And then Ares asks her "What did your mortal say? Hope he thanked you properly." And from what she says he gets she didn't say a thing about that.

So all of the sudden this huge terrifying dude appears to Odysseus in the middle of the night and booms "I never liked you but you better get home safe my sister took a lightning bolt to the face for you."

And then just leaves and Ody is like what the fuck is my life.

“Hey, Tommy.” He hears Maddie’s voice, and turns his head to smile at her. He’s leaning against the doorway to the living room, a drink in hand. He’s looking out at the party still going strong in the living room, people mingling, drinks pouring, festive music playing. “What are you doing standing here all alone?” She joins Tommy, leaning against the doorframe opposite him. “Where’s my brother? I was starting to think he’s glued to your hand,” she jokes, and it gets a laugh out of Tommy. “He’s a little busy.” He nods towards the corner of the room, where a joyous laughter erupts at that very moment. There he is, Evan, shining brightly like a beam of sunshine, while he’s entertaining the younger kids. He looks so in his element, playing with them, goofing off, helping them unpack their gifts, and the kids love him. Tommy knows he has the most fond and lovesick expression on his face, and he doesn’t even want to hide it. This is his man, and he loves him so much – and one day, hopefully, they’ll have their own kids who will look at Evan this adoringly. They’ve talked about it briefly, they know where they stand, and as scary as it sometimes seems, Tommy’s so excited for a future with Evan. “And I’m just taking a little break.” Tommy shrugs with one arm, eyes scanning the room, feeling a little wistful tonight, but also awed and grateful that he’s here with all those amazing people. Sometimes it just gets overwhelming. “He’s so good with them.” Maddie comments, a grin on her own face. Tommy hums in agreement, and then her attention is back on him. “You okay?” She asks. He can feel her piercing gaze on the side of his face. He must not be able to hide the slight melancholy from his expression that well.

“Yeah,” he nods, taking a sip of his drink. “Yeah, just- I’m not used to… all this.” He nods towards the room, hoping she gets what he means. Evan playing with the kids. Hen and Athena sipping wine and gossipping on the couch. Bobby talking to May and Denny while he cooks in the kitchen. Chimney, Karen and Eddie laughing about something loudly. Other familiar faces from the 118 all around, gathered here at the Christmas/housewarming party at Bobby and Athena’s new house. They all seem so close, like a real family. Tommy doesn’t know this kind of familiarity, not from work, not among friends, not even from his own childhood home. “I’ve never really had this, you know? The last few years at Harbor have been amazing, all my coworkers are great friends, it’s just-” he stops, shakes his head. The alcohol made his tongue a little looser than he’s comfortable with.

“Not really family. Not like the 118 are.” Maddie finishes for him, understanding in her voice.

“Yeah,” he whispers.

“Well, you’re a part of this family now.” Maddie places her hand on his forearm, a soothing gesture. “And once you’re in, there’s no going back, you’re stuck with us now.” He sees her reassuring smile out of the corner of his eye.

“Thank you.” He says, still watching his boyfriend, and feeling his heart swell with love. For Evan, for this amazing family that welcomed him with open arms, for all his old and new friends, for getting this chance. Not only did he get the love of the most amazing man he’s ever met, he got a whole family, too. He never thought this would happen when he answered that phone call from Howie months ago.

Speaking of, Howie shows up next to them, holding up a branch of mistletoe over his head and grinning.

“Hi, can I get a kiss?” He asks.

“Of course, honey-” Maddie starts to answer, but Howie quickly interrupts.

“I meant from Tommy.” His tone is teasing, and Maddie laughs loudly, Tommy joining her. How much did he have to drink? “I’m serious. Come on, Kinard, you’re the only one left.” He smirks, and Tommy glances at Maddie. She just shrugs, chuckling slightly.

“Fine.” Tommy rolls his eyes, but leans down and- and he swears he means to kiss Howie’s cheek. He swears Howie gives him his cheek to kiss. But then he turns his head and their lips meet, for just a split second. Maddie laughs again. Howie’s grinning at him when he pulls away.

And then Evan materializes seemingly out of thin air, as if he crossed the whole room in a split second.

“What’s going on here?” He asks innocently, but suddenly he’s plastered against Tommy’s side. Tommy can’t hide his amusement. Evan is adorable. “Why are you kissing my boyfriend, Chim?”

“Mistletoe.” Howie shrugs, waving the branch. Evan doesn’t look impressed. 

“Maddie, your husband is kissing my man.”

