Tumblr wormhole shenanigan's!

The Neo Diamond Cutters are returning home from a successful mission when suddenly the Diamond Cutters from All Together Now (complete with Bean and Bark) appear in front of them!

How does either team react to their new imposters?!

(this is gonna be long, bear with me)

“Oh, wonderful. This is becoming a theme…” Ashley grumbled.

“So, uh, care to explain why there’s TWO TANGLES AND WHISPERS?!” Bean shrieked, shaking Ashley by the shoulders.

“Relax, dude. Something to do with a wormhole, I guess. It’s not the first time it happened in our world,” the leopard explained. “One time I came across this freaky looking shrike that sounded like static.”

Bark shivered, while Bean winced. “Sounds terrifying…”

“It was. But it blipped back into its world shortly after, so the same thing should happen with you guys, too. But while you’re still here… how’d you get in the Neos?”

Bean and Bark just looked at her, confused.

“Neo Diamond Cutters? Are you not called that in your world?”

Bark shook his head.

“Gotta admit, that sounds a lot cooler…” the bird mumbled. “But Tangle and Whisper took us in, even after realizing we were criminals! It’s been smooth sailin’ ever since! The boss lady’s kind of a downer, though…”

“Eh, in her defense, you gotta have someone to keep things in check…” the leopard chuckled. “Whisper was actually the one who offered me a spot on their team. I was kinda shocked, considering I kept accusing her of ki-“

She stopped. Whoops. She was saying too much.

Bark sat in front of Ashley, curious.

“…accused her offff…?” Bean asked.

Ashley shook her head and pat Bean’s head.

“…it’s a more personal thing on Whisper’s side. Don’t press the one for your world about it, though, alright? She’ll tell you if, or when she thinks it’s the right time.”

Bean happily leaned into Ashley’s robotic hand.

“Gotcha,” Bean answered, while Bark gave her a thumbs up.

“Mimic gave you that scar?!” ATN!Tangle gasped.

“Yeah… it’s all good though! He’s been locked up ever since! My face healed up nicely after a couple days, and now I’m living well in a nice home with Whisp!” FOF!Tangle answered. “Can the same be said for you?”

“Pretty much! Although there have been some hiccups. We got through ‘em though, and now we’re sharin’ a house with Bean and Bark!” ATN!Tangle said.

“Woah, with those guys?” FOF!Tangle laughed a little. “That must be fun.”

“Trust me, it’s not as bad as you think. And it’s nice to have a living space that I can call mine after… um…”

ATN!Tangle trailed off a bit.

“You good?” FOF!Tangle asked, concerned.

“Well… sorry, I was thinking about some familial issues. I don’t wanna be a downer-“

“Hey.” FOF!Tangle put a hand on her counterpart’s shoulder. “You’re not gonna be here forever. If you need someone to talk to about that, I’m happy to hear it.”

ATN!Tangle smiled softly and wiped her nose.

“…thank you.”

“Nice to see I’m eating well in this world, too,” ATN!Whisper said happily.

FOF!Whisper gave her an appreciative nod. “Have you… also gotten insecure about it?”

“Oh, absolutely. ‘Course, I was told it was okay. Just shows that I’ve been a lot happier as of late.”

“That’s goes for both of us, then,” FOF!Whisper responded, giving her counterpart a thumbs up. “Well, while you’re still here, I must ask… have you used your wisps’ powers on yourself?”

ATN!Whisper cocked her head to the side.

“Y’know, kinda like Sonic has…”

“…I can do that?”

“Possibly, if you’re able to train yourself. I haven’t perfected all their powers yet, but that’s only part of the process.” FOF!Whisper explained. “Can give you tips if you’d like.”

“Won’t be necessary,” ATN!Whisper declined. “I’d rather not mess with their powers like that.”

She smirked. “I’ll keep what you said in mind though.”

Both Lanolins were leaning against the wall all nonchalant, both holding cups of coffee.

“So… you also hate your mom?” FOF!Lanolin asked.

“Mhm.”

“Always got worked shoved in your face?”

“Yup.”

“But you have friends that make it somewhat worth it?”

“Correctamundo.”

They looked at each other, and clinked their glasses together.

“Livin’ like Lanny,” they both said at the same time, sipping their mugs.

FOF!Whisper and Ashley both faceplanted after falling through a wormhole.

"Ow... I'm getting real sick of this," Ashley grumbled, wiping herself off.

"Well, get used to it," FOF!Whisper sighed. "M not sure when or if this'll ever end."

They both peeked from behind a bush and saw who seemed to be ATN!Whisper.

"Okay, another you... not too out of the ordinary..." Ashley mumbled.

FOF!Whisper's eyes opened up. "Wait a second. Who's...?"

Both of them looked closer, and saw two seemingly older wolves laughing and talking with ATN!Whisper.

And it only took a few seconds to put two and two together.

“…there is no way-“

“YOU HAVE PARENTS?!” Ashley yelled in astonishment.

