divinity options: Champion Challenge makes enemies unable to move more than 30 feet away from you for a Magnetic Overload, and Turn the Tide will heal everyone of your choice for a d6 plus your Charisma (if they’re below half health) for some Redemption saves.
But both of these Channel Divinities are admittedly situational, so if your DM allows Tasha’s rulings then Harness Divine Power will also let you recover a first level spell slot. Speaking of spells as a Crown Paladin you get Command to twist your enemy’s armor to your whim, and Compelled Duel for a single-target Concentration version of Champion Challenge.
And as a Scourge Aasimar you get now get Radiant Consumption. As an action you can unleash the magic within you, glowing violently and doing Radiant damage equal to half your level to everyone around you. Additionally, once on each of your turns you can deal extra radiant damage when you damage an enemy with an attack or a spell. The extra radiant damage equals your level. You can only go all out just once per long rest, so if your ever wonder why anime protagonists keep their ultimate attack until the end of the fight: it burns you so much you can only use it once.
LEVEL 4 - PALADIN 4
4th level means another Ability Score Improvement but instead we’re going to be taking a Feat. You’re probably thinking we’re going for Mounted Combatant, right?
WRONG! We’re taking Heavy Armor Master, because you can literally control your armor to make it stronger! Your Strength increases by 1 and any damage you take from non-magic weapons is reduced by 3!
You can also prepare another spell, but we’ll wait for...
(Concept art by Riot Games)
LEVEL 5 - PALADIN 5
5th level time for Extra Attack. Two attacks in a turn to pretend you’re the ADC!
Also time for HONSE! Find Steed lets you summon a Warhorse, and others but a Warhorse is probably the most accurate representation of your mount. The steed is considered a celestial, fey, or fiend (your choice), and its intelligence is set to 6. It can also understand one language you can speak, which is good because you can speak to it telepathically.
You can make any spell that only targets you also target your steed, and when it drops to 0 hit points, it disappears, leaving behind no physical form. You can dismiss your steed at any time as an action, causing it to disappear. In either case, casting this spell again summons the same steed, restored to its hit point maximum.
And thanks to your subclass you also learn Warding Bond to bond with an ally, and Zone of Truth to get the Black Rose to admit to what they did. Technically speaking you can’t put a ring on your horse, but as a DM I’d probably allow you to make a 50 gp platinum horse shoe to give the honse a Warding Bond.
LEVEL 6 - PALADIN 6
6th level Paladins get Aura of Protection. You and everyone within 10 feet of you gets a bonus to saving throws equal to your Charisma modifier, because iron stands eternal and so does teenage angst.
You can also prepare another spell like Aid to steel your party’s resolve for any danger. Metal pun unintended.
LEVEL 7 - PALADIN 7
Here’s why we aren’t taking Mounted Combatant. 7th level Crown Paladins get Divine Allegiance, allowing you to use your reaction to take damage for a creature within 5 feet of you. They take no damage, but the damage you take can’t be reduced or prevented in any way.
Sure a 5 foot aura is just objectively worse than the Redemption Paladin’s 10 foot Aura of the Guardian that does literally the exact same thing (pro tip: ask your DM to just increase the range of the aura), but you know what’s always within 5 feet of you? Your horse. So feel free to take hits for your trusty mount. And if an ally is nearby you should probably tank for them too.
LEVEL 8 - PALADIN 8
8th level means an Ability Score Improvement. We’re still riding around in big bulky armor so more Strength to carry that armor would be nice.
You can also prepare another spell like Lesser Restoration for some Tenacity.
(Concept art by Riot Games)
LEVEL 9 - BARD 1
How’s this for a surprise? Multiclassing into Bard gives you proficiency in one skill, and one musical instrument. Take Animal Handling because you literally summon a horse for yourself, and a Noxian War Drum.
Bards get Bardic Inspiration: d6s equal to your Charisma modifier to help support your allies. They can add the d6 to an ability check, attack roll, or saving throw they make. Buff up their armor, or weaken the enemy’s armor!
But of course as a Bard you get more Spellcasting! Check page whatever-it-is for how multiclassing works. You get two cantrips from the Bard list: Mage Hand will let you magnetize an object closer to you, and Vicious Mockery will let you yell angrily at the enemy not to hurt your friends.
