summary: there were rules that had to be followed: no one could know about you two, there was no ‘getting to know each other,’ and there was absolutely no emotional attachment allowed. if this could be done, there should be no complications. but somehow, the rules always get bended.

Jungkook decided he was going to see if he could jump over your couch and land perfectly in a seated position.

"Wait, wait, wait. Absolute silence everybody." He says as he's stretched over, trying to estimate the timing and height of his jump. He had always been super athletic and competitive since you two were small, so there was really no changing his mind on this. He always had to prove something, even if that meant creating his own competition of jumping over the couch.

"It's just me and you." You watched him from the kitchen, making sure the pizza in the oven was baking properly.

"I have an audience, okay? Don't be rude, Y/N." He says as he points over to the fake audience clapping and laughing during a 'Friends' episode.

"Whatever, as long as you don't go breaking my shit, Jeon Jungkook." He was 22, but his mentality was 8. That was for damn sure.

"Siiiiiiilence." He says at a whisper, his eyes shut as he puts a finger to his mouth. He lets out a huff and a puff before he gets the courage to throw himself over the couch and land a perfect landing. "And once again, he sticks the landing!" He stands up with his hands up in the air.

"You're annoying." You laughed, getting paper plates ready for the pizza that was about to be done because you were in no mood to do any dishes tonight.

"Thank you! I'll be here again tomorrow, same time." He calls out to his fake audience.

"No the hell you're not."

"Ouch, nevermind. Someone apparently doesn't want me here." You laugh at how dramatic he is. At this point, you just let him be because that was something you always loved about your bestfriend. He embraced the kid in him and always brought good times. You had similarities, but you also had some major differences. You liked being in your comfort zone & you were labeled the innocent nerd amongst your friends. You just like to consider yourself simple, though. A 'take it day by day' kind of person. Kookie was fun, adventurous and childish at times. He was also shy, but loud at the same time? An introverted extrovert, you could say.

But you loved each other nonetheless, that's why you've clicked so well since you were young. You taught each other things & grew together.

"Here, fool." You placed the pizza in front of him with the paper plates.

"Set it up, I'll grab us the drinks. You want anything in particular?"

"That bottle of Stella Rosa, please." JK knew you loved that Stella Rosa, so he happily grabs the bottle and two wine glasses. He plops back next to you on the couch, pouring your glasses and grabbing a heaping serving of 4 slices of pizza.

You both decided you want a good laugh, so you throw on Kevin Hart's newest installment: Zero Fucks Given. It isn't long before you both are rolling on the floor, almost gasping for air at how much you're laughing at Kevin Hart's stand up. The pizza is gone, the wine is gone, and you're still feeling pretty tipsy. The whole thing sounds nice, until your head starts to wonder what Taehyung is doing and if he'll text you to come over tonight. You know he probably already has plans with another chick though, and that hits you.

Curse this fucking alcohol.

Let's get this straight - the only time you 'talk' is when he's trying to fuck.

And yes bitch, you let him do this to you. You're out that door before you can even fully slip your shoes on. Dick is just that good. It's something about Taehyung that makes you addicted. The way he gives you a stupid ass smirk when he opens his door, the way he touches your skin and gently lays his shit on you until you both become really invested in the moment. So invested that shit hits the roof. It gets messy. It gets rough. It becomes unspeakable.

You aren't friends. No one knows about you two, or that you even know the other exists. You don't know shit about each other. The only thing you know is that he's fucking other girls. He has a whole roster, you'd imagine - a starting five, at least.

He doesn't care about you, and for the most part, you don't either. At least, that's what you like to portray because it's been some months now since this whole thing started and you can't help but feel some kind of emotional tie to him. You're leaving your house between 12-2am in the morning and sleeping in his bed until 6-7am. It's a routine; a routine you've become used to. You skip out on some late night kick-its with your friends cause you anticipate a text to come through from him.

But, he doesn't care. You aren't the only female slipping into those sheets, and boy does it fucking make it hard to swallow. Reality hits hard when you think about it and you feel this huge pit in your stomach. You try to be different, you try to stand out one way or another. But it doesn't work that way. You knew what this entailed going into it, so it makes zero sense as to why you're hurting and getting jealous from time to time.

You know it still doesn't matter to him.

He's only fucking you over cause you let him. You know damn well you're not gonna change and let this go, though. You love thrill of it too much. It's the most thrill your life has had. You're not perfect and you're only human. You make mistakes, but this one definitely puts the cherry on top. Because not only do you refuse to learn, but you let it repeat itself over and over again.

"Aishhhh, my stomach hurts from laughing too much." Jungkook laid his head back and patted his belly. "But that was good though. I needed that."

"Yeah it was. Thanks for coming by to watch that with me, Kook." He tilts his head over to look at you and smiles.

"Sure thing." He checks his phone and sits up. "Yoongi is blowing up the group chat." You check your phone to see multiple unread messages from none other than Min Yoongi himself.

[yoongi] 10:37pm: aye

[yoongi] 10:45pm: all of a sudden, everyone is ghost in this group chat?! you all had a lot to say not too long ago.

[yoongi] 10:52pm: even though you guys are fake as fuck, does anyone wanna come with me to the bars tonight? meet at my place so we can head out.