FOF!Whisper smacked her hand over the leopard’s mouth, but it was too late…

The happy chat of the wolf family was cut short, and all three pairs of eyes were locked on the bushes. FoF!Whisper had managed to pull Ashley down just in time for them to not be seen.

Of course, none of the veterans were going to just shake off what they heard. They nodded silently to each other, and all three silently approached the bush. Crasher pushed aside the leaves, and they found their daughter's counterpart sitting on the other side. ATN!Whisper's eyes widened, but Crasher and Vixy's narrowed.

"Found you, you rat of a cephalopod..." the gruff wolf growled, winding back his fist.

"NO! WAIT!!" Whisper blurted, stepping between her parents and her counterpart, "This isn't Mimic!"

Both older wolves blinked in surprise. They glanced between their daughter and the exact replica of their daughter now standing up behind her.

"Sure looks like him," Crasher snarled.

"How else could there be someone else who looks exactly like you, dear?" Vixy questioned, glaring daggers at the other Whisper.

"Uh...it's a long story," ATN!Whisper said.

After a long explanation of the wormholes, and ATN!Whisper meeting both her counterpart and Ashley, both parent wolves calmed down.

"Okay...sorry about all that, sweetheart," Crasher apologized to FoF!Whisper, "We, uh...well we assumed something else."

"It's...okay..." FoF!Whisper said quietly, "I...understand why you came to the other conclusion."

Vixy glanced over at the newcomer gawking at her and Crasher.

"So...you are Ashley, yes?"

"Oh! Uh, yeah. I-I mean, yes ma'am," Ashley stammered.

Vixy chuckled, "There's no need to be so formal, honey. You can just call me Vixy."

"Alright...Vixy and..." Ashley pointed at the other towering wolf with her robotic arm.

"Crasher," he proclaimed, pounding his chest with a fist, "Nice arm, by the way. I know a good piece of tech when I see one."

"Oh, um...thank you," Ashley said, rubbing her metal arm, "It sure is a great replacement."

Vixy crouched in front of the leopard, holding her hands on her knees, "How did you lose your arm anyway, sweetheart? Was it during the war?"

"Um...no," Ashley said, "It's...a long story...I don't really want to remember it right now."

Vixy smiled and nodded, "I understand."

ATN!Whisper smiled and looked over at her counterpart.

"If you don't mind me asking, do you still know your parents?"

FoF!Whisper barely looked at her counterpart, but she slowly shook her head.

"Oh...sorry."

"It's fine...but how did you end up in the original team with them still here?"

"Smithy was my dad's best friend. He trusted him to keep me safe during the war, and...well he wasn't wrong."

FoF!Whisper nodded and looked back over to Ashley talking to Crasher and Vixy.

"How did you meet your version of our angel anyway?" Vixy asked, "She has quite the fun list of stories with her other friends."

That got Ashley to start sweating. She glanced over at both of the Whispers. ATN!Whisper gave her a confused look while FoF!Whisper's eyes widened a little. She whispered something into ATN!Whisper's ear, and that got her eyes to widen too. ATN!Whisper rapidly moved her hand across her throat.

Ashley looked back up in terror at the two wolves towering over her. Both raised a brow in confusion, but before Ashley could even say anything the wormhole reopened under her and FoF!Whisper and they were gone.

"What the-?!" Crasher stumbled back.

"Fascinating," Vixy observed, "Though, I wonder why she wouldn't tell us how she met Whisper."

"Uh...who-who knows!" ATN!Whisper shrugged, "It's not too important anyway. Come on, let's go get some poundcake."

The older wolves watched their daughter happily trot away, then looked at each other.

"I...suppose we'll never know," Vixy shrugged.

"Eh, it ain't our business anyway," Crasher agreed.

*ashley wanders into the restoration’s hospital, not fully aware of the universe she’s in, and comes across jerry*

“…wait a sec, I do NOT remember you trying to save my arm… Did you just start working here?

The diminutive deer mouse scoffed, "If I was here you'd still HAVE your arm. Also I've been here for months, longer if you count the time I spent squating here in secret."

Ashley took a moment to look around the infirmary, realizing it was full of people she didn't recognize, "Wait what the heck is going on? I don't know anyone here!"

The doctor smiled, "Well it's one of four things; I've gone insane, you've gone insane, we've both gone insane, or you've somehow stumbled into a different universe."

Ashley blinked, "All four of those options are upsetting. Wait, what if this is a dream?"

"Crap good point," Jerry conceded. "Well there's only one way to solve this. And that's with a knife fight."

"A WHAT!" Ashley exclaimed.

But Jerry was already jabbing a scalpel at her in dubious jest, making the very confused leopard back up, "Hey man knock it off! What's wrong with you- OOF!" Ashley, confused as to why she backed up into what she believed to be a wall, turned around only to see the biggest and meanest looking turtle she had ever seen.

"There's quite a bit wrong with him. Now, come along," the massive stranger sighed before making her 'come along' by picking up Ashley by the scruff of her neck and walking towards the exit.

"WOAH HEY PUT ME DOWN!" Ashley shouted as she struggled.

