I've got some good news - I've finished tallying up the results of the favourite anime survey and can now, finally, reveal what Tumblr's favourite anime actually are. Hey can you do like a fluff oneshot for Jean where like reader and Jean were childhood best friends and then Jean went to the military promising her that he'd come back for her after he had became a military police but now it's been 6 years and they're both 19 and Jean comes back from the war between Hell and Heaven (the rumbling war) and then it's like fluff between them.

This was the reason you liked Jean. When he decided to do something, he would do it with all his heart, and nothing and no one could stop him. Jean's mother was sobbing, wiping her tears on a pink handkerchief as Jean was waiting for the roll call to board the boat to the training camp. After the titan attack, Jean wanted to join the military police for a better life inside Wall Sheena. Watching the gleam in his eyes when he told you he had signed up for the army, you knew he had set his heart on it. You could only give him your blessings.

You pulled the hem of his shirt. Jean turned his body half way and grinned at you. "I'm going to be a hero, Y/N," Jean saluted with his fist on his chest, "just wait and see. I will be a military police and we will live inside Wall Sheena."

You bit the inside of your lower lip even though you had so many things to say, but in the end you whispered, "I would rather you stay." You swallowed. "We can get a job in the next district, work our way into that wall."

Jean turned around fully and looked at you face to face. "I want to make it for us. My mom and you. I promised your mother to take care of you, and I will do that."

"Jean Kirstein!"

"Here!" Jean raised his hand to the commander in front. "Got to go now, Y/N. Take care of my mom." He waved to you and his mom and boarded the ship. You held onto his crying mother until the ship sailed away.

Two years later, when Jean was to graduate from the Training Corps and go into Military Police, you received a letter from Jean that he had chosen the Survey Corps instead. His mother broke down into loud sobs because she feared for his safety. You felt your heart broken as it meant he wouldn't come back to you. And he might never. In his letter, he did not mention about the promise he made to you. You knew he had forgotten about moving into Wall Sheena.

So you took up his promise and worked two jobs, working in the post office in the morning and printing newspaper at the press at night. You worked so hard your fingers were permanently black. You wanted to save up enough to afford a room in Wall Sheena, at least for Jean's mom and you, and maybe Jean too.

Then the Battle of Heaven and Earth started without warnings and ended messily. The Founding Titan's power was awakened and all the titans in the wall awoke and turned everything in their path into dirt. You volunteered as a medic, going through hundred and thousands of survivors and victims just to ensure Jean wasn't one of them who did not make it. Blood only looked like ink on your blackened fingers and you worked through the days.

It was hard to look up and not see the walls. You felt exposed to the outside world, extra helpless knowing Jean wasn't by your side.

One hot afternoon, you were worn out pulling broken limbs from piles of rubble, your eyes blurry and head heavy. You dragged your tired body under an umbrella set out nearby as a rest stop and dropped onto the ground. You were breathing through your mouth and you felt light headed.

"Drink up," someone passed you a bottle.

Without looking, you took the bottle and swallowed the water. "Thank you."

"No, thank you," the voice said. You found the voice familiar and you turned around. What you saw made you froze.

The man in front of you had long hair, scars around his face but eyes still gleamed like the day he left. His face had gotten longer and he had short beard on his chin, but it was him.

You blinked a few times. Jean gave you a small smile. "Hi, Y/N."

"Je-Jean?" You sat up straight, hands trembling as you reached out to his face. "Is that you?"

Jean let out a short laugh and grabbed your hands in his, "yes, Y/N. I'm home now."

Tears streamed down your face as you felt his touch. He was real and he came back. You pulled him into a hug, grabbing his shirt in your fist fearing that something might take him away again if you didn't. Jean held you back tight. You felt his arm snaked around your back and his large palms were holding you tight on your shoulder and waist.

"Sorry it took me so long," Jean rubbed your back, "thanks for waiting."

You pulled away and stared at him, "yea, smart-ass. There's no more Wall Sheena to move into now." You both laughed.

