Tuesday 21st Jan
Office day, loooooong one. Mega busy again, phones all day again but I was also training the new girl so I got a few brief breaks where she had questions.
Got home and did a brief workout so as not to have done nothing. Arm day 💪 Matt did the same, rolled in the house, bashed out a workout, then we ate dinner and went to bed early bc we were both so exhausted 🫠

Weds 22nd January
FINALLY at home. Walked Mags, had crumpets for breakfast. Took calls all morning, it was busy but not unbearable and quiet enough that I got to have the afternoon doing actual work, off the phones! Thank god! Had the most delicious avocado on a bagel for lunch 😍

how do u imagine the packs individual fashion styles? do you have some aesthetic or style in mind when writing each character going to work/uni/events etc, or is it up to imagination? like if each walked into a clothes store what's the first thing that would catch the eye of kit or natty for example

Liam probably wears the brightest colours - And loves his jumpers - Izzy also loves Liam's jumpers.
Kit's mission is to get everyone out of clothes at all times - he's anti fashion???
Izzy likes to dress the others up when there's a chance??
Nat <3 occasional nail polish whenever Lucy feels like it
Lime does top of the head ponytail sprout whenever his hair is long enough and needs to be off his face for work😭 - is that fashion?? - ehh its cute that's what it is
#It's definitely up to imagination#so anything goes really#there's certain things that come up every now and then in the series#Like Nizzy stealing clothes#but also all of them stealing everyones clothes??#(Except Izzy's for the most part bc hims tiny)#Lime in sportswear bc obvious reasons#comfy clothes at home!!#joggers and hoodies we cherish#Izzys jeans are torn at the knees#it's not just a fashion statement - it's skateboarding baby#Kitty in blacks and maroons#and lots of button ups - Nat also#Izzy likes those too#especially in oversized baby blue#combats/docs/boots for nat and kit#vans and sometimes converse for kit-nat & izzy#Lime just wears A Nice Sensible Shoe for Men#unless it's footy or running specific#He's in workout gear most of the time okay?? it's just practical and comfy lmao#Also he gets most of it through work so#Kit wears sunglasses when its bright out#and looks like a smug wanker but also hot so the others allow it#Liam is also hot in his posh PR suit get up#Izzy wears beanies sometimes#Nat wears Izzys beanies sometimes#that hair needs help at times yanno?#Kit can be a bit emo when it comes to his fashion#nat n his legs look like a “chic french model” or whatever it was that Kit was yapping about when they first saw him#izzy can be a bit punky but its mostly the way he carries himself 🤺💖

Tried out a closer gym in the Upper West Side for the first time for funsies/bc it was getting late, and it wasn't too shabby (small locker room tho for being a two-floorer), though despite it being leg day my chest apparently wanted to chest 😳

kinda nervous to do leg day at the actual gym ngl, like doing upper body at the gym rather than at home for the other day for the first time (!!) was a little intimidating but overall fine... but lower body is just so much messier
#like people gonna see me losin balance and shit lel... but who cares i got gains to achieve#i guess we'll see if i get my ass out of here in time to catch the 7:30 bus and do a morning workout#ideally more of the machines will be free if i go before class (ive never used a leg machine)#but honestlyyyy i kinda dig my free weight workout#we shall see what happens#i havent been blogging a lot of my strength training journey but lmk if any of yall want me to change that#i finally had to start lifting in the gym since i outgrew my home weights!!#tho for leg day imma be real i probs only need 5 pounders#thots et al#gym bear arc

Tuesday 15th January
WFH day. Walked Mags early and again at lunch. The sun was out and it was WARM!!

Back to work. 4.45 came around and she knew I should be wrapping up but instead my fucking phone rang at 4.55. Again.

Had some stuff to do, had a cup of tea while I did it bc I had wanted one all afternoon and not had a chance to come downstairs to make one bc there was just a constant stream of calls coming in and only 6 of us to handle them. 6000 letters issued yesterday will do that 🤢
Worked out before dinner - leg day but I only did 2 sets of everything rather than my usual 3 bc I was running short on time and my legs were already v tired from all the walking lately so I wanted to prioritise a decent stretch bc I was fucked up from leg day last week.

15-Minute Leg Workout at Home
Here’s a quick and effective 15-minute leg workout you can do at home with no equipment. This routine targets your quads, hamstrings, glutes, and calves. Warm up for 2-3 minutes (e.g., jogging in place, high knees, or dynamic stretches) before starting.
Workout Structure
Perform each exercise for 40 seconds, followed by 20 seconds of rest.
Complete 2 rounds of the circuit.
Focus on proper form and control.
Exercises
Bodyweight Squats
Stand with feet shoulder-width apart.
Lower your hips back and down as if sitting in a chair, keeping your chest up.
Push through your heels to return to standing.
Reverse Lunges
Step one leg back and lower your hips until both knees are at 90 degrees.
Push through your front heel to return to standing.
Alternate legs with each rep.
Glute Bridges
Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
Squeeze your glutes and lift your hips toward the ceiling.
Lower back down with control.
Wall Sit
Lean against a wall and slide down until your knees are at 90 degrees.
Hold the position, keeping your core engaged.
Step-Ups (Use a sturdy chair or low surface)
Step one foot onto the surface and push through your heel to lift your body up.
Lower back down with control.
Alternate legs with each rep.
Calf Raises
Stand with feet hip-width apart.
Rise onto your toes, squeezing your calves at the top.
Lower back down slowly.
Cool Down (2-3 minutes)
Stretch your quads, hamstrings, glutes, and calves to improve flexibility and reduce soreness.
This workout is perfect for building strength and endurance in your legs. Adjust the intensity by adding more rounds or increasing the work intervals!