You and Jungkook laughed at how butthurt Yoongi was in the groupchat. Yoongi definitely was the most serious and blunt one in your group, but he still liked to party and have a good time. It was just how he was. Hoseok was always full of energy and probably the most extroverted one out of all 4 of you. He was never shy. You and Jungkook met Yoongi and Hoseok your first year in college and became inseparable ever since. You all just click with your different attributes.

[jungkook] 10:53pm: lmaoooooooo

[yoongi] 10:53pm: fuck you dude lol

[jungkook] 10:54pm: i'll come through in a sec, i'm at y/n's right now. not sure if she's gonna come though?

[y/n] 10:55pm: i'll pass, i'm tired and wined out.

[hoseok] 10:55pm: ahahahah yoongi shut up, blowing up my phone for no reason. i'm passing on tonight too. im tired from working that overtime *cries*

[yoongi] 10:56pm: you both are boring. i'm especially offended at how i didn't get an invite to your little powwow, y/n. and now you don't wanna hang out?

"Fuck I regret this, I'm gonna die." Jungkook laughed as he stood up and stretched. He quickly helped you clean up before he figured it was time to go or else Yoongi would have a fit.

"I feel like it has to do with that one girl he's been talking to on and off."

"Perhaps." Jungkook shrugged before putting on his shoes. "We shall see." he sighs before giving you a tight hug. "You sure you don't wanna come out?"

"Nope."

"You don't even have plans tonight."

"Yes I do."

"Doing what?"

"Laying in bed." Jungkook snorted as you shook your head and shrugged. What else did he think you were trying to do? He should know you by now, at the very least.

"Alright, I'm not even going to argue. I'm off."

"Be safe, have fun, text me if you both need anything, okay?" He nods as he shuts the door, leaving you to your lonesome. You swirled the teeny tiny drop of wine leftover in your glass around before picking up your phone.

No new texts. Well, let's be specific: no new texts from taehyung.

You did forget to respond to your oldest cousin though, when he was just trying to check up on you.

You know, the fucking stupid ol' saying of 'chasing your passion isn't going to bring you money & wealth.' Your family was all about the titles and money, but Jin was passionate about cooking and wanted to open his own cafe. You, on the other hand, wanted to pursue your art. Jin was the biggest role model for you because he was the first to defy your family's wants and wishes. He was the black sheep of the family with a huge 'I don't give a fuck' mentality and he taught you that along the way.

Don't ever be afraid to do what you're passionate about. Fuck 'em.

And so, that's what you did. You got yourself all ready for bed, believing you wouldn't be leaving your house tonight. You pampered yourself, put on a face mask and got yourself all lathered up in lotion just to lay down. You're in Jungkook's shirt that he left behind (and never looked for, so technically it's yours now) when the guys had stayed the night and some Vicky Secret panties.

You're scrolling through your Instagram feed, seeing Jungkook's newly posted story with him and Yoongi already at the bars, acting a damn fool. You laughed at the video he took of Yoongi trying to dance in a tight, awkward space on the crowded dance floor even though he was never the best at dancing. It lowkey made you wish you went out with them so you wouldn't be stuck here thinking about your feelings and how lonely these hours get.

And then you see Jimin's story from an hour ago. He knew you were friends with Yoongi, and although Yoongi wasn't fond of their group too much, he was still an avid party-goer and mingled with people there. You've only spoken to Jimin once because you had to work with him in the same group on a class assignment. You tried to keep it that way though because he was Taehyung's bestfriend. They went everywhere together, did everything together. He, too, was very popular among the ladies and across campus. I guess it was just their thing.

You assume they were at a party cause Jimin quickly flashes the camera at Taehyung, who's in front of him getting a lapdance from some chick. Jimin quickly turns the camera back to his face as he's laughing uncontrollably then abruptly cuts it off.

Great.

She's forsure going home with him tonight.

You set your phone down on the night stand and put on a show on your laptop to help you fall asleep.

Just as you're about to get some shut eye, your phone vibrates. You let it slip at first because you thought it could be one of the guys playing around, but it vibrates again, signaling another text coming through. You pick up your phone just to make sure Yoongi and Jungkook aren't in any trouble and need you to bail their asses out.

[taehyung] 12:17am: hey

[taehyung] 12:20am: come over.

You scoff at how he assumes you're still up and that you'd be coming over. You hated that. He knew he just had your ass.

🎂: does your OC have any contradictory interests or traits to the first perception people have of them? how do they surprise people?

grant is such a weird dude because i feel like he gives off so many vibes that all of his traits and interests could be believable. but mayyyybeeee it's surprising that he's into sports and played one and was good at it? i mean, you could guess that because he's a big dude and at least somewhat masc, but also that doesn't seem obvious when he dresses 99% of the time like a "former" emo kid and keeps bright sparkly nail polish on at all times. i'll say that for the contradictory interest LMAO. the queer, nerdy, shy, emo kid is into sports. other than that...maybe it seems contradictory that he has PTSD and is anxious in social situations or in places that connect to his trauma but he's also the most relaxed person otherwise. you get the impression he'd be like that 24/7 but no, it's kind of isolated to the things that most relate to his trauma. like he wouldn't get stressed if he were stuck in six-hour traffic and back when he had his former job, he was totally relaxed dealing with crazy passengers or serious mechanical issues on planes. he is the guy you want to chat with in an emergency because he's going to be the one with a plan and a level head.