6 months later, the island was rebuilding fast with new technologies. Jean, now a captain of the Survey Corps, bought a house in the middle of the city. He visited every other week during the weekends. He had been busy but he always made time for you and his mother. Sometimes you would pick him up from the military camp. You loved seeing him jogging toward you, his face lit up with a smile as he approached.

If he were to travel, he would bring souvenirs for you. Hats from other cities, cakes and biscuits or postcards. And one day, Jean got you a necklace.

He cleared his throat, "Y/N, wo-would you be my lover?"

You said yes and he kissed you on your lips, slow and deep.

When you broke the kiss, arms still around each other, Jean whispered, "I should have done this earlier."

Theory

Eren wants to rid the world of the titans for good.

All the way back to the beginning, Eren has had the goal of wiping out the titans. With the new chapter just released, I believe I have enough evidence to make a good claim toward my theory.

Eren Yeager currently holds the founding titan, it’s power can only be activated with a titan of royal blood (Zeke). Zeke believes that Eldia can be saved by hindering their ability to be born, however, this has gone against eren’s ideology from the beginning. He believes every life deserves to be lived out.

The founding titan has the ability to control all other titans, including the 8 because it’s the birth place of them. It’s most likely the founding can also make new titans and take them away.

I believe that Eren will come into contact with Zeke, but will somehow wipe the other 8 titans off the face of the earth, leaving Zeke without an ability to regenerate, thus killing him for good, which may have been against eren’s plan, but there was no way to predict something like that would happen.

With this, Eren would turn himself over to Marley to be executed, freeing eldia as Marley would realize that they both had a common enemy, and that Eren was the sole cause of the attack on Liberio.

Obviously, Yelena would go apeshit over this, most likely leading to another death sentence for treason against Marley, and possibly the other volunteers.

In this scenario, everyone wins and no one really gets a bad outcome from this.

Mikasa could move to the east or stay on the island with her real friends, Armin would be able to live a full life without the 13 year death sentence, the 104 would be Able to relax for once and settle down. Nicolo, falco, Gabi, and the other Marley prisoners would be sent back to their country. Levi and Hange, assuming they survived, would probably live the rest of their lives in the care of historia’s orphanage, assuming that was where they were heading. Reiner, pieck, Porcoand possibly Annie would finally get to go home and live full lives without the burden of having to die. If Zeke truly dies, he won’t be able to turn anyone into titans, and historia will be the last person on the planet with royal blood. If Zeke doesn’t die, I assume he would go back to Marley to pay for his crimes and die anyway

AOT MANGA SPOILERS CH 118/ EPISODE 77

I’m obsessed with Gabi’s growth, she’s such a great character!

And Falco here is so fricking sweet and childish but appropriately so.

Zeke’s really out here in chapter 118 hurling rocks at his former comrades who never did anything to him, fully with the intent to kill.  And then he gives his fake-ass frowny face when he thinks Pieck has bought it, before promptly continuing on with his plan.  Hate this guy.  His false-sympathy might be his most disgusting trait.  He does the same shit in the upcoming chapter, I know, when he acts like it hurts him to turn Falco into a Titan and kill Colt in the process, two children, but goes ahead and does it anyway, all for his “plan to save humanity”.  What a joke.  I also noticed how Zeke, as he’s talking to Eren through his internal monologue, says “Just a little more, and our dream will come true.”.  I said before that Zeke sees Eren as just an extension of himself, can only perceive Eren through the lens of his own experiences and being, serving as an affirmation of his own specialness, because only the two of them, in what he assumes are their shared experiences, are capable of “understanding” what needs to be done to save the world.  It’s pure ego with this guy.  Pure narcissism.  

