Quick question, what kind of relationship would Athena and Kairos have? Considering that Zeus played favorites and all with them
There will be NOT quick response.
So I don't know if I'll definitely name her brother Kairos, but let's call him that for now.
What their relationship will be depends a lot on the au we're talking about, and I have a few to think about.
If in the au where Metis is already pregnant with her second child when the prophecy is told, Zeus would be a worse father to Kairos than even to Ares. But he grew up to be a good guy, Kairos tho… I doubt it. If he was able to defeat Zeus out of a desire for the throne, I think his relationship with Athena wouldn't be that good. On the other hand, in this au she didn't have to fight for every element of her life, so she's definitely more submissive, and ZEUS IS FAITHFUL TO METIS, so basically they only have each other, unless Zeus and Metis have more children. If the prophecy doesn't come at all then I think they will definitely have more children, looking at how big family Metis came from I think she would want her be like this too. Here I think Kairos would be loved by Zeus and have a good relationship with Athena, and would want the throne more because of a misunderstanding with his father than hatred. What if Metis gave birth to twins? I thought about it for a long time and then I found THIS fic. It talks about how Metis gives birth to a son and a daughter at once in Zeus' belly and they fight for survival because whoever does not come out will disappear.
Before I found this I had the idea that she could actually give birth to twins but only Athena came out of Zeus. And now it's interesting au, what if Kairos came out in the canon line, next? For example after the events of Epic? Depends if with Zeus's consent for this or this is without his knowledge (some trick etc.) but I think it would be very funny. I think he would have the best relationship with Athena and the rest of his half siblings here. I even thought about an au where Metis has triplets (or twin boys after Athena) to use both names Poros and Caerus/Kairos here. What if Metis doesn't say who's older so it's unclear who the prophecy is about?
I honestly like the version where Athena had a brother already in Zeus' belly, imagine Metis' essence disappearing completely so he takes Athena, who really doesn't want to go, and literally pushes her out of their father to save her life and for all these years Athena thought she lost her little brother but boom, he's alive in there and he's only a little weird after so many years in solitude and silence.

Long awaited part 2!
I couldn't fit all 759 voices/circles/squiggles in the last panel :(
Geez Odysseus, if I can't fit all of them in a square box, then just how exactly loud are those screams?

headcanon that annabeth is freakishly strong. not because she's been training as a soldier since she was seven. but because stretching the limits of your strength is a mental block first and foremost. and as a daughter of athena, goddes of the mind and strategy. all annabeth has to do is believe that she can lift something and she will lift it.

The only version of Antinous I can live with is the birthday parody one. And when I read @app1es0uce 's bday version of' Little wolf, I couldn't rest until drawing, so credit to them, haha!!. Ofc also credit to @gigizetz for creating the birthday parody and the famous Antinous apron in the first place

Little Dionysus (tearfully): There's a monster under my bed!
Athena: Now, that's not rational. A monster is not going to fit under your bed unless it's a snake and those are fine animals.
Dionysus (shaking his head): No, there's a bigger one!
Athena (sighing): Why do you think that?
Dionysus (pointing): Ares told me.
Athena (frowning at Ares)
Ares: I'm not wrong. Look for yourself.
(Athena peeks under the bed and sees Zeus)
Zeus:...I'm hiding from Hera.
Athena (to Ares): Fair enough.
Ares: Sleepover in my room?
Dionysus (excitedly): Okay!

