Paula at the beginning of the exchange program vs Paula once it ends and she comes back to visit (thanks Sol)

In the beginning she was definitely terrified, but was doing her best to keep it under wraps. She kept to herself and kept her head down. Tried to follow the rules, including sticking to the uniform, but her curiosity always got the better of her. Magic and potions always fascinated her in fiction.

As she gets closer to everyone, she begins to let her guard down, and even begins to have fun. She's braver because she knows she's not alone now. Modifies her uniform as she goes along, especially after seeing how unique everyone else's is and how they get away with it being messy

The beginning of season two is when her and Mammon finally stop being idiots and get together. Her uniform finally feels complete, ribbon traded out for her necklace. She feels back at home once more.