päivi...hmm maybe it's surprising she's super into social media? she has a very closed-off personality, like she's not friendly at all LMAO and she hates talking to people and can be a real bitch, so you'd think she's equally as private and closed-off online but nope, she's very picky about her instagram feed and she only wants to post the best pics and she craves likes and comments. and yes, all the pictures for the most part are of herself.

shannon, my beloved 🤍 i think it could seem contradictory in a way that she's such a sweetheart but she suffers BIG TIME from "foot in mouth syndrome" aka she's always saying something a little out of turn or awkward or saying something she shouldn't. she can be a bit, um, tactless. it's never her being mean, just not reading the room, you know? like her little brother announced that he and his girlfriend were having a baby and he was dropping out of school, and her initial response was to say, "oh, well, you're going to have a lot of debt to pay off!" she meant it out of concern but it was totally the wrong moment and way to say it and her brother remains pissed at her for it. they get in a fight over it like biweekly. and shannon does this a lot. but you'd think the woman with a PhD in literature...who studies a lot of words and has written TONS of papers and fictional stories...could string her spoken words together somewhat better.

now for margot! you know what, i have this image of her in head being super brave and having a cool bucket list with lots of things already checked off. she's this sweet, artsy, introverted therapist and she definitely has a lovely family at home BUT she's gone skydiving and cave spelunking and all that other wacky bucket list stuff!

Mirio Togata as America

I first put Denki as America but then I saw a post and now I can’t stop thinking about BTT SeroKiriKami so yeah-

Mirio and America have more things in common other than being blond, blue-eyed precious beans that need to be protected

First of- s t r o n g. They’re both canonically some of the strongest characters in their respective series despite their relatively young ages (Mirio being above some pro-hero levels despite still being in high school and America being well America lmao)

Additionally, they both have drive; they have a determination to become as strong as they possibly could, and stop at nothing to get there

Also, they love helping people! Mirio wants to save a million smiles, and America is a self-proclaimed hero (who admittedly isn’t the best but he’s trying okay)

Both of them kinda also have a hidden intelligence? Like, as in one would never think of them to be highly intelligent people because they’re so goofy and energetic

Since it’s implied that both Tamaki and Mirio game in their free time, him and America are also avid gamers (imagine them playing smash together lmao I feel like they’d break all the controllers)

Both v v competitive too (not as much as the next duo tho)- they’ll never back down from a challenge and face it head on with all their might!

Also, they’re basically the blond boy of the month but it’s every month lmao

(In my eyes they’re both cute little golden retrievers shshsjdjskal)

In conclusion, they’re sunshines who deserve the world and more

Katsuki Bakugo as England

Okay fr hear me the fuck out-

I know it’s an unlikely pair

But they have their similarities just bear with me here

Yes, I was initially going to put in Romano for Bakugo (anger issues gang)

But then the more I thought about it, the more I realized that unlike Romano, he wouldn’t back away from a challenge or run at the slightest scare- Bakugo would take that shit and smother it into the ground

And while England may sometimes be portrayed as a prude gentleman type, we can’t forget his history- this man is probably one of, if not the most, ballsy countries to exist (at least back in his prime)

England is smart, calculated and cunning- how could you not be when you’ve conquered nearly the whole damn world?

He’s proud and maybe a bit too egotistical, and while lacking the anger issues and probably dead vocal cords of Bakugo, he sure as hell matches him in the pride and power aspect

Bakugo, on the other hand, is literally top of his class; boy is a nerd and has a perfect record

So he’s by no means any less smart than England, maybe a little more reckless, but he’s 16- you can’t exactly compare his mindset to a country’s

Even so he does act quickly on the battlefield, much like England assessed situations very precariously (most of the time)

Both of them would probably look an opponent dead in the eye and tell them to do it, bet you won’t pussy ass

On a lighter note tho, they’re two blond, spiky-haired tsunderes who are way to proud and smart for their own good

They also both listen to rock/punk so there’s that too

Aoyama Yuuga as France

I know I just said SeroKamiKiri is the BTT but once again hear me out

I couldn’t not put Aoyama in as France

It’s literally a match made in Heaven guys cmon

They’re both sparkling, flamboyant and fabulous blondies

Although sometimes their attitude can be interpreted as holier-than-thou, really they just know that they’re amazing and don’t care what people think (we stan confident kings 😤)

They also know that they deserve the best luxuries in life, and definitely won’t settle for anything else

In terms of courage, they’re pretty much on the same level; they get scared easily and will more than likely either back out of the challenge or give up the moment they feel tired

The difference is, France will never regain whatever bravery he had before the French Revolution, but Aoyama is slowly building his courage up in his journey to become a hero

They also take things in stride, willingly or unwillingly (whether it be an ugly outfit or a defeat, they won’t be a sore loser lmao)

While not necessarily flirty like France, Aoyama can still charm people with his whims. Also, their relationship towards people that they can’t charm kind of mirrors one another? (Might be reaching here lmao)

I do think though sometimes that Aoyama shows some similarities with Poland/2P!Romano, but he has the most similarities with France so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Toga Himiko as Russia

You may say she’s more like Belarus but nay nay I say

Belarus is the more kind of ‘stoic’ cruel in my mind; she doesn’t show much emotion besides annoyance and getting angry

Russia however

He’s ‘childishly’ cruel- looks innocent but is capable of some horrible, monstrous things.

