Tuesday 21st Jan
Office day, loooooong one. Mega busy again, phones all day again but I was also training the new girl so I got a few brief breaks where she had questions.
Got home and did a brief workout so as not to have done nothing. Arm day 💪 Matt did the same, rolled in the house, bashed out a workout, then we ate dinner and went to bed early bc we were both so exhausted 🫠

Weds 22nd January
FINALLY at home. Walked Mags, had crumpets for breakfast. Took calls all morning, it was busy but not unbearable and quiet enough that I got to have the afternoon doing actual work, off the phones! Thank god! Had the most delicious avocado on a bagel for lunch 😍

Tried out a closer gym in the Upper West Side for the first time for funsies/bc it was getting late, and it wasn't too shabby (small locker room tho for being a two-floorer), though despite it being leg day my chest apparently wanted to chest 😳

Tuesday 15th January
WFH day. Walked Mags early and again at lunch. The sun was out and it was WARM!!

Back to work. 4.45 came around and she knew I should be wrapping up but instead my fucking phone rang at 4.55. Again.

Had some stuff to do, had a cup of tea while I did it bc I had wanted one all afternoon and not had a chance to come downstairs to make one bc there was just a constant stream of calls coming in and only 6 of us to handle them. 6000 letters issued yesterday will do that 🤢
Worked out before dinner - leg day but I only did 2 sets of everything rather than my usual 3 bc I was running short on time and my legs were already v tired from all the walking lately so I wanted to prioritise a decent stretch bc I was fucked up from leg day last week.

15-Minute Leg Workout at Home 
Here’s a quick and effective 15-minute leg workout you can do at home with no equipment. This routine targets your quads, hamstrings, glutes, and calves. Warm up for 2-3 minutes (e.g., jogging in place, high knees, or dynamic stretches) before starting.
Workout Structure
Perform each exercise for 40 seconds, followed by 20 seconds of rest.
Complete 2 rounds of the circuit.
Focus on proper form and control.
Exercises
Bodyweight Squats
Stand with feet shoulder-width apart.
Lower your hips back and down as if sitting in a chair, keeping your chest up.
Push through your heels to return to standing.
Reverse Lunges
Step one leg back and lower your hips until both knees are at 90 degrees.
Push through your front heel to return to standing.
Alternate legs with each rep.
Glute Bridges
Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
Squeeze your glutes and lift your hips toward the ceiling.
Lower back down with control.
Wall Sit
Lean against a wall and slide down until your knees are at 90 degrees.
Hold the position, keeping your core engaged.
Step-Ups (Use a sturdy chair or low surface)
Step one foot onto the surface and push through your heel to lift your body up.
Lower back down with control.
Alternate legs with each rep.
Calf Raises
Stand with feet hip-width apart.
Rise onto your toes, squeezing your calves at the top.
Lower back down slowly.
Cool Down (2-3 minutes)
Stretch your quads, hamstrings, glutes, and calves to improve flexibility and reduce soreness.
This workout is perfect for building strength and endurance in your legs. Adjust the intensity by adding more rounds or increasing the work intervals!