“I know, I’m right here.” Maddie laughs. “As long as they don’t fall in love,” she jokes with a shrug. “Or we’re gonna have a real problem, Kinard.” She adds half-seriously, and, well, Tommy’s seen Evan’s jealousy, he knows not to mess with a Buckley.

“I have everything I need right here.” Tommy answers, his arm wrapping around Evan’s waist. “You need a mistletoe kiss, too, baby?”

“Like a hundred.” Evan nods. “To erase the image of you kissing my brother-in-law, ew.” He makes a face, and Howie pretends to be offended. 

“Let’s go find mistletoe, then.” Tommy laughs, grabbing Evan’s hand. 

As they walk away, he can see Howie finally using his own branch to kiss his wife, and then twirling her to the music, before kissing her again. They’re really an adorable couple.

Evan leads him to the middle of the living room, where a mistletoe hangs on the overhead lamp, and kisses Tommy so deep and hungry his brain short-circuits. They hear whistles and groans and shouts to get a room, and Tommy laughs into Evan’s lips. He’s never had this, either, being able to be so open and public with his relationship, so accepted. Everyone will tease and make fun of them for being so sickeningly in love, and Tommy will adore every second of it.

“I love you.” Evan whispers, eyes sparkling happily. “You’re all mine.” He adds, voice determined, and Tommy can’t help a loud laugh that escapes him. Oh, Evan’s has his own heart.

“I love you, too, Evan.” Tommy sighs. He doesn’t think he’s ever been happier. He’s surrounded by so much love and family and happiness – and he has his whole world right here in his arms. He never thought he’d have anything close to this, and he’ll forever be so grateful he got this. He doesn’t need any gifts this Christmas, he already has everything he needs.

Scary Love

Y/N, much to the disdain of his father, had convinced his mother to let him spend some days with his grandmother, Demeter.

Zagreus and Macaria were also not happy about it, however as they player major roles in the underworld, they could not accompany him. They did give him some advice.

“Just take this enchanted dagger with you.” Zagreus spoke, hiding the weapon in his brother’s tunic.

“If someone tries to pressure you, just do as we practiced” said Macaria.

“GUYS PLEASE! THIS IS TOO MUCH!”

The youngest son of Hades was very well received by his grandmother, who was very happy to see him. The other gods were also enthusiastic, specially his new best friends, Athena and Artemis.

Y/N spend the first few days catching up with everyone, Apollo sang him songs, Hermes brought him gifts from his travels, he also did flower crowns with Dionysus, so on and so forth.

With Athena and Artemis, Y/N travelled the known world, playing chess with Athena was always fun and he bonded with Artemis over their love of animals.

There was only one god Y/N could not befriend, that being Aphrodite, whispers ran throughout Olympus that the Goddess of Beauty had been dethroned. Aphrodite didn’t help herself by leading a life of debauchery, not at all leading a life of virtue and, in an irony of destiny, not respecting the sacred bounds of love she herself represented.

One early morning, the young prince witnessed the arrival of Ares, God of War, who was followed by two unknown men, all in bloody armour.

The God of War only gave a small nod of acknowledgment, speaking swiftly.

“Deimos, Phobos…” Ares spoke, his voice full of authority. “…meet Y/N, God of Seasons, Prince of the Underworld, youngest child of Hades and Persephone.”

Deimos and Phobos greeted the young prince, however, the latter could only notice their unusual auras and empty eyes.

In the next days Y/N could feel himself being observed, as if two pairs of eyes were watching him from the shadows. Flowers and little cards could also be find on his bed, with sort messages such as “I love your eyes” or “You have my heart”

The next few encounters with Deimos and Phobos were always the same, with few words exchanged and the two gods in their bloody armours.

One particular day, Y/N was pitiful of the two brothers, he had offered to help clean their armours, they seemed very dirty and uncomfortable.

To his surprise, the two brothers accepted, taking an opportunity to ask the young prince for help cleaning themselves, in particular their cheeses and arms, which they would flex at any opportunity, making Y/N giggle.

From then on, the try spent even more time together, Ares became quite annoyed at this, as his sons weren’t fulfilling their duties, which mainly meant fighting alongside their father.

It was clear to everyone the two brothers were in love with the young prince, but no one dared to say so. As the two circled Y/N like to guard dogs. Or in Persephone’s own words “sons of Cerberus”

Persephone knew of her son’s conflicted feelings, and simply advised “follow your heart…but do remember this has great consequences.”

“What do you mean mother?”

