I love far harbor. I love the fog and the green and the pine trees. I love the creatures and how beautiful they are. I love all of the lakes and rivers and weird boundaries in the middle of the map. I love DiMA and faraday and they are in love and it makes me happy. I love the blind faith of the children of atom and the glow of the bottles and the comforting sound of the Geiger counter. I love the music, fearful and optimistic and real. I love the people of far harbor, stubborn and cold, yet also close knitted and caring . I love the campsites and the pre war remains
I love the themes of it all, the struggle between preserving nature and using it as a tourist attraction. I love the motif of loss, appearing in the very first scene all the way to the last. I love the way it adds a level of depth to everything in the commonwealth. Nick mourns for the life he had but can’t remember, yet also is afraid of not finding the answers. The sole survivor learns that, no matter how hard you try, no good deed goes unpunished. That they can’t save everyone. That hope is a blessing for the masses but a grave for the few. That the world is unpredictable and cruel, yet that is what makes it so lovely to being with.
it plays out like a noir novella, well written and painfully, heartbreakingly tragic. What is a add-on to a video game franchise re-evaluates what it means to be alive, and who we are in our own stories.
🔻After investigating the killing of an enemy prisoner at the hands of his guard, it became clear that the guard acted in a retaliatory manner, contrary to instructions, after receiving the news of the martyrdom of his two children in one of the enemy’s massacres.
🔻We stress that the incident does not represent our ethics and religious teachings in dealing with prisoners, and we will be even more firm with our instructions after the incident was repeated in two cases so far.
🔻We hold the enemy full responsibility for all the suffering and dangers to which their prisoners are exposed to as a result of its violation of all rules of humane and human interactions and their brutal genocide against our people.
Hey guys! We are heading into our last 2 days of our Mohaine National Park Make 100 project and would sure appreciate any reblogs!
We have unlocked both color variants:
And still have spots left for the limited edition rainbow one! Make 100 is a yearly kickstarter project to get artist to make 100 of something, and this year it is this large, rainbow National Park pin featuring the Sweet Fawn from our first Mohaine Kickstarter, WEIRDEER.
And we are a little less than $1500 away from every backer getting this free postcard:
Intrested in Mohaine National Park but not a pin person? You can check out the Park website, or join the Park's Patreon!
Park Ranger Power Armor from Fallout 76, recreated for New Vegas. Also added a new quest to go along with it based around the man, the myth, the creator of the Bear Proof Suit, Troy Hurtubise. I'm also well known for my hatred of Honest Hearts, so in order to get over my phobia of boring DLCs, I put all this in Zion. So for all you Graham stans, go off I suppose.
and dont fucking get me started on the war crimes committed by japan that they didn't face any charges for such as the rape of nanjing or the "comfort" women... they massacred towns and raped girls of many ages... does that excuse the racism in the pacific? no but frankly my dear, i think there's a bigger issue than the racism that you'll find in the imperial japanese army; Such as bayoneting babies, raping women every day for hours on end, and let's not even discuss their POW camps.
"Oh it would have been more satisfying if the humans had invented a technology which defeated the Martians rather than have them killed off by accident just when humanity's impotence in the face of disaster seems to be confirmed". I
To me that's just a fancy way of saying "Yeah but humans could totally handle the Martians and the writer has a duty to reassure the audience of that!"
Sir we cannot even handle climate change and I'm sorry to tell you that it's not entirely due to a lack of technological expertise