Also, I pointed out in one of my last posts how awful it is, that Eren didn’t seem at all bothered or concerned with what would happen to Hange or Levi in this grand scheme of his, fully aware of Zeke’s plan to escape by turning the soldiers watching Zeke into Titans so he could meet him at the wall, Zeke fully intending for Levi to be killed by those same soldiers.  And if that didn’t work, Eren also knew Floch and his men were heading, with Hange, to where Levi was, doubtless with the intent to kill him and Hange both, knowing Levi would never give Zeke over willingly.  Jean points this out, asking how it is Zeke is here, now, knowing Levi would never just give him up.  Jean shows concern here for both Hange and Levi, obviously caring and upset at the notion that either of them might have been killed, and rightfully so, since they’ve all formed a deep bond with each other.  It really is incredibly twisted that Eren didn’t seem to care about either of them, and Levi in particular, who was Eren’s direct commanding officer for five solid years, saved his life numerous times, and showed him more kindness and consideration than just about any other character in the story.  This didn’t even occur to me the first time I read these chapters, but it struck me hard this time around, and it’s just incredibly sad.  More so, too, when you realize that Levi had still been planning on doing everything he could to avoid Eren being fed to someone else, like the higher-ups in the military had been planning.  That he still wanted to give Eren a chance to redeem himself and prove he hadn’t gone completely nutso.  Way to repay your friends, Eren.  I guess him and Zeke have that in common.

I'm about to trigger some of the AoT Fandom here but I don't give a fuck what so ever. So here's my biggest rant of the day regarding the ending of Attack on Titan.

DISCLAIMER: This is just my honest opinion; you have every right to disagree with me but please don't send me death threats if y'all get offended. 🙃 and NO. I'M NOT SENDING HATE ON ISAYAMA. I'M JUST EXPRESSING HOW I FEEL ABOUT THIS CHAPTER.

Also I just don't know where to start explaining but eh I'll write it out how my mind is thinking of.

Isayama did Mikasa dirty...

I'm gonna start this rant off with

Regardless if this is actually the full page chapter of the manga coming from the Korean translation but after seeing through what's going on; I'm very much pissed off on how Mikasa is written out. Like that's it? You're only going to show us that all Mikasa get is her crying over Eren's death?

Are we gonna ignore the fact that she saved everyone's asses just by killing Eren in order to stop the Rumbling? Don't you think she deserves more praise for doing so? Like how the Eldian people celebrated the Survey Corps' victory in defeating the Rumbling? Like fucking give her a medal of honor or something please 🙄

Yeah I'm glad to see Jean and Connie gets to live another day and they get to see Sasha and then she's assuring them there's no need to worry about her.

And I'm also happy to see Levi's part in succeeding and fighting for Erwin and Hange's sake including his fallen comrades. I applaud Levi just like every other Levi stan is doing right now 👏 but still...

MIKASA ACKERMAN DESERVES BETTER.

It breaks my heart to see her sad when this series is ending.

Also I wanna add on that scarf is highkey holding her back on her character development. Eren has mentioned that he hated Mikasa for being a "slave" and Mikasa didn't see it that way regardless of what Eren views the Ackerman bloodline. Even before the "MikAsA iVe aLwaYs haTeD yOu" drama; we've all seen how Mikasa grew and changed in her character development through the series and Eren is not even there most of the time why? Because the dumbass always got himself kidnapped. I understand she cares so much for Eren from childhood til adulthood and what did Eren did? Causing so much bullshit on everyone 🙃 he added so much pain on Mikasa's part. And in chapter 118 where Mikasa leaves the scarf that's honestly a big step for her to fight back against him. That's a powerful statement for me; like yes! Go kick his ass baby girl ✊🏽💁🏻‍♀️ remember Louise asked "Are you leaving the scarf behind?" Then Mikasa replied "I am". Now fast forward to chapter 138... God damn. Did she really go back without anyone knowing and take the scarf with her? It's just adding the fuel of her showing that she really is a "slave" like how Eren says. The kiss with his dead head just makes it worse for me... I'll admit I'll give her credit for being brave enough to show her love towards Eren but seriously she deserved better and sad to say she didn't get something in return from Eren other than more pain for her knowing she had to kill him and Eren asking her to forget about him. Now with the final chapter here just why? I don't know what to feel or add on at this point (if there was more to the final chapter and when there is the full English translation then I'll say otherwise).

I feel like Isayama was rushed to finish the series. There's so much unanswered questions in each character but really he honestly did Mikasa dirty in the end. I hate it. Again I'm not hating on Isayama; I applaud his hard work just not happy with how Mikasa is written out in the end...