Even though his face says otherwise, he does take some glee in torturing harming others (like, a lot)

Toga also does this, but in a much more obvious way lmao. She’s a villain, who drinks blood, there’s no doubt she hasn’t killed anyone. She also takes a lot more pleasure from hurting people than Russia does

They not that close with people, but the ones they are close to they are immensely protective of (Toga and the LOV, Russia and his sisters)

They also are capable of being highly intelligent, knowing more than what people think they know (Toga helping Twice our, and I high key headcanon Russia as a manipulative and cunning bastard who’s done many horrible things to people to get his way)

(I still love you Ivan)

I think this goes without saying but they’re really really violent

Russia just likes using his magic metal pipe of pain, and Toga likes her knives

They also have some really shitty pasts that have lead them to be who they are today

They may look cute on the outside, but they are oh so very cruel on the inside

Shota Aizawa as China

Haha, old man syndrome-

These two have more in common than you’d think

First off, they have that wisdom that comes with age, and are trying to get the younger ones to learn it (Aizawa does this better lmao)

I can totally see them complaining about ‘kids these days’ even tho they’ve done the same shit back then-

Along with wisdom comes cunning and craft. I headcanon China as a low key genius, so he’s probably on par with Aizawa, if not better (in terms of battle strategy and such)

Even though they come off as strict, all they really want is the best for their students/siblings

They’re both physically strong (China was probably once hella jacked, and Aizawa speaks for himself)

They do tire out quite easily tho so there’s that

Both have a penchant for cute animals like cats (Hello Kitty’s a cat don’t @ me)

On a darker note, they’ve both suffered losses of close friends. While China has definitely lost a lot more, Shirakumo’s ‘death’ still took a huge toll on him. Likewise, China has lost all his ancient friends over the years, making him the last one left (except turkey and Mongolia they don’t matter rn)

Tenya Iida as Germany

You cannot tell me this isn’t also a match made in heaven

They’re literally, at their very core, almost the exact same person

Iida is a stickler for rules- he follows every single one of them. Any and every. Pretty organized too, if I do say so myself

Likewise, Germany is also very strict with rules and regimens. He’s also canonically OCD so mans cannot stand messes (people or things)

It may make them seem like pains in the neck but really it’s the only way they know how to interact

Also have some angsty connections with their brothers

Although not as easily provoked as Germany, Iida can still be just as terrifying (mans tried to kill Stain I mean come on-)

As with nearly all of these characters, they’re both strong as hecc

Also, I feel like both of them are somewhat pressured by what their other family members have accomplished and want to achieve the same thing (Iida coming from a family of superheroes, and Germany really looking up to his father and brother and wanting to be like them but less yknow)

They don’t really know how to communicate well?? Like, of course they can talk and hold conversation but they have difficulty with most social interactions (it’s adorable)

More often than not the louder voice of reason within their friend group (Everyone in the Dekusquad besides Deku himself is the voice of reason lmao, and Germany is a no-nonsense kind of guy)

Smart bois (In Gakuen Hetalia, Germany is said to be one of the smartest students and tutors Italy, and Iida tries his best)

All in all very awkward and loud losers beans that need to learn how to not be so stiff lmao

Shoto Todoroki as Japan

Y’all already know I had to pair the introverts together

Calm, collected and reserved- these two mind their own business like it’s a sports championship lmao

Even though they may come off as intimidating sometimes, in reality they’re just shy and don’t really know the basics of social interaction (more than Germany and Iida lmao)

They’re both fairly strong, too (Todoroki with his icy hot quirk makes him one of the most OP characters in MHA imo, and Japan definitely doesn’t carry around a katana just for show)

Very very convoluted and not so great childhood (Think the sengoku period was Japan’s childhood so he was basically torn up as a kid while Todoroki had to deal with Endebitch)

Also both pretty smart??? Like, high key they’re both very intelligent and skilled

Both their friends are slowly helping them get out of that super duper introverted mindset, but the poor bbs are still trying to learn how to be a lot less stiffe

They’re also really into architecture esp traditional Japanese architecture (canon in both)

I honestly think they’d get along pretty well if they met, tbh

(Japan would get him into anime and manga and the bookworm in Todoroki can’t resist)

The strange circumstance of Italy

Honestly, I could not find anyone in MHA that was remotely similar to Italy

I was very close to putting in Mina or Nejire, since those two come to mind whenever I think of bright and bubbly (Maybe Kirishima too, but it just doesn’t fit)

So while those two are pretty much the most fitting I feel, they don’t completely encompass his character enough yonow?