“Silly boy, you have the sons of the God of War at your mercy, the best warriors in the world, who give their father great victories…you can sway them as you please, they are yours to command, love is a powerful force.”

lying on the hospital stretcher, with an icy gel on your low stomach, you could hear Buck’s startled murmur as he repeated the doctor’s words. You were completely shocked. As if finding out the pregnancy wasn’t scare enough, you’re having twins?

Your hands were shaking and sweating, your mind was a completely mess, fear was growing in your chest. What if you weren’t good enough, what if-

“baby?” Buck’s voice woke you from your thoughts and you could see the worried look on his beautiful face. “are you feeling okay?”

“y-yes, i-i just-“

“i’ll give you a moment”

The doctor said as she wiped the gel from your belly and soon left the room leaving you two alone.

“i-i don’t know if- how can we-“

“hey hey, calm down” He held your face in his hands and his eyes met yours. “I am scared to death about this too. But we’re going to make it, we’ve faced so much so far, all the obstacles that have come our way and we’ve faced them. We are going to make it, we are going to have these babies and they are going to learn about the greatest love in the world, because they are going to be raised by us”

“and by the 118” You added and let out a muffled laugh. He let out a wide smile and you could see how his eyes formed little wrinkles as his smile grew. “i love you so much”

“i love you guys too” He put his hands on your stomach and gave you a little peck in your lips.

It was finally Thanksgiving morning. You and Buck agreed to wait until today to tell everyone about the pregnancy. You were helping Athena and Maddie in the kitchen, while the rest of the team was setting Bobby and Athena’s house for lunch. You didn’t wake up well this morning, the nausea that you thought was over showed its face again. You excused yourself and quickly went to the bathroom, throwing up what you didn’t even know you had in your stomach. After you cleaned yourself up you came out of the bathroom and bumped into a frowning Maddie.

“Are you feeling all right? This is the second time you’ve run to the bathroom to-“

“Why didn’t you tell me? How far along are you? oh my god, my brother is going to be a father. Jee is going to have a cousin” She kept murmuring and you smiled at your sister-in-law’s excitement. When your eyes met she gave a huge smile. “and how are you doing? i am so happy for you”

She hugged you tight, and you didn’t even realize you had tears in your eyes until they rolled off your face.

“that’s why Buck hasn’t taken his eyes off you all morning” You nodded, still teary-eyed, and tried to pull yourself together.

“Maddie you can’t tell anyone. We will announce it this afternoon, it’s still a surprise”

“yeah of course. I’ll try to keep my mouth shut” You gave her a serious look and she laughed. “i promise I’ll keep my mouth shut” As soon as you left the bathroom Buck was standing in the doorway with a worried look on his face.

“Is everything okay?”

“Everything is great” Maddie exclaimed with her hands up and burst out laughing. As soon as she left Buck looked at you confused and you sighed.

The table was set, everyone was seated, and Bobby began a speech about the things he was grateful for this year. He was about to start the meal, when Buck asked to speak.

“ahn, i-i’d like to- i-i’m-“

He started to stutter and you held his hand under the table. He took a deep breath looking into your eyes and your smile gave him the strength to continue.

“i am extremely grateful for this family, the 118 family, I think you all remember that I didn’t go through my best phase in the beginning, but with your help I can say that I have become a better firefighter and a better person. And I am grateful for the woman who chose me. A few years have passed since we decided to give this relationship a chance and I could never have imagined that this would become the best thing in my life, the best part of me. But today in particular I am grateful because she gave me the opportunity to be a father and I am grateful for the babies in her belly”

“what?” Eddie was the first to ask while everyone stared at you in astonishment.

“oh my god, babies? As two babies?" Maddie exclamed with tears in her eyes.

And when you confirmed it the celebration began. Everyone came up to you to congratulate and tell you how much these babies would be loved. How great you would be as parents, and of course lots of jokes about how they didn’t believe Buck could do anything good like winning you over and now getting you pregnant, you’re too much for Buck. You couldn’t have dreamed of a different scenario, a better one. The look on Buck’s face, his sincere smile on his lips as he told about the day you found out together that you were pregnant, the love that radiated from everyone around you, the caresses on your belly and the loving comments, the warm hugs.

That was the true meaning of family for you. The joy, the talking, the pregnancy planning, the hugs and smiles, went on throughout the day. And it went on during the months that followed, the homemade meals made especially for you, the gifts sent for the babies, the help to set up the babies’ room.

They were your true family.