You can also learn 4 spells from the Bard list: you are a support so you can take Cure Wounds for some Summoner: Heal. Disguise Self will help you if Noxian police are looking for you. And both Earth Tremor and Thunderwave will help you manipulate the metal beneath your enemies’ feet and sunder the ground beneath them.
LEVEL 10 - BARD 2
You have a little bit of everything in your glyphs which means Jack of All Trades will always be able to help you. You can also recuperate after a long night on the Noxian countryside thanks to Song of Rest.
You can also learn another spell but we will wait for...
LEVEL 11 - BARD 3
Third level Bards can choose their Bardic College and you did go to the academy to become a weapon after all. College of Valor Bards are instruments of war with Combat Inspiration, letting allies use their Bardic Inspiration to hurt more with their swords or defend themselves better with their armor. “Fight like you mean it. Die for something that matters!” You do also get some skill proficiencies but... you already had them.
You do get Expertise in two skills however! Intimidation comes naturally to a living weapon, and even though it’s technically not a living animal in LoL you still need Animal Handling for your mount from Find Steed.
And finally you can learn spells. If you want the honest truth the only reason we took Bard levels is for Heat Metal, the obligatory Ferromancy spell. But you can also grab Hold Person to lock a foe’s armor in place.
LEVEL 12 - BARD 4
4th level means an Ability Score Improvement, and since we’re now investing in the spellcasting side of things I’d recommend some Charisma to make that better. Remember that more Charisma does mean more Paladin spells, so be sure to hop back there to prepare more.
Because I’m not going to tell you what to prepare, as we need to concentrate on your new cantrip! You are the ferromancer, so Mending is kinda obligatory. You can also learn another spell but again we shall wait for...
LEVEL 13 - BARD 5
5th level Bards get Font of Inspiration, letting their Bardic Inspiration come back on a Short Rest. Which is good, because your Bardic Inspiration increases to a d8!
You can also learn third level spells now which means we can finally take Mass Healing Word to further our support role, and Hypnotic Pattern for a massive team-wide stun.
(Artwork by @Cookie3v3 on Twitter)
LEVEL 14 - SORCERER 1
You were born with magic after all, so I’d have to go into Sorcerer at some point. It’s just that the other levels were more important, and this kinda ends up being more for flavor than anything. Regardless you get your subclass at level 1 as a Sorcerer and hey I actually get to use the Clockwork Soul for a Ferromancer. You can Restore Balance at level 1, denying Advantage or Disadvantage and turn it into a straight roll.
Oh and hey: more Spellcasting! But this time with a side of Clockwork Magic for Abjuration or Transmutation spells. Since both the spells you’d normally get a little iffy I’d suggest replacing them with both Absorb Elements and Shield for some Magic Resistance and Armor.
You also get four cantrips and two leveled spells. Fire Bolt lets you fling a piece of molten metal at the enemy, because you may as well have a ranged weapon. For some basic metal sundering from the ground Mold Earth will let you manipulate small pockets of iron in the soil. Message will let you coordinate with your teammates without yelling everything in /all. And because you’ve got a ridiculous amount of cantrips you may as well grab Prestidigitation for basic magic manipulation.
For your leveled spells Magic Missile will let you fling metal with the utmost precision, and Burning Hands for burning metal addressed to “whom it may concern.”
LEVEL 15 - SORCERER 2
Second level Sorcerers get a Font of Magic. You get 2 Sorcery Points that can be converted into spell slots... for now. So basically you get another first level spell slot!
LEVEL 16 - SORCERER 3
3rd level Sorcerers get their Metamagic. These are features that use your Sorcery points to augment your spells: to make sure that no one lives to hide the tale of the academy Heightened Spell will give an enemy disadvantage on their first saving throw against one of your spells. Alternatively if you want to both stab and smash Quickened Spell will let you cast a spell as a Bonus Action, to really maximize your APM.
You also get more Clockwork Magic, but since you already have both Aid and Lesser Restoration I’d instead suggest taking Levitate for some reverse-magnetism, and a little spell from Elemental Evil called Maximilian’s Earthen Grasp.
