Hi Mom! I just watched the last episode and I wasn’t sure if that was Eren’s voice that was the first person to tell Zeke to wait before the scream. Looking back at manga ch119, I thought it was Colt who said the first “wait”. It doesn’t seem to be in line with Eren’s personality at this point in his character arc to show mercy to his enemies. Do you think this was done by MAPPA to make him appear more sympathetic?

Despite my feelings for (against?) Eren, I was fairly certain it was Eren speaking in the manga. It's one of those panels that gave me some hope for him.

No matter how monstrous Eren's behavior had been up to this point, he was still been taking some precautions to protect his friends. Remember Eren didn't know Marley would show up. He thought he'd incapacitated them temporarily. None of this was supposed to happen. In Eren's perfect world, he'd lock up his friends, he'd meet Zeke, they'd fist bump and unleash the wall titans in a fully evacuated Shiganshina. The wine drinkers would be quarantined, but if things had gone as planned, Zeke would have no reason to scream. It was supposed to be a much easier operation.

This panel was an indication that Eren wasn't entirely gone. He was doing unthinkable things, but he was aware of the human toll. Eren never wanted Zeke to scream. He didn't want the upper echelon of Paradis's military transformed, and I believe he cared about Falco to a degree. While he was wiling to accept Falco as a casualty of his actions, he didn't actively want him dead. No one would.

If anything, I think MAPPA made Zeke more sympathetic. In the manga I couldn't gauge how sincere Zeke was but the anime clearly showed him as pained in this moment.

So since Nile is probably going to be stuck as a mindless titan who will become Commander now? Way before this chapter happened I used to imagine Hitch would be Commander at some point.

I think she may become Commander. This might be a far fetched idea/hope, but it’s a feeling I’ve had as well as an imagination that i wanted to explore for a little while now.

We haven’t seen her since chapter 110. In lunarcrystal’s post she wasn’t shown in the dungeon with the others. I agree that she was probably still down by Annie’s crystal.

Before chapter 110 the last time we saw Hitch was chapter 90. Pre-timeskip Hitch was immature. She’s had 4 years to change and become a more mature person. The fact that she was down by Annie’s crystal has to be a sign that she’s changed over the years. Don’t forget Marlo’s death, too. They were both important to her.

Hitch’s potential change might be here and it would be interesting if this prediction came true.

"you don't need your head" in order for Eren to function. So there must be a plan B for sure!

Also if they expected Zeke to awake the titans why didn't they take Falco away earlier?! How would Colt think he could stop zeke like that? Ugh.

Isayama has officially last my respect. He clearly doesn't know how to write. Otherwise he wouldn't have backtracked on Gabi's "development" and kill yet ANOTHER MC. I am officially no longer a fan of AoT and I regret ever wasting my time with this series.

I haven’t been online much, but it’s been enough to know that you aren’t alone in feeling this way. To be honest, I’ve been sort of shocked at this sentiment. 

Gabi taking a shot at Eren isn’t backtracking. Her development last chapter is that she no longer believes the residents of Paradis are devils. She no longer senselessly hates or mistrusts people based solely on their nationality. But Eren is no innocent, harmless Paradisian. He’s the person who can destroy the world. Gabi is still a soldier. She’ll still protect her people. And Eren is still the enemy. Her taking the shot seemed perfectly in character to me.

I don't understand why everybody's screaming and whining about Eren in this chap. Let's be realistic here, he's the person who attacked Liberio, dragged his friends into a mess and killed thousands of innocent ppl and more importantly the authorities of the world's nations so what else did you expect to happen to him? I'm not spreading hate about him but this is the fate he's brought to himself. Don't worry, he won't die. He's the protagonist and we all know those like Zeke, Floch, and someone *side eyes Eren* don't get punished for all the irreparable shit they did whille those like Falco, Nile and Pixis are being sacrificed for others' desires. I know I know you're all gonna say this is for a good cause and I can clearly understand that, but I really don't think that'll justify his horrible actions.