When the day finally arrived ahead of schedule, you were home alone. Despite the fear and desperation you did what you had spent months preparing for. While on the way you called your boyfriend, you didn’t expect that you would arrive at the hospital practically together with a truck full of anxious firemen who came straight out of a call to the hospital. The nurses couldn’t stop talking about how loved you were and how anxious the firemen and their partners in the waiting room were.

And the moment has finally arrived. The Buckley babies have arrived into this world, and you and Buck couldn’t be happier.

"Aren't mortals there for us to ruin?" His conviction about it used to be stronger, more honest, he didn't care for Cassandra but mayhaps he should have.

"Did you knew they existed before us?" His sister answers never one to refuse a debate. Ares was better at this types of conversations, Ares for all his faults was better at being a brother to all, Apollo was a good brother to Artemis, his other half, maybe to Hermes, sometimes, but he still didn't knew how to be with the others. "They were there with the old gods and with the Titans... they'll likely be there after us."

He wants to say it won't be an after them. But this aren't his words and the lightning never stroke him (it had never stroked Athena either, what's the point of being the favorites when you can still be hurt?).

"I could not raise Hector and his clan as a reason. It was the gods will, dad's will, that made Odysseus kill Hector's son, and I already had my permited vengeance when I helped Paris kill Achiles."

She nods serius.

"Hector was my champion but I would never have his death be a reason to fight with dad. I would never have protected his child. I didn't."

"Are you here to blame me?"

"I heard he is a marksman. I don't think he'll need it but I'll still do my best to garantee his arrows do not miss a single target." It's the closest to an apology he'll ever be able to say. He hopes she takes it.

"Apollo, what you said about knowledge, I always knew we weren't really imune from father just cause he called us his favorites." His eyes grow bigger, she must really love her mortal, a small part of him thinks, Zeus will end us all one day the bigger part says in a small panicked realization. "Goddess of knowledge." It's a small jest, a way to take him out of his own fears, she'll never say she forgives him but now he knows she does.

"Silly of me to ever have forgotten it." He answers. More because he fells he has to say something. "Now if you forgive me, I have new bands to find and you have a long list of concerned sibblings to listen to and a mortal to save. Good luck, Thena."

He didn't really nicknamed his sibblings, there was always 'sweetheart', 'darling', 'honey', 'girlie' but never nicknames. Those were for Artemis and Hermes only. He should start changing that.

"See you arround, fanboy."

Athena never ever nicknames, she isn't soft, she isn't silly and her jokes are always dry. 'Fanboy' sounds like Hermes. THIS is the actual closest to forgiviness he'll have. He laughs musically as he leaves.

WHY NOT?! Okay, we going to wait until you're drunk enough to admit that Phoenix fits perfectly into your category of kittens. By the way, once Diego almost called him Kitten in game. There are affectionate nicknames that parents call their children, and there are names for flirting. This trio is in the first category, but Trite is in the second. Maya and Simon are in the category of older children, so Diego does not feel like a parent with them and uses their names (but sometimes Cookie/Сupcake and Birdy). I'm not an English speaker (obviously), so I really hope I'm not mistaken with the connotations. More options for Trucy: Sweetheart, Miracle, Sparkle, Dove... Headcanons:

- Diego worked for Wright & Co. as a legal consultant during his house arrest. Then Miles gave him back the position of prosecutor and he left, but he still go in there from time to time (mainly to chat with Phoenix and check if the kids is okey). - Phoenix has a magatama, Apollo and Trucy are psychics, and Athena is an empath. Diego is the only lawyer without advantages (he is more likely with debuffs). I think Pearl gave him a magatama, but he doesn't use it because he has standarts. Well, he can use it if he goes to interview killers... - Phoenix is a bad mentor and not a very reliable boss. He constantly leaves Athena and Apollo to study on their own. One day Mr. Armando came into the office. He felt sorry for the children, so he took them with him to the prosecutor's office. He not only gave them a tour, but also told them a lot of useful information and gave them a list of legal literature. Frankly, Apollo and Athena love and respect Mr. Armando more than they love their boss. - Diego won a more cases than Phoenix. He gladly tells young people stories from his practice and gives advice. Diego: Trite? How long have you been standing here? Are you interested too?? Phoenix: Uh, of course not, I'm the boss, I already know everything. My brother's brother is my brother, right? She wants to have a family dinner with Simon and Mr. Armando, but one of them is always busy at the prosecutor's office. Or do they do it on purpose? - Trucy treats Diego like family. Phoenix often brought her to the Fey manor, where Diego looked after her and Pearl. For a time, Trucy even considered him to be Pearl's father. She was not confused that Pearl was patronizing Diego (Pearl knows only one authority, the mystic Maya), because she does the same with her dad!