Like, I genuinely cannot find anyone who is similar enough to compare him to

So for now, until I can find a suitable pick, Italy won’t have a MHA character to be paired up with 😔 sorry guys

Hi! I'm ☂️ and I was wondering if I could have a match up? I'm female, a cancer, and a INFJ. I'm 5'8, skinny, with long brown hair. Growing up with Bokuto is not boring to say the least. He was constantly dragging you to do things with him! annie i have three words for you... i got you. i already told you this, but i am working on a “beginners guide to led zeppelin.” i planned on it being more giggles mainly, but i'm going back and adding a decent amount of information just for you

fun facts about led zeppelin and the beatles: led zeppelin were the band that beat the beatles record held for most attendance at a concert (55,000 people). on may 5, 1973 (and with no opening act) led zeppelin beat that record by having an attendance of 56,800 people. also! for the beatles movie ‘a hard days night’ jimmy page did the instrumental version of this boy that plays while ringo is wandering around. pretty rad. oh, and george harrison went to a led zeppelin party once and was thrown into a pool by john bonham.

i gotta say this before i begin though, led zeppelin is one of those bands where hardly anything gets confirmed or denied. at least nothing “controversial” or anything more than basic gets an answer to it. so sometimes you gotta take things with a grain of salt, and you gotta just have the mindset of “well this might not be true so I'm not gonna claim it as so.” with that being said i'll start with getting you into led zeppelin.

through the span of their short career led zeppelin had eight studio albums.

they also have a few live albums and compilation albums as well. but when people talk about led zeppelin albums they're mainly referring to these ones. i like all of their albums. i think they're all good. my personal favorites are the second and fourth albums. i do think that led zeppelins music isn't for everyone though. they're not as clean as some other bands are. I will list my favorite songs from each album.

i think all of these are good starter songs for someone just now getting into led zeppelin. i hope you like them! they have one movie, the song remains the same, and it’s weird but also good. it’s basically concert footage of their madison square garden show but there’s also cuts of little skits they made? idk how to describe it lol.

in my beginners guide post i'll write more about the members and go into more details and funny facts about them. right now i'll just briefly introduce you to them. to talk about led zeppelin you have to start with the yardbirds. jimmy page (zeppelin’s guitarist) was in the yardbirds until they broke up in 1968 and then jimmy started looking for his “super group.” him and Peter grant (zeppelin’s manager) started looking for the best of the best people. in 1968 led zeppelin was formed.

jimmy page is known as one of the best guitar players in rock history. he’s usually always in the top three listings. he was a session guitarist for a while and would fill in on people’s records. on Joe cocker’s version of ‘with a little help from my friends’ jimmy is playing the guitar on it. and he joined the yardbirds with eric clapton and jeff beck who are also listed as the best guitarists. he was a soft spoken, quiet dude. he seemed very shy and introverted. but then you read groupie stories about how he had whips, handcuffs, and razors. he was also given a lot of shit for studying crowley’s work, and was known for his “witchcraft ways.” he struggled with addiction (heroin and cocaine) and pulled himself through in the end. but he was, and still is, an amazing guitar player. he also produced all of zeppelin’s albums. so he’s an amazing producer as well. he got a lot of unnecessary hate and criticism back in the day (still does). and you can thank jimmy for all the newish led zeppelin stuff we get bc that’s all on him more than likely.

john paul jones is known as one of the best bassists in rock history. he was not only zeppelin’s bassist but also keyboardist. and he can play recorder as well. like jimmy, he was also a session musician. jimmy and jones knew of each other and when jones heard about jimmy putting a group together he called him. he was more of the serious member in a way. jimmy, bonham, and robert were more wild and would cause chaos. john paul jones would deadass book a room at another hotel and not tell anyone where he was. he just wasn't into that kind of thing. so I don't think he was really all that close to the other members. he felt left out a lot. him and john bonham were an amazing rhythm section. the best in history. they knew exactly what to do to stay in sync. he was also the one to find john bonham when he died. so that’s sad.

robert plant is known as one of the best vocalists in rock history. his voice is *chef kiss.* i love him. he wasn't jimmy’s first pick in a singer. in fact, jimmy’s first pick was the one who recommended robert to jimmy and also said that he looked like “a greek god.” robert plant is just about the most attractive man ever. jimmy liked roberts voice a lot but doubted his songwriting skills so was weary of him at first. robert had never written songs until joining led zeppelin. robert was the reason john bonham joined the group. him and bonham were best friends before the group even formed and remained that way until bonham’s death. robert also went through a lot of shit during led zeppelin’s timeline and honestly i'm so proud of him for getting through all of it. right now robert likes to act like he was never in led zeppelin though lmao.

john bonham is known as one of the best drummers in rock history. i’m not even kidding. his power behind the drums is mind-blowing. when he was approached by jimmy about the band he denied the offer. and continued to deny the offer bc he had a family to take care of, and didn't know how well this band would be. but it was robert plant who convinced him to join so they could play together. he loved his family very much (a wife and son who name is jason). he hated being away from them. he was known as the sweetest man ever unless he was drunk. the problem was that he was always drunk. he had a drinking problem. he did a lot of stupid shit when drunk. he died in 1980 after he had the equivalent of 40 shots of vodka and threw up in his sleep causing himself to choke. after he died, led zeppelin died as well.

after john’s death the band called it quits. they all like to say it’s because no other drummer would be able to compare to bonham. robert says that he loved john bonham too much and couldn't force himself to go out there and do a show without him as the drummer. robert plant is likely the reason we’ll never get another zeppelin reunion show. there were three reunion shows in the past. the first reunion was their live aid show which fucking sucks. john paul jones wasn't even informed about the event and ended up on keyboard instead of bass, jimmy was likely on drugs bc of how out of it he was, robert’s voice is awful, and the drummers hardly knew the material. it was a rushed show but it was for charity and i'm sure they made a lot of money. the last show being the celebration day reunion in 2007 where jason bonham (john’s son) played the drums. it’s a really really good show and i cry every time i watch it. you can watch the whole thing on youtube. still to this day it’s evident that jimmy, Jason, and jones would love to do a reunion show again.