Hate me all you want for all I care. I'm just stating the facts.

"Aot chapter 119: little brother and big brother" reaction

Ah ah ah, what is happening? Can someone explain to me what is in Isayama's mind right now?

I mean, this chapter was... I don't know!!! There was so much and I had to watch it so many times before I understood what is in there.

First we have Reiner that is trying to kill Eren and stop him from touching Zeke, then Falco's brother try to convince Zeke to shut up, and you can see that he is actually thinking about it. But then, he screams and everyone turns into titan!!

Everyone! Falco, Neal, Pyxis!!! Now the only ones in the battlefield are Mikasa, Armin, Jean and Conny.

And Eren is running towards his brother.

And Falco ate Porco and inherited the jaw's titan.

And his brother died.

And Reiner try to eat Eren, but Jean and Conny stop him.

And Gabi shot to Eren.

And Eren's head went off.

Ahahhahahahahahhahah, Isayama you are messing with our head, aren't you?

First of all, Mikasa saved Armin two times just in this chapter, and I have both here:

Gabi is the new Eren, while Eren is the new Reiner.

And then they fought together like the two badasse they are. And I just loved this scene when thwy are both flying and fighting the car titan!!! These two are the only thing that are keeping me alive, really!

The rest of the chapter... well, I felt so sorry when Gabi cryed because Falco died, killing his own brother in the process. Guys, I know she killed Sasha, and blew up Eren's face, but, but I mean, since she was a kid, she was told that those where all demons, that she had to kill them and she was raised in that way, and then, after she killed one, she lived with her family, she understood that they were normal people. Eren is... well, Eren destroyed her home, so now see it like this:

It's just like that, history repeated itself, but Gabi understood it, she knew about Reiner's feelings and she proved the same when those people forgave her for what she did (Sasha's parents), and saved her (Mikasa).

But I'm not saying that I totally understand her, because it was the same for Falco, who hasn't killed anyone though.

Now, what about Reiner who tryed to kill himself two times already?? Well, with this character I'm... 50/50, and I know he will be killed, so I'm not complaining too much for him.

And yeah, my baby girl is always the best: I mean, just look at her...

She is so gorgeous, strong, badass and caring!

And I have especially appreciated Armin and Mikasa's combo. They were so good, while flying and fighting Peack, or whatever her name is.

I hope we'll see Peack against Mikasa in the next one.

At first

Eren : why are we here?

Zeke : I will show you that father brainwashed you and I will save you from it. I will show you how shitty our father is!

Eren : cool

Nearing the end of the chapter.

Zeke : I see that you're loved, unlike me.

Grisha : I'm sorry Zeke.

Zeke :

Eren : okay, next room.

I'm (not) sorry. I cannot help making jokes like this. The fact that Eren knows his father's memories before zeke, makes me wonder that his calmness is fue to him finally seeing things in Grisha's perspective. It is not like he forgive everything that Grisha did, it is just he begining to process that what's done is done. No going back, all you can is going forward.

He received the titan power with that method, thus instead of wailing about it, he just move forward. Unlike zeke, he doesn't know what his dad was thinking and just looking at things in his perspective. So, he is still adamant that Grisha was at fault.

Eren imo obviously knows that Grisha also loves/cares for his first born but due to circumstances and ambition, everything comes to disaster and mold zeke into what he is. He regretted ever since, thus tried to change things with his second born. Although in the end, comes the downfall. It was inevitable I guess.

I thing that, in this "reminiscing down to the memory lane" chapter will just at the end, with Zeke try to process that Eren isn't brainwashed, he (zeke) is the same like his father... Trying to push his eradication plan and that, there is always be the third option.

Also, I like the fact that in this chapter eren mocks zeke as if saying, "sure, whatever. See if you can change my believe by make me see something that I've already seen and know".