Just saw episode 7, and I have a LOT of thoughts!!

1) Percy meeting his half-brother was so weird, like bro was creepy 😭 (was that the actor who played death on Supernatural???) Annabeth sassing him was hilarious

2) Annabeth giving Grover the ball to calm down, Percy reassuring him there was no issue with him losing the pearl, Grover insisting that they're still going to get his mom 🥺🥺, I love their friendship

3) I can't imagine how hard bing a single mom of a demigod (especially a forbidden one) must be, Sally is so strong. And baby Percy thinking she wanted to get rid of him, my heart can't handle this 😭. Sally and Poseidon were so cute... Like I have no words, they didn't even look at each other and yet I still felt all of the chemistry!! 😭

4) What was Annabeth's regret???? I hope we find out next season!

5)Speaking of Annabeth, her petting Cerberus into submission and playing fetch with him!! God, that was so cool and cute!!! I love her!!

6) kronos was planning everything all along!!!!!! Amazing!! I did not see that coming! But since he is trapped in Tartarus who did steal the bolt (and helm apparently)??? Was it Ares?? Clarisse?? I'm guessing we're finding out next season!

7) Speaking of, I loved the way that Percy was so smart, he was able to connect Ares story with Hades's speech and figure out it was Kronos! Amazing!!

8) A daughter of Athena telling a son of Poseidon that she trusts Poseidon, what if I kms????? 😭😭😭

9) I expected Hades to be scary, but he was just some funny fruity little dude, love that for him! His wife is staying with her mom and he's lonely, so he talks to the statue of his sister in law, love that for him 😭

10) I am so excited for the battle with Ares!!!!! Let's go!!! (God of War vs 12 year old kid who hates authority and is done with this shit; who will win?! Place your bets now, folks!)

2: a headcanon you weren't sure about at first but have come to like!

Before playing aa4 and aa5 I wasn't sure about hcing Apollo as a trans male and Athena as a woman and austic. But once I finished both characters intro games I've come to adopt these hc's myself as I can see both of them socially transitioning as kids. Plus Athena having super sensitive ears and struggling more with that as a kid is very relatable as that's an austic trait I have (unfortunately it doesn't allow me to hear peoples emotions and just means I can't cope with vaccum cleaners and hand dryers (TT O TT)) so her backstory definitely led me to hc her as austic lol.

16: a tiny detail in canon that you want more people to appreciate

I think the visual choices for sure. From both Miles and Franziska mimicking Menfred in both design and sprite animations (with Miles doing it more as a rookie and Franziska doing it even more than Rookie Miles), to small details like Phoenix having slightly shorter hair in aa3's flashback case (which I don't think enough people notice and often draw "Feenie" with same hair length, probably because it's that length in every other design, including child design), Ema's adult outfit having references to highschool uniform even in SOJ but doesn't straight up look like a highschool uniform thank goodness, Klavier looking more like his brother at 24 than at 17, and the list can go on and on and on!

17: the thing in canon that everyone loves and that you also love

I think I've seen enough people talk about how much they love this for it to count as an answer :3. The diversity of relationships. I'm all for romantic and/or sexual ships (I am a mulishipper lol) but, I do appreciate that in canon we have so many positive and friendly relationships between siblings, co-workers and friends with no hint of needing to "take things further" because they don't need to! Even with huge age gaps, characters can and will get along as friends! Which in society is seen as strange (at least it's seemed that way to me growing up. I remember in primary school I once got in trouble for having a friend that was "too young" & was told I was weird as a teen for getting along with adults??? So strange).

An example of a fun interaction between characters imo is in case 5-3 is when Athena is talking to Phoenix early on the case (I think before the body was found, can't quite remember sorry) because he clearly see's her as both his young employee, but also as a friend, and Athena both looks up to him, and is also able to joke/jabs about him, like saying she thinks he probably looked scary in college XD

So even though I've casually observed fandom spaces since I was 12 I never engaged in fandom spaces until my late teens. It's hard to pin point which was my first fandom since my early fandom experiences consisted of jointing a bunch of Facebook groups (which wasn't really fun as only one group didn't have consistent drama and infighting) but I think it's a tie between the Gorillaz fandom (as in the band, been a long time since I've listened to them lol) and The Sims fandom (which I'm still kinda apart of, Sim fans are definitely more chill on Tumblr, but I mostly stick with Sims 2 side of fandom).

Clarisse was guarding her team's flag and she feels a move next to her. She points her sword to the side.