led zeppelin is one of the few groups that can say all of their members were just about the best at what they did. each member will always be in the top ten rankings for lists of the best artists/musicians. that’s really impressive. they were really, really good together. I hope this was a good starter post!

so who’s ready for a post about my time in new york and also my feelings because it was a pretty emotional week? no one? alright i’m gonna post it anyway

so i already told you the story about my cancelled flight but i just wanna say i’m so fucking grateful that i have such an amazing and supportive family. i had a really bad panic attack and i wanted to go home and my family was like alright it’s your decision, whatever you wanna do is fine and if you wanna go home, you can go home right now. and that just showed me that my family cares more about my mental health than money and that’s honestly the best feeling in the world. i’m so happy that my sister was at the airport with me because she was like whatever your decision is, we’re gonna support you and no one would be disappointed because i honestly felt like the biggest loser in that moment and i thought everyone would be mad at me. also big shout out to that lovely lady at the airport. she talked to my sister and she was like hey there’s a free seat next to me, we can just ask if you can sit next to me and when my sister had to leave she was with me the whole time and she talked to me and distracted me and that’s exaclty what i needed so big thank you to that woman because she helped me even though she didn’t even know me.

OKAY now let’s talk about my time in new york. my hotel was absolutely amazing. it was a little pricey but it was SO worth it. i had a beautiful room with a big shower and a big bed and i felt so comfortable and safe the whole time and everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. the rooftop made me speechless because you had a beautiful view over manhattan. i took a pic of that view almost every day lmao

i spent so much time outside in the 6 days i was there. i saw so many things and i met some of my tumblr friends. my personal highlights were the view from the top of the rock and the brooklyn bridge/brooklyn bridge park. i also saw the empire state building, times square, the statue of liberty, the flatiron building, central park, the 9/11 memorial, madison square garden (when i was there i was like omg one direction was here a few years ago!!!! dkhgkdf) and a few other things. i also went to the shawn mendes concert in newark with ally and kellie and it was sooooo much fun!!! unfortunately i didn’t go to the 1d party on saturday because i didn’t feel good but it’s okay. i can have a 1d party in my room any day lmfao

the food in new york was good. but i gotta be honest, i’ve seen a lot of places in europe and tried a lot of food here so i would say the food in europe is better BUT olive garden was pretty good and i really liked the shake shack burgers lmao (and i bought SOO much reese’s chocolate lmfao it’s my favorite)

new york is a great city and i will definitely come back!! (and i have a few other american cities on my bucket list) but i could never live there. i live in berlin so i know what it’s like to live in a big city but nyc is a whole other level lmao (and also i just really love germany and europe dfkjghd) but it was such a wonderful week and i took a million pics. i’m gonna talk about this trip for the rest of my life because it was a crazy experience and i’m so happy that i was there. i’m a bit sad that the bad start kinda ruined the first 2 days for me but it’s okay

now i’m back in berlin and i’m so proud of myself that i did this. i planned the whole thing, i was extremely prepared for this trip because i’ve read a million things about new york and I went there alone. so i’m really fucking proud of myself because it was nerve racking and overwhelming but i did it. but this whole experience also showed me that it’s okay to ask for help sometimes because it’s scary to be alone and to do things alone. i can do things that make me happy without other people but sometimes i need the emotional support from other people and i receive that support every day, from my family, from my friends in real life and on here and even from strangers that don’t really know me. you can definitely be happy when you’re alone but i think it’s also important to remember that it’s okay to ask for help when you need it. even if it’s just a reply or message from a friend or stranger on here. so i just wanna thank everyone for helping me and supporting me and rooting for me. all your comments on my text posts and all your messages mean so much to me and they help me so much. and even if you’re just reading this post because you care about me, thank you, it really means a lot.

also big shout out to ally @highrry because she helped me SO much over the past few months and she made my time in nyc so special. i saw her almost every day and i enjoyed every second with her (sorry if i was a little shy and awkward, i was just super nervous and i’m an introvert lmao but it had nothing to do with you!!) i can’t wait for you to come to europe. i love you so much ally, thank you

growing up in small town wisconsin hanna didn’t ever really plan on going to a college like columbia.

number one she doubted her own ability to get into an ivy league university, despite being heavily involved in extra curricular programs and having very good grades she never thought it was going to be enough to earn her a place in such a prestigious institution

number two she kind of always thought she’d stay closer to home, maybe the university of wisconsin or something in chicago. she’s incredibly close with her family, having grown up with most of her extended family living in her hometown or at least quite close to her hometown

but all the same she applied, her driving motivation being columbia’s brilliant environmental science research programs. she’d been an avid environmentalist since she was a tween. a vegetarian since she was eleven, a vegan since she was fourteen, and even trying her best to live as waste free as possible from time to time ( senior year she’s not very focused on it because it takes a lot of time that she doesn’t have between study and work but she still tries a lil )

she’s a very old soul, heavily influenced by the fact that she grew up living with her grandparents. she loves reading, is always carrying a book in her bag if not several. she dresses pretty modestly but thats a comfort thing more than like a wanting to be modest thing lmao. big introvert but not shy, she will absolutely tell you to go fuck yourself if you’re annoying her even slightly

it’s red ( @jihoonfmd + @fmdxiu ) back at it again with another soft muse because i suck at playing assholes lmao. this is wonpil, better known as vinny. i have his profile here but i don’t have a plots page up because i’ll be listing some connections and plots at the bottom of this post. like this if you’re interested in plotting and we can work something out! this is gonna be queued because i’m gonna be out until late tonight, so i’ll respond to messages/send messages to people tomorrow morning!