If your opponent doesn’t know how magnets work then Blur can really mess with their ability to hit you. And you know I haven’t taken Flash yet so... Misty Step!
LEVEL 17 - SORCERER 4
Fourth level Sorcerers get an Ability Score Improvement and well we did invest in 3 different spellcasters, so increasing that spellcasting with more Charisma would probably be smart. Remember that more Charisma means more Paladin spells! As well as a stronger Paladin aura and more Bardic Inspiration.
You also get another spell known and honestly there are a lot of great ones at second level of Sorcerer but Shatter is the best for ripping through metal. You also get another cantrip because I guess Sorcerers don’t have enough cantrips: if you get surrounded you can sunder the ground as if swords were bursting around you... in a Sword Burst... yeah...

LEVEL 18 - SORCERER 5
5th level Sorcerers get third level spells and I’d hate to admit it but both Dispel Magic and Protection from Energy from Clockwork Magic do make sense for Rell.
But you know what we don’t have enough of? Ground-based attacks. So take Erupting Earth, because your magic is Ferromancy. Not Fireballs or Haste, both of which would probably honestly be stronger. Honestly feel free to drop some of your early Sorcerer spells, because you’ve got more than enough spell slots for the big stuff.
LEVEL 19 - SORCERER 6
6th level Clockwork Soul Sorcerers get the feature we kinda went into this subclass for: Bastion of Law. As an action, you can spend 1 to 5 sorcery points to create a magical ward around yourself or another creature within 30 feet.
The warded creature gets a number of d8s equal to the number of sorcery points spent to create it. When the warded creature takes damage, it can expend any number of those dice to roll them and reduce the damage taken by the total rolled on those dice. This is going to be one of your main supportive features... atop of all your other “main supportive features.”
Oh and you’d get more spells but I kinda want...
LEVEL 20 - SORCERER 7
7th level Sorcerers can learn 4th spells like Sickening Radiance for some good old-fashioned war crimes, and Fire Shield which was added to the Sorcerer spell list thanks to Tasha’s! Clockwork Magic also lets you weaponize your horse with Summon Construct, but I’d suggest grabbing Banishment as your other spell to lock the weak away like they did to the Null.
FINAL BUILD
PROS
Fighting together? Guess it's not too bad - You’ve got plenty of good assists. Bardic Inspiration and Bastion of Law shields, and a big pile of spells to help the team.
Nothing gets in; no one gets out - Turns out that manipulating metal means very little can get at you. Strong AC, very good range with Reach to play keep-away in melee and a horse to run around, and of course Aura of Protection to turn your weakest save into a +5! And decent HP to boot!
This is who I am now - It wasn’t my intention when making the character but... turns out Jack of All Trades does in fact make you a jack of all trades. Decent skill checks all around and a crazy good Intimidation check means that while you maybe won’t be the first choice you’ll always be up for the task.
CONS
“Excellence is measured in sacrifice”... or whatever - Three way multiclassing gives you a lot, but not a whole lot of it. Your spell slots go all the way up to 8th level but your best spells max out at 4th level. Smites exist and you can always melt down your spell slots, but perhaps it would’ve been smarter to lessen the number of classes and get more value out of what you have.
That's... that's cool... I'm cool... - Ever heard of the concept known as “choice paralysis?” With so many spells to choose on top of subclass features that take your actions it can be hard to pick what’s right in every scenario. Woes of playing support, where you need to think of everything at once. Can’t just run in and stab.
The helpless fight; the hardened live - Jack of All Trades is good for skill checks... not for combat. You can fight, heal, and sling spells decently but don’t really stand out in any particular area. You’ve got a hundred different tools to deal with the rabble but when your friends go All Out you’ll likely be stuck getting assists.
But you’ve got all a girl could ever ask for: a cute pony and enough armor to survive a ballistic missile. You were built to be a weapon and a damn good weapon you are: as sharp as you are sturdy, and as versatile as you are resourceful. Who cares if you’re a little rough around the edges? You’re sixteen! You’ve got your whole life ahead of you! Minus the lingering trauma of being tortured by your own mother... Eh. Who doesn’t have a tragic backstory nowadays?