- You know that this is cheating, right? - Clarisse asks angry. Annabeth takes her cap off and gets visible.

- Well....games are usually not fair! - Annabeth says and uses her sword to push Clarisse's away and they start a fight with their swords. Always blocking each other. They clash their swords and stay face to face.

- So, Clarisse. Where is your spear? I'm missing it  Usually, you are with your spear almost all of the games....what? Are you afraid that someone breaks it again? -  Annabeth provokes 

- Shut your fucking mouth! - Clarisse says angry. 

- Why? Is the truth isn't it? Your father beat you and you cried like a fucking scared baby... just like me. I used to be so afraid of the world and the people in it. I found two special people who took care of me. One is dead and the other walked away with the other hunters and now....I lost one of the last best things that ever happened to me....for you! - Annabeth says and pushes Clarisse pretty hard making Clarisse fall on the floor and she runs fast to get the red flag and runs away. Clarisse stands up and runs after Annabeth. They get in the middle of a battle between the teams. Clarisse lunges after Annabeth and both roll on the floor in the forest. They stand up and fight with all their anger. Their teams stop what they were doing to look at the scene. Clarisse and Annabeth exchange punches and kicks. The punches were so strong that their lips were bleeding. Both take their swords and start a sword fighting. They clast their swords and stay face to face again, but this time with more intensity and anger. 

- Would you like Clarisse? - Annabeth whispers 

- Would I like what you pyschopath? - Clarisse whispers angry

- Would you like that I tell everybody here that your father beats you? Would you? - Annabeth asks with a devious smile 

- Don't you dare you daughter of a bitch! - Clarisse says angry.

- Why not? I'm pretty sure that your brothers would love to hear about that wouldn't they? They would want to know that the favourite one is not so favourite like they used to think? Or that their sister turned into a lonely and soft girl. Do you think your brothers and father would approve? Can you imagine what the campers would think about you Clarisse? That the most feared girl of the camp is not so scary? Do you think they would laugh at you? They never really cared for you....all of them thought you were the traitor, even me, Percy and...your brothers... - Annabeth continues whispering 

- You are lying! - Clarisse whispers angry

- Am I Clarisse? Am I? Wake up....you were always alone. The only people you really had here were Chris and Silena. But they died, right? Poor Clarisse... everyone fears you and hate you. You shouldn't even be here anymore. This place doesn't deserve you....neither do I... - Annabeth says and Clarisse gets distracted for a few seconds thinking about what Annabeth said that Annabeth uses her strength to knock down Clarisse and kicks Clarisse's sword away.

Clarisse is on the floor looking up at Annabeth defeated. But when Annabeth was about to attack Clarisse with her sword, another sword intercepts between Annabeth's sword and Clarisse's face. Annabeth looks up and looks at an angry Percy without his helmet and with his dark glasses glaring at Annabeth. 

- Over my dead body! - Percy whispers darkly and uses his strength to knock down Annabeth using only his sword to turn Annabeth's sword around. Annabeth falls on the floor and everyone continues watching the scene.

- Why don't you fight with a different opponent this time daughter of Athena? - Percy asks angry. Annabeth stands up and both fight with very intensity. Percy almost hurting Annabeth sometimes. Percy was not being serious with Annabeth....because he knows if he fought serious...things wouldn't end well for Annabeth. Percy nods his head to the side for Clarisse to look at something. Clarisse looks at the blue flag that Percy got from the other team. She stands up and gets the flag and starts running. Annabeth sees and tries to stop her, but Percy holds her back and she screams. All the others from the blue's team run after Clarisse to get the flag but Clarisse's team protects her and fights the people from the Annabeth's team. 

Clarisse runs and arrives near the sea. She was going to put the flag on the right place, but Piper intercepts her.

- Well, well! You really know how to ruin people's lifes don't you? Don't you feel ashamed of yourself? Of bullying people and separating a good couple? - Piper asks 

- Look, evil version of Pocahontas! I'm not bullying anyone else since months and it's not my fault that the couple has a real problem of unhealthy obsession and overprotectiveness over the people they care about...I didn't do anything....they are doing everything by themselves. But I'm not here to chat with the doll Annabelle's lawyer....so, if you could excuse me please? - Clarisse says and tries to pass by Piper. But Piper points her sword to Clarisse's throat.

- Great! Another crazy person... - Clarisse says and sighs. Both start sword fighting. Clarisse ends up knocking down Piper. When she tries to walk, Piper holds her foot and knocks her down. But Clarisse still fights with all of her strength to get close to the flag's spot with her hand still holding the flag. Piper attacks Clarisse from behind her back on the floor. Clarisse elbows her pretty hard and gets some of sand and throws at Piper's face blinding her. Clarisse stands up and puts the blue flag in the spot. 