he was born in newark, new jersey, but he moved to florence, italy when he was only two years old, so he considers florence to be his hometown

his parents were both in the latter halves of their lives (late fifties, early sixties) so it was a surprise that his mother even got pregnant, but he was their little miracle baby

when he was two years old, his parents decided to retire and moved to their favorite vacation spot, florence, because they loved it so much when they went their on their honeymoon and a few times throughout the years of their marriage

florence wasn’t a good environment for wonpil because he was teased and bullied a lot because of his race. he didn’t have many friends growing up, and it caused him to become rather introverted and closed off

his father passed away due to natural causes when wonpil was on thirteen years old, and while he and his mother had been expecting it, it was still really hard for him to accept

they moved to daegu to live with his mother’s younger sister a few weeks later

he liked south korea way more than florence because he finally felt as though he fit in and people actually made efforts to be friends with him and he finally had companions for the first time in his life

when he was fifteen, he was scouted by a modeling agency and was signed with them. he did spreads and ads here and there for the next few years, slowly building up his portfolio, before he hit his big break when he was nineteen, nearing the end of his modeling contract. it was his last project for him after contract renewals showed up. the spread was with a member of alien (there’s a little connection there) and it was a big hit

dimensions approached him a few months later and offered him a spot in the company as a trainee. he didn’t know if he should take it or not, especially because he felt as though he were too old to be a trainee, but he caved under the pressure dimensions put on him and signed after his modeling contract expired

he thought he would be allowed to train for at least two years because of his lack of background in singing, dancing and rapping, but he went into the company in november of 2013 and had to debut with the rest of the mars boys in may of 2014

he wasn’t ready, and that was painfully obvious to everyone, especially their fans. his dancing wasn’t up to par with the others. he could sing if you let him stand still in front of a mic, but he lacked stamina and always sounded out of breath during live performances

he was really hard on himself during this time and thought that he wasn’t good enough to be in a group with others who had trained for longer than he had. it was like he was given an opportunity that he didn’t deserve

he slowly but surely started to show improvement, and by the chained up era, he was a lot better.

he debuted with the stage name “vinny” because vincent ‘vinny’ was his father’s western name

Who are your character’s parents ? Helen and Robert Parr. How would your character describe them ? Despite her not being around, she’s just a little bit closer to her mother than her father. Even when they butt heads, she feels like her mother has a more logical and better approach to most situations. Violet appreciates her father’s work to try and keep everything balanced inside the Parr household, however even as he tries to help she feels like sometimes he can’t (or wouldn’t) understand. Do they have any siblings ? Two younger brothers: Dash and Jack-Jack Parr. Are they close with their family ? Like with any big family, she tends to distance herself and go her own way, especially when her brothers are getting on her nerves, but at the end of the day she would stick for them at any situtation.

Awake

It’s a little slower at work today, so I have time to mess around aka blog. This past week has been really busy and socially filled. My family from texas (3 families) came to stay at my house for a few days to attend my brother’s wedding. There were like 14 people staying at my house which was way too many. I got to meet one of my cousins Maylee who is from a small city in Texas. She’s more outspoken and not shy. The other three girls were very introverted, and barely spoke. They were here to visit a few years ago, and they were much more engaging then. So because our personalities are pretty similar, there wasn’t a lot of interaction. But anyway, it was just so busy at home and preparing for the wedding that we barely had time to just hang out, and since we’re all introverted too, we were drained by the obligatory social interactions.

The wedding day- woke up at 5am to get our hair and makeup done. The makeup artists were this khmer lady who is supposedly pretty popular as a singer/entertainer and her daughter. The daughter brought her son (~10 years old) and a baby. She was all tatted up lol and I was like oh no I hope she doesn’t make me look ratchet. She asked me if I had a picture of the makeup I wanted and I said no. Then she asked me “natural?” and I said yes. I was the first one to do my makeup and I didn’t necessarily like the way it turned out because everything was overly exaggerated, but everyone else said I looked nice and I just listened to them. I was like wtf, this is natural? Once I saw the other girls makeup, I realized that it didn’t look that great, but I wasn’t the only one lookin like Mulan’s matchmaker so that was okay lmao. One girl told the makeup artist “something’s wrong with my face. I don’t know what’s wrong, but something’s wrong” after she finished her makeup. The makeup artist assured her that the makeup has to be heavy to look good in professional photos. Shrugs. We were just like whatevers but at least the bride’s makeup turned out well. The morning ceremony had about 100 or so people. At first, I didn’t know how I would feel about having to see family I don’t really talk to, but after this event… I’m more open to it and not as shy around them anymore. We don’t have to be fake with each other and everyone’s just as busy and preoccupied with their own life to overthink things the way I do. It was actually really beautiful to have everyone in one place celebrating my brother’s wedding.