Ok, ok I had to (:
I watched @what-is-my-aesthetic ‘s newest video (about the koala brothers, which I had never heard of before this, but omg, it looks like such a cute show with amazing stop motion (I’m a sucker for stop motion lol)) and she mentioned her own fan character called Dave the Dingo (Doctor, wow! Alliteration!) she even made an amazing stop motion animation of!! It was so cute and I just had to draw him lol.
It’s been a while since I’ve drawn something that wasn’t for school so, that was nice. I tried to semi replicate the style without making a figure lol. (Which I’m honestly thinking of, but that’s probably a project for after the semester lmao)

Utterly devastated nobody told me there was a vase painting of Poseidon rushing toward Medusa's decapitated body while one of her sisters looks like she's trying to stop him from seeing the bloody scene... implying he either visits her regularly or she called for him before she died :(

When Athena speaks to Odysseus first after God Games, he ofc notices her scars, but she doesn't tell him why she has them, just says "Family disagreement" or something like that.
And then Ares asks her "What did your mortal say? Hope he thanked you properly." And from what she says he gets she didn't say a thing about that.
So all of the sudden this huge terrifying dude appears to Odysseus in the middle of the night and booms "I never liked you but you better get home safe my sister took a lightning bolt to the face for you."
And then just leaves and Ody is like what the fuck is my life.

Silly Ctimene Headcanon :3
As some of y'all know, my Odysseus has long, curly af auburn hair. It's something he gets from Anticlea (who got it from her dad who got it from Hermes). It's a cute lil thing with Laertes having his beloved 3 tall, red-brown puff balls lol.
But unlike Odysseus and Anticlea who love their luscious locks, Ctimeine HATES it.
It's too hot. It's thick and heavy. It gets messy and frizzy with humidity. It hurts to get combed. Who on earth would purposely keep what feels like a woolen blanket on their head during the warm season?!
Odysseus hears her rants about how much she hates it. Both are tenderheaded but she is more upset about getting it styled than he is. When Odysseus is around 12-14 and she was around 10-12, hearing some more of her rants, he was basically like "…Well…what if your hair got cut by 'accident'? 👀 "
And then he basically has it set up where "oh no, My sister is stuck and all snarled with her hair in this bush! How will I get her out????"
And it's just basically him pulling a "chop chop" for her. Very uneven and in one swoop. like from "Tangled" >:3
And ofc, Anticlea and Euryclea are sad. Probably even crying a lil.
"This was on purpose, I KNOW it was, Odysseus. How could you do this to your poor lil sister?! 😭" "Because I'm a horrible and mean older brother >:3" winks at the camera while Ctimene is bobbing her head side to side and kicking her feet, giggling about her shorter, much lighter hair "You will be punished severely." "…yeh 🥲 "
I know haircutting wasn't really a thing unless grieving BUT they were kiddos and stupid 👀 This may just be a one time thing but I also really love short hair Ctimene. :)

Rn my hyper fixations are Epic the Musical and Gravity Falls, and my favorite head cannons are that the Stan Twins would be the War Twins’ champions. Like Athena and Ares would bless both of them.
While Stan doesn’t think he’s smart we all know he is. He fixed the portal by himself, Ford needed Fidds AND Bill to create it. He also is strategic in fights as well. Impulsive at times yeah but comes out on top in most fights.
Stanford survived dimension hopping for 30 years. He battles his way to stay alive. He’s not weak and he can use brute force if needed. Not to mention his intelligence. Arrogant at times, but so was Odysseus.
What I’m saying is, if Athena and Ares were to pick champions it’d probably be them. Imagine how insane/powerful/ unstoppable the Stan Twins would be if they had the Gods’ blessings.
Not to mention Hermes would LOVE them too.

Athena: Dad, have you heard from Ares lately?
Zeus (confused):...who?
Athena: My brother.
Zeus: Dear, you know that doesn't help much.
Athena (sighing): The other war god.
Zeus: Oh! Him. What about him?
Athena: Have you heard from him lately? We normally bicker on Tuesdays, but he hasn't shown up in a while.
Zeus (dismissively): I'm sure he's fine.
Athena: I'm starting to get worried. I haven't even seen him in Sparta.
Zeus: He'll show up sometime.
Athena: But what if something's wrong?
Zeus (laughs): What if it is? He's an immortal, Athena. He can't die. What's the worst that can happen?
(Meanwhile, in a jar)
Ares (in a fetal position, chanting): They'll notice I'm gone. They'll notice I'm gone.