- WE DID IT! - Clarisse screams and she hears everyone cheering for her from the forest. All of the members of her team stop what they were doing and run to the direction her voice came. Percy and the guys pick Clarisse up to put her above them and they start cheering. Clarisse only laughs along with the other girls from her team. Annabeth runs to Piper and asks her if she is alright and takes her to the infirnary. But then looks back with a murderous look towards Clarisse's direction.

EPIC: The Musical is an Odyssey retelling and adaptation made by a young man Jorge "Jay" Rivera-Herrans. It started out during lockdown because he had another musical he was working on but due to COVID restrictions it made him and his then-crew unable to continue working. During COVID, however, he wanted to make another musical. And so, for over four years now, he has been writing, casting, and recording EPIC: The Musical. It is a musical sectioned into sagas, five of which being in the first act and the other four being delegated to the second. There have been six sagas released thus far, with the Wisdom Saga, the seventh saga, being released on Friday, August 30th.

Jay has explicitly stated in his videos about the creative process that he takes heavy inspiration for how he conveys plot points and the like from anime and video games, more heavily the latter as he is attempting with EPIC to create a musical that feels like a video game. The way he does this is by giving each saga a boss battle, each with such powerful music to match. In Poseidon's "Ruthlessness" he preaches to Odysseus the true meaning of this world: ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves, a message that sums up the entire theme of the musical and that is repeated throughout. In Zeus's song titled "Thunderbringer" it repeats his brother's preaching but he didn't explicitly tell him, more showed him by forcing him to choose between making it home to his son and wife--something he said he'd trade the world for in the second song--or saving his crew that had just mutinied moments before. And by the end of the musical, Odysseus has internalized every boss battle and we get to watch him become the final boss from the perspective of those who tried to wrong him and that are getting punished for their actions. By the end of the musical, Odysseus is a heavily changed man and the final song is titled "Would You Fall In Love With Me Again" which is a song to his wife, Penelope. She shows up often in the musical, not often physically, but often pops up because Odysseus proclaims that all he wishes to do is to see his wife and son. Jay assigned each character an instrument, and while I cannot recall each off of the top of my head, Penelope's instrument is a viola. In act two, when we hear the song "Suffering" we can hear something is off because yes this is her voice, but her viola is missing. That minor detail is enough to set off alarm bells in many a fan's head, and it did!

Back to the end of the musical, we get to see a reunion between two lovers, but only after what is a reunion for one and a first meeting for the other--the song between Odysseus and Telemachus, his son. It is one of the most heart-wrenching songs in the musical, just the snippets are enough to move to tears. Odysseus's assigned instrument is a guitar, and for the first time in a while, it is a quiet tune that plays on the guitar used in that song. Just that guitar alone hurts to listen to, at least for me. Anyway, I've waffled on more than enough! Sorry for the ramble, wanted to do something a bit fancier than what i tend to do.

Your character backstory of Legacy kinda inspired mine.

Asper Willow (my MC) was considered a squib. And he was heavily mistreated by his pureblood family because of it. One day, at age of 15, at a family gathering in July, after a lot of insults and attacks, he snapped, sending a huge table over the wall, breaking it. His family then, after realizing he is indeed a wizard, started to treat him differently, with more respect, except one member: his brother Rumos Willow. After a chaotic adventure before getting to Hogwarts, Asper gets sorted into Slytherin, mainly for his ambition to become the most powerful wizard of all time, as he sees that the more powerful he is, the more people respect him, and no one will look down on him, ever again. Once he finds out he can see and wield Ancient Magic, oh boy, he will do whatever it takes to harness as much of it as he can: lying, manuplating and backstabing whoever he needs to

Yeah, you can see he is a bit messed up. But I plan him to improve throught the story. I also plan on giving other characters more development. Mainly, Isadora is the main villian, not Ranrok. I have a little twist in my sleeve that may have already been used, but yeah, Ranrok is not the main villian. First of all, the name "Asper Willow" is freaking beautiful, it just rolls off the tongue so nicely and gives an edge that I can dig. And I'm already feeling both pity and fear at how powerful he is with no training and the anger that would fuel that power. Come to think of it, if magic builds up over time without being recognized, is it possible that it could grow stronger? Y'know, like aging a Scotch? Is that why The Fifth Year, and other "late bloomers" are in tune with Ancient Magic? Is that why Obscurials like Credence Barebone are so powerful?