But the large doctor ignored her and said in a tired voice, "If I had a nickel for every time I had to deal with the multiverse, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird it's happened twice."

Ashley was tossed out the exit, tumbling into a heap in front of Lanolin.

"Ashley!? Where gave you been!?"

"I DON'T KNOW!!!!"

The panther is part of the leopard family but it's easily identified because of its black mantle. Usually outcasted due to this difference, they face more difficulties in their habitat as they can't hide so well like others leopards (a black spot is easily identified by potential preys). They take the harder route, panthers also love to jump from tree to tree to assess the situation from a higher perspective. Because of those challenges, they know how to get a better understanding of their environments and know how to use it to their advantage

Pisces / 12-24 degrees : The forgetful predator and utopian leader. But everyone is obsessed with them even if they make a lot of mistakes. People are very very confused by these natives and Pisces panthers take this to their advantage. “…a box trap. REALLY, now?” Ashley said.

“Trust me, it’ll work,” Tangle told her, presenting a box being held up by a stick tied to a rope. Underneath the box was, you guessed it, a cup of coffee.

“That type of stuff only works in cartoons, poundcake,” Whisper said, unimpressed.

“No, trust me, I’ve seen real life examples before! We just gotta wait for Lanolin, she’ll go for the coffee, then we pull the rope and trap her in the box!” Tangle explained. “Then, we’ll do our intervention! Patience is key here-“

“Is that a straw?!” Ashley interrupted.

The three of them looked over at the mug, which had some kind of long straw inserted, absorbing the coffee.

Tangle looked up and saw Lanolin by the corner, silently sipping the coffee through the straw.

“What th- LANOLIN!!!”

Realizing she was caught, the sheep dropped the straw and bolted away.

The lemur shook her fist, yelling, “DAMN YOU AND YOUR COMEDICALLY LONG STRAW!!!”

Your Daemon & You (Pt 1.1/12)

We've been wanting to really talk about our daemons and these relationships for a long time as opposed to just reblogging forms but it can be really hard to think up prompts! This site has a lot of different questions and I think that's what we'll focus on for awhile, for our own alter-daemon relationships, learning about each other and for general daemon awareness! These will be longish posts, no tl;dr just for warning! Questions and individual answers under the cut. Not all alters may answer each question and not all may self-identify or identify their daemon. However we will differentiate based on text colour :) (Disclaimer: Colours may or may not be consistent which is why we've added ours and our daemons' names as well. Sadly tumblr is limited in its font colours)

When did you meet your daemon? -Em (of Thom and Ani): I was 16 and I had just finished the HDM series a couple days after my birthday. I was feeling lonely and wishing how I had a daemon of my own and Thom popped up as a red fox on the pillow beside me and simply said "But you do." With Ani, I met her a few days after creating her. She was quiet and demure as we were at work as a vet tech. It was so lovely to just feel her calm and assurance during work that day. -Kay (of Kekani): I formed in the body's mid-20s. Em (the only host at the time) had recently gotten back into speaking with their daemon after a long break and I think that influenced us a lot. I fronted back and forth with them, though we didn't know that at the time. I think Kiki was formed because of the newfound love Em had for their daemon and I believe that affected her development quite a bit as it mirrors the love I have for Kiki. And one day she was just there next to me. Never looked back. -Allison (of Azekia and Zephyrus): I am a fusion of two parts. In Ashley of Ziki's case, Ziki was a long time "imaginary friend" that either always was or evolved into a daemon. I had her since I was very young (3 or 4!) and she evolved with me. In Alice of Z's case, Z formed with Alice in our mid-20s. He just came right with her and has been with her since she arrived in our system. Thankfully when I fused, I got to keep both daemons! It had been a question of "what will happen??" for the first week post-fusion ^^; -Kell (of Isadora): When I formed I was bitter. I hated it. I was debilitatingly depressed. To be ripped away from your own world to a new one where you know no one and have left behind so many is hard, and it doesn't really ever heal. But I was followed by a weird, large cat. Constantly. She was always there and there was some kind of odd communication with her that I didn't have with anyone else. Eventually I spoke to a very old alter ("Auntie"), who explained the whole "system" issue, what that meant and how daemons worked/what they are. So I started speaking to mine. I learned what her form was (we don't have jaguarundis in my world) and eventually we decided on a name. I have to say that having her in my life has helped immensely. She's helped heal many wounds as well as helping ground me in my new reality -Eris (of unnamed): I'm kind of a weird one! I'm a temporary fusion of two of the kids in the system so either I exist in the system or those two kids do! We can't exist all three at once. The kids don't have their own daemon but when we're fused into me, we have a wonderful leopard gecko daemon! I'm not sure why honestly. I think it's probably a mutual want by both kids to have their own individual daemons and I think this wish definitely came into play. But from the very first time I fused into myself, I had my daemon! I don't think that he disappears when I'm the kids. I think that maybe both their consciousnesses hold a key part of my daemon so he can only exist when I'm me! Just a guess tho ^^