After the morning ceremony was the photoshoot in Echo Park and then we went to the Airbnb that my brother rented out for out of town guests to hang for a bit before the night reception. All the bridesmaids stripped down their makeup and touched it up. I tried as best I could but by the end of the night I think my makeup/face looked a little towed up because I was so tired haha. The wedding was actually a blast. It wasn’t very formal, like normally the bridesmaids and groomsmen are supposed to line up at the entrance to greet people, but we were just all over the place instead and I wasn’t doing my job. My partner for the entrance was Alfred, and we were the last couple to be introduced before the bride and groom. Our entrance was super awkward LOL and I was seriously nervous and uncomfortable. When they opened up the dancefloor (which was just after the first dish came out) people started dancing. The dancefloor was super packed and I was glad that people were enjoying themselves. Cambodian music started the night and then they played Drake… my friend commented how funny it was seeing old people dancing to drake lol. The bride was like pressuring everyone to drink and she even spilled some brandy on me and others LOL. Apparently everyone was running away from her when they saw her coming over to their table. She was legit pouring alcohol into rice bowls for people to drink and being very aggressive about it. Everyone was fine except my friend/bridesmaid Bena who got wasted and threw up twice. I brought her to the restroom to throw up and was avoiding eye contact with anyone the whole time lol. Although most of my family saw and knew what happened. When she gets a little drunk, she can be overly friendly… one of the groomsmen ended up asking her out a few days later. I also later found out that my introverted 11 year cousin cried by the end of the night because the music was so loud. My dad was hella crazy but had fun being around all his friends. After the wedding I realized we didn’t even take one immediate family photo because we were all spread out trying to run the show/host. Oh wellz. The wedding party was a profit so that was great. My brother and his wife are still tending to people/visitors so they haven’t had a chance to really slow down and return to their normal lives yet. And my family is barely returning to that now. I was super tired up until today. I feel maybe 90% now.

I spent Sunday night/Monday with Matt for my birthday. We had great sex twice and I think we are much more in sync now. Our kissing is way better and now I look forward to kissing him when before I used to avoid it. I went to pick him up from his place in Temple City and he drove my car to Temecula, where we spent the night, because his car was having issues. During our one hour drive, he couldn’t stop talking. I was so exhausted I felt like I was drunk because I can’t really remember wtf he was rambling on about. He said he missed me and didn’t know what to when I was busy during the weekend. However, I think he was really happy that he was comfortable enough to vent to me (again, I don’t even remember what he was talking about for that long). He said he doesn’t normally do this etc. His mom had just gone to the ER the day of, so his mind was kinda elsewhere at times and he was spacier than usual during our time together. The lunch spot I chose wasn’t that great and it was kinda pricey (~70) for what it was. One of the dishes I chose was super salty and we sucked it up/didn’t complain about it but were a little salty about that lol. The hotel was nice though and I think I’m starting to appreciate hotels more. I used to be into getting AirBnBs all the time but sometimes hotels are just easier and you don’t have to think too much. Plus he’s willing to spend over a hundred or so so that’s nice lol. The wine tour we had was bomb/educational and funny because it was a mix of young and old folks, and the old folks had a lot of cool things to say. We went to do a second wine tasting after that at a nearby winery. He notes how I rarely talk about myself and gave me a template “I, Connie, am…” and at first I answered “female”. Then I remember talking about other things/other people. I don’t really know how to talk about myself but rather I just share what’s going on in my life at the moment and my perspective on it. Because I feel like you can make your own judgement of me from spending time with me, or if you want to know something specific then ask a more specific question. At the end of that, we were both kinda buzzed and I think we have the same alcohol tolerance which works out. He drove back and I kept on wanting to kiss him during the drive. We laughed about how he’s a better/more careful driver when buzzed than when sober because he becomes extra cautious. What we talked about was kinda a blur but I remember telling him how much I think G makes, and that my ex didn’t have parents. I also remember letting out a silent stinky fart and thinking to myself, I hope he doesn’t smell this lol. We had dinner at golden deli. One recurring question he asks is do your guy friends like you? Or something like that. And I always tell him no and that no one likes me. And he finally asked me how I got into my past relationships, because that was one question I asked him. I just said that the guys were persistent and that I didn’t have anything better to do LOL. That I wasn’t very intentional about my last relationships and therefore didn’t take them as seriously. And I said I’m looking for something more stable now. The night before, when we were Netflix and chilling, we brought up the topic of Aziz/Master of None and I asked him which girl/relationship he preferred. He said he preferred the Italian one because their relationship development was very natural. And he told me that his past relationships happened because they were just placed together/saw each other all the time because of school and things just gradually happened. He said he would get to know someone really well before starting a physical relationship with them, to which I started cracking up at, a lot. I laughed so much because he seemed so pure/innocent and I feel like not a lot of attractive guys think that way anymore. He’s still pretty idealist and a romantic for sure, and I think we balance each other out because I’m more practical/cynical. Dropped him off at home and that was the end to a wonderful weekend. Whenever I thank him for something, he likes to thank me for something in return, and one thing he likes to say is “thank you for being you”. Which I think is pretty sweet.