I'm already curious about Rumos. I both dislike him...and also strangely respect him? At least he, unlike the rest of the family, isn't disingenuous. At least he didn't change his behavior or his treatment of Asper for no good reason. It's funny, I've been working on siblings for Peri, and I actually did give him one that he still doesn't get along with called Athena. (Goin' for that Greek theme, oh yeah.) And just hearing that Asper will do anything for more power...oh this is so boss and so scary. I suppose I don't need to ask about whether he harnesses the Ancient Magic at the end or not, but now I am curious about whether he stands with Sebastian or betrays him...

Honestly, the more I think about it, and the more of Akemi Stormborn's Let's Play that I watch...the more I think to myself that this was a wasted opportunity. Politics aside, Ranrok's potential aside...he's just pretty boring, at least in how he's presented in the released game, compared to Isidora. She mirrors The Fifth Year in so many ways and her descent into darkness was very well handled. Can I just say that I love that moment you described between Ranrok and Asper. That is exactly what we should have gotten. Imagine MC and Ranrok discovering an artifact together and the player can choose how to react, with there being an option to immediately say, "Who was it's maker? Do they have any living kin?" And Ranrok just. Stops. And stares at them. Like he doesn't dare believe what he's hearing.

Just. The potential of this game was limitless and I will be forever sad at how it fell so short of that. It's still an enchanting adventure, but I can see the truly breathtaking adventure it might have been, hidden between the lines...

2. When was the last time you cried? Like full-blown unhappy tears? I think last October. I got kind of teary-eyed on Tuesday though because someone sent me a nice thank-you email at work, lmao. (Luckily it was a WFH day.)

7. Scary movies or happy endings? Depends on my mood! Normally gravitate toward happy endings, though, because I am a sap.

Regulus and Sirius were abused by their mother and father (Orion and Walburga Black). They are from a pureblood noble house with lots of weird crazy rules and a lot of incest. Sirius ran away from home when he was 16 but didn’t take Regulus with him. Regulus hates him for that but deep inside he still loves him and miss him because he’s still his brother. Regulus joins the Death Eaters (Voldemort’s gang) because his parents force him to. He then tries to betray Voldemort and save the world but he dies before completing his task. Their family is pretty much the most important and prestigious in the world of magic. They’re rich. They have cousins named Andromeda, Bellatrix and Narcissa. Andromeda and Sirius get along really well because they both ran away because of the crazy blood supremacy and abuse. Andromeda gets along well with Regulus too but they’re not as close. Regulus and Narcissa are really close though. They both hate their families but are too scared to leave. Nobody likes Bellatrix because she is completely crazy. Sirius and Regulus have a gay oncle named Alphard who ran away from home just like Sirius and Andromeda. They love him really really bad.They’re really close to him.

James is an only child from a pureblood family too but his family refused the title(to be in the 13 pureblood houses) because they don’t believe in blood supremacy. So they don’t really count as purebloods per say. His parents (Euphemia and Fleamont) had him really old so they give him pretty much everything he asks for. Euphemia and Fleamont are literal angels. They are so so so nice. They took Sirius in when he ran away. His families rich because his dad created a hair potion. That means James is rich too because he’s going to be the only one to inherit both their money.

Lily:She has a sister named Petunia who she has a really complicated relationship with. It’s mostly because Petunia’s jealous of Lily. The fact they have a bad relationship kinda hurts Lily because no matter what she loves her sister. Lily’s a halfblood. They are middle class.

Barty is from a pureblood family. He is extremely close to his mother. His father neglects him. He mostly just tells him he’s useless and dumb. All in all, his father is an asshole. Barty does really crazy shit just to piss him off. He really really wants to kill his dad. They have a lot of money.

Evan and Pandora are twins. They get along really well. If you say something mean about one of the two you will likely get beat up by the other one. They are from a pureblood family too. Evan almost got married to Regulus( not because he wanted to, he was just forced to). He found that situation really funny. They are a bit over middle class.

Dorcas is from a pureblood family too. They are middle class.

Remus has a really nice mom and a shitty dad. His dad left when he found out he was a werewolf. He’s a mamas boy. He’s really close to her. He’s really poor. He’s a halfblood. (Btw, he became a werewolf when he was around 5)

Peter is from a pureblood family.

Personally, I’d recommend you follow Marauders fans’ accounts on Tik Tok and Tumblr. And that you read all of bizarrestars fics on ao3. But reading ao3 fics in general would be a good idea.
